9 And having heard these things Jesus wondered at him, and having turned to the multitude following Him, He said, “I say to you, not even in Israel did I find so much faith”;
Yesu akakangasa paayuwini genago, akaung'anamukila msambi wa vandu wewamlandali, akavajovela, “Niloli lepi sadika yivaha ngati iyi hati pagati ya vandu va Isilaeli!”
10 and those sent, having turned back to the house, found the ailing servant in health.

Kangi Yesu akahamba na kupamisa lusongwani chavagegili mtuhi na vavagegili vala vakayima. Akajova, “Wamsongolo veve! Nijova yimuka!”
15 and the dead sat up, and began to speak, and He gave him to his mother;
Mweafwi yula akayima akatumbula kulongela. Yesu akampela mau yula mwana waki.
16 and fear took hold of all, and they were glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has risen among us,” and, “God looked on His people.”
Ndi vandu voha vakavya na wogohi, vakatumbula kumulumbalila Chapanga. Vakajova, “Mlota mkulu wa Chapanga atihumali pagati yitu, Chapanga abwelili kuvatangila vandu vaki.”
17 And the account of this went forth in all Judea about Him, and in all the region around.
Mambu genago gakadandasika pamulima woha wa Yudea na milima yoha yeyavi papipi.
18 And the disciples of John told him about all these things,
Vawuliwa vaki Yohani pevamjovili mambu goha. Ndi akavakemela vawuliwa vavili,

20 And having come near to Him, the men said, “John the Immerser sent us to You, saying, Are You He who is coming, or do we look for another?”
Pavahikili kwa Yesu, vakamjovela, “Yohani Mbatizaji atitumili tikukotayi, ngati veve ndi msangula mweibwela, amala timlindila yungi.”
21 And in that hour He cured many from diseases, and plagues, and evil spirits, and He granted sight to many blind.

22 And Jesus answering said to them, “Having gone on, report to John what you saw and heard, that blind men see again, lame walk, lepers are cleansed, deaf hear, dead are raised, poor have good news proclaimed;
Ndi akavajovela muhamba mukamjovela Yohani goha gemugaweni na kuyuwana. Vangalola vilola, vangagenda vigenda, vanamabudi vinyambiswa, vangayuwa viyuwana, vavafwili vihyukiswa, na vangangu vikokosewa Lilovi la Bwina.
23 and blessed is he whoever may not be stumbled in Me.”
Ahekayi mundu yula mweangayoma ndava ya nene!
24 And the messengers of John having gone away, He began to say to the multitudes concerning John: “What have you gone forth into the wilderness to look on? A reed shaken by the wind?

25 But what have you gone forth to see? A man clothed in soft garments? Behold, they in splendid clothing, and living in luxury, are in the houses of kings!
Hinu, mwahambili kulola kiki? Mundu mwaawali nyula za nyililili? Vandu veviwala chakujinyambisa na kutama wumi wabwina, venavo vavi munyumba za vankosi.
26 But what have you gone forth to see? A prophet? Yes, I say to you, and much more than a prophet:

27 this is he concerning whom it has been written: Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, who will prepare Your way before You;

28 for I say to you, there is not a greater prophet, among those born of women, than John the Immerser; but the least in the Kingdom of God is greater than he.”
Yesu akamalakisila kujova,” “Kawaka mundu, mweavelikiwi na mdala mkulu kuliku Yohani Mbatizaji. Nambu mweavi mdebe muunkosi wa Chapanga, mwenuyo ndi mkulu kuliku mwene.”
29 And all the people having heard, and the tax collectors, declared God righteous, having been immersed with the immersion of John,

32 They are like to children, to those sitting in a marketplace, and calling to one another, and saying, We piped to you, and you did not dance, we mourned to you, and you did not weep!
Vavi ngati vana vevatamii pandu pakugulisila vindu vikemelana, chikundi chimonga na chiyaki, ‘Tivabetili chitolilo nambu nyenye mwanga kina! Tivayimbili nyimbu za malilu nambu muvembi lepi!’
33 For John the Immerser came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, He has a demon;

34 the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and you say, Behold, a man, a glutton, and a wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and sinners;

Akayima papipi na magendelu ga Yesu kuni avembayi, na maholi gaki gamudonyokela Yesu mumagendelu, akahungula magendelu ga Yesu na mayunju gaki, akagabusu magendelu gala na kunyala mahuta genago.
39 And the Pharisee who called Him, having seen, spoke within himself, saying, “This One, if He were a prophet, would have known who and of what kind [is] the woman who touches Him, that she is a sinner.”
Mfalisayu mweamugongolili Yesu pealoli genago akaholalela mumtima waki, “Mwe mundu uyu ngaavi chakaka mlota wa Chapanga, ngaammanyi mdala mweampamisi, kuvya mweakumbudila Chapanga!”
40 And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you”; and he says, “Teacher, say on.”
Yesu akamjovela mfalisayu yula. “Simoni, chivii chindu chenigana kukujovela.” Simoni, akamyangula, “Ena muwula, jovayi.”
41 “Two debtors were to a certain creditor; one was owing five hundred denarii, and the other fifty;

42 and they not having [with which] to give back, he forgave both; which of them then, do you say, will love him more?”
Voha vavili vavilepi na mashonga ga kuwuyisa, mundu yula avahulumili voha. Hinu yani mweakumugana neju bambu yula?”
43 And Simon answering said, “I suppose that to whom he forgave the more”; and He said to him, “You judged correctly.”
Simoni akamyangula, “Chakaka mweahulumiwi mashonga ga mahele yula alamugana neju bambu yula.” Yesu akamjovela, “Uhamwili chabwina.”
44 And having turned to the woman, He said to Simon, “See this woman? I entered into your house; you did not give water for My feet, but this woman wet My feet with tears, and wiped with the hairs of her head;
Kangi akamng'anamukila mdala yula na akamjovela Simoni, “Umlola mdala uyu? Penikayingili munyumba yaku unipeli lepi manji gakusamba mumagendelu gangu, nambu mdala uyu anitepatisi magendelu gangu na maholi gaki na kuhungula na mayunju gaki.

47 therefore I say to you, her many sins have been forgiven, because she loved much; but to whom is forgiven little, loves little.”
Nikukujovela, alekekisiwi kumbudila Chapanga pamahele ndava muni alangisi uganu uvaha. Nambu mundu mwealekekiswi kumbudila Chapanga padebe ilangisa uganu udebe.”
48 And He said to her, “Your sins have been forgiven”;

49 and those dining with Him began to say within themselves, “Who is this, who also forgives sins?”
Vandu vala vavatamili na Yesu pakulya pala, vakatumbula kukotana, “Mundu uyu ndi yani? Hati ihotola kulekekesa vandu vevakumbudila Chapanga?”
50 And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you, be going on to peace.”
Ndi Yesu akamjovela mdala yula, “Kusadika kwaku kukulamisi, uhamba na uteke.”
