< Mark 10 >
1 And having risen from there, He comes to the coasts of Judea, through the other side of the Jordan, and again multitudes come together to Him, and as He had been accustomed, again He was teaching them.
ಅನನ್ತರಂ ಸ ತತ್ಸ್ಥಾನಾತ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ಥಾಯ ಯರ್ದ್ದನನದ್ಯಾಃ ಪಾರೇ ಯಿಹೂದಾಪ್ರದೇಶ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತವಾನ್, ತತ್ರ ತದನ್ತಿಕೇ ಲೋಕಾನಾಂ ಸಮಾಗಮೇ ಜಾತೇ ಸ ನಿಜರೀತ್ಯನುಸಾರೇಣ ಪುನಸ್ತಾನ್ ಉಪದಿದೇಶ|
2 And the Pharisees, having come near, questioned Him if it is lawful for a husband to put away a wife, tempting Him,
ತದಾ ಫಿರೂಶಿನಸ್ತತ್ಸಮೀಪಮ್ ಏತ್ಯ ತಂ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿತುಂ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛಃ ಸ್ವಜಾಯಾ ಮನುಜಾನಾಂ ತ್ಯಜ್ಯಾ ನ ವೇತಿ?
3 and He answering said to them, “What did Moses command you?”
ತತಃ ಸ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವಾದೀತ್, ಅತ್ರ ಕಾರ್ಯ್ಯೇ ಮೂಸಾ ಯುಷ್ಮಾನ್ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಿಮಾಜ್ಞಾಪಯತ್?
4 And they said, “Moses permitted to write a bill of divorce, and to put away.”
ತ ಊಚುಃ ತ್ಯಾಗಪತ್ರಂ ಲೇಖಿತುಂ ಸ್ವಪತ್ನೀಂ ತ್ಯಕ್ತುಞ್ಚ ಮೂಸಾಽನುಮನ್ಯತೇ|
5 And Jesus answering said to them, “For the stiffness of your heart he wrote you this command,
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುವಾಚ, ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮನಸಾಂ ಕಾಠಿನ್ಯಾದ್ಧೇತೋ ರ್ಮೂಸಾ ನಿದೇಶಮಿಮಮ್ ಅಲಿಖತ್|
6 but from the beginning of the creation God made them a male and a female;
ಕಿನ್ತು ಸೃಷ್ಟೇರಾದೌ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ನರಾನ್ ಪುಂರೂಪೇಣ ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೂಪೇಣ ಚ ಸಸರ್ಜ|
7 on this account will a man leave his father and mother, and will cleave to his wife,
"ತತಃ ಕಾರಣಾತ್ ಪುಮಾನ್ ಪಿತರಂ ಮಾತರಞ್ಚ ತ್ಯಕ್ತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವಜಾಯಾಯಾಮ್ ಆಸಕ್ತೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ,
8 and they will be—the two—for one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh;
ತೌ ದ್ವಾವ್ ಏಕಾಙ್ಗೌ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಃ| " ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತತ್ಕಾಲಮಾರಭ್ಯ ತೌ ನ ದ್ವಾವ್ ಏಕಾಙ್ಗೌ|
9 what God therefore joined together, do not let man separate.”
ಅತಃ ಕಾರಣಾದ್ ಈಶ್ವರೋ ಯದಯೋಜಯತ್ ಕೋಪಿ ನರಸ್ತನ್ನ ವಿಯೇಜಯೇತ್|
10 And in the house His disciples again questioned Him of the same thing,
ಅಥ ಯೀಶು ರ್ಗೃಹಂ ಪ್ರವಿಷ್ಟಸ್ತದಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಃ ಪುನಸ್ತತ್ಕಥಾಂ ತಂ ಪಪ್ರಚ್ಛುಃ|
11 and He says to them, “Whoever may put away his wife, and may marry another, commits adultery against her;
ತತಃ ಸೋವದತ್ ಕಶ್ಚಿದ್ ಯದಿ ಸ್ವಭಾರ್ಯ್ಯಾಂ ತ್ಯಕ್ತವಾನ್ಯಾಮ್ ಉದ್ವಹತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸ ಸ್ವಭಾರ್ಯ್ಯಾಯಾಃ ಪ್ರಾತಿಕೂಲ್ಯೇನ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರೀ ಭವತಿ|
12 and if a woman may put away her husband, and is married to another, she commits adultery.”
