Luke 22
1 And the Celebration of the Unleavened [Bread] was coming near, that is called Passover,
अखमिरी रोटीको चाड नजिक थियो, जसलाई निस्तार-चाड भनिन्छ ।
2 and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how they may take Him up, for they were afraid of the people.
मुख्य पुजारीहरू र शास्त्रीहरूले येशूलाई कसरी मार्ने भनी छलफल गरे, किनकि तिनीहरू मानिसहरूसँग डराएका थिए ।
3 And Satan entered into Judas, who is surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the Twelve,
बाह्र जनामध्ये एउटा यहूदा इस्करियोतमा शैतान पस्यो ।
4 and he, having gone away, spoke with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might deliver Him up to them,
येशूलाई कसरी तिनीहरूकहाँ सुम्पन सकिन्छ भन्ने बारेमा छलफल गर्न यहूदा मुख्य पुजारीहरू र कप्तानहरूसँगै गयो ।
5 and they rejoiced, and covenanted to give him money,
तिनीहरू खुसी भए र उसलाई पैसा दिन सहमत भए ।
6 and he agreed, and was seeking a favorable season to deliver Him up to them without tumult.
ऊ सहमत भयो र उसले उहाँलाई भिडबाट टाढा बनाएर तिनीहरूकहाँ सुम्पने उचित अवसर खोज्यो ।
7 And the day of the Unleavened [Bread] came, in which it was necessary [for] the Passover to be sacrificed,
अखमिरी रोटीको चाडको दिन आयो जुन दिन निस्तार-चाडको थुमा बलिदान चढाउनै पर्थ्यो ।
8 and He sent Peter and John, saying, “Having gone on, prepare to us the Passover, that we may eat”;
येशूले पत्रुस र यूहन्नालाई यसो भनेर पठाउनुभयो, “जाओ र हाम्रो निम्ति निस्तार-चाडको भोज तयार पार, ताकि हामीले खान सकौँ ।”
9 and they said to Him, “Where do You will that we might prepare?”
तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई सोधे, “हामीले कहाँ तयार परेको तपाईं चाहनुहुन्छ?”
10 And He said to them, “Behold, in your entering into the city, a man will meet you there, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he goes in,
उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “सुन, जब तिमीहरू सहरभित्र पस्तछौँ, तिमीहरूले एउटा पानीको गाग्रो बोकिरहेको मानिस भेट्टाउनेछौ । ऊ जाने घरभित्र उनलाई तिमीहरूले पछ्याओ ।
11 and you will say to the master of the house, The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest-chamber where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?
तब घरको मालिकलाई भन, गुरुले तपाईंलाई भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘पाहुना कोठा कहाँ छ, जहाँ मैले मेरा चेलाहरूसँग निस्तार-चाड खानेछु?’
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished, make ready there”;
उनले तिमीहरूलाई एउटा ठुलो सजाइएको माथिल्लो तलाको कोठा देखाउनेछन् । त्यहीँ तयारी गर ।”
13 and they, having gone away, found as He has said to them, and they made the Passover ready.
त्यसैले, तिनीहरू गए र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भनेझैँ हरेक थोक भेट्टाए । तब तिनीहरूले निस्तार-चाडको भोज तयार पारे ।
14 And when the hour was come, He reclined, and the twelve apostles with Him,
जब समय आयो, उहाँ प्रेरितहरूसँगै बस्नुभयो ।
15 and He said to them, “With desire I desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering,
तब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मैले कष्ट भोग्नअगि तिमीहरूसँग निस्तार-चाड खाने ठुलो इच्छा गरेको छु ।
16 for I say to you that I may eat of it no longer until it may be fulfilled in the Kingdom of God.”
किनभने म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, यो परमेश्वरको राज्यमा पुरा नभएसम्म मैले फेरि खानेछैनँ ।”
17 And having taken a cup, having given thanks, He said, “Take this and divide to yourselves,
तब येशूले कचौरा लिनुभयो, र जब उहाँले धन्यवाद दिनुभयो, उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “यो लेऊ, र तिमीहरूका बिचमा बाँड ।
18 for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine until the Kingdom of God may come.”
