Luke 22
1 And the Celebration of the Unleavened [Bread] was coming near, that is called Passover,
Наближалося свято Опрісноків, що зветься Пасхою.
2 and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take Him up, for they were afraid of the people.
Первосвященники та книжники шукали, як убити [Ісуса], але боялися народу.
3 And Satan entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve,
Тоді увійшов сатана в Юду, званого Іскаріот, що був із числа дванадцяти.
4 and he, having gone away, spoke with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver Him up to them,
Він пішов та зговорився з первосвященниками та начальниками храмової охорони, як видати їм [Ісуса].
5 and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,
Вони зраділи та обіцяли дати йому грошей.
6 and he agreed, and was seeking a favorable season to deliver Him up to them without tumult.
Юда погодився та шукав слушної нагоди, щоб Його видати без народу.
7 And the day of the Unleavened [Bread] came, in which it was necessary [for] the Passover to be sacrificed,
Настав день свята Опрісноків, коли належало принести пасхальну жертву.
8 and He sent Peter and John, saying, “Having gone on, prepare to us the Passover, that we may eat”;
І надіслав [Ісус] Петра та Івана, кажучи: ―Ідіть та приготуйте для нас Пасху, щоб ми спожили.
9 and they said to Him, “Where do You will that we might prepare?”
Вони спитали: ―Де Ти хочеш, щоб ми приготували?
10 And He said to them, “Behold, in your entering into the city, a man will meet you there, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he goes in,
Він відповів їм: ―Коли ввійдете в місто, вас зустріне чоловік, який нестиме глечик із водою. Ідіть за ним до дому, куди він увійде,
11 and you will say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest-chamber where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?
та скажіть господареві дому: «Учитель питає тебе: „Де кімната, у якій Я буду споживати Пасху з Моїми учнями?“»
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished, make ready there”;
Він покаже вам нагорі велику прибрану кімнату – там і приготуйте.
13 and they, having gone away, found as He has said to them, and they made the Passover ready.
Вони пішли й знайшли все саме так, як казав їм [Ісус], та приготували там Пасху.
14 And when the hour was come, He reclined, and the twelve apostles with Him,
Коли настав час, [Ісус] з апостолами сіли за стіл.
15 and He said to them, “With desire I desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering,
Він сказав їм: «Я дуже хотів їсти цю Пасху разом із вами перед Моїм стражданням.
16 for I say to you that I may eat of it no longer until it may be fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”
Кажу вам: уже не їстиму її, доки вона не звершиться в Царстві Божому».
17 And having taken a cup, having given thanks, He said, “Take this and divide to yourselves,
І, узявши чашу та подякувавши Богу, сказав: «Візьміть її та поділіть між вами.
18 for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine until the Kingdom of God may come.”
Кажу вам: віднині не питиму більше з цього виноградного плоду, доки не прийде Царство Боже».
19 And having taken bread, having given thanks, He broke and gave to them, saying, “This is My body, that is being given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.”
Потім узяв хліб та, подякувавши, розламав і дав їм, кажучи: «Це є тіло Моє, що за вас віддається. Чиніть це на згадку про Мене».
20 In like manner, also, the cup after the dining, saying, “This cup [is] the New Covenant in My blood, that is being poured forth for you.
Так само після того, як поїли, узяв і чашу, кажучи: «Ця чаша – Новий Завіт у Моїй крові, що проливається за вас.
21 But behold, the hand of him delivering Me up [is] with Me on the table,
Однак рука того, хто зраджує Мене, зі Мною за столом.
22 and, indeed, the Son of Man goes according to what has been determined; but woe to that man through whom He is being delivered up.”
Бо Син Людський іде, як і було призначено, але горе тому чоловікові, через якого зраджено Його».
23 And they began to reason among themselves who then of them it may be who is about to do this thing.
Вони почали питати один одного, хто з них міг би таке зробити.
24 And there happened also a strife among them—who of them is accounted to be greater.
Потім знялась між ними суперечка, хто з них найбільший.
25 And He said to them, “The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority on them are called benefactors;
[Ісус] же сказав їм: ―Царі народів володіють ними, і тих, що керують ними, називають благодійниками.