ಕಾಚಿನ್ನಾರೀ ಯದಿ ಸ್ವಪತಿಂ ಹಿತ್ವಾನ್ಯಪುಂಸಾ ವಿವಾಹಿತಾ ಭವತಿ ತರ್ಹಿ ಸಾಪಿ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಣೀ ಭವತಿ|
13 And they were bringing to Him children that He might touch them, and the disciples were rebuking those bringing them,
ಅಥ ಸ ಯಥಾ ಶಿಶೂನ್ ಸ್ಪೃಶೇತ್, ತದರ್ಥಂ ಲೋಕೈಸ್ತದನ್ತಿಕಂ ಶಿಶವ ಆನೀಯನ್ತ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಸ್ತಾನಾನೀತವತಸ್ತರ್ಜಯಾಮಾಸುಃ|
14 and Jesus having seen, was much displeased, and He said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the Kingdom of God;
ಯೀಶುಸ್ತದ್ ದೃಷ್ಟ್ವಾ ಕ್ರುಧ್ಯನ್ ಜಗಾದ, ಮನ್ನಿಕಟಮ್ ಆಗನ್ತುಂ ಶಿಶೂನ್ ಮಾ ವಾರಯತ, ಯತ ಏತಾದೃಶಾ ಈಶ್ವರರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಣಃ|
15 truly I say to you, whoever may not receive the Kingdom of God as a child—he may not enter into it”;
ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವಚ್ಮಿ, ಯಃ ಕಶ್ಚಿತ್ ಶಿಶುವದ್ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಮೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ನ ಗೃಹ್ಲೀಯಾತ್ ಸ ಕದಾಪಿ ತದ್ರಾಜ್ಯಂ ಪ್ರವೇಷ್ಟುಂ ನ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ|
16 and having taken them in His arms, having put [His] hands on them, He was blessing them.
ಅನನತರಂ ಸ ಶಿಶೂನಙ್ಕೇ ನಿಧಾಯ ತೇಷಾಂ ಗಾತ್ರೇಷು ಹಸ್ತೌ ದತ್ತ್ವಾಶಿಷಂ ಬಭಾಷೇ|
17 And as He is going forth into the way, one having run and having kneeled to Him, was questioning Him, “Good Teacher, what may I do that I may inherit continuous life?” (aiōnios )
ಅಥ ಸ ವರ್ತ್ಮನಾ ಯಾತಿ, ಏತರ್ಹಿ ಜನ ಏಕೋ ಧಾವನ್ ಆಗತ್ಯ ತತ್ಸಮ್ಮುಖೇ ಜಾನುನೀ ಪಾತಯಿತ್ವಾ ಪೃಷ್ಟವಾನ್, ಭೋಃ ಪರಮಗುರೋ, ಅನನ್ತಾಯುಃ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಯೇ ಮಯಾ ಕಿಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತವ್ಯಂ? (aiōnios )
18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one [is] good except one—God;
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರುವಾಚ, ಮಾಂ ಪರಮಂ ಕುತೋ ವದಸಿ? ವಿನೇಶ್ವರಂ ಕೋಪಿ ಪರಮೋ ನ ಭವತಿ|
19 you have known the commands: You may not commit adultery, You may not murder, You may not steal, You may not bear false witness, You may not defraud, Honor your father and mother.”
ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಂ ನಾಭಿಗಚ್ಛ; ನರಂ ಮಾ ಘಾತಯ; ಸ್ತೇಯಂ ಮಾ ಕುರು; ಮೃಷಾಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಂ ಮಾ ದೇಹಿ; ಹಿಂಸಾಞ್ಚ ಮಾ ಕುರು; ಪಿತರೌ ಸಮ್ಮನ್ಯಸ್ವ; ನಿದೇಶಾ ಏತೇ ತ್ವಯಾ ಜ್ಞಾತಾಃ|
20 And he answering said to Him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.”
ತತಸ್ತನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುಕ್ತಂ, ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ಬಾಲ್ಯಕಾಲಾದಹಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವಾನೇತಾನ್ ಆಚರಾಮಿ|
21 And Jesus having looked on him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: go away, whatever you have—sell, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven, and come, follow Me, having taken up the cross.”