किनकि म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, परमेश्वरको राज्य नआएसम्म म फेरि अङ्गुरको फलको रस पिउनेछैनँ ।”
19 And having taken bread, having given thanks, He broke and gave to them, saying, “This is My body, that is being given for you, do this in remembrance of Me.”
तब उहाँले रोटी लिनुभयो, र जब उहाँले धन्यवाद दिनुभयो, र उहाँले रोटी भाँच्नुभयो, र तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्दै दिनुभयो, “यो मेरो शरीर हो, जुन तिमीहरूका निम्ति दिइएको छ । मेरो सम्झनामा यो गर्ने गर ।”
20 In like manner, also, the cup after the dining, saying, “This cup [is] the New Covenant in My blood, that is being poured forth for you.
भोज खानुभएपछि त्यसै गरी उहाँले कचौरा लिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “यो कचौरा मेरो रगतमा भएको नयाँ करार हो, जुन तिमीहरूका निम्ति बगाइन्छ ।
21 But behold, the hand of him delivering Me up [is] with Me on the table,
तर ध्यान देओ । मलाई धोखा दिनेचाहिँ यही टेबलमा नै छ ।
22 and, indeed, the Son of Man goes according to what has been determined; but woe to that man through whom He is being delivered up.”
किनभने मानिसका पुत्र त निश्चय गरेअनुसार जानुपर्छ । तर त्यो मानिसलाई धिक्कार होस् जसद्वारा उनलाई विश्वासघात गरिन्छ ।”
23 And they began to reason among themselves who then of them it may be who is about to do this thing.
र तिनीहरूमध्ये कसले यो गर्ला भनी तिनीहरूबिच आफैँमा प्रश्न गर्न लागे ।
24 And there happened also a strife among them—who of them is accounted to be greater.
तब तिनीहरूमध्ये को सबैभन्दा ठुलो भन्नेबारे तिनीहरूबिच झगडा उब्जियो ।
25 And He said to them, “The kings of the nations exercise lordship over them, and those exercising authority on them are called benefactors;
उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “गैरयहूदीहरूका राजाहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि प्रभुत्व जमाउँदछन्, र तिनीहरूमाथि अधिकार जमाउनेलाई आदरणीय शासकहरू भनिन्छ ।
26 but you [are] not so, but he who is greater among you—let him be as the younger; and he who is leading, as he who is ministering;
तर तिमीहरूमा यस्तो हुनुहुँदैन । बरु, तिमीहरूमध्ये सबैभन्दा ठुलोचाहिँ सबैभन्दा सानोजस्तो होस् । र जो सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण छ, त्यो सेवा गर्नेजस्तो होस् ।
27 for who is greater? He who is reclining, or he who is ministering? Is it not he who is reclining? And I am in your midst as He who is ministering.
किनभने टेबलमा खान बस्ने कि वा सेवा गर्ने कुनचाहिँ ठुलो हो? टेबलमा खान बस्ने होइन र? तर म त तिमीहरूका बिचमा एक सेवा गर्नेजस्तै छु ।
28 And you are those who have remained with Me in My temptations,
तर मेरो परीक्षामा निरन्तर मसँग रहने तिमीहरू नै हौ ।
29 and I appoint to you a kingdom, as My Father appointed to Me,
जसरी मेरा पिताले मलाई एउटा राज्य दिनुभएको छ, म तिमीहरूलाई एउटा राज्य दिन्छु ।
30 that you may eat and may drink at My table, in My kingdom, and may sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
मेरो राज्यमा तिमीहरूले मसँगै टेबलमा खान र पिउन सक्नेछौ । र इस्राएलका बाह्रै कुलको न्याय गरेर सिंहासनमा बस्नेछौ ।
31 And the LORD said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked for himself to sift you as the wheat,
सिमोन, हे सिमोन, होसियार होऊ, शैतानले तिमीलाई हात पार्न खोज्यो ताकि उसले तिमीलाई गहुँलाई जस्तै निफन्न पाओस् ।
32 and I implored for you that your faith may not fail; and you, when you turned, strengthen your brothers.”
