Luke 24
1 And on the first [day] of the weeks, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, carrying the spices they made ready, and certain [others] with them,
A pierwszego dnia po sabacie bardzo rano przyszły do grobu, niosąc rzeczy wonne, które były nagotowały i niektóre inne z niemi;
2 and they found the stone having been rolled away from the tomb,
I znalazły kamień odwalony od grobu.
3 and having gone in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
A wszedłszy w grób, nie znalazły ciała Pana Jezusowego.
4 And it came to pass, while they are perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in clothing—flashing [with light];
I stało się, gdy się dlatego zatrwożyły, że oto dwaj mężowie stanęli przy nich w szatach świetnych.
5 and on their having become afraid, and having inclined the face to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living with the dead?
A gdy się one bały i schyliły twarz swoję ku ziemi, rzekli do nich: Cóż szukacie żyjącego między umarłymi?
6 He is not here, but was raised; remember how He spoke to you, being yet in Galilee,
Nie maszci go tu, ale wstał: wspomnijcie, jako wam powiadał, gdy jeszcze był w Galilei,
7 saying, It is necessary for the Son of Man to be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and to be crucified, and to rise again [on] the third day.”
Mówiąc: Iż Syn człowieczy musi być wydany w ręce ludzi grzesznych, i być ukrzyżowany, a trzeciego dnia zmartwychwstać.
8 And they remembered His sayings,
I wspomniały na słowa jego.
9 and having turned back from the tomb, told all these things to the Eleven, and to all the rest.
A wróciwszy się od grobu, oznajmiły to wszystko onym jedenastu i innym wszystkim.
10 And it was Mary the Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles,
A była Maryja Magdalena i Joanna, i Maryja, matka Jakóbowa, i inne z niemi, które to powiadały Apostołom.
11 and their sayings appeared before them as idle talk, and they were not believing them.
Ale się im zdały jako plotki słowa ich, i nie wierzyli im.
12 And Peter having risen, ran to the tomb, and having stooped down he sees the linen clothes lying alone, and he went away to his own home, wondering at that having come to pass.
Tedy Piotr wstawszy, bieżał do grobu, a nachyliwszy się, ujrzał same tylko prześcieradła leżące, i odszedł, dziwując się sam u siebie temu, co się stało.
13 And behold, two of them were going on during that day to a village, being sixty stadia distant from Jerusalem, the name of which [is] Emmaus,
A oto dwaj z nich tegoż dnia szli do miasteczka, które było na sześćdziesiąt stajan od Jeruzalemu, które zwano Emaus.
14 and they were conversing with one another about all these things that have happened.
A ci rozmawiali z sobą o tem wszystkiem, co się było stało.
15 And it came to pass in their conversing and reasoning together, that Jesus Himself, having come near, was going on with them,
I stało się, gdy oni rozmawiali i wespół się pytali, że i Jezus przybliżywszy się, szedł z nimi.
16 and their eyes were restrained so as not to know Him,
Ale oczy ich były zatrzymane, aby go nie poznali.
17 and He said to them, “What [are] these words that you exchange with one another, walking, and you are sad?”
I rzekł do nich: Cóż to za rozmowy, które macie między sobą idąc, a jesteście smutni?
18 And one, whose name was Cleopas, answering, said to Him, “Are You alone visiting Jerusalem and have not known the things having come to pass in it in these days?”
A odpowiadając mu jeden, któremu było imię Kleofas, rzekł mu: Tyś sam przychodniem w Jeruzalemie, a nie wiesz, co się w niem w tych dniach stało?
19 And He said to them, “What things?” And they said to Him, “The things about Jesus of Nazareth, who became a man—a prophet—powerful in deed and word, before God and all the people,
I rzekł im: Cóż? A oni mu rzekli: O Jezusie Nazareńskim, który był mąż prorok, mocny w uczynku i w mowie przed Bogiem i wszystkim ludem;
20 how also the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him up to a judgment of death, and crucified Him;
A jako go wydali przedniejsi kapłani i przełożeni nasi, aby był skazany na śmierć; i ukrzyżowali go.
21 and we were hoping that it is He who is about to redeem Israel, and also with all these things, this third day is passing today since these things happened.

22 And certain of our women also astonished us, coming early to the tomb,

23 and having not found His body, they came, saying to have also seen an apparition of messengers who say He is alive,
A nie znalazłszy ciała jego, przyszły powiadając, iż widzenie Anielskie widziały, którzy powiadają, iż on żyje.
24 and certain of those with us went away to the tomb, and found [it] so, even as the women said, and they did not see Him.”
I chodzili niektórzy z naszych do grobu, i tak znaleźli, jako i niewiasty powiadały; ale samego nie widzieli.
25 And He said to them, “O inconsiderate and slow in heart to believe on all that the prophets spoke!
Tedy on rzekł do nich: O głupi, a leniwego serca ku wierzeniu temu wszystkiemu, co powiedzieli prorocy!
26 Was it not necessary [for] the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into His glory?”
Azaż nie musiał Chrystus tego cierpieć i wnijść do chwały swojej?