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಂ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಸ್ನೇಹೇನ ಬಭಾಷೇ, ತವೈಕಸ್ಯಾಭಾವ ಆಸ್ತೇ; ತ್ವಂ ಗತ್ವಾ ಸರ್ವ್ವಸ್ವಂ ವಿಕ್ರೀಯ ದರಿದ್ರೇಭ್ಯೋ ವಿಶ್ರಾಣಯ, ತತಃ ಸ್ವರ್ಗೇ ಧನಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಸ್ಯಸಿ; ತತಃ ಪರಮ್ ಏತ್ಯ ಕ್ರುಶಂ ವಹನ್ ಮದನುವರ್ತ್ತೀ ಭವ|
22 And he—gloomy at the word—went away sorrowing, for he was having many possessions.
ಕಿನ್ತು ತಸ್ಯ ಬಹುಸಮ್ಪದ್ವಿದ್ಯಮಾನತ್ವಾತ್ ಸ ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಮಾಕರ್ಣ್ಯ ವಿಷಣೋ ದುಃಖಿತಶ್ಚ ಸನ್ ಜಗಾಮ|
23 And Jesus having looked around, says to His disciples, “How hardly will they who have riches enter into the Kingdom of God!”
ಅಥ ಯೀಶುಶ್ಚತುರ್ದಿಶೋ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾನ್ ಅವಾದೀತ್, ಧನಿಲೋಕಾನಾಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರರಾಜ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಃ ಕೀದೃಗ್ ದುಷ್ಕರಃ|
24 And the disciples were astonished at His words, and Jesus again answering says to them, “Children, how hard it is to those trusting on riches to enter into the Kingdom of God!
ತಸ್ಯ ಕಥಾತಃ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾಶ್ಚಮಚ್ಚಕ್ರುಃ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ಪುನರವದತ್, ಹೇ ಬಾಲಕಾ ಯೇ ಧನೇ ವಿಶ್ವಸನ್ತಿ ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಈಶ್ವರರಾಜ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಃ ಕೀದೃಗ್ ದುಷ್ಕರಃ|
25 It is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of the needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.”
ಈಶ್ವರರಾಜ್ಯೇ ಧನಿನಾಂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತ್ ಸೂಚಿರನ್ಧ್ರೇಣ ಮಹಾಙ್ಗಸ್ಯ ಗಮನಾಗಮನಂ ಸುಕರಂ|
26 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying to themselves, “And who is able to be saved?”
ತದಾ ಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಅತೀವ ವಿಸ್ಮಿತಾಃ ಪರಸ್ಪರಂ ಪ್ರೋಚುಃ, ತರ್ಹಿ ಕಃ ಪರಿತ್ರಾಣಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತುಂ ಶಕ್ನೋತಿ?
27 And Jesus, having looked on them, says, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ವಿಲೋಕ್ಯ ಬಭಾಷೇ, ತನ್ ನರಸ್ಯಾಸಾಧ್ಯಂ ಕಿನ್ತು ನೇಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ, ಯತೋ ಹೇತೋರೀಶ್ವರಸ್ಯ ಸರ್ವ್ವಂ ಸಾಧ್ಯಮ್|
28 And Peter began to say to Him, “Behold, we left all, and we followed You.”
ತದಾ ಪಿತರ ಉವಾಚ, ಪಶ್ಯ ವಯಂ ಸರ್ವ್ವಂ ಪರಿತ್ಯಜ್ಯ ಭವತೋನುಗಾಮಿನೋ ಜಾತಾಃ|
29 And Jesus answering said, “Truly I say to you, there is no one who left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or fields, for My sake, and for the good news’,
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯವದತ್, ಯುಷ್ಮಾನಹಂ ಯಥಾರ್ಥಂ ವದಾಮಿ, ಮದರ್ಥಂ ಸುಸಂವಾದಾರ್ಥಂ ವಾ ಯೋ ಜನಃ ಸದನಂ ಭ್ರಾತರಂ ಭಗಿನೀಂ ಪಿತರಂ ಮಾತರಂ ಜಾಯಾಂ ಸನ್ತಾನಾನ್ ಭೂಮಿ ವಾ ತ್ಯಕ್ತ್ವಾ
30 who may not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brothers, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and fields, with persecutions, and in the age that is coming, continuous life; (aiōn , aiōnios )
ಗೃಹಭ್ರಾತೃಭಗಿನೀಪಿತೃಮಾತೃಪತ್ನೀಸನ್ತಾನಭೂಮೀನಾಮಿಹ ಶತಗುಣಾನ್ ಪ್ರೇತ್ಯಾನನ್ತಾಯುಶ್ಚ ನ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ನೋತಿ ತಾದೃಶಃ ಕೋಪಿ ನಾಸ್ತಿ| (aiōn , aiōnios )
31 and many first will be last, and the last first.”