तर मैले तिम्रो निम्ति प्रार्थना गरेको छु, ताकि तिम्रो विश्वास नचुकोस् । तिमी फेरि फर्केपछि तिम्रा भाइहरूलाई बलियो बनाओ ।
33 And he said to Him, “Lord, I am ready to go with You both to prison and to death”;
पत्रुसले उहाँलाई भने, “प्रभु, म तपाईंसँग जेल र मृत्युसम्म जानको निम्ति तयार छु ।”
34 and He said, “I say to you, Peter, a rooster will not crow today, before you may disown knowing Me three times.”
येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “पत्रुस, म तिमीलाई भन्छु, तिमीले मलाई चिन्दिनँ भनेर तिन पटक इन्कार नगरेसम्म, यो दिन भाले बास्नेछैन ।”
35 And He said to them, “When I sent you without bag, and leather pouch, and sandals, did you lack anything?” And they said, “Nothing.”
तब येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “जब मैले तिमीहरूलाई पैसाको थैलो, खानेकुरा, वा जुत्ताहरूविना पठाउँदा, के तिमीहरूलाई केही कुराको खाँचो पर्यो र?” र तिनीहरूले जवाफ दिए, “खाँचो परेन ।”
36 Then He said to them, “But now, he who is having a bag, let him take [it] up, and in like manner also a leather pouch; and he who is not having, let him sell his garment, and buy a sword,
तब उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तर अहिले जोसँग पैसाको थैली छ, उसलाई बोक्न देऊ र खानेकुरा बोक्ने झोला पनि । जससँग तरवार छैन, त्यसले आफ्नो ओढ्ने बेचोस् र एउटा किनोस् ।
37 for I say to you that this which has been written is necessary to be accomplished in Me: And He was reckoned with lawless ones; for also the things concerning Me have an end.”
किनकि म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, मेरो बारेमा जे लेखिएको छ त्यो पुरा हुनेछ, ‘र उसलाई दुष्टलाई जस्तै व्यवहार गरिनेछ । किनकि मेरो बारेमा जे अगमवाणी गरिएको छ त्यो पुरा भइरहेको छ ।”
38 And they said, “Lord, behold, here [are] two swords”; and He said to them, “It is sufficient.”
तब तिनीहरूले भने, “प्रभु, हेर्नुहोस! यहाँ दुईवटा तरवार छन् ।” र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यो पर्याप्त छ ।”
39 And having gone forth, He went on, according to custom, to the Mount of Olives, and His disciples also followed Him,
भोजनपछि, येशूले प्रायः गर्नेजस्तै गर्नुभयो, उहाँ जैतून डाँडातिर जानुभयो, र चेलाहरूले उहाँलाई पछ्याए ।
40 and having come to the place, He said to them, “Pray to not enter into temptation.”
जब तिनीहरू आइपुगे, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “प्रार्थना गर ताकि तिमीहरू परीक्षामा नपर ।”
41 And He was withdrawn from them, as it were a stone’s cast, and having fallen on the knees He was praying,
उहाँ तिनीहरूबाट टाढा ढुङगा फ्याक्न सकिने ठाउँसम्म जानुभयो, र उहाँले घुँडा टेकेर प्रार्थना गर्नुभयो,
42 saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me, but not My will, but Yours be done.”
“हे पिता, यदि तपाईं चाहनुहुन्छ भने, यो कचौरा मबाट हटाइदिनुहोस् । तथापि मेरो इच्छा होइन, तर तपाईंको इच्छा पुरा होस् ।”
43 And there appeared to Him a messenger from Heaven strengthening Him;
तब स्वर्गबाट एउटा स्वर्गदूत उहाँकहाँ देखा परे र उहाँलाई शक्ति दिए ।
44 and having been in agony, He was more earnestly praying, and His sweat became, as it were, great drops of blood falling on the ground.
