Luke 14

1 And it came to pass, on His going into the house of a certain one of the chiefs of the Pharisees, on a Sabbath, to eat bread, that they were watching Him,

၁တစ်နေ့သောဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌ ကိုယ်တော် သည် အစာ ကိုသုံးဆောင် ခြင်းငှာအရာရှိ ဖြစ်သော ဖာရိရှဲ တစ် ယောက်၏အိမ် သို့ ဝင် တော်မူလျှင်၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ကို ချောင်းကြည့် ကြ၏။

2 and behold, there was a certain dropsical man before Him;

၂ရေဖျဉ်းနာ စွဲသောသူ တစ် ယောက်သည် ရှေ့ တော်၌ရှိ ၏။

3 and Jesus answering spoke to the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

၃ဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌ အနာ ရောဂါကို ငြိမ်းစေအပ် သလော ဟု ဖာရိရှဲ နှင့် ကျမ်းတတ် တို့ကို မေး တော်မူလျှင် ၊

4 And they were silent, and having taken hold of [him], He healed him, and let [him] go;

၄သူတို့သည်တိတ်ဆိတ် စွာနေကြ၏။ ယေရှုသည် ထိုသူ ကိုယူ ၍ အနာ ရောဂါနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်စေပြီးမှ ၊ လွှတ်လိုက် တော်မူ၏။

5 and answering them He said, “Of which of you will a donkey or ox fall into a pit, and he will not immediately draw it up on the Sabbath day?”

၅ပရိသတ် တို့ကိုလည်း ၊ မိမိမြည်း၊ နွား သည် ဥပုသ်နေ့ ၌ တွင်း ထဲသို့ ကျ လျှင် ချက်ခြင်း မ ဆွဲ မတင်ဘဲ နေ မည့်သူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် သည် သင် တို့တွင်ရှိသလော ဟု မေး တော်မူလျှင်၊

6 And they were not able to answer Him again to these things.

၆ထို သူတို့သည် စကားတစ်ခွန်းကိုမျှ မပြန် နိုင် ကြ။

7 And He spoke an allegory to those called, marking how they were choosing out the first couches, saying to them,

၇ထိုအခါ ခေါ်ဘိတ် သောသူ တို့သည် မြင့်မြတ် သောနေရာထိုင်ရာကို ရွေး ကြသည်ကို မြင် တော်မူလျှင်၊ သူ တို့အား ဥပမာ ကို မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊

8 “When you may be called by anyone to wedding feasts, you may not recline on the first couch, lest [one] more honorable than you may have been called by him,

၈သူတစ်ပါး သည် မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲ သို့ သင့်ကိုခေါ်ဘိတ် သောအခါ ၊ မြင့်မြတ် သောနေရာ၌ မ လျောင်း နှင့်။ ထိုသို့ လျောင်းလျှင် သင့် ထက် သာ၍မြတ်သောသူသည် ပွဲသို့လာ သည်ရှိ သော်၊

9 and he who called you and him having come will say to you, Give to this one [your] place, and then you may begin to occupy the last place with shame.

၉သင်တို့နှစ်ယောက်ကို ခေါ်ဖိတ် သောသူ က၊ ဤ သူအား နေရာ ကိုပေး လော့ဟုလာ ၍ ပြော လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအခါ သင်သည် ရှက်ကြောက် ခြင်းနှင့် နိမ့် သောနေရာ သို့ ဆင်း ရလိမ့်မည်။

10 But when you may be called, having gone on, recline in the last place, that when he who called you may come, he may say to you, Friend, come up higher; then you will have glory before those dining with you;

၁၀သူတစ်ပါးတို့သည် သင့်ကို ခေါ်ဘိတ် သောအခါ ၊ သွား ၍ နိမ့် သောနေရာ ၌ လျောင်း လော့။ ထိုသို့ လျောင်း လျှင် သင့် ကိုခေါ်ဘိတ် သောသူ လာ သည်ရှိသော် ၊ အဆွေ ၊ တက် ပါဟုသင့် ကိုဆို လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအခါ သင် နှင့်အတူလျောင်း သောသူ တို့ရှေ့ မှာ သင် ၏အသရေ ထင်ရှား လိမ့်မည်။

11 because everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, and he who is humbling himself will be exalted.”

