< Luke 6 >
1 And it came to pass, on a Sabbath, as He is going through the grainfields, that His disciples were plucking the ears, and were eating, rubbing with the hands,
ⲁ̅ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲒⲚⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲞϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ϤⲰϪⲒ ⲚⲚⲒϦⲈⲘⲤ ⲈⲨⲤⲀϨⲤⲀϨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϪⲒϪ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲰⲘ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ
2 and certain of the Pharisees said to them, “Why do you do that which is not lawful to do on the Sabbaths?”
ⲃ̅ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲈⲞⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲤⲈⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲀⲒϤ ⲀⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ.
3 And Jesus answering said to them, “Did you not read even this that David did when he hungered, himself and those who are with him,
ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞϢϤ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲆⲀⲨⲒⲆ ⲀⲒϤ ϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲈⲦⲀϤϨⲔⲞ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ
4 how he went into the house of God, and took the Bread of the Presentation, and ate, and gave also to those with him, which it is not lawful to eat, except only to the priests?”
ⲇ̅ⲠⲰⲤ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲠⲎⲒ ⲘⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲒⲰⲒⲔ ⲚⲦⲈϮⲠⲢⲞⲐⲈⲤⲒⲤ ⲀϤϬⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲞⲨⲞⲘⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϮ ⲚⲚⲒⲔⲈⲬⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒ ⲈⲐⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤϢⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲎⲖ ⲈⲚⲒⲞⲨⲎⲂ ⲘⲘⲀⲨⲀⲦⲞⲨ.
5 And He said to them, “The Son of Man is Lord also of the Sabbath.”
ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲘⲠⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
6 And it came to pass also, on another Sabbath, that He goes into the synagogue, and teaches, and there was there a man, and his right hand was withered,
ⲋ̅ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲔⲈⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲦⲈϤϪⲒϪ ⲚⲞⲨⲒⲚⲀⲘ ϢⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ.
7 and the scribes and the Pharisees were watching Him, if on the Sabbath He will heal, that they might find an accusation against Him.
ⲍ̅ⲚⲀⲨϮⲚⲒⲀⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲤⲀϦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲪⲀⲢⲒⲤⲈⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ϤⲚⲀⲈⲢⲪⲀϦⲢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϪⲈⲘ ⲔⲀⲦⲎⲄⲞⲢⲒⲀ ϦⲀⲢⲞϤ
8 And He Himself had known their reasonings and said to the man having the withered hand, “Rise, and stand in the midst”; and he having risen, stood.
ⲏ̅ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲈⲘⲒ ⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲞⲔⲘⲈⲔ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲦⲈϤϪⲒϪ ϢⲞⲨⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲰⲚⲔ ⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦⲔ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲘⲎϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲀϤⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦϤ.
9 Then Jesus said to them, “I will question you something: is it lawful on the Sabbaths to do good, or to do evil? To save life or to kill?”
ⲑ̅ⲠⲈϪⲈ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ϮϢⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚ ⲤϢⲈ ⲚⲈⲢ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲤⲀⲂⲂⲀⲦⲞⲚ ϢⲀⲚ ⲈⲈⲢ ⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲈⲚⲀϨⲘⲈⲤ ϢⲀⲚ ⲈⲦⲀⲔⲞⲤ.
10 And having looked around on them all, He said to the man, “Stretch forth your hand”; and he did so, and his hand was restored whole as the other;
ⲓ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲤⲞⲨⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲔϪⲒϪ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲀϤⲤⲞⲨⲦⲰⲚⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲤⲞⲨϪⲀⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲦⲈϤϪⲒϪ.
11 and they were filled with madness, and were speaking with one another what they might do to Jesus.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲚⲐⲰⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲨⲘⲞϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲀⲦⲔⲀϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲢⲎⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲞⲨⲚⲀⲀⲒϤ ⲚⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ.
12 And it came to pass in those days, He went forth to the mountain to pray, and was passing the night in the prayer of God,
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲀⲤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲀϤⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲈⲢⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬ ⲈⲤⲐⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲞⲒ ⲚϢⲢⲰⲒⲤ ϦⲈⲚϮⲠⲢⲞⲤⲈⲨⲬⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
13 and when it became day, He called near His disciples, also having chosen twelve from them, whom He also named apostles:
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲀϤⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲤⲰⲦⲠ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲘⲒⲂ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϮⲢⲈⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ.