26 but you [are] not so, but he who is greater among you—let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;
Але ви не [будьте] такими! Навпаки: найбільший між вами нехай буде як найменший, і той, хто керує, [нехай буде] як слуга.
27 for who is greater? He who is reclining, or he who is ministering? Is it not he who is reclining? And I am in your midst as He who is ministering.
Бо хто більший: той, що сидить за столом, чи той, хто прислуговує? Чи не той, хто сидить за столом? Я ж серед вас як слуга.
28 And you are those who have remained with Me in My temptations,
Ви ті, що залишилися зі Мною в Моїх випробуваннях.
29 and I appoint to you a kingdom, as My Father appointed to Me,
І Я заповідаю вам Царство, як Мені заповів Мій Отець,
30 that you may eat and may drink at My table, in My kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
щоб ви їли та пили за столом у Царстві Моєму. Ви сядете на престолах, судячи дванадцять племен Ізраїля.
31 And the LORD said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked for himself to sift you as the wheat,
Симоне, Симоне! Ось сатана просив просіяти вас, як пшеницю.
32 and I implored for you that your faith may not fail; and you, when you turned, strengthen your brothers.”
Але Я молився за тебе, щоб ти не загубив віри та після навернення зміцнив твоїх братів.
33 And he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death”;
Петро сказав Йому: ―Господи, з Тобою я готовий іти у в’язницю й на смерть.
34 and He said, “I say to you, Peter, a rooster will not crow today, before you may disown knowing Me three times.”
Але [Ісус] відповів: ―Кажу тобі, Петре, що півень ще не заспіває сьогодні, як ти тричі зречешся, що не знаєш Мене.
35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without bag, and leather pouch, and sandals, did you lack anything?” And they said, “Nothing.”
Потім промовив до них: ―Коли Я вас посилав без гаманця, без торби та взуття, чи бракувало вам чогось? Вони сказали: ―Нічого.
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who is having a bag, let him take [it] up, and in like manner also a leather pouch; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,
―Але тепер хто має гаманець, нехай візьме його, так само й торбу; хто ж не має меча, хай продасть свій одяг та купить меч.
37 for I say to you that this which has been written is necessary to be accomplished in Me: And He was reckoned with lawless ones; for also the things concerning Me have an end.”
Кажу вам: на Мені має здійснитися те, що написано: «Його зараховано до злочинців». Бо все, що про Мене записано, збувається.
38 And they said, “Lord, behold, here [are] two swords”; and He said to them, “It is sufficient.”
Вони сказали: ―Господи, дивись, у нас два мечі. Він відповів: ―Цього достатньо.
39 And having gone forth, He went on, according to custom, to the Mount of Olives, and His disciples also followed Him,
[Ісус], за своїм звичаєм, пішов на Оливну гору, і Його учні пішли за Ним.
40 and having come to the place, He said to them, “Pray to not enter into temptation.”
Дійшовши до того місця, Він сказав їм: ―Моліться, щоб не впасти в спокусу!
41 And He was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone’s cast, and having fallen on the knees He was praying,
А Сам відійшов від них на відстань кинутого каменя, став на коліна та молився
42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me, but not My will, but Yours be done.”
кажучи: «Отче, якщо бажаєш, нехай ця чаша обмине Мене. Однак нехай буде не Моя воля, а Твоя».
43 And there appeared to Him a messenger from Heaven strengthening Him;
Тоді з неба з’явився ангел та зміцнював Його.
44 and having been in agony, He was more earnestly praying, and His sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling on the ground.
В агонії Він почав молитися ще старанніше. І піт Його став, мов краплі крові, що падали на землю.
45 And having risen up from the prayer, having come to the disciples, He found them sleeping from the sorrow,
Вставши від молитви, Він підійшов до учнів і знайшов, що вони заснули, [виснажені] смутком.
46 and He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Having risen, pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
Він сказав їм: ―Чому ви спите? Прокиньтеся та моліться, щоб не впасти в спокусу!
47 And while He is speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the Twelve, was coming before them, and he came near to Jesus to kiss Him,
Коли Він ще говорив, ось підійшов натовп, і той, кого звали Юда, один із дванадцятьох, ішов перед ними. Він підійшов до Ісуса, щоб поцілувати Його.
48 and Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you deliver up the Son of Man with a kiss?”
