< Luke 17 >

1 And He said to the disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
Nongma Jisuna mahakki tung-inbasingda hairak-i, “Misingbu papta tahanba athembasingdi adumak lakkani, adubu masi thok-halliba mahak adudi awabanida!
2 it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put around his neck, and he has been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
Mahakna apikpa angangsing asigi maraktagi amabu papta tahallabadi, mahakki mangakta achouba chakri nung ama yansillaga achouba ipakta thadabana mahakkidamak henna phei.
3 Take heed to yourselves, and if your brother may sin in regard to you, rebuke him, and if he may change his mind, forgive him,
Maram aduna nasamak cheksillu. “Karigumba nahakki nachin nanaona pap tourabadi mahakpu warak watembiyu. Aduga mahakna pukning honglabadi mahakpu kokpiyu.
4 and if seven times in the day he may sin against you, and seven times in the day may return to you, saying, I change my mind, you will forgive him.”
Mahakna nahakki nathakta nongmada pap taretlak touraba aduga atouba khudingmakta mahakna nagonda laktuna, ‘Ei pukning hongjare’ haijarabadi nahakna mahakpu kokpigadabani.”
5 And the apostles said to the LORD, “Add to us faith”;
Pakhonchatpasing aduna Ibungoda hairak-i, “Eikhoigi thajaba hengathanbiyu.”
6 and the LORD said, “If you had faith as a grain of mustard, you would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
Maduda Ibungona khumlak-i, “Nakhoida hangam marumuk chaoba thajaba leirabadi nakhoina kabrangchak pambi asida nasana maru phukchaduna achouba ipakta houru haibada pambi asina nakhoigi yathang ingani.”
7 But who is he of you—having a servant plowing or feeding—who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come, recline at once?
“Nakhoigi maraktagi amagi lou khoiba nattraga yao senba minai ama lei haina khallasi. Aduga minai aduna loubuktagi halakpa matamda nahakna minai aduda thuna laktuna chak chananaba phamlo haigadra?
8 But will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may dine, and having girded yourself around, minister to me, until I eat and drink, and after these things you will eat and drink?
Hairoi nattra! Madugi mahutta mahakna minai aduda haigani, ‘Eigi chaklen thourang tou, aduga thourang toujaduna eina chari thaklingeida eibu thougal tou; aduga madu loiraga nahak amuk chaba yagani.’
9 Does he have favor to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
Aduga minai aduna mangonda tounaba haibasing adu inbagidamak mapu aduna mahakpu thagatkadra? Thagatkani haina eina khande.
10 So also you, when you may have done all the things directed you, say, We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do we have done.”
Maram aduna, matou asigumduna nakhoida tounanaba haikhiba pumnamaksing adu pangthokpa matamda nakhoinasu haiyu, ‘Eikhoi matik chadaba minaisingni, eikhoina eikhoigi ithoudangsing adu pangthokchaba khaktani.’”
11 And it came to pass, in His going on to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
Adudagi Jisuna Jerusalem tamna asum lakpada Samaria amadi Galilee-gi tainapham maphamdu phaoduna chatlammi.
12 and He entering into a certain village, there ten leprous men met Him, who stood far off,
Aduga mahakna khunggang amada changlakpa matamda tamthiba unsagi leinana naba makhoi taraga thengnarammi. Amasung makhoina lapna lepladuna,
13 and they lifted up the voice, saying, “Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us”;
khonjel houna kouraduna hairak-i, “Jisu! Ibungo! Eikhoibu nungsibiyu!”
14 and having seen [them], He said to them, “Having gone on, show yourselves to the priests”; and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
Aduga Ibungona makhoibu ubada makhoida hairak-i, “Chatlu aduga nakhoi nasamakpu purohitta utcharu.” Amasung makhoina lambida asum chatlingeida makhoigi anaba adu sengjare.
15 and one of them having seen that he was healed turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
Aduga makhoigi maraktagi amana mahakki anabadu Jisuna phahanbire haibadu ujabada mahakna Ibungogi manakta halaktuna khonjel houna Tengban Mapubu thagatlak-i.
16 and he fell on [his] face at His feet, giving thanks to Him, and he was a Samaritan.
Mahakna Jisugi khuyakhada tuthajaduna mahakpu thagatcharammi. Amasung nupa adu Samaria-gi mi oirammi.
