Luke 21
1 And having looked up, He saw those who cast their gifts into the treasury—rich men,
அத² த⁴நிலோகா பா⁴ண்டா³கா³ரே த⁴நம்’ நிக்ஷிபந்தி ஸ ததே³வ பஸ்²யதி,
2 and He also saw a certain poor widow casting two mites there,
ஏதர்ஹி காசித்³தீ³நா வித⁴வா பணத்³வயம்’ நிக்ஷிபதி தத்³ த³த³ர்ஸ²|
3 and He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow cast in more than all;
ததோ யீஸு²ருவாச யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ யதா²ர்த²ம்’ வதா³மி, த³ரித்³ரேயம்’ வித⁴வா ஸர்வ்வேப்⁴யோதி⁴கம்’ ந்யக்ஷேப்ஸீத்,
4 for all these out of their superabundance cast into the gifts to God, but this one out of her want, all the living that she had, cast in.”
யதோந்யே ஸ்வப்ராஜ்யத⁴நேப்⁴ய ஈஸ்²வராய கிஞ்சித் ந்யக்ஷேப்ஸு: , கிந்து த³ரித்³ரேயம்’ வித⁴வா தி³நயாபநார்த²ம்’ ஸ்வஸ்ய யத் கிஞ்சித் ஸ்தி²தம்’ தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ ந்யக்ஷேப்ஸீத்|
5 And [as] some were speaking about the temple, that it has been adorned with good stones and devoted things, He said,
அபரஞ்ச உத்தமப்ரஸ்தரைருத்ஸ்ரு’ஷ்டவ்யைஸ்²ச மந்தி³ரம்’ ஸுஸோ²ப⁴தேதராம்’ கைஸ்²சிதி³த்யுக்தே ஸ ப்ரத்யுவாச
6 “These things that you behold—days will come in which there will not be left a stone on a stone that will not be thrown down.”
யூயம்’ யதி³த³ம்’ நிசயநம்’ பஸ்²யத², அஸ்ய பாஷாணைகோப்யந்யபாஷாணோபரி ந ஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி, ஸர்வ்வே பூ⁴ஸாத்³ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி காலோயமாயாதி|
7 And they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, when, then, will these things be? And what [is] the sign when these things may be about to happen?”
ததா³ தே பப்ரச்சு²: , ஹே கு³ரோ க⁴டநேத்³ரு’ஸீ² கதா³ ப⁴விஷ்யதி? க⁴டநாயா ஏதஸ்யஸஸ்²சிஹ்நம்’ வா கிம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி?
8 And He said, “See—you may not be led astray, for many will come in My Name, saying, I am [He], and the time has come near; do not then go on after them;
ததா³ ஸ ஜகா³த³, ஸாவதா⁴நா ப⁴வத யதா² யுஷ்மாகம்’ ப்⁴ரமம்’ கோபி ந ஜநயதி, கீ²ஷ்டோஹமித்யுக்த்வா மம நாம்ரா ப³ஹவ உபஸ்தா²ஸ்யந்தி ஸ கால: ப்ராயேணோபஸ்தி²த: , தேஷாம்’ பஸ்²சாந்மா க³ச்ச²த|
9 and when you may hear of wars and uprisings, do not be terrified, for it is necessary for these things to happen first, but the end [is] not immediately.”
யுத்³த⁴ஸ்யோபப்லவஸ்ய ச வார்த்தாம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா மா ஸ²ங்கத்⁴வம்’, யத: ப்ரத²மம் ஏதா க⁴டநா அவஸ்²யம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி கிந்து நாபாதே யுகா³ந்தோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom,
அபரஞ்ச கத²யாமாஸ, ததா³ தே³ஸ²ஸ்ய விபக்ஷத்வேந தே³ஸோ² ராஜ்யஸ்ய விபக்ஷத்வேந ராஜ்யம் உத்தா²ஸ்யதி,
11 also great shakings, and there will be famines and pestilences in every place; also there will be fearful things and great signs from the sky;
நாநாஸ்தா²நேஷு மஹாபூ⁴கம்போ து³ர்பி⁴க்ஷம்’ மாரீ ச ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, ததா² வ்யோமமண்ட³லஸ்ய ப⁴யங்கரத³ர்ஸ²நாந்யஸ்²சர்ய்யலக்ஷணாநி ச ப்ரகாஸ²யிஷ்யந்தே|
12 and before all these, they will lay on you their hands, and persecute, delivering up to synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and governors for My Name’s sake;
கிந்து ஸர்வ்வாஸாமேதாஸாம்’ க⁴டநாநாம்’ பூர்வ்வம்’ லோகா யுஷ்மாந் த்⁴ரு’த்வா தாட³யிஷ்யந்தி, ப⁴ஜநாலயே காராயாஞ்ச ஸமர்பயிஷ்யந்தி மம நாமகாரணாத்³ யுஷ்மாந் பூ⁴பாநாம்’ ஸா²ஸகாநாஞ்ச ஸம்முக²ம்’ நேஷ்யந்தி ச|
13 and it will become to you for a testimony.