၁၁ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် ချီးမြှောက် သောသူ မည်သည်ကားနှိမ့်ချ ခြင်းသို့ရောက်လတံ့။ ကိုယ်ကိုကိုယ် နှိမ့်ချ သော သူ မည်သည်ကားချီးမြှောက် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လတံ့ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

12 And He also said to him who called Him, “When you may make an early meal or a dinner, do not be calling your friends, nor your brothers, nor your relatives, nor rich neighbors, lest they may also call you again, and a repayment may come to you;

၁၂ကိုယ်တော် ကို ခေါ်ပင့် သောသူ အား တစ်ဖန်မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သင်သည် နံနက်စာ ၊ ညစာ လုပ်ကျွေး သောအခါ ၊ အဆွေ ခင်ပွန်း၊ ညီအစ်ကို အမျိုးသား ချင်း၊ ငွေရတတ် သော အိမ်နီးချင်း များကို မ ခေါ် မဖိတ် နှင့်။ ထိုသို့ဖိတ်ခေါ်လျှင်၊ သူ တို့သည် နောက်တစ်ဖန် သင့် ကိုဖိတ်ခေါ်၍ ကျေးဇူးဆပ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

13 but when you may make a feast, be calling poor, maimed, lame, blind,

၁၃သင်သည် ပွဲ ခံ သောအခါ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ၊ အင်္ဂါ ချို့တဲ့သောသူ၊ ခြေမစွမ်း သောသူ၊ မျက်စိ ကန်းသော သူများကို ခေါ်ဘိတ် လော့။

14 and you will be blessed, because they have nothing to repay you, for it will be repaid to you in the resurrection of the righteous.”

၁၄ထိုသို့ခေါ်ဘိတ်လျှင် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ လိမ့်မည်။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ကျေးဇူးမ ဆပ် နိုင် သည် ဖြစ်၍ ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ တို့သည် ထမြောက် သည် ကာလ၌ သင် သည် ကျေးဇူးဆပ် ခြင်းအကျိုးကိုခံရလတံ့ ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

15 And one of those dining with Him, having heard these things, said to Him, “Blessed [is] he who will eat bread in the Kingdom of God”;

၁၅စားပွဲ၌ လျောင်း သော သူ တစ် ယောက်သည် ထို စကားတော်ကို ကြား လျှင် ၊ ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံ တော်၌ ပွဲဝင် သောသူ သည် မင်္ဂလာ ရှိ၏ဟု လျှောက် သော်၊

16 and He said to him, “A certain man made a great dinner, and called many,

၁၆ကိုယ်တော်က၊ လူ တစ်ဦး သည် ကြီးစွာ သောပွဲ ကို စီရင် ၍ ၊ လူများ တို့ကို ခေါ်ဘိတ် လေ၏။

17 and he sent his servant at the hour of the dinner to say to those having been called, Be coming, because now all things are ready.

၁၇ပွဲ ခံချိန် ရောက်သောအခါ ၊ ခေါ်ဘိတ် သောသူ တို့ကို၊ လာ ကြပါ။ အလုံးစုံတို့သည် အသင့် ရှိ ပြီဟု မှာ ၍ အစေအပါး ကို စေလွှတ် ၏။

18 And all began with one [voice] to excuse themselves. The first said to him, I bought a field, and I have need to go forth and see it; I beg of you, have me excused.

၁၈ခေါ်အပ်သော သူအပေါင်း တို့သည် တစ်ညီတစ်ညွတ် တည်းပရိယာယ်ပြု ကြ၏။ တစ် ယောက်က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မြေရာ ကို ဝယ် ပါပြီ။ သွား ၍ ကြည့် ရ ပါမည်။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို လွှတ် ပါဦးလော့ဟု တောင်းပန် လေ၏။

19 And another said, I bought five yoke of oxen, and I go on to prove them; I beg of you, have me excused.

၁၉တစ် ယောက်က အကျွန်ုပ်သည် နွား ငါး ယဉ် ကို ဝယ် ပါပြီ။ သွား ၍ စမ်း ရပါမည်။ အကျွန်ုပ် ကို လွှတ် ပါဦး လော့ဟု တောင်းပန် လေ၏။

20 And another said, I married a wife, and because of this I am not able to come.

၂၀တစ် ယောက်က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် မယား နှင့် လက်ထပ် ပါပြီ။ ထိုကြောင့် အကျွန်ုပ်မ လာ နိုင် ပါဟုဆို ၏။

21 And that servant having come, told these things to his lord, then the master of the house, having been angry, said to his servant, Go forth quickly into the broad places and lanes of the city, and the poor, and maimed, and lame, and blind, bring in here.

၂၁အစေအပါး သည် သခင့် ထံသို့ပြန်လာ ၍ ထို အကြောင်းများကိုလျှောက် လေ၏။ ထိုအခါ အိမ်ရှင် သည် အမျက်ထွက် ၍၊ မြို့ လမ်းမ လမ်းကြား သို့ အသော့ သွား ချေ။ ဆင်းရဲ သောသူ ၊ အင်္ဂါ ချို့တဲ့သောသူ၊ ခြေမစွမ်း သောသူ၊ မျက်စိ ကန်းသောသူများကို ခေါ်သွင်း ချေဟု အစေအပါး ကို ဆို ၏။

22 And the servant said, Lord, it has been done as you commanded, and still there is room.

၂၂အစေအပါး ကလည်း ၊ သခင် စီရင် တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း ပြု ပါပြီ။ သို့သော်လည်း လပ်သောနေရာထိုင်ရာ ရှိ ပါသေး သည်ဟု လျှောက် လေသော်၊

23 And the lord said to the servant, Go forth into the ways and hedges, and constrain to come in, that my house may be filled;

၂၃သခင် က၊ မြို့ပြင်၊ လမ်းမ ၊ ခြံနား သို့ သွား ဦးလော့။ ငါ့ အိမ် ကို ပြည့် စေခြင်းငှာ အနိုင် အထက်ခေါ်သွင်း လော့။

24 for I say to you that none of those men who have been called will taste of my dinner.”

