Luke 4
1 And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, turned back from the Jordan, and was brought in the Spirit into the wilderness,
தத: பரம்’ யீஸு²: பவித்ரேணாத்மநா பூர்ண: ஸந் யர்த்³த³நநத்³யா: பராவ்ரு’த்யாத்மநா ப்ராந்தரம்’ நீத: ஸந் சத்வாரிம்’ஸ²த்³தி³நாநி யாவத் ஸை²தாநா பரீக்ஷிதோ(அ)பூ⁴த்,
2 being tempted by the Devil forty days, and He did not eat anything in those days, and they having been ended, He afterward hungered,
கிஞ்ச தாநி ஸர்வ்வதி³நாநி போ⁴ஜநம்’ விநா ஸ்தி²தத்வாத் காலே பூர்ணே ஸ க்ஷுதி⁴தவாந்|
3 and the Devil said to Him, “If You are [the] Son of God, speak to this stone that it may become bread.”
தத: ஸை²தாநாக³த்ய தமவத³த் த்வம்’ சேதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ரஸ்தர்ஹி ப்ரஸ்தராநேதாந் ஆஜ்ஞயா பூபாந் குரு|
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, “It has been written, that, Not on bread only will man live, but on every saying of God.”
ததா³ யீஸு²ருவாச, லிபிரீத்³ரு’ஸீ² வித்³யதே மநுஜ: கேவலேந பூபேந ந ஜீவதி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸர்வ்வாபி⁴ராஜ்ஞாபி⁴ ர்ஜீவதி|
5 And the Devil having brought Him up to a high mountain, showed to Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time,
ததா³ ஸை²தாந் தமுச்சம்’ பர்வ்வதம்’ நீத்வா நிமிஷைகமத்⁴யே ஜக³த: ஸர்வ்வராஜ்யாநி த³ர்ஸி²தவாந்|
6 and the Devil said to Him, “To You I will give all this authority, and their glory, because to me it has been delivered, and to whomsoever I will, I give it;
பஸ்²சாத் தமவாதீ³த் ஸர்வ்வம் ஏதத்³ விப⁴வம்’ ப்ரதாபஞ்ச துப்⁴யம்’ தா³ஸ்யாமி தந் மயி ஸமர்பிதமாஸ்தே யம்’ ப்ரதி மமேச்சா² ஜாயதே தஸ்மை தா³தும்’ ஸ²க்நோமி,
7 You, then, if You may worship me—all will be Yours.”
த்வம்’ சேந்மாம்’ ப⁴ஜஸே தர்ஹி ஸர்வ்வமேதத் தவைவ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
8 And Jesus answering him said, “[[Get behind Me, Satan, for]] it has been written: You will worship the LORD your God, and Him only you will serve.”
ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தம்’ ப்ரத்யுக்தவாந் தூ³ரீ ப⁴வ ஸை²தாந் லிபிராஸ்தே, நிஜம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ பரமேஸ்²வரம்’ ப⁴ஜஸ்வ கேவலம்’ தமேவ ஸேவஸ்வ ச|
9 And he brought Him to Jerusalem, and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here,
அத² ஸை²தாந் தம்’ யிரூஸா²லமம்’ நீத்வா மந்தி³ரஸ்ய சூடா³யா உபரி ஸமுபவேஸ்²ய ஜகா³த³ த்வம்’ சேதீ³ஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ரஸ்தர்ஹி ஸ்தா²நாதி³தோ லம்பி²த்வாத⁴:
10 for it has been written: To His messengers He will give charge concerning you, to guard over you;
பத யதோ லிபிராஸ்தே, ஆஜ்ஞாபயிஷ்யதி ஸ்வீயாந் தூ³தாந் ஸ பரமேஸ்²வர: |
11 and: On hands they will bear you up, lest at any time you may dash your foot against a stone.”
ரக்ஷிதும்’ ஸர்வ்வமார்கே³ த்வாம்’ தேந த்வச்சரணே யதா²| ந லகே³த் ப்ரஸ்தராகா⁴தஸ்த்வாம்’ த⁴ரிஷ்யந்தி தே ததா²|
12 And Jesus answering said to him, “It has been said, You will not tempt the LORD your God.”
ததா³ யீஸு²நா ப்ரத்யுக்தம் இத³மப்யுக்தமஸ்தி த்வம்’ ஸ்வப்ரபு⁴ம்’ பரேஸ²ம்’ மா பரீக்ஷஸ்வ|
