Luke 12

1 At which time the myriads of the multitude having been gathered together, so as to tread on one another, He began to say to His disciples, first, “Take heed to yourselves of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy;

۱ و در آن میان، وقتی که هزاران از خلق جمع شدند، به نوعی که یکدیگر راپایمال می‌کردند، به شاگردان خود به سخن‌گفتن شروع کرد. «اول آنکه از خمیرمایه فریسیان که ریاکاری است احتیاط کنید.

2 and there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hid that will not be known;

۲ زیرا چیزی نهفته نیست که آشکار نشود و نه مستوری که معلوم نگردد.

3 because whatever you said in the darkness will be heard in the light, and what you spoke to the ear in the inner-chambers will be proclaimed on the housetops.

۳ بنابراین آنچه در تاریکی گفته‌اید، درروشنایی شنیده خواهد شد و آنچه در خلوتخانه در گوش گفته‌اید بر پشت بامها ندا شود.

4 And I say to you, my friends, do not be afraid of those killing the body, and after these things are not having anything more to do;

۴ لیکن‌ای دوستان من، به شما می‌گویم از قاتلان جسم که قدرت ندارند بیشتر از این بکنند، ترسان مباشید.

5 but I will show to you whom you may fear: fear Him who, after the killing, is having authority to cast into Gehenna; yes, I say to you, fear Him. (Geenna g1067)

۵ بلکه به شما نشان می‌دهم که از که باید ترسید، از او بترسید که بعد از کشتن، قدرت دارد که به جهنم بیفکند. بلی به شما می‌گویم از او بترسید. (Geenna g1067)

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria? And one of them is not forgotten before God,

۶ آیا پنج گنجشک به دو فلس فروخته نمی شود وحال آنکه یکی از آنها نزد خدا فراموش نمی شود؟

7 but even the hairs of your head have all been numbered; therefore do not fear, you are of more value than many sparrows.

۷ بلکه مویهای سر شما همه شمرده شده است. پس بیم مکنید، زیرا که از چندان گنجشک بهتر هستید.

8 And I say to you, everyone who may confess in Me before men, the Son of Man will also confess in him before the messengers of God,

۸ «لیکن به شما می‌گویم هر‌که نزد مردم به من اقرار کند، پسر انسان نیز پیش فرشتگان خدا او رااقرار خواهد کرد.

9 and he who has denied Me before men, will be denied before the messengers of God,

۹ اما هر‌که مرا پیش مردم انکارکند، نزد فرشتگان خدا انکار کرده خواهد شد.

10 and everyone who will say a word to the Son of Man, it will be forgiven to him, but the [one] having slandered to the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

۱۰ و هر‌که سخنی برخلاف پسر انسان گوید، آمرزیده شود. اما هر‌که به روح‌القدس کفر گویدآمرزیده نخواهد شد.

11 And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, do not be anxious how or what you may reply, or what you may say,

۱۱ و چون شما را درکنایس و به نزد حکام و دیوانیان برند، اندیشه مکنید که چگونه و به چه نوع حجت آورید یا چه بگویید.

12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that hour what [you] should say.”

۱۲ زیرا که در همان ساعت روح‌القدس شما را خواهد آموخت که چه باید گفت.»

13 And a certain one out of the multitude said to Him, “Teacher, say to my brother to divide with me the inheritance.”

۱۳ و شخصی از آن جماعت به وی گفت: «ای استاد، برادر مرا بفرما تا ارث پدر را با من تقسیم کند.»

14 And He said to him, “Man, who set Me a judge or a divider over you?”

۱۴ به وی گفت: «ای مرد که مرا بر شما داوریا مقسم قرار داده است؟»

15 And He said to them, “Observe, and beware of the covetousness, because his life is not in the abundance of one’s goods.”

۱۵ پس بدیشان گفت: «زنهار از طمع بپرهیزید زیرا اگرچه اموال کسی زیاد شود، حیات او از اموالش نیست.»

16 And He spoke an allegory to them, saying, “Of a certain rich man the field brought forth well;

۱۶ و مثلی برای ایشان آورده، گفت: «شخصی دولتمند را از املاکش محصول وافر پیدا شد.

17 and he was reasoning within himself, saying, What will I do, because I have nowhere I will gather together my fruits?

۱۷ پس با خود اندیشیده، گفت چه کنم؟ زیراجایی که محصول خود را انبار کنم، ندارم.

18 And he said, This I will do, I will take down my storehouses, and I will build greater ones, and I will gather together there all my products and my good things,

۱۸ پس گفت چنین می‌کنم انبارهای خود را خراب کرده، بزرگتر بنا می‌کنم و در آن تمامی حاصل و اموال خود را جمع خواهم کرد.

19 and I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many good things laid up for many years, be resting, eat, drink, be merry.

۱۹ و نفس خود راخواهم گفت که‌ای جان اموال فراوان اندوخته شده بجهت چندین سال داری. الحال بیارام و به اکل و شرب و شادی بپرداز.

20 And God said to him, Unthinking [one]! This night your life is required of you, and what things you prepared—to whom will they be [given]?

۲۰ خدا وی را گفت‌ای احمق در همین شب جان تو را از تو خواهندگرفت، آنگاه آنچه اندوخته‌ای، از آن که خواهدبود؟

21 So [is] he who is treasuring up to himself, and is not rich toward God.”

۲۱ همچنین است هر کسی‌که برای خودذخیره کند و برای خدا دولتمند نباشد.»