ಕಿನ್ತ್ವಗ್ರೀಯಾ ಅನೇಕೇ ಲೋಕಾಃ ಶೇಷಾಃ, ಶೇಷೀಯಾ ಅನೇಕೇ ಲೋಕಾಶ್ಚಾಗ್ರಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them, and they were amazed, and following they were afraid. And having again taken the Twelve, He began to tell them the things about to happen to Him:
ಅಥ ಯಿರೂಶಾಲಮ್ಯಾನಕಾಲೇ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಅಗ್ರಗಾಮೀ ಬಭೂವ, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ತೇ ಚಿತ್ರಂ ಜ್ಞಾತ್ವಾ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ಗಾಮಿನೋ ಭೂತ್ವಾ ಬಿಭ್ಯುಃ| ತದಾ ಸ ಪುನ ರ್ದ್ವಾದಶಶಿಷ್ಯಾನ್ ಗೃಹೀತ್ವಾ ಸ್ವೀಯಂ ಯದ್ಯದ್ ಘಟಿಷ್ಯತೇ ತತ್ತತ್ ತೇಭ್ಯಃ ಕಥಯಿತುಂ ಪ್ರಾರೇಭೇ;
33 “Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will deliver Him to the nations,
ಪಶ್ಯತ ವಯಂ ಯಿರೂಶಾಲಮ್ಪುರಂ ಯಾಮಃ, ತತ್ರ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಃ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕಾನಾಮ್ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಾನಾಞ್ಚ ಕರೇಷು ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯತೇ; ತೇ ಚ ವಧದಣ್ಡಾಜ್ಞಾಂ ದಾಪಯಿತ್ವಾ ಪರದೇಶೀಯಾನಾಂ ಕರೇಷು ತಂ ಸಮರ್ಪಯಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ|
34 and they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him, and the third day He will rise again.”
ತೇ ತಮುಪಹಸ್ಯ ಕಶಯಾ ಪ್ರಹೃತ್ಯ ತದ್ವಪುಷಿ ನಿಷ್ಠೀವಂ ನಿಕ್ಷಿಪ್ಯ ತಂ ಹನಿಷ್ಯನ್ತಿ, ತತಃ ಸ ತೃತೀಯದಿನೇ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಸ್ಯತಿ|
35 And there come near to Him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying, “Teacher, we wish that whatever we may ask for ourselves, You may do for us”;
ತತಃ ಸಿವದೇಃ ಪುತ್ರೌ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ಯೋಹನೌ ತದನ್ತಿಕಮ್ ಏತ್ಯ ಪ್ರೋಚತುಃ, ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ಯದ್ ಆವಾಭ್ಯಾಂ ಯಾಚಿಷ್ಯತೇ ತದಸ್ಮದರ್ಥಂ ಭವಾನ್ ಕರೋತು ನಿವೇದನಮಿದಮಾವಯೋಃ|
36 and He said to them, “What do you wish Me to do for you?”
ತತಃ ಸ ಕಥಿತವಾನ್, ಯುವಾಂ ಕಿಮಿಚ್ಛಥಃ? ಕಿಂ ಮಯಾ ಯುಷ್ಮದರ್ಥಂ ಕರಣೀಯಂ?