13 And having ended all temptation, the Devil departed from Him until a convenient season.
பஸ்²சாத் ஸை²தாந் ஸர்வ்வபரீக்ஷாம்’ ஸமாப்ய க்ஷணாத்தம்’ த்யக்த்வா யயௌ|
14 And Jesus turned back in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a fame went forth through all the surrounding region concerning Him,
ததா³ யீஸு²ராத்மப்ரபா⁴வாத் புநர்கா³லீல்ப்ரதே³ஸ²ம்’ க³தஸ்ததா³ தத்ஸுக்²யாதிஸ்²சதுர்தி³ஸ²ம்’ வ்யாநஸே²|
15 and He was teaching in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
ஸ தேஷாம்’ ப⁴ஜநக்³ரு’ஹேஷு உபதி³ஸ்²ய ஸர்வ்வை: ப்ரஸ²ம்’ஸிதோ ப³பூ⁴வ|
16 And He came to Nazareth, where He has been brought up, and He went in, according to His custom, on the day of the Sabbaths, into the synagogue, and stood up to read;
அத² ஸ ஸ்வபாலநஸ்தா²நம்’ நாஸரத்புரமேத்ய விஸ்²ராமவாரே ஸ்வாசாராத்³ ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய படி²துமுத்தஸ்தௌ²|
17 and there was given over to Him a scroll of Isaiah the prophet, and having unfolded the scroll, He found the place where it has been written:
ததோ யிஸ²யியப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³ந: புஸ்தகே தஸ்ய கரத³த்தே ஸதி ஸ தத் புஸ்தகம்’ விஸ்தார்ய்ய யத்ர வக்ஷ்யமாணாநி வசநாநி ஸந்தி தத் ஸ்தா²நம்’ ப்ராப்ய பபாட²|
18 “The Spirit of the LORD [is] on Me, Because He anointed Me To proclaim good news to the poor, Sent Me to heal the broken of heart, To proclaim to captives deliverance, And to blind receiving of sight, To send the bruised away with deliverance,
ஆத்மா து பரமேஸ²ஸ்ய மதீ³யோபரி வித்³யதே| த³ரித்³ரேஷு ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ வக்தும்’ மாம்’ ஸோபி⁴ஷிக்தவாந்| ப⁴க்³நாந்த: கரணால்லோகாந் ஸுஸ்வஸ்தா²ந் கர்த்துமேவ ச| ப³ந்தீ³க்ரு’தேஷு லோகேஷு முக்தே ர்கோ⁴ஷயிதும்’ வச: | நேத்ராணி தா³துமந்தே⁴ப்⁴யஸ்த்ராதும்’ ப³த்³த⁴ஜநாநபி|
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.”
பரேஸா²நுக்³ரஹே காலம்’ ப்ரசாரயிதுமேவ ச| ஸர்வ்வைதத்கரணார்தா²ய மாமேவ ப்ரஹிணோதி ஸ: ||
20 And having folded the scroll, having given [it] back to the officer, He sat down, and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing on Him.
தத: புஸ்தகம்’ ப³த்³வ்வா பரிசாரகஸ்ய ஹஸ்தே ஸமர்ப்ய சாஸநே ஸமுபவிஷ்ட: , ததோ ப⁴ஜநக்³ரு’ஹே யாவந்தோ லோகா ஆஸந் தே ஸர்வ்வே(அ)நந்யத்³ரு’ஷ்ட்யா தம்’ விலுலோகிரே|
21 And He began to say to them, “Today this writing has been fulfilled in your ears”;
அநந்தரம் அத்³யைதாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி லிகி²தவசநாநி யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே ஸித்³தா⁴நி ஸ இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ தேப்⁴ய: கத²யிதுமாரேபே⁴|
22 and all were bearing testimony to Him, and were wondering at the gracious words that are coming forth out of His mouth, and they said, “Is this not the Son of Joseph?”
தத: ஸர்வ்வே தஸ்மிந் அந்வரஜ்யந்த, கிஞ்ச தஸ்ய முகா²ந்நிர்க³தாபி⁴ரநுக்³ரஹஸ்ய கதா²பி⁴ஸ்²சமத்க்ரு’த்ய கத²யாமாஸு: கிமயம்’ யூஷப²: புத்ரோ ந?