၂၄အထက်က ခေါ်ဘိတ် သောသူ တစ်ယောက်မျှ ငါ့ ပွဲ သို့ မဝင် ရ၊ ငါအမိန့်ရှိ ပြီဟု အစေအပါး ကို ဆို သည် ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

25 And there were going on with Him great multitudes, and having turned, He said to them,

၂၅လူ အစုအဝေးအပေါင်း တို့သည် နောက်တော်သို့လိုက် ကြသည်ကို ယေရှုသည်လှည့် ၍ကြည့်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ၊

26 “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brothers, and sisters, and yet even his own life, he is not able to be My disciple;

၂၆အကြင်သူ သည် ငါ့ ထံသို့ လာ ၍ မိဘ ၊ သား မယား ၊ ညီအစ်ကို ၊ နှမ တို့ကို၎င်း ၊ ထိုမျှမက မိမိ အသက် ကိုမ မုန်း ၊ ထိုသူသည် ငါ့ တပည့် မ ဖြစ် နိုင် ရာ။

27 and whoever does not carry his cross, and come after Me, is not able to be My disciple.

၂၇အကြင်သူ သည် မိမိ လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင် ကိုထမ်း ၍ ငါ့ နောက် သို့မ လိုက် ၊ ထိုသူသည် ငါ့ တပည့် မ ဖြစ် နိုင် ရာ။

28 For who of you, willing to build a tower, does not first, having sat down, count the expense, whether he has the things for completing?

၂၈သင် တို့တွင် တစ်ယောက်သောသူသည် တိုက် ကို တည် မည်ဟု အကြံရှိလျှင် ၊ ထိုတိုက်ပြီး အောင်ငွေ လောက် မည်မလောက်မည်ကို သိခြင်းငှာ၊ ရှေးဦးစွာ ထိုင် ၍ ကုန် စရိတ်ကို မ ချင့်တွက် ဘဲနေမည်လော။

29 Lest that he having laid a foundation, and not being able to finish, all who are beholding may begin to mock him,

၂၉သို့မဟုတ် တိုက်မြစ် ကိုတည် ၍ တိုက်ကို မ ပြီး နိုင် လျှင်၊ သိမြင် သောသူ အပေါင်း တို့က၊

30 saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

၃၀ဤ သူ သည် တည် စ ပြု၍ အစ မ သတ်နိုင် ဟု ကဲ့ရဲ့ ကြလိမ့်မည်။

31 Or what king going on to engage with another king in war, does not, having sat down, first consult if he with ten thousand is able to meet him who is coming against him with twenty thousand?

၃၁တစ်နည်းကား ၊ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သော ရှင်ဘုရင် သည် အခြား သောရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် စစ် ပြိုင် မည်ဟု အကြံရှိလျှင် ၊ လူနှစ်သောင်း နှင့် ချီလာ သော ရှင်ဘုရင်ကို လူတစ်သောင်း နှင့် ခံ နိုင်မည်မခံနိုင်မည်ကို ရှေးဦးစွာ ထိုင် ၍ မ ဆင်ခြင် ဘဲ နေမည်လော။

32 And if not so—he being yet a long way off—having sent a delegation, he asks the things for peace.

၃၂မ ခံနိုင်သည် မှန်လျှင် ၊ အခြားသောရှင်ဘုရင် ဝေး သေးသောအခါ သံတမန် ကို စေလွှတ် ၍ စစ်ငြိမ်း မည် အကြောင်း တောင်းပန် တတ်သည်မဟုတ်လော။

33 So, then, everyone of you who does not take leave of all that he himself has, is not able to be My disciple.

၃၃ထိုနည်းတူ ၊ သင် တို့တွင် အကြင်သူ သည် မိမိ ၌ရှိသမျှ ကို မ စွန့် ဘဲနေ၏။ ထိုသူသည် ငါ့ တပည့် မ ဖြစ် နိုင် ရာ။

34 The salt [is] good, but if the salt becomes tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?

၃၄ဆား မူကား ကောင်း ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း အငန် ကင်းပျောက်လျှင် ငန်သောအရသာ ကို အဘယ်သို့ ရ ပြန်မည်နည်း။

35 It is neither fit for land nor for manure—they cast it outside. He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.”

၃၅မြေ ဘို့ မ ကောင်း ၊ အမှိုက်ပုံ ဘို့ မ ကောင်း၊ ထိုဆား ကို ပြင် သို့ပစ် လိုက်တတ်၏။ ကြား စရာနား ရှိ သော သူ မည်သည်ကားကြား ပါစေ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
