Che Yesu paŵaiche peuto po ŵalolite mwinani ni ŵansalile, “Che Sakayo, ntuluche chitema pakuŵa lelo jino ikumajila kulonjela mu nyuumba jenu.”
6 and he having hurried came down, and received Him rejoicing;

7 and having seen [it], they were all murmuring, saying, “He went in to lodge with a sinful man!”
Ŵandu wose paŵaiweni yele, ŵatandite kunyinyita achitiji, “Ajinjile kulonjela kwa mundu jwa sambi.”
8 And Zaccheus having stood, said to the LORD, “Behold, half of my goods, Lord, I give to the poor, and if I took by false accusation anything of anyone, I give back fourfold.”
9 And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation came to this house, inasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham;
Che Yesu ŵansalile kuti, “Lelo jino ukulupusyo uiche mu nyuumba ji pakuŵa nombejo ali jwauŵelesi u che Iblahimu.
10 for the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Pakuŵa Mwana jwa Mundu aiche kukwasosa ni kukwakulupusya ŵasochele.”
11 And while they are hearing these things, having added He spoke an allegory, because of His being near to Jerusalem, and of their thinking that the Kingdom of God is immediately about to appear.

13 and having called ten servants of his own, he gave ten minas to them and said to them, Do business—until I come;

14 and his citizens were hating him, and sent a delegation after him, saying, We do not wish this one to reign over us.
Nambo achinsyene musi, ŵanchimile ni ŵalajisye ŵantenga ajaule akajile ‘Ngatukunsaka mundu ju atulongosye uwe.’
15 And it came to pass, on his coming back, having taken the kingdom, that he commanded these servants to be called to him, to whom he gave the money, that he might know what anyone had done in business.
“Nambo, mundu jo ŵausile sooni kumusi ali amasile kupochela umwenye ni ŵalamwile kuti akaaŵilanjile achikapolo uŵapele mbiya ŵala kuti achimanyilile chachipundile chajinjisye kila mundu.
16 And the first came near, saying, Lord, your mina gained ten minas;
Kapolo jwaandanda jwaiche paujo pao ni ŵatite, ‘Ambuje, mbiya jenu jimwambele jijonjesyeche mbiya likumi.’
17 and he said to him, Well done, good servant, because you became faithful in a very little, be having authority over ten cities.
Nombewo ŵansalile, ‘Ntesile yambone, mmwejo ndi kapolo jwambone. Pakuŵa mwaliji jwakukulupilichika pa indu yenandi, nkoleje ulamusi pachanya pa misi likumi!’
18 And the second came, saying, Lord, your mina made five minas;

19 and he also said to this one, And you, become [ruler] over five cities.
Nombewo ŵansalile jwelejo kuti, ‘Nomwe ŵakwe nkoleje ulamusi pachanya misi nsano.’
20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, your mina, that I had lying away in a napkin;
“Nipele, kapolo jwine jwaiche achitiji, ‘Ambuje, aji ni mbiya jenu jimwambele jila, nagosile uchenene mu chiguo cha mwana chammakono.
21 for I was afraid of you, because you are an austere man; you take up what you did not lay down, and reap what you did not sow.
Ligongo nanjogopaga, pakuŵa mmwe ndi mundu jwakunonopa ntima. Mundu junkuigala yangaŵa yenu ni kugoola yanganimpande.’
22 And he says to him, Out of your mouth I will judge you, evil servant: you knew that I am an austere man, taking up what I did not lay down, and reaping what I did not sow!
Nombewo ŵansalile, ‘Ngunnamula kwaligongo lya intite pakuŵecheta mmwe kapolo jwangalumbana! Ngati mwaamanyilile kuti une ndili mundu jwakunonopa ntima, jungwigala yangaŵa yangu ni jungugowola yanganimbande.
23 And why did you not give my money to the bank, and I, having come, might have received it with interest?
Ligongo chi nganinjausya mbiya jangu kwa ŵakutyosya yakoonjecheka, kuti une pachiuje nyaule ngajigale ni yakupunda yakwe?’
24 And to those standing by he said, Take the mina from him, and give to him having the ten minas—
“Pelepo ŵaasalile uŵajimi pepala ŵala, ‘Munsumule mbiya jo, nkaape jwakwete mbiya likumi jula.’
25 (and they said to him, Lord, he has ten minas)—
Ŵanyawo ŵansalile, ‘Ambuje, nambo jwelejo akwete chile mbiya likumi!’
26 for I say to you that to everyone having will be given, and from him not having, also what he has will be taken from him,
Nombewo ŵajanjile kuti, ‘Ngunsalila, kwa jwalijose jwakwete chindu chachipegwa ni kujonjechekwa. Nambo kwa jwanganakola chindu atamuno chamwana chakwete cho chichijigalikwe.
27 but those my enemies, who did not wish me to reign over them, bring here and slay before me.”
Nambo, yankati aŵaŵa ŵammagongo ŵangu uŵakanile kuti ninaalongosye, mwaichisye apano ni kwasikita paujo pangu.’”
28 And having said these things, He went on before, going up to Jerusalem.