पीडामा परेर पनि उहाँले जोसिलो प्रकारले प्रार्थना गर्नुभयो, अनि उहाँका पसिना रगतको ठुला-ठुला थोपाजस्तै भुइँमा खसिरहेका थिए ।
45 And having risen up from the prayer, having come to the disciples, He found them sleeping from the sorrow,
जब उहाँ प्रार्थना गरेर उठ्नुभयो, उहाँ चेलाहरूकहाँ आउनुभयो, र तिनीहरूका दुःखको कारणले गर्दा तिनीहरूलाई निदाइरहेका भेट्टाउनुभयो ।
46 and He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Having risen, pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “किन तिमीहरू निदाइरहेका छौ? उठ र प्रार्थना गर, ताकि तिमीहरू परीक्षामा पर्नु नपरोस् ।”
47 And while He is speaking, behold, a multitude, and he who is called Judas, one of the Twelve, was coming before them, and he came near to Jesus to kiss Him,
हेर, उहाँ बोलिरहनु हुँदा, बाह्र जनामध्ये एउटा अर्थात् यहूदाको अगुवाइमा एउटा भिड देखा पर्यो । ऊ येशूलाई चुम्बन गर्न उहाँको नजिक आयो,
48 and Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you deliver up the Son of Man with a kiss?”
तर येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, “यहूदा, के तिमीले मानिसका पुत्रलाई एउटा चुम्बनले विश्वासघात गर्दछौ?”
49 And those around Him, having seen what was about to be, said to Him, “Lord, will we strike with a sword?”
जब येशूको वरिपरि भएकाहरूले जे भइरहेको थियो, त्यो देखे, तिनीहरूले भने, “प्रभु, के हामीले तरवारले प्रहर गर्नुपर्छ?”
50 And a certain one of them struck the servant of the chief priest, and took off his right ear,
तिनीहरूमध्ये एक जनाले प्रधान पुजारीको नोकरलाई प्रहार गरे, र उसको दाहिने कान काटिदिए ।
51 and Jesus answering said, “Permit thus far,” and having touched his ear, He healed him.
येशूले भन्नुभयो, “यति नै हुनदेऊ ।” र उहाँले उनको कान छुनुभयो, र निको पार्नुभयो ।
52 And Jesus said to those having come on Him—chief priests, and magistrates of the temple, and elders, “Have you come forth with swords and sticks as on a robber?
येशूले उहाँ विरुद्ध आउने मुख्य पुजारीहरू, मन्दिरको कप्तान र अगुवाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “के तिमीहरू एउटा लुटेराको विरुद्धमा जस्तै तरवारहरू र लाठीहरू लिएर आउँछौ?
53 While daily I was with you in the temple, you stretched forth no hands against Me; but this is your hour and the power of the darkness.”
जब म तिमीहरूसँगै मन्दिरमा दिनहुँ हुँदा, तिमीहरूले ममाथि हात हालेनौँ । तर यो तिमीहरूको समय र अन्धकारको अधिकारको समय हो ।”
54 And having taken Him, they led and brought Him into the house of the chief priest. And Peter was following far off,
तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई गिरफ्तार गरेर प्रधान पुजारीको घरभित्र ल्याए । तर पत्रुसले टाढैबाट उहाँलाई पछ्याए ।
55 and they having kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and having sat down together, Peter was sitting in the midst of them,
त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले आँगनको बिचमा आगो बाले र सँगै बसे, पत्रुस तिनीहरूका बिचमा बसे ।
56 and a certain maid having seen him sitting at the light, and having earnestly looked at him, she said, “And this one was with Him!”