37 And they said to Him, “Grant to us that, one on Your right hand and one on Your left, we may sit in Your glory”;
ತದಾ ತೌ ಪ್ರೋಚತುಃ, ಆವಯೋರೇಕಂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಪಾರ್ಶ್ವೇ ವಾಮಪಾರ್ಶ್ವೇ ಚೈಕಂ ತವೈಶ್ವರ್ಯ್ಯಪದೇ ಸಮುಪವೇಷ್ಟುಮ್ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಯ|
38 and Jesus said to them, “You have not known what you ask; are you able to drink of the cup that I drink of, and with the immersion that I am immersed with—to be immersed?”
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಶುಃ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುವಾಚ ಯುವಾಮಜ್ಞಾತ್ವೇದಂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಯೇಥೇ, ಯೇನ ಕಂಸೇನಾಹಂ ಪಾಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ತೇನ ಯುವಾಭ್ಯಾಂ ಕಿಂ ಪಾತುಂ ಶಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ? ಯಸ್ಮಿನ್ ಮಜ್ಜನೇನಾಹಂ ಮಜ್ಜಿಷ್ಯೇ ತನ್ಮಜ್ಜನೇ ಮಜ್ಜಯಿತುಂ ಕಿಂ ಯುವಾಭ್ಯಾಂ ಶಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ? ತೌ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೂಚತುಃ ಶಕ್ಷ್ಯತೇ|
39 And they said to Him, “We are able”; and Jesus said to them, “Of the cup indeed that I drink of, you will drink, and with the immersion that I am immersed with, you will be immersed;
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುರವದತ್ ಯೇನ ಕಂಸೇನಾಹಂ ಪಾಸ್ಯಾಮಿ ತೇನಾವಶ್ಯಂ ಯುವಾಮಪಿ ಪಾಸ್ಯಥಃ, ಯೇನ ಮಜ್ಜನೇನ ಚಾಹಂ ಮಜ್ಜಿಯ್ಯೇ ತತ್ರ ಯುವಾಮಪಿ ಮಜ್ಜಿಷ್ಯೇಥೇ|
40 but to sit on My right and on My left is not Mine to give, but—to those for whom it has been prepared.”
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೇಷಾಮರ್ಥಮ್ ಇದಂ ನಿರೂಪಿತಂ, ತಾನ್ ವಿಹಾಯಾನ್ಯಂ ಕಮಪಿ ಮಮ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಪಾರ್ಶ್ವೇ ವಾಮಪಾರ್ಶ್ವೇ ವಾ ಸಮುಪವೇಶಯಿತುಂ ಮಮಾಧಿಕಾರೋ ನಾಸ್ತಿ|
41 And the ten having heard, began to be much displeased at James and John,
ಅಥಾನ್ಯದಶಶಿಷ್ಯಾ ಇಮಾಂ ಕಥಾಂ ಶ್ರುತ್ವಾ ಯಾಕೂಬ್ಯೋಹನ್ಭ್ಯಾಂ ಚುಕುಪುಃ|
42 but Jesus having called them near, says to them, “You have known that they who are considered to rule the nations exercise lordship over them, and their great ones exercise authority on them;
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಾನ್ ಸಮಾಹೂಯ ಬಭಾಷೇ, ಅನ್ಯದೇಶೀಯಾನಾಂ ರಾಜತ್ವಂ ಯೇ ಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ತಿ ತೇ ತೇಷಾಮೇವ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಂ ಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ತಿ, ತಥಾ ಯೇ ಮಹಾಲೋಕಾಸ್ತೇ ತೇಷಾಮ್ ಅಧಿಪತಿತ್ವಂ ಕುರ್ವ್ವನ್ತೀತಿ ಯೂಯಂ ಜಾನೀಥ|
43 but not so will it be among you; but whoever may will to become great among you, he will be your minister,
ಕಿನ್ತು ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ನ ತಥಾ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ, ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಮಧ್ಯೇ ಯಃ ಪ್ರಾಧಾನ್ಯಂ ವಾಞ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಸೇವಕೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ,
44 and whoever of you may will to become first, he will be servant of all;
ಯುಷ್ಮಾಕಂ ಯೋ ಮಹಾನ್ ಭವಿತುಮಿಚ್ಛತಿ ಸ ಸರ್ವ್ವೇಷಾಂ ಕಿಙ್ಕರೋ ಭವಿಷ್ಯತಿ|
45 for even the Son of Man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and to give His life [as] a ransom for many.”