Ісус сказав йому: ―Юдо, ти поцілунком видаєш Сина Людського?
49 And those around Him, having seen what was about to be, said to Him, “Lord, will we strike with a sword?”
Коли ті, що були з [Ісусом], побачили, що має статися, сказали: ―Господи, чи не вдарити нам мечем?
50 And a certain one of them struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,
І один із них [мечем] ударив раба первосвященника й відрубав йому праве вухо.
51 and Jesus answering said, “Permit thus far,” and having touched his ear, He healed him.
Але Ісус сказав: ―Облиште, досить! І, торкнувшись його вуха, зцілив його.
52 And Jesus said to those having come on Him—chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders, “Have you come forth with swords and sticks as on a robber?
Потім Ісус звернувся до первосвященників, начальників храмової охорони та старійшин: «Ви вийшли [проти Мене], як проти розбійника, з мечами та киями, щоб заарештувати.
53 While daily I was with you in the temple, you stretched forth no hands against Me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.”
Щодня Я був із вами в Храмі, і ви не підняли на Мене рук, але зараз ваш час і влада темряви».
54 And having taken Him, they led and brought Him into the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following far off,
Тоді вони схопили Його та привели в дім первосвященника. Петро ж ішов за ними на відстані.
55 and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,
Коли вони розклали вогонь посеред двору та сіли навколо, Петро також сів між ними.
56 and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, “And this one was with Him!”
Одна зі служниць, побачивши, що він сидить біля вогню, придивилася до нього пильно та промовила: ―І цей був із Ним!
57 And he disowned Him, saying, “Woman, I have not known Him.”
Але [Петро] заперечив кажучи: ―Я не знаю Його, жінко!
58 And after a while, another having seen him, said, “And you are of them!” And Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
Трохи пізніше хтось інший побачив його й сказав: ―Ти теж один із них! Але Петро відповів: ―Ні, чоловіче!
59 And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, “Of a truth this one also was with Him, for he is also a Galilean”;
Близько години пізніше інший почав твердити кажучи: ―Справді, і цей був із Ним, бо він галілеянин.
60 and Peter said, “Man, I have not known what you say”; and immediately, while he is speaking, a rooster crowed.
Петро відповів: ―Чоловіче, я не знаю, про що ти говориш! І тієї ж миті, коли він ще говорив, заспівав півень.
61 And the LORD, having turned, looked on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the LORD, how He said to him, “Before a rooster will crow, you may disown Me three times”;
Господь, обернувшись, глянув на Петра. Тоді Петро згадав слова Господа, які Він сказав: «Перед тим, як сьогодні заспіває півень, ти тричі зречешся Мене».
62 and Peter having gone outside, wept bitterly.
І, вийшовши геть, він гірко заплакав.
63 And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking Him, beating [Him];
Люди, які охороняли [Ісуса], почали насміхатися з Нього та бити Його.
64 and having blindfolded Him, they were striking Him on the face, and were questioning Him, saying, “Prophesy who he is who struck You?”
Вони зав’язали Йому очі й питали кажучи: «Пророкуй! Хто Тебе вдарив?»
65 And many other things, slandering, they spoke in regard to Him.
І багато інших богохульств казали проти Нього.
66 And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led Him up to their own Sanhedrin,
На світанку старійшини народу, первосвященники та книжники зібралися разом і повели Його на свій Синедріон.
67 saying, “If You are the Christ, tell us.” And He said to them, “If I may tell you, you will not believe;
Вони сказали: ―Якщо Ти – Христос, то скажи нам! [Ісус] відповів: ―Навіть якщо скажу, ви не повірите.
68 and if I also question [you], you will not answer Me or send Me away;
І якщо Я спитаю вас, ви не відповісте.
69 from now on, there will be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.”
Але віднині Син Людський сидітиме праворуч від Всемогутнього Бога.
70 And they all said, “You, then, are the Son of God?” And He said to them, “You say [it], because I AM”;
Тоді всі вони стали запитувати: ―То, значить, Ти – Син Божий? [Ісус] відповів: ―Ви самі кажете, що то Я!
71 and they said, “What need do we have yet of testimony? For we ourselves heard [it] from His mouth.”
Тоді вони сказали: ―Навіщо нам потрібні свідчення? Ми чули це з Його вуст!