पत्रुस आगोको उज्यालोमा बस्दा एउटी नोकर्नीले उनीतिर सोझै हेरेर भनी, “यी मानिस पनि उनीसँगै थिए ।”
57 And he disowned Him, saying, “Woman, I have not known Him.”
तर पत्रुसले यसलाई इन्कार गर्दै भने, “नारी, म उहाँलाई चिन्दिनँ ।”
58 And after a while, another having seen him, said, “And you are of them!” And Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
केही बेरपछि अरू कसैले देखेर भन्यो, “तिमी पनि तिनीहरूमध्ये एक हौ ।” तर पत्रुसले भने, “हे मानिस, म होइनँ ।”
59 And one hour, as it were, having intervened, a certain other was confidently affirming, saying, “Of a truth this one also was with Him, for he is also a Galilean”;
लगभग एक घण्टापछि अर्को मानिसले जिद्दी गर्दै भन्यो, “साँच्चै यी मानिस पनि उनीसँगै थिए, किनभने उनी पनि एक गालीलबासी हुन् ।”
60 and Peter said, “Man, I have not known what you say”; and immediately, while he is speaking, a rooster crowed.
तर पत्रुसले भने, “हे मानिस, तिमीले के भनिरहेछौ, म जान्दिनँ ।” र उनले बोल्दै गर्दा भाले तुरुन्तै बास्यो ।
61 And the LORD, having turned, looked on Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the LORD, how He said to him, “Before a rooster will crow, you may disown Me three times”;
प्रभुले पत्रुसतिर फर्केर हेर्नुभयो । र पत्रुसलाई उहाँले भन्नुभएको वचनलाई सम्झे, “भाले बास्नअगि तिमीले मलाई तिन पटक इन्कार गर्नेछौ ।”
62 and Peter having gone outside, wept bitterly.
पत्रुस बाहिर गएर धुरुधुरु रोए ।
63 And the men who were holding Jesus were mocking Him, beating [Him];
तब येशूलाई सुरक्षा दिने मानिसहरूले उहाँलाई गिज्याए र कुटे ।
64 and having blindfolded Him, they were striking Him on the face, and were questioning Him, saying, “Prophesy who he is who struck You?”
उहाँका आँखामा पट्टी बाँधेर, तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई यसो भन्दै सोधे, “भविष्यवाणी गर्! तँलाई कुट्ने को हो?”
65 And many other things, slandering, they spoke in regard to Him.
येशूको विरुद्धमा तिनीहरूले अरू धेरै कुराहरू बोले र उहाँलाई ईश्वर-निन्दाको दोष लगाए ।
66 And when it became day there was gathered together the eldership of the people, chief priests also, and scribes, and they led Him up to their own Sanhedrin,
बिहान हुनेबितिकै, मुख्य पुजारीहरू र शास्त्रीहरू दुवै मानिसहरूका धर्म-गुरुहरू सँगै भेला भए । तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई परिषद्मा लगे र
67 saying, “If You are the Christ, tell us.” And He said to them, “If I may tell you, you will not believe;
भने, “यदि तँ ख्रीष्ट होस् भने हामीलाई भन् ।” तर उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “यदि मैले तपाईंहरूलाई भने पनि तपाईंहरूले विश्वास गर्नुहुनेछैन,
68 and if I also question [you], you will not answer Me or send Me away;
र मैले तपाईंहरूलाई सोधेँ भने, तपाईंहरूले जवाफ दिनुहुनेछैन ।
69 from now on, there will be the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power of God.”
तर अहिलेबाट, मानिसका पुत्र परमेश्वरको शक्तिको दाहिने हातपट्टि विराजमान हुनेछ ।”
70 And they all said, “You, then, are the Son of God?” And He said to them, “You say [it], because I AM”;
तिनीहरू सबैले भने, “त्यसो भए के तँ परमेश्वरका पुत्र होस्?” र येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तपाईंहरू नै भन्नुहुन्छ, म उही हुँ ।”
71 and they said, “What need do we have yet of testimony? For we ourselves heard [it] from His mouth.”
तिनीहरूले भने, “अब हामीलाई किन अझ साक्षीहरूको आवश्यक पर्छ र? किनभने हामी आफैँले उसको आफ्नै मुखबाट सुनिसक्यौँ ।”
