Luke 22
1 And the Celebration of the Unleavened [Bread] was coming near, that is called Passover,
| عید فطیر که به پِسَح نیز معروف است نزدیک می‌شد. |
2 and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take Him up, for they were afraid of the people.
| در طی روزهای عید، کاهنان اعظم و سایر علمای دین در پی فرصت بودند تا عیسی را بی‌سر و صدا بگیرند و به قتل برسانند، اما از شورش مردم وحشت داشتند. |
3 And Satan entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve,
| در همین زمان، شیطان وارد وجود یهودا اسخریوطی یکی از دوازده شاگرد عیسی شد. |
4 and he, having gone away, spoke with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver Him up to them,
| پس او نزد کاهنان اعظم و فرماندهان محافظین معبد رفت تا با ایشان گفتگو کند که چگونه عیسی را به دستشان تسلیم نماید. |
5 and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,
| ایشان نیز از این امر بسیار شاد شدند و قول دادند که مبلغی به او بدهند. |
6 and he agreed, and was seeking a favorable season to deliver Him up to them without tumult.
| بنابراین یهودا به دنبال فرصتی می‌گشت تا به دور از چشم مردم، عیسی را به آنان تسلیم کند. |
7 And the day of the Unleavened [Bread] came, in which it was necessary [for] the Passover to be sacrificed,
| روز عید فطیر که می‌بایست برۀ پسَح قربانی شود، فرا رسید. |
8 and He sent Peter and John, saying, “Having gone on, prepare to us the Passover, that we may eat”;
| پس عیسی، دو نفر از شاگردان، یعنی پطرس و یوحنا را به شهر فرستاده، گفت: «بروید و شام پسَح را تدارک ببینید تا بخوریم.» |
9 and they said to Him, “Where do You will that we might prepare?”
| ایشان از عیسی پرسیدند: «کجا می‌خواهی تدارک ببینیم؟» |
10 And He said to them, “Behold, in your entering into the city, a man will meet you there, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he goes in,
| فرمود: «وقتی داخل شهر شوید، مردی با کوزه‌ای آب در دست به شما بر می‌خورد. به دنبال او بروید. به هر خانه‌ای که داخل شد، |
11 and you will say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest-chamber where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?
| به صاحب آن خانه بگویید،”استادمان ما را فرستاده است تا اتاقی را که برای ما حاضر کرده‌ای تا امشب شام پِسَح را بخوریم، به ما نشان دهی“. |
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished, make ready there”;
| او شما را به بالاخانه، به یک اتاق بزرگ و مفروش خواهد برد. شام را همان جا تدارک ببینید.» |
13 and they, having gone away, found as He has said to them, and they made the Passover ready.
| آن دو شاگرد به شهر رفتند و همه چیز را همان‌طور که عیسی گفته بود یافتند و شام پسَح را در آنجا تدارک دیدند. |
14 And when the hour was come, He reclined, and the twelve apostles with Him,
| هنگامی که وقت مقرر فرا رسید، عیسی با دوازده رسول بر سر سفره نشست. |
15 and He said to them, “With desire I desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering,
| آنگاه به ایشان فرمود: «با اشتیاق زیاد، در انتظار چنین لحظه‌ای بودم، تا پیش از آغاز رنجها و زحماتم، این شام پِسَح را با شما بخورم. |
16 for I say to you that I may eat of it no longer until it may be fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”
| زیرا به شما می‌گویم که دیگر از این شام نخواهم خورد تا آن زمان که مفهوم واقعی آن در ملکوت خدا جامۀ تحقق بپوشد.» |
17 And having taken a cup, having given thanks, He said, “Take this and divide to yourselves,
| آنگاه پیاله‌ای به دست گرفت و شکر کرد و آن را به شاگردان داد و فرمود: «بگیرید و میان خود تقسیم کنید، |
18 for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine until the Kingdom of God may come.”
| زیرا به شما می‌گویم که من تا زمان برقراری ملکوت خدا، دیگر از این محصول انگور نخواهم نوشید.» |
19 And having taken bread, having given thanks, He broke and gave to them, saying, “This is My body, that is being given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.”