23 And He said to them, “Certainly you will say to Me this allegory, Physician, heal yourself; as great things as we heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country”;
ததா³ ஸோ(அ)வாதீ³த்³ ஹே சிகித்ஸக ஸ்வமேவ ஸ்வஸ்த²ம்’ குரு கப²ர்நாஹூமி யத்³யத் க்ரு’தவாந் தத³ஸ்²ரௌஷ்ம தா: ஸர்வா: க்ரியா அத்ர ஸ்வதே³ஸே² குரு கதா²மேதாம்’ யூயமேவாவஸ்²யம்’ மாம்’ வதி³ஷ்யத²|
24 and He said, “Truly I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own country;
புந: ஸோவாதீ³த்³ யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ யதா²ர்த²ம்’ வதா³மி, கோபி ப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதீ³ ஸ்வதே³ஸே² ஸத்காரம்’ ந ப்ராப்நோதி|
25 and of a truth I say to you, many widows were in the days of Elijah, in Israel, when the sky was shut for three years and six months, when great famine came on all the land,
அபரஞ்ச யதா²ர்த²ம்’ வச்மி, ஏலியஸ்ய ஜீவநகாலே யதா³ ஸார்த்³த⁴த்ரிதயவர்ஷாணி யாவத் ஜலத³ப்ரதிப³ந்தா⁴த் ஸர்வ்வஸ்மிந் தே³ஸே² மஹாது³ர்பி⁴க்ஷம் அஜநிஷ்ட ததா³நீம் இஸ்ராயேலோ தே³ஸ²ஸ்ய மத்⁴யே ப³ஹ்வ்யோ வித⁴வா ஆஸந்,
26 and to none of them was Elijah sent, but—to Sarepta of Sidon, to a woman, a widow;
கிந்து ஸீதோ³ந்ப்ரதே³ஸீ²யஸாரிப²த்புரநிவாஸிநீம் ஏகாம்’ வித⁴வாம்’ விநா கஸ்யாஸ்²சித³பி ஸமீபே ஏலிய: ப்ரேரிதோ நாபூ⁴த்|
27 and many lepers were in the time of Elisha the prophet, in Israel, and none of them was cleansed, but—Naaman the Syrian.”
அபரஞ்ச இலீஸா²யப⁴விஷ்யத்³வாதி³வித்³யமாநதாகாலே இஸ்ராயேல்தே³ஸே² ப³ஹவ: குஷ்டி²ந ஆஸந் கிந்து ஸுரீயதே³ஸீ²யம்’ நாமாந்குஷ்டி²நம்’ விநா கோப்யந்ய: பரிஷ்க்ரு’தோ நாபூ⁴த்|
28 And all in the synagogue were filled with wrath, hearing these things,
இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹஸ்தி²தா லோகா: ஸக்ரோத⁴ம் உத்தா²ய
29 and having risen, they put Him forth outside the city, and brought Him to the brow of the hill on which their city had been built—to cast Him down headlong,
நக³ராத்தம்’ ப³ஹிஷ்க்ரு’த்ய யஸ்ய ஸி²க²ரிண உபரி தேஷாம்’ நக³ரம்’ ஸ்தா²பிதமாஸ்தே தஸ்மாந்நிக்ஷேப்தும்’ தஸ்ய ஸி²க²ரம்’ தம்’ நிந்யு:
30 and He, having gone through the midst of them, went away.
கிந்து ஸ தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யாத³பஸ்ரு’த்ய ஸ்தா²நாந்தரம்’ ஜகா³ம|
31 And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths,
தத: பரம்’ யீஸு²ர்கா³லீல்ப்ரதே³ஸீ²யகப²ர்நாஹூம்நக³ர உபஸ்தா²ய விஸ்²ராமவாரே லோகாநுபதே³ஷ்டும் ஆரப்³த⁴வாந்|
32 and they were astonished at His teaching, because His word was with authority.
தது³பதே³ஸா²த் ஸர்வ்வே சமச்சக்ரு ர்யதஸ்தஸ்ய கதா² கு³ருதரா ஆஸந்|
33 And in the synagogue was a man having a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a great voice,
ததா³நீம்’ தத்³ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹஸ்தி²தோ(அ)மேத்⁴யபூ⁴தக்³ரஸ்த ஏகோ ஜந உச்சை: கத²யாமாஸ,
34 “Aah! What [regards] us and You, Jesus, O Nazarene? You came to destroy us; I have known who You are—the Holy One of God!”