14 Simon, whom He also named Peter, and his brother Andrew, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲀⲚⲆⲢⲈⲀⲤ ⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲰⲀⲚⲚⲎⲤ ⲪⲒⲖⲒⲠⲠⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲂⲀⲢⲐⲞⲖⲞⲘⲈⲞⲤ.
15 Matthew and Thomas, James of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zealot,
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲚⲈⲘ ⲘⲀⲦⲐⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲐⲰⲘⲀⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲀⲖⲪⲈⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲤⲒⲘⲰⲚ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲈϤⲬⲞϨ.
16 Judas of James, and Judas Iscariot, who also became betrayer.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲒⲀⲔⲰⲂⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲤ ⲠⲒⲤⲔⲀⲢⲒⲰⲦⲎⲤ.
17 And having come down with them, He stood on a level spot; and a crowd of His disciples, and a great multitude of the people from all Judea, and Jerusalem, and the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon,
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦϤ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲀⲚⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲔⲈⲘⲎϢ ⲈϤⲞϢ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲒⲞⲨⲆⲈⲀ ⲦⲎⲢⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲒⲈⲢⲞⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϮⲠⲀⲢⲀⲖⲒⲞⲤ ⲦⲨⲢⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲤⲒⲆⲰⲚ
18 who came to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases, [gathered]. And those harassed by unclean spirits [also gathered] and were healed.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀⲨⲒ ⲈⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲦⲀⲖϬⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲞⲨϢⲰⲚⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲚⲀⲨⲦϨⲈⲘⲔⲞ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲚⲀⲔⲀⲐⲀⲢⲦⲞⲚ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲪⲀϦⲢⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ.
19 And all the multitude were seeking to touch Him, because power was going forth from Him, and He was healing all.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲎϢ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲔⲰϮ ⲚⲤⲀϬⲒ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲚⲀⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀϤⲦⲀⲖϬⲞ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ.
20 And He, having lifted up His eyes to His disciples, said: “Blessed the poor—because yours is the Kingdom of God.
ⲕ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲈⲦⲀϤϤⲀⲒ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲂⲀⲖ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲈⲚⲈϤⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲒϨⲎⲔⲒ ϪⲈ ⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈ ϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
21 Blessed those hungering now—because you will be filled. Blessed those weeping now—because you will laugh.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϨⲞⲔⲈⲢ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲤⲒ ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲢⲒⲘⲒ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲤⲰⲂⲒ.
22 Blessed are you when men will hate you, and when they will separate you, and will reproach, and will cast forth your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake—
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲰⲞⲨⲚⲒⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲘⲈⲤⲦⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲞⲨⲈⲦ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϢⲈϢ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϨⲒ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
23 rejoice in that day, and leap, for behold, your reward [is] great in Heaven, for according to these things were their fathers doing to the prophets.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲢⲀϢⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲐⲈⲖⲎⲖ ϨⲎⲠⲠⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲂⲈⲬⲈ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲠⲈ ⲚϨⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲚⲀⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲞⲨⲒⲞϮ.
24 But woe to you—the rich, because you have gotten your comfort.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲠⲖⲎⲚ ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲒⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ϪⲈ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲔⲎⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϬⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϮϨⲞ.
25 Woe to you who have been filled—because you will hunger. Woe to you who are laughing now—because you will mourn and weep.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲎⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϨⲔⲞ ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲂⲒ ϮⲚⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢϨⲎⲂⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲢⲒⲘⲒ.
26 Woe to you when all men will speak well of you—for according to these things were their fathers doing to false prophets.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲨϢⲀⲚϪⲞⲤ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲞⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲚⲀⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲞⲨⲒⲞϮ.
27 But I say to you who are hearing, love your enemies, do good to those hating you,
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϦⲀ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ϪⲈ ⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲀϪⲒ ⲀⲢⲒ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲞⲤϮ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ.