17 And Jesus answering said, “Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine—where?
Maduda Jisuna hairak-i, “Eina makhoi taramakpu senghanbikhiba nattra? Aduga atoppa mapan adudi kadai?
18 There were none found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner”;
Atoppa phurupki nupa asi nattana Tengban Mapubu thagatnanaba atei kana amata halaktrabra?”
19 and He said to him, “Having risen, be going on, your faith has saved you.”
Adudagi Jisuna nupa aduda hairak-i, “Hougattuna chatcharo, nahakki thajabana nahakpu phahanbire.”
20 And having been questioned by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
Nongma pharisee kharana Tengban Mapugi leibak adu karamba matamda lakkadage haina hangbada Jisuna khumlak-i, “Tengban Mapugi Leibak adu uba ngamba phibamsingga loinana lakte.
21 nor will they say, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
Aduga mi kana amatana ‘Yengu, asisa leire nattraga maduda leire’ haina haiba ngamloi; maramdi Tengban Mapugi leibak adu nakhoigi nungda lei.”
22 And He said to His disciples, “Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man and you will not behold [it];
Adudagi Ibungona mahakki tung-inbasing aduda hairak-i, “Migi Machanupa adugi numitsing adudagi numit amabu nakhoina yamna ujaningba matam ama lakkani, adubu nakhoina madu uroi.
23 and they will say to you, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; you may not go away, nor follow;
Amasung misingna nakhoida haigani, ‘Yengu mahak asida leire, nattraga yengu mahak aduda leire!’ Adubu nakhoina madu yengnabagidamak chatthokkanu, makhoigi matung inganu.
24 for as the lightning is flashing out of one [part] under the sky [and] shines to the other [part] under the sky, so will the Son of Man also be in His day;
Maramdi atiyagi nakal amada nongthang kuppada nakal adudagi atoppa nakal amagi ngamkhei phaoba nganbagumna Migi Machanupa adugi numit adusu matou adugumna oigani.”
25 and first it is necessary for Him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
Adubu ahanbada mahakna awa-anang kaya khangba tai amasung miron asina mahakpu inthokpa tai.
26 And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man;
Noah-gi haktakta oikhiba adugumna migi Machanupa adugi numit adusu adugumna oigani.
27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark, and the flood came, and destroyed all;

28 in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
Matou adugumduna Lotki matamdasu thokkhi. Misingna cha-thaktuna, lei-yonduna, mahei-marong thaduna amadi yum saduna leirammi.
29 and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from the sky, and destroyed all.
Aduga Lot-na Sodom thadokpa numit aduda atiyadagi mei amadi kantrukki nong taraktuna makhoi pumnamakpu manghankhi.
30 According to these things it will be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
Asumna Migi Machanupa adubu phongdokpa numit adudasu oigani.
31 in that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his vessels in the house, do not let him come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, do not let him turn backward;
“Numit aduda yumthakta leiba mahakna mapot-machei lounanaba imungda amuk kumthadasanu; matou asigumduna loubukta leiba mahakna yumda amuk halaktasanu.
32 remember the wife of Lot.
Lot-ki nupibu ningsingu!
33 Whoever may seek to save his life, will lose it; and whoever may lose it, will preserve it.
Kanagumba mathawai kanjaningba mahak aduna madubu mangjagani, aduga mathawai mangjaba mahak aduna madubu phangjagani.
34 I say to you, in that night there will be two [men] on one bed: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
Eina nakhoida hairibasini, ahing aduda phamung amada mi ani hipminnagani, aduga mi amabu pukhigani aduga amabuna thanamgani.
35 two [women] will be grinding at the same place together: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
Nupi ani chakkri takminnagani, amasung nupi amabu pukhigani aduga amabuna thanamgani.”
36 [[two [men] will be in the field: one will be taken, and the other left.”]]
Mi ani loubukta thabak suminnagani; amabu pukhigani, aduga atoppa amabu thanamgani.
37 And they answering say to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body [is], there the eagles will be gathered together.”
Maduda tung-inbasingduna hanglak-i, “Masi kadaida thokkadabano, Ibungo?” Jisuna khumlak-i, “Asiba hakchang leiba mapham aduda langjasingna tingani.”