| سپس نان را برداشت و خدا را شکر نمود و آن را پاره کرد و به ایشان داد و گفت: «این بدن من است که در راه شما فدا می‌شود. این را به یاد من به جا آورید.» |
20 In like manner, also, the cup after the dining, saying, “This cup [is] the New Covenant in My blood, that is being poured forth for you.
| به همین ترتیب، پس از شام، جامی دیگر برداشت و گفت: «این جام، نشانهٔ عهد جدید میان خدا و قومش است، عهدی که با خون خود آن را مهر می‌کنم. خون من در راه شما ریخته می‌شود. |
21 But behold, the hand of him delivering Me up [is] with Me on the table,
| اما اینجا، سر همین سفره، کسی نشسته است که خود را دوست ما می‌داند، ولی او همان کسی است که به من خیانت می‌کند. |
22 and, indeed, the Son of Man goes according to what has been determined; but woe to that man through whom He is being delivered up.”
| پسر انسان باید مطابق نقشهٔ خدا کشته شود، اما وای به حال کسی که او را تسلیم دشمن می‌کند!» |
23 And they began to reason among themselves who then of them it may be who is about to do this thing.
| شاگردان شروع کردند به پرسیدن از یکدیگر که کدام یک از ایشان دست به چنین کاری خواهد زد! |
24 And there happened also a strife among them—who of them is accounted to be greater.
| در ضمن بین شاگردان این بحث درگرفت که کدام یک از ایشان بزرگتر است. |
25 And He said to them, “The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority on them are called benefactors;
| عیسی به ایشان گفت: «در این دنیا، پادشاهان و بزرگان به زیر دستانشان دستور می‌دهند و آنها هم چاره‌ای جز اطاعت ندارند. |
26 but you [are] not so, but he who is greater among you—let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;
| اما در میان شما کسی از همه بزرگتر است که خود را کوچکتر از همه بداند و به دیگران خدمت کند. |
27 for who is greater? He who is reclining, or he who is ministering? Is it not he who is reclining? And I am in your midst as He who is ministering.
| در این دنیا، ارباب بر سر سفره می‌نشیند و نوکرانش به او خدمت می‌کنند. اما اینجا بین ما اینطور نیست، چون من خدمتگزار شما هستم. |
28 And you are those who have remained with Me in My temptations,
| و شما کسانی هستید که در سختیهای من، نسبت به من وفادار بوده‌اید؛ |
29 and I appoint to you a kingdom, as My Father appointed to Me,
| از این رو، همان‌گونه که پدرم به من اجازه داده است تا فرمانروایی کنم، من نیز به شما اجازه می‌دهم که در سلطنت من شریک شوید، |
30 that you may eat and may drink at My table, in My kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
| و بر سر سفرهٔ من بنشینید و بخورید و بنوشید، و بر تختها نشسته، بر دوازده قبیلهٔ اسرائیل فرمانروایی کنید. |
31 And the LORD said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked for himself to sift you as the wheat,
| «ای شمعون، شمعون، شیطان می‌خواست همگی شما را بیازماید و همانند گندم، غربال کند؛ |
32 and I implored for you that your faith may not fail; and you, when you turned, strengthen your brothers.”
| اما من برای تو دعا کردم تا ایمانت از بین نرود. پس وقتی توبه کردی و به سوی من بازگشتی، ایمان برادرانت را تقویت و استوار کن!» |
33 And he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death”;
| شمعون گفت: «خداوندا، من حاضرم با تو به زندان بروم، حتی با تو بمیرم!» |
34 and He said, “I say to you, Peter, a rooster will not crow today, before you may disown knowing Me three times.”
| عیسی فرمود: «پطرس، بدان که همین امشب، پیش از بانگ خروس، سه بار مرا انکار کرده، خواهی گفت که مرا نمی‌شناسی!» |
35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without bag, and leather pouch, and sandals, did you lack anything?” And they said, “Nothing.”