28 bless those cursing you, pray for those maligning you;
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲤⲘⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲤⲀϨⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϬⲞϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ
29 and to him striking you on the cheek, give also the other, and from him taking away from you the mantle, also the coat you may not keep back.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲀⲒⲞⲨⲞϪⲒ ⲬⲀ ϮⲬⲈϮ ϦⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲰⲖⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲔϨⲂⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲦⲀϨⲚⲞ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲈⲰⲖⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲔⲔⲈϢⲐⲎ Ⲛ.
30 And to everyone who is asking of you, be giving; and from him who is taking away your goods, do not be asking again;
ⲗ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲈⲢⲈⲦⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲘⲞⲒ ⲚⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲈⲖ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲔ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϢⲀⲦϤ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
31 and as you wish that men may do to you, do also to them in like manner;
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲰϢ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲀⲢⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ.
32 and—if you love those loving you, what grace is it to you? For also the sinful love those loving them;
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲒⲤϪⲈ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀϢ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲔⲈ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲀⲨⲘⲈⲒ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
33 and if you do good to those doing good to you, what grace is it to you? For also the sinful do the same;
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲢ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲈⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀϢ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ⲤⲈⲒⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ.
34 and if you lend [to those] of whom you hope to receive back, what grace is it to you? For also the sinful lend to sinners—that they may receive again as much.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲚⲈⲢⲆⲀⲚⲒⲌⲒⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ⲈϬⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲀϢ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲒⲔⲈⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲈⲈⲢⲆⲀⲚⲒⲌⲒⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲢⲈϤⲈⲢⲚⲞⲂⲒ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϬⲒ ⲚⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϢⲈⲂⲒⲰ.
35 But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Highest, because He is kind to the ungracious and evil;
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲠⲖⲎⲚ ⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲀϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲢⲒ ⲠⲈⲐⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲞⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲀⲠⲈⲖⲠⲒⲌⲒⲚ ⲀⲚ ⲚϨⲖⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϤⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲂⲈⲬⲈ ⲈⲚⲀϢⲰϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲦϬⲞⲤⲒ ϪⲈ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ ⲠⲈ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲀⲦϨⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲠⲞⲚⲎⲢⲞⲤ.
36 be therefore merciful, as also your Father is merciful.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞⲒ ⲚⲚⲀⲎⲦ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲒⲰⲦ ⲈϤⲞⲒ ⲚⲚⲀⲎⲦ.
37 And do not judge, and you may not be judged; do not condemn, and you may not be condemned; release, and you will be released.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲘⲠⲈⲢϮϨⲀⲠ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϮϨⲀⲠ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲠϨⲀⲠ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϨⲒ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲠϨⲀⲠ ⲀⲚ ⲬⲰ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨⲬⲰ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ
38 Give, and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed, and shaken, and running over, they will give into your bosom; for with that measure with which you measure, it will be measured to you again.”
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲘⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϮ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲞⲨϢⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲈϤⲘⲈϨ ⲈϤϨⲈⲚϨⲰⲚ ⲈϤⲪⲈⲚⲪⲰⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲈⲔⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲠⲒϢⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀϢⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀⲨⲚⲀϢⲒ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
39 And He spoke an allegory to them, “Is blind able to lead blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲀϤϪⲈ ⲔⲈⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲘⲎⲦⲒ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲞⲨⲂⲈⲖⲖⲈ ⲈϬⲒⲘⲰⲒⲦ ϦⲀϪⲰϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲂⲈⲖⲖⲈ ⲘⲎ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϨⲈⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϢⲒⲔ ⲘⲠⲂ.
40 A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone perfected will be as his teacher.
ⲙ̅ⲘⲎ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲀⲐⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲈϤⲞⲨⲞⲦ ⲈⲠⲈϤⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈϤⲤⲈⲂⲦⲰⲦ ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ.
41 And why do you behold the speck that is in your brother’s eye, and do not consider the beam that [is] in your own eye?
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲬⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠⲒϪⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲂⲀⲖ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲤⲞⲚ ⲠⲒⲤⲞⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈⲔⲂⲀⲖ ⲚⲔϮⲚⲒⲀⲦⲔ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲀⲚ.