29 And it came to pass, as He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, to that called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,

30 having said, “Go away into the village in front of [you], in which, entering in, you will find a colt bound, on which no one of men ever sat, having loosed it, bring [it];
Ŵasalile kuti, “Njaule pa nsinda wauli mmbujo mwenu. Pachinkajinjile mu nsinda mo, chinkansimane mwanambunda jwataŵikwe jwanganakwelekwe ni mundu. Nkangopole ni kunnyikanawo apano.
31 and if anyone questions you, Why do you loose [it]? Thus you will say to him: The LORD has need of it.”
Sooni iŵaga chakammusye mundu kuti, ligongo chi nkungopola? Nkajile, ‘Ambuje akunsaka.’”
32 And those sent, having gone away, found according as He said to them,
Nipele, uŵalajisye ŵala ŵajawile ni ŵaisimene mpela iŵatite pakusalilwa ni Che Yesu.
33 and while they are loosing the colt, its owners said to them, “Why do you loose the colt?”

34 And they said, “The LORD has need of it”;
Ŵajanjile, “Ambuje akunsaka.”
35 and they brought it to Jesus, and having cast their garments on the colt, they sat Jesus on it.
Ŵanjigele mwanambunda jula ni kwapelechela Che Yesu. Ŵatandiche iwalo yao pachanya pa mwanambunda jo ni ŵankwesisye Che Yesu pachanya pakwe.
36 And as He is going, they were spreading their garments in the way,

37 and as He is coming near now, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began rejoicing to praise God with a great voice for all the mighty works they had seen,

ŵatite “Akole upile Mwenye jwakwika mu liina lya Ambuje. Chitendewele kwinani ni ukulu kwa Akumanani.”
39 And certain of the Pharisees from the multitude said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples”;
Mafalisayo ŵampepe ŵaŵaliji mu mpingo wa ŵandu mula ŵansalile Che Yesu kuti, “Jŵakwiganya, mwakalipile ŵakulijiganya ŵenu!”
40 and He answering said to them, “I say to you that if these will be silent, the stones will cry out!”
Che Yesu ŵajanjile kuti, “Ngunsalila ŵanyamwe, naga chamyalale ŵanyaŵa, maganga chigatande kunyokonya.”
41 And when He came near, having seen the city, He wept over it,

42 saying, “If you knew, even you, at least in this your day, the things for your peace; but now they were hid from your eyes.

43 Because days will come on you, and your enemies will cast a rampart around you, and surround you around, and press you on every side,
Pakuŵa moŵa chigannyichile mmwe ni ŵammagongo ŵenu chansyunguchisye likumba ni chachinsyungula ni kummijikanya kosekose.

Chankasanye mmwe ni ŵaali nkati likumba lya musi wose ngapagwa liganga lichilisigale palijakwe, ligongo nganinkamanyilila katema paŵannyichile Akunnungu kukunkulupusya.”
45 And having entered into the temple, He began to cast forth those selling in it, and those buying,

46 saying to them, “It has been written, My house is a house of prayer—but you made it a den of robbers.”
achitiji, “Ilembekwe yati, ‘Nyuumba jangu chijiŵe nyuumba ja kupopela’, nambo ŵanyamwe njitesile peuto pakulisisila ŵawiyi.”
47 And He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests and the scribes were seeking to destroy Him—also the chiefs of the people—