ஸாக்ஷ்யார்த²ம் ஏதாநி யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி க⁴டிஷ்யந்தே|
14 Settle, then, to your hearts, not to meditate beforehand to reply,
ததா³ கிமுத்தரம்’ வக்தவ்யம் ஏதத் ந சிந்தயிஷ்யாம இதி மந: ஸு நிஸ்²சிதநுத|
15 for I will give to you a mouth and wisdom that all your opposers will not be able to refute or resist.
விபக்ஷா யஸ்மாத் கிமப்யுத்தரம் ஆபத்திஞ்ச கர்த்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்ஷ்யந்தி தாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ வாக்படுத்வம்’ ஜ்ஞாநஞ்ச யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ தா³ஸ்யாமி|
16 And you will be delivered up also by parents, and brothers, and relatives, and friends, and they will put [some] of you to death;
கிஞ்ச யூயம்’ பித்ரா மாத்ரா ப்⁴ராத்ரா ப³ந்து⁴நா ஜ்ஞாத்யா குடும்பே³ந ச பரகரேஷு ஸமர்பயிஷ்யத்⁴வே; ததஸ்தே யுஷ்மாகம்’ கஞ்சந கஞ்சந கா⁴தயிஷ்யந்தி|
17 and you will be hated by all because of My Name—
மம நாம்ந: காரணாத் ஸர்வ்வை ர்மநுஷ்யை ர்யூயம் ரு’தீயிஷ்யத்⁴வே|
18 and a hair out of your head will not perish;
கிந்து யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸி²ர: கேஸை²கோபி ந விநம்’க்ஷ்யதி,
19 in your patience possess your souls.
தஸ்மாதே³வ தை⁴ர்ய்யமவலம்ப்³ய ஸ்வஸ்வப்ராணாந் ரக்ஷத|
20 And when you may see Jerusalem surrounded by encampments, then know that her desolation has come near;
அபரஞ்ச யிரூஸா²லம்புரம்’ ஸைந்யவேஷ்டிதம்’ விலோக்ய தஸ்யோச்சி²ந்நதாயா: ஸமய: ஸமீப இத்யவக³மிஷ்யத²|
21 then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains; and those in her midst, let them depart out; and those in the countries, do not let them come in to her;
ததா³ யிஹூதா³தே³ஸ²ஸ்தா² லோகா: பர்வ்வதம்’ பலாயந்தாம்’, யே ச நக³ரே திஷ்ட²ந்தி தே தே³ஸா²ந்தரம்’ பலாயந்தா, யே ச க்³ராமே திஷ்ட²ந்தி தே நக³ரம்’ ந ப்ரவிஸ²ந்து,
22 because these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all things that have been written.
யதஸ்ததா³ ஸமுசிதத³ண்ட³நாய த⁴ர்ம்மபுஸ்தகே யாநி ஸர்வ்வாணி லிகி²தாநி தாநி ஸப²லாநி ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
23 And woe to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days; for there will be great distress on the land, and wrath on this people;
கிந்து யா யாஸ்ததா³ க³ர்ப⁴வத்ய: ஸ்தந்யதா³வ்யஸ்²ச தாமாம்’ து³ர்க³தி ர்ப⁴விஷ்யதி, யத ஏதால்லோகாந் ப்ரதி கோபோ தே³ஸே² ச விஷமது³ர்க³தி ர்க⁴டிஷ்யதே|
24 and they will fall by the mouth of the sword, and will be led captive to all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trodden down by nations, until the times of nations be fulfilled.