42 Or how are you able to say to your brother, Brother, permit, I may take out the speck that [is] in your eye—yourself not beholding the beam in your own eye? Hypocrite, first take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that [is] in your brother’s eye.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲒⲈ ⲠⲰⲤ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϢϪⲞⲘ ⲘⲘⲞⲔ ⲈϪⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲤⲞⲚ ϪⲈ ⲠⲀⲤⲞⲚ ⲬⲀⲦ ⲚⲦⲀϨⲒ ⲠⲒϪⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔⲂⲀⲖ ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ϨⲰⲔ ⲬⲚⲀⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲈⲠⲒⲤⲞⲒ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲠⲈⲔⲂⲀⲖ ⲠⲒϢⲞⲂⲒ ϨⲒ ⲠⲒⲤⲞⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲔⲂⲀⲖ ⲚϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲈⲔⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲘⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϨⲒ ⲠⲒϪⲎⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲂⲀⲖ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲤⲞⲚ.
43 For there is not a good tree making bad fruit, nor a bad tree making good fruit;
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲞⲨϢϢⲎⲚ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲈϤϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲀⲖⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲞⲚ ⲞⲨϢϢⲎⲚ ⲈϤϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈϤ.
44 for each tree is known from its own fruit, for they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they crop a grape from a bramble.
ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲒⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲚⲚⲒϢϢⲎⲚ ⲈϢⲀⲨⲤⲞⲨⲰⲚϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈϤⲞⲨⲦⲀϨ ⲞⲨ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲠⲀⲨⲤⲈⲔ ⲔⲈⲚⲦⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲤⲞⲨⲢⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲀⲨϬⲈⲖ ⲀⲖⲞⲖⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒ ⲞⲨⲂⲀⲦⲞⲤ.
45 The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which [is] evil; for out of the abounding of the heart his mouth speaks.
ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ⲠⲒⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲤ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲀϨⲞ ⲚⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲈⲠⲈϤϨⲎⲦ ϢⲀϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲀⲄⲀⲐⲞⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲒⲤⲀⲘⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲀϨⲞ ⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ϢⲀϤⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲠⲈⲦϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲘⲠϨⲎⲦ ϢⲀⲢⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲰϤ ⲤⲀϪⲒ.
46 And why do you call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say?
ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ⲈⲐⲂⲈⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞⲒ ϪⲈ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
47 Everyone who is coming to Me, and is hearing My words, and is doing them, I will show you to whom he is like:
ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲒ ϨⲀⲢⲞⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ϮⲚⲀⲦⲀⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲀϤⲦⲈⲚⲐⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲚⲒⲘ.
48 he is like to a man building a house, who dug and deepened, and laid a foundation on the rock, and a flood having come, the stream broke forth on that house, and was not able to shake it, for it had been founded on the rock.
ⲙ̅ⲏ̅ⲀⲦⲈⲚⲐⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϤⲔⲰⲦ ⲚⲞⲨⲎⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤϪⲰϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲰⲔⲒ ⲈϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤⲬⲰ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲈⲚϮ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ϮⲠⲈⲦⲢⲀ ⲈⲦⲀⲨϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲘⲞⲨⲚϨⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲞϢ ⲀϤⲔⲰⲖϨ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲀⲢⲞ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲒⲎⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲘⲠⲈϤϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲔⲒⲘ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈϪⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲔⲎⲦ ⲚⲔⲀⲖⲰⲤ.
49 And he who heard and did not, is like to a man having built a house on the earth, without a foundation, against which the stream broke forth, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house became great.”
ⲙ̅ⲑ̅ⲪⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈϤϢⲦⲈⲘⲀⲒⲦⲞⲨ ⲀϤⲦⲈⲚⲐⲰⲚⲦ ⲈⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲀϤⲔⲰⲦ ⲚⲞⲨⲎⲒ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲬⲰⲢⲒⲤ ⲤⲈⲚϮ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲀ ⲠⲒⲒⲀⲢⲞ ⲔⲰⲖϨ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤϨⲈⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲠϨⲈⲒ ⲘⲠⲒⲎⲒ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ.