ஹே நாஸரதீயயீஸோ²(அ)ஸ்மாந் த்யஜ, த்வயா ஸஹாஸ்மாகம்’ க: ஸம்ப³ந்த⁴: ? கிமஸ்மாந் விநாஸ²யிதுமாயாஸி? த்வமீஸ்²வரஸ்ய பவித்ரோ ஜந ஏதத³ஹம்’ ஜாநாமி|
35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silenced, and come forth out of him”; and the demon having cast him into the midst, came forth from him, having hurt him nothing;
ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தம்’ தர்ஜயித்வாவத³த் மௌநீ ப⁴வ இதோ ப³ஹிர்ப⁴வ; தத: ஸோமேத்⁴யபூ⁴தஸ்தம்’ மத்⁴யஸ்தா²நே பாதயித்வா கிஞ்சித³ப்யஹிம்’ஸித்வா தஸ்மாத்³ ப³ஹிர்க³தவாந்|
36 and amazement came on all, and they were speaking together with one another, saying, “What [is] this word, that with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come forth?”
தத: ஸர்வ்வே லோகாஸ்²சமத்க்ரு’த்ய பரஸ்பரம்’ வக்துமாரேபி⁴ரே கோயம்’ சமத்கார: | ஏஷ ப்ரபா⁴வேண பராக்ரமேண சாமேத்⁴யபூ⁴தாந் ஆஜ்ஞாபயதி தேநைவ தே ப³ஹிர்க³ச்ச²ந்தி|
37 And there was going forth a fame concerning Him to every place of the surrounding region.
அநந்தரம்’ சதுர்தி³க்ஸ்த²தே³ஸா²ந் தஸ்ய ஸுக்²யாதிர்வ்யாப்நோத்|
38 And having risen out of the synagogue, He entered into the house of Simon, and the mother-in-law of Simon was pressed with a great fever, and they asked Him about her,
தத³நந்தரம்’ ஸ ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹாத்³ ப³ஹிராக³த்ய ஸி²மோநோ நிவேஸ²நம்’ ப்ரவிவேஸ² ததா³ தஸ்ய ஸ்²வஸ்²ரூர்ஜ்வரேணாத்யந்தம்’ பீடி³தாஸீத் ஸி²ஷ்யாஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ தஸ்மிந் விநயம்’ சக்ரு: |
39 and having stood over her, He rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately, having risen, she was ministering to them.
தத: ஸ தஸ்யா: ஸமீபே ஸ்தி²த்வா ஜ்வரம்’ தர்ஜயாமாஸ தேநைவ தாம்’ ஜ்வரோ(அ)த்யாக்ஷீத் தத: ஸா தத்க்ஷணம் உத்தா²ய தாந் ஸிஷேவே|
40 And at the setting of the sun, all, as many as had any ailing with manifold diseases, brought them to Him, and He, having put hands on each one of them, healed them.
அத² ஸூர்ய்யாஸ்தகாலே ஸ்வேஷாம்’ யே யே ஜநா நாநாரோகை³: பீடி³தா ஆஸந் லோகாஸ்தாந் யீஸோ²: ஸமீபம் ஆநிந்யு: , ததா³ ஸ ஏகைகஸ்ய கா³த்ரே கரமர்பயித்வா தாநரோகா³ந் சகார|
41 And demons were also coming forth from many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God”; and rebuking, He did not permit them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.
ததோ பூ⁴தா ப³ஹுப்⁴யோ நிர்க³த்ய சீத்ஸ²ப்³த³ம்’ க்ரு’த்வா ச ப³பா⁴ஷிரே த்வமீஸ்²வரஸ்ய புத்ரோ(அ)பி⁴ஷிக்தத்ராதா; கிந்து ஸோபி⁴ஷிக்தத்ராதேதி தே விவிது³ரேதஸ்மாத் காரணாத் தாந் தர்ஜயித்வா தத்³வக்தும்’ நிஷிஷேத⁴|
42 And day having come, having gone forth, He went on to a desolate place, and the multitudes were seeking Him, and they came to Him, and were restraining Him—not to go on from them,
அபரஞ்ச ப்ரபா⁴தே ஸதி ஸ விஜநஸ்தா²நம்’ ப்ரதஸ்தே² பஸ்²சாத் ஜநாஸ்தமந்விச்ச²ந்தஸ்தந்நிகடம்’ க³த்வா ஸ்தா²நாந்தரக³மநார்த²ம்’ தமந்வருந்த⁴ந்|
43 and He said to them, “Also to the other cities it is necessary for Me to proclaim good news of the Kingdom of God, because for this I have been sent”;
கிந்து ஸ தாந் ஜகா³த³, ஈஸ்²வரீயராஜ்யஸ்ய ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ப்ரசாரயிதும் அந்யாநி புராண்யபி மயா யாதவ்யாநி யதஸ்தத³ர்த²மேவ ப்ரேரிதோஹம்’|
44 and He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
அத² கா³லீலோ ப⁴ஜநகே³ஹேஷு ஸ உபதி³தே³ஸ²|