| سپس از شاگردان پرسید: «هنگامی که شما را فرستادم تا پیام انجیل را به مردم اعلام کنید، و پول و کوله‌بار و لباس اضافی با خود بر نداشته بودید، آیا به چیزی محتاج شدید؟» جواب دادند: «نه.» |
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who is having a bag, let him take [it] up, and in like manner also a leather pouch; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,
| فرمود: «اما اکنون اگر کوله‌بار و پول دارید، با خود بردارید؛ و اگر شمشیر ندارید، جامۀ خود را بفروشید و شمشیری بخرید! |
37 for I say to you that this which has been written is necessary to be accomplished in Me: And He was reckoned with lawless ones; for also the things concerning Me have an end.”
| چون زمان انجام این پیشگویی درباره من رسیده است که می‌گوید: او از خطاکاران محسوب شد. آری، هر چه درباره من پیشگویی شده است، عملی خواهد شد.» |
38 And they said, “Lord, behold, here [are] two swords”; and He said to them, “It is sufficient.”
| گفتند: «استاد، دو شمشیر داریم.» اما عیسی فرمود: «بس است!» |
39 And having gone forth, He went on, according to custom, to the Mount of Olives, and His disciples also followed Him,
| آنگاه عیسی همراه شاگردان خود، از آن بالاخانه بیرون آمد و طبق عادت به کوه زیتون رفت. |
40 and having come to the place, He said to them, “Pray to not enter into temptation.”
| در آنجا به ایشان گفت: «دعا کنید تا وسوسه بر شما غلبه نکند!» |
41 And He was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone’s cast, and having fallen on the knees He was praying,
| سپس به اندازه پرتاب یک سنگ دورتر رفت و زانو زد و چنین دعا کرد: |
42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me, but not My will, but Yours be done.”
| «ای پدر، اگر خواست توست، این جام رنج و عذاب را از مقابل من بردار، اما خواست تو را می‌خواهم، نه خواست خود را.» |
43 And there appeared to Him a messenger from Heaven strengthening Him;
| آنگاه از آسمان فرشته‌ای ظاهر شد و او را تقویت کرد. |
44 and having been in agony, He was more earnestly praying, and His sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling on the ground.
| پس او با شدت بیشتری به دعا ادامه داد، و از کشمکش روحی آنچنان در رنج و عذاب بود که عرق او همچون قطره‌های درشت خون بر زمین می‌چکید. |
45 And having risen up from the prayer, having come to the disciples, He found them sleeping from the sorrow,
| سرانجام، برخاست و نزد شاگردان برگشت و دید که از فرط غم و اندوه، به خواب رفته‌اند. |
46 and He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Having risen, pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
| پس به ایشان گفت: «چرا خوابیده‌اید؟ برخیزید و دعا کنید تا وسوسه بر شما غلبه نکند!» |
47 And while He is speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the Twelve, was coming before them, and he came near to Jesus to kiss Him,
| این کلمات هنوز بر زبان او بود که ناگاه گروهی با هدایت یهودا، یکی از دوازده شاگرد عیسی، سر رسیدند. او جلو آمد و به رسم دوستی، صورت عیسی را بوسید. |
48 and Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you deliver up the Son of Man with a kiss?”
| عیسی به او گفت: «یهودا، آیا پسر انسان را با بوسه‌ای تسلیم می‌کنی؟» |
49 And those around Him, having seen what was about to be, said to Him, “Lord, will we strike with a sword?”
| اما شاگردان، وقتی متوجه جریان شدند، فریاد زدند: «استاد، آیا اجازه می‌دهید بجنگیم؟ شمشیرهایمان حاضر است!» |
50 And a certain one of them struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,
| همان لحظه یکی از ایشان به روی خادم کاهن اعظم شمشیر کشید و گوش راست او را برید. |
51 and Jesus answering said, “Permit thus far,” and having touched his ear, He healed him.
| عیسی بلافاصله گفت: «دیگر بس است!» سپس گوش او را لمس کرد و شفا داد. |
52 And Jesus said to those having come on Him—chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders, “Have you come forth with swords and sticks as on a robber?
| آنگاه عیسی به کاهنان اعظم، فرماندهان محافظین معبد و مشایخی که آن گروه را رهبری می‌کردند، گفت: «مگر دزد فراری هستم که با چوب و چماق و شمشیر به سراغم آمده‌اید؟ |
53 While daily I was with you in the temple, you stretched forth no hands against Me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.”