வஸ்துதஸ்து தே க²ங்க³தா⁴ரபரிவ்வங்க³ம்’ லப்ஸ்யந்தே ப³த்³தா⁴: ஸந்த: ஸர்வ்வதே³ஸே²ஷு நாயிஷ்யந்தே ச கிஞ்சாந்யதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ ஸமயோபஸ்தி²திபர்ய்யந்தம்’ யிரூஸா²லம்புரம்’ தை: பத³தலை ர்த³லயிஷ்யதே|
25 And there will be signs in sun, and moon, and stars, and on the earth distress of nations with perplexity, sea and wave roaring;
ஸூர்ய்யசந்த்³ரநக்ஷத்ரேஷு லக்ஷணாதி³ ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, பு⁴வி ஸர்வ்வதே³ஸீ²யாநாம்’ து³: க²ம்’ சிந்தா ச ஸிந்தௌ⁴ வீசீநாம்’ தர்ஜநம்’ க³ர்ஜநஞ்ச ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
26 men fainting at heart from fear, and expectation of the things coming on the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
பூ⁴பௌ⁴ பா⁴விக⁴டநாம்’ சிந்தயித்வா மநுஜா பி⁴யாம்ரு’தகல்பா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி, யதோ வ்யோமமண்ட³லே தேஜஸ்விநோ தோ³லாயமாநா ப⁴விஷ்யந்தி|
27 And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud, with power and much glory;
ததா³ பராக்ரமேணா மஹாதேஜஸா ச மேகா⁴ரூட⁴ம்’ மநுஷ்யபுத்ரம் ஆயாந்தம்’ த்³ரக்ஷ்யந்தி|
28 and these things beginning to happen, bend yourselves back, and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
கிந்த்வேதாஸாம்’ க⁴டநாநாமாரம்பே⁴ ஸதி யூயம்’ மஸ்தகாந்யுத்தோல்ய ஊர்த³த்⁴வம்’ த்³ரக்ஷ்யத², யதோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ முக்தே: கால: ஸவிதோ⁴ ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
29 And He spoke an allegory to them: “See the fig tree, and all the trees,
ததஸ்தேநைதத்³ரு’ஷ்டாந்தகதா² கதி²தா, பஸ்²யத உடு³ம்ப³ராதி³வ்ரு’க்ஷாணாம்’
30 when they may now cast forth, having seen, of yourselves you know that now the summer is near;
நவீநபத்ராணி ஜாதாநீதி த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா நிதா³வகால உபஸ்தி²த இதி யதா² யூயம்’ ஜ்ஞாதும்’ ஸ²க்நுத²,
31 so also you, when you may see these things happening, you know that the Kingdom of God is near;
ததா² ஸர்வ்வாஸாமாஸாம்’ க⁴டநாநாம் ஆரம்பே⁴ த்³ரு’ஷ்டே ஸதீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ராஜத்வம்’ நிகடம் இத்யபி ஜ்ஞாஸ்யத²|
32 truly I say to you, this generation may not pass away until all may have come to pass;
யுஷ்மாநஹம்’ யதா²ர்த²ம்’ வதா³மி, வித்³யமாநலோகாநாமேஷாம்’ க³மநாத் பூர்வ்வம் ஏதாநி க⁴டிஷ்யந்தே|
33 the sky and the earth will pass away, but My words may not pass away.
நபோ⁴பு⁴வோர்லோபோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி மம வாக் து கதா³பி லுப்தா ந ப⁴விஷ்யதி|
34 And take heed to yourselves lest your hearts may be weighed down with carousing, and drunkenness, and anxieties of life, and suddenly that day may come on you,
அதஏவ விஷமாஸ²நேந பாநேந ச ஸாம்’மாரிகசிந்தாபி⁴ஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாகம்’ சித்தேஷு மத்தேஷு தத்³தி³நம் அகஸ்மாத்³ யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி யதா² நோபதிஷ்ட²தி தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸ்வேஷு ஸாவதா⁴நாஸ்திஷ்ட²த|
35 for it will come as a snare on all those dwelling on the face of all the earth,
ப்ரு’தி²வீஸ்த²ஸர்வ்வலோகாந் ப்ரதி தத்³தி³நம் உந்மாத² இவ உபஸ்தா²ஸ்யதி|
36 watch, then, in every season, praying that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
யதா² யூயம் ஏதத்³பா⁴விக⁴டநா உத்தர்த்தும்’ மநுஜஸுதஸ்ய ஸம்முகே² ஸம்’ஸ்தா²துஞ்ச யோக்³யா ப⁴வத² காரணாத³ஸ்மாத் ஸாவதா⁴நா: ஸந்தோ நிரந்தரம்’ ப்ரார்த²யத்⁴வம்’|
37 And He was teaching in the temple during the days, and during the nights, going forth, He was lodging at [that] called the Mount of Olives;
அபரஞ்ச ஸ தி³வா மந்தி³ர உபதி³ஸ்²ய ராசை ஜைதுநாத்³ரிம்’ க³த்வாதிஷ்ட²த்|
38 and all the people were coming early to Him in the temple to hear Him.
தத: ப்ரத்யூஷே லாகாஸ்தத்கதா²ம்’ ஸ்²ரோதும்’ மந்தி³ரே தத³ந்திகம் ஆக³ச்ச²ந்|