ಯತೋ ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರಃ ಸೇವ್ಯೋ ಭವಿತುಂ ನಾಗತಃ ಸೇವಾಂ ಕರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ತಥಾನೇಕೇಷಾಂ ಪರಿತ್ರಾಣಸ್ಯ ಮೂಲ್ಯರೂಪಸ್ವಪ್ರಾಣಂ ದಾತುಞ್ಚಾಗತಃ|
46 And they come to Jericho, and as He is going forth from Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, a son of Timaeus—Bartimaeus the blind—was sitting beside the way begging,
ಅಥ ತೇ ಯಿರೀಹೋನಗರಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಾಸ್ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ಶಿಷ್ಯೈ ರ್ಲೋಕೈಶ್ಚ ಸಹ ಯೀಶೋ ರ್ಗಮನಕಾಲೇ ಟೀಮಯಸ್ಯ ಪುತ್ರೋ ಬರ್ಟೀಮಯನಾಮಾ ಅನ್ಧಸ್ತನ್ಮಾರ್ಗಪಾರ್ಶ್ವೇ ಭಿಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥಮ್ ಉಪವಿಷ್ಟಃ|
47 and having heard that it is Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and to say, “The Son of David—Jesus! Deal kindly with me”;
ಸ ನಾಸರತೀಯಸ್ಯ ಯೀಶೋರಾಗಮನವಾರ್ತ್ತಾಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಪ್ರೋಚೈ ರ್ವಕ್ತುಮಾರೇಭೇ, ಹೇ ಯೀಶೋ ದಾಯೂದಃ ಸನ್ತಾನ ಮಾಂ ದಯಸ್ವ|
48 and many were rebuking him that he might keep silent, but the more abundantly he cried out, “Son of David, deal kindly with me.”
ತತೋನೇಕೇ ಲೋಕಾ ಮೌನೀಭವೇತಿ ತಂ ತರ್ಜಯಾಮಾಸುಃ, ಕಿನ್ತು ಸ ಪುನರಧಿಕಮುಚ್ಚೈ ರ್ಜಗಾದ, ಹೇ ಯೀಶೋ ದಾಯೂದಃ ಸನ್ತಾನ ಮಾಂ ದಯಸ್ವ|
49 And Jesus having stood, He commanded him to be called, and they call the blind man, saying to him, “Take courage, rise, He calls you”;
ತದಾ ಯೀಶುಃ ಸ್ಥಿತ್ವಾ ತಮಾಹ್ವಾತುಂ ಸಮಾದಿದೇಶ, ತತೋ ಲೋಕಾಸ್ತಮನ್ಧಮಾಹೂಯ ಬಭಾಷಿರೇ, ಹೇ ನರ, ಸ್ಥಿರೋ ಭವ, ಉತ್ತಿಷ್ಠ, ಸ ತ್ವಾಮಾಹ್ವಯತಿ|
50 and he, having cast away his garment, having risen, came to Jesus.
ತದಾ ಸ ಉತ್ತರೀಯವಸ್ತ್ರಂ ನಿಕ್ಷಿಪ್ಯ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಥಾಯ ಯೀಶೋಃ ಸಮೀಪಂ ಗತಃ|
51 And answering, Jesus says to him, “What do you will I may do to you?” And the blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may see again”;
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಮವದತ್ ತ್ವಯಾ ಕಿಂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥ್ಯತೇ? ತುಭ್ಯಮಹಂ ಕಿಂ ಕರಿಷ್ಯಾಮೀ? ತದಾ ಸೋನ್ಧಸ್ತಮುವಾಚ, ಹೇ ಗುರೋ ಮದೀಯಾ ದೃಷ್ಟಿರ್ಭವೇತ್|
52 and Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has saved you”: and immediately he saw again, and was following Jesus in the way.
ತತೋ ಯೀಶುಸ್ತಮುವಾಚ ಯಾಹಿ ತವ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಸ್ತ್ವಾಂ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಕಾರ್ಷೀತ್, ತಸ್ಮಾತ್ ತತ್ಕ್ಷಣಂ ಸ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಂ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ಯ ಪಥಾ ಯೀಶೋಃ ಪಶ್ಚಾದ್ ಯಯೌ|