| من هر روز با شما در معبد بودم؛ چرا در آنجا مرا نگرفتید؟ اما اکنون زمان شماست، زمان فرمانروایی ظلمت!» |
54 And having taken Him, they led and brought Him into the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following far off,
| به این ترتیب او را گرفته، به خانه کاهن اعظم بردند. پطرس نیز از دور ایشان را دنبال کرد. |
55 and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,
| سربازان در حیاط آتشی روشن کردند و دور آن نشستند. پطرس نیز در میان ایشان نشست. |
56 and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, “And this one was with Him!”
| در این هنگام، کنیزی، چهره پطرس را در نور آتش دید و او را شناخت و گفت: «این مرد هم با عیسی بود!» |
57 And he disowned Him, saying, “Woman, I have not known Him.”
| اما پطرس انکار کرد و گفت: «دختر، من اصلاً او را نمی‌شناسم!» |
58 And after a while, another having seen him, said, “And you are of them!” And Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
| کمی بعد، یک نفر دیگر متوجه او شد و گفت: «تو هم باید یکی از آنها باشی.» جواب داد: «نه آقا، نیستم!» |
59 And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, “Of a truth this one also was with Him, for he is also a Galilean”;
| در حدود یک ساعت بعد، یک نفر دیگر با تأکید گفت: «من مطمئن هستم که این مرد یکی از شاگردان عیسی است، چون هر دو اهل جلیل هستند.» |
60 and Peter said, “Man, I have not known what you say”; and immediately, while he is speaking, a rooster crowed.
| پطرس گفت: «ای مرد، از گفته‌هایت سر در نمی‌آورم!» و همین که این را گفت، خروس بانگ زد. |
61 And the LORD, having turned, looked on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the LORD, how He said to him, “Before a rooster will crow, you may disown Me three times”;
| همان لحظه عیسی سرش را برگرداند و به پطرس نگاه کرد. آنگاه سخن عیسی را به یاد آورد که به او گفته بود: «تا فردا صبح، پیش از بانگ خروس، سه بار مرا انکار خواهی کرد!» |
62 and Peter having gone outside, wept bitterly.
| پس پطرس از حیاط بیرون رفت و به تلخی گریست. |
63 And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking Him, beating [Him];
| اما نگهبانانی که عیسی را تحت نظر داشتند، او را مسخره می‌کردند و به او سیلی می‌زدند، |
64 and having blindfolded Him, they were striking Him on the face, and were questioning Him, saying, “Prophesy who he is who struck You?”
| و چشمان او را بسته، می‌گفتند: «نبوّت کن! بگو ببینیم چه کسی تو را زد؟» |
65 And many other things, slandering, they spoke in regard to Him.
| و ناسزاهای بسیارِ دیگر به او می‌گفتند. |
66 And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led Him up to their own Sanhedrin,
| وقتی هوا روشن شد، شورای مشایخ، مرکب از کاهنان اعظم و علمای دین، تشکیل جلسه دادند. ایشان عیسی را احضار کرده، |
67 saying, “If You are the Christ, tell us.” And He said to them, “If I may tell you, you will not believe;
| از او پرسیدند: «به ما بگو، آیا تو مسیح هستی یا نه؟» عیسی فرمود: «اگر هم بگویم، باور نخواهید کرد |
68 and if I also question [you], you will not answer Me or send Me away;
| و اگر از شما بپرسم، جواب نخواهید داد. |
69 from now on, there will be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.”
| اما از این پس پسر انسان به دست راست خدا خواهد نشست!» |
70 And they all said, “You, then, are the Son of God?” And He said to them, “You say [it], because I AM”;
| همه فریاد زده، گفتند: «پس تو ادعا می‌کنی که پسر خدا هستی؟» فرمود: «بله، شما خود گفتید که هستم.» |
71 and they said, “What need do we have yet of testimony? For we ourselves heard [it] from His mouth.”
| فریاد زدند: «دیگر چه نیاز به شاهد داریم؟ خودمان کفر را از زبانش شنیدیم!» |