27 And having begun from Moses, and from all the Prophets, He was expounding to them in all the Writings the things about Himself.
A począwszy od Mojżesza i od wszystkich proroków, wykładał im wszystkie one Pisma, które o nim napisane były.
28 And they came near to the village to where they were going, and He made an appearance of going on further,
I przybliżył się ku miasteczku, do którego szli, a on pokazywał, jakoby miał dalej iść.
29 and they constrained Him, saying, “Remain with us, for it is toward evening,” and the day declined, and He went in to remain with them.
Ale go oni przymusili, mówiąc: Zostań z nami, boć się ma ku wieczorowi, i już się dzień nachylił. I wszedł, aby został z nimi.
30 And it came to pass, in His reclining with them, having taken the bread, He blessed, and having broken, He was giving to them,
I stało się, gdy on siedział z nimi za stołem, wziąwszy chleb, błogosławił, a łamiąc podawał im.
31 and their eyes were opened, and they recognized Him, and He became unseen by them.
I otworzyły się oczy ich, i poznali go; ale on zniknął z oczu ich.
32 And they said to one another, “Was our heart not burning within us as He was speaking to us in the way, and as He was opening the Writings up to us?”
I mówili między sobą: Izali serce nasze nie pałało w nas, gdy z nami w drodze mówił, i gdy nam Pisma otwierał?
33 And they, having risen up the same hour, turned back to Jerusalem, and found the Eleven gathered together, and those with them,
A wstawszy onejże godziny, wrócili się do Jeruzalemu, i znaleźli zgromadzonych onych jedenaście, i tych, którzy z nimi byli,
34 saying, “The Lord was indeed raised, and was seen by Simon”;
Powiadających: Iż wstał Pan prawdziwie, i ukazał się Szymonowi.
35 and they were expounding the things in the way, and how He was made known to them in the breaking of the bread,
A oni też powiedzieli, co się stało w drodze, i jako go poznali w łamaniu chleba.
36 and as they are speaking these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and says to them, “Peace to you”;
A gdy oni to mówili, stanął sam Jezus w pośrodku nich, i rzekł im: Pokój wam!
37 and being amazed, and becoming frightened, they were thinking themselves to see a spirit.
A oni przelęknąwszy się i przestraszeni będąc, mniemali, iż ducha widzieli.
38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do reasonings come up in your hearts?
I rzekł im: Czemuście się zatrwożyli, i czemu myśli wstępują do serc waszych?
39 See My hands and My feet, that I am He; handle Me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see Me having.”
Oglądajcie ręce moje i nogi moje, żemci ja jest on; dotykajcie się mnie, a obaczcie; bo duch nie ma ciała ani kości, jako widzicie, że ja mam.
40 And having said this, He showed the hands and the feet to them,
A to rzekłszy, pokazał im ręce i nogi.
41 and while they are not believing from the joy, and wondering, He said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
Lecz gdy oni jeszcze nie wierzyli od radości, ale się dziwowali, rzekł im: Macie tu co jeść?
42 And they gave to Him part of a broiled fish, and of a honeycomb,
A oni mu podali sztukę ryby pieczonej i plastr miodu.
43 and having taken, He ate before them,
A on wziąwszy, jadł przed nimi.
44 and He said to them, “These [are] the words that I spoke to you, being yet with you, that it is necessary to be fulfilled all the things that are written in the Law of Moses, and the Prophets, and the Psalms, about Me.”
I rzekł do nich: Teć są słowa, którem mówił do was, będąc jeszcze z wami, iż się musi wypełnić wszystko, co napisano w zakonie Mojżeszowym i w prorokach, i w psalmach o mnie.
45 Then He opened up their understanding to understand the Writings,
Tedy im otworzył zmysł, żeby rozumieli Pisma.
46 and He said to them, “Thus it has been written, and thus it was necessary [for] the Christ to suffer, and to rise out of the dead [on] the third day,
I rzekł im: Takci napisano, i tak musiał Chrystus cierpieć, i trzeciego dnia zmartwychwstać;
47 and conversion and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in His Name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem:
I aby była kazana w imieniu jego pokuta i odpuszczenie grzechów między wszystkimi narody, począwszy od Jeruzalemu.
48 and you are witnesses of these things.
A wy jesteście świadkami tego.
49 And behold, I send the promise of My Father on you, but you—abide in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”
A oto ja poślę na was obietnicę Ojca mego, a wy zostańcie w mieście Jeruzalemie, dokąd nie będziecie przyobleczeni mocą z wysokości.
50 And He led them forth outside—to Bethany, and having lifted up His hands He blessed them,
I wywiódł je precz aż do Betanii, a podniósłszy ręce swoje błogosławił im.
51 and it came to pass, in His blessing them, He was parted from them, and was carried up into Heaven;
I stało się, gdy im błogosławił, rozstał się z nimi, i był niesiony w górę do nieba.
52 and they, having worshiped Him, turned back to Jerusalem with great joy,
A oni pokłoniwszy mu się, wrócili się do Jeruzalemu z radością wielką.
53 and were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
I byli zawsze w kościele, chwaląc i błogosławiąc Boga. Amen.