22 And He said to His disciples, “Because of this, to you I say, do not be anxious for your life, what you may eat; nor for the body, what you may put on;

۲۲ پس به شاگردان خود گفت: «از این جهت به شما می‌گویم که اندیشه مکنید بجهت جان خودکه چه بخورید و نه برای بدن که چه بپوشید.

23 life is more than nourishment, and the body than clothing.

۲۳ جان از خوراک و بدن از پوشاک بهتر است.

24 Consider the ravens, that they do not sow, nor reap, to which there is no barn nor storehouse, and God nourishes them; how much better are you than the birds?

۲۴ کلاغان را ملاحظه کنید که نه زراعت می‌کنندو نه حصاد و نه گنجی و نه انباری دارند و خدا آنهارا می‌پروراند. آیا شما به چند مرتبه از مرغان بهترنیستید؟

25 And who of you, being anxious, is able to add to his age one cubit?

۲۵ و کیست از شما که به فکر بتواندذراعی بر قامت خود افزاید.

26 If, then, you are not able for the least—why are you anxious for the rest?

۲۶ پس هرگاه توانایی کوچکترین کاری را ندارید چرا برای مابقی می اندیشید.

27 Consider the lilies, how do they grow? They do not labor, nor do they spin, and I say to you, not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed as one of these;

۲۷ سوسنهای چمن را بنگریدچگونه نمو می‌کنند و حال آنکه نه زحمت می‌کشند و نه می‌ریسند، اما به شما می‌گویم که سلیمان با همه جلالش مثل یکی از اینها پوشیده نبود.

28 and if the herbage in the field, that today is, and tomorrow is cast into an oven, God so clothes, how much more you of little faith?

۲۸ پس هرگاه خدا علفی را که امروز درصحرا است و فردا در تنور افکنده می‌شود چنین می‌پوشاند، چقدر بیشتر شما را‌ای سست‌ایمانان.

29 And you—do not seek what you may eat, or what you may drink, and do not be in suspense,

۲۹ پس شما طالب مباشید که چه بخوریدیا چه بیاشامید و مضطرب مشوید.

30 for the nations of the world seek after all these things, and your Father has known that you have need of these things;

۳۰ زیرا که امت های جهان، همه این چیزها را می‌طلبند، لیکن پدر شما می‌داند که به این چیزها احتیاج دارید.

31 but seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.

۳۱ بلکه ملکوت خدا را طلب کنید که جمیع این چیزها برای شما افزوده خواهد شد.

32 Do not fear, little flock, because your Father delighted to give you the kingdom;

۳۲ ترسان مباشید‌ای گله کوچک، زیرا که مرضی پدر شما است که ملکوت را به شما عطافرماید.

33 sell your goods, and give alms, make to yourselves bags that do not become old, a treasure unfailing in the heavens, where thief does not come near, nor moth destroy;

۳۳ آنچه دارید بفروشید و صدقه دهید وکیسه‌ها بسازید که کهنه نشود و گنجی را که تلف نشود، در آسمان جایی که دزد نزدیک نیاید و بیدتباه نسازد.

34 for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

۳۴ زیرا جایی که خزانه شما است، دل شما نیز در آنجا می‌باشد.

35 Let your loins be girded, and the lamps burning,

۳۵ کمرهای خود را بسته چراغهای خود راافروخته بدارید.

36 and you [be] like to men waiting for their lord when he will return out of the wedding feasts, that he having come and knocked, immediately they may open to him.

۳۶ و شما مانند کسانی باشید که انتظار آقای خود را می‌کشند که چه وقت ازعروسی مراجعت کند تا هروقت آید و در رابکوبد، بی‌درنگ برای او بازکنند.

37 Blessed those servants, whom the lord, having come, will find watching; truly I say to you that he will gird himself, and will cause them to recline, and having come near, will minister to them;

۳۷ خوشابحال آن غلامان که آقای ایشان چون آید ایشان را بیداریابد. هر آینه به شما می‌گویم که کمر خود را بسته ایشان را خواهد نشانید و پیش آمده، ایشان راخدمت خواهد کرد.

38 and if he may come in the second watch, and in the third watch he may come, and may find [it] so, blessed are those servants.

۳۸ و اگر در پاس دوم یا سوم از شب بیاید و ایشان را چنین یابد، خوشا بحال آن غلامان.

39 And know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief comes, he would have watched, and would not have permitted his house to be broken through;

۳۹ اما این را بدانید که اگر صاحب‌خانه می‌دانست که دزد در چه ساعت می‌آید، بیدارمی ماند و نمی گذاشت که به خانه‌اش نقب زنند.

40 and you, then, become ready, because at the hour you do not think, the Son of Man comes.”

۴۰ پس شما نیز مستعد باشید، زیرا در ساعتی که گمان نمی برید پسر انسان می‌آید.»

41 And Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this allegory to us, or also to all?”

۴۱ پطرس به وی گفت: «ای خداوند، آیا این مثل را برای ما زدی یا بجهت همه.»

42 And the LORD said, “Who, then, is the faithful and prudent steward whom the lord will set over his household, to give in season the wheat measure?

۴۲ خداوندگفت: «پس کیست آن ناظر امین و دانا که مولای اووی را بر سایر خدام خود گماشته باشد تا آذوقه را در وقتش به ایشان تقسیم کند.

43 Blessed that servant, whom his lord, having come, will find doing so;

۴۳ خوشابحال آن غلام که آقایش چون آید، او را در چنین کارمشغول یابد.

44 truly I say to you that he will set him over all his goods.

۴۴ هرآینه به شما می‌گویم که او رابر همه مایملک خود خواهد گماشت.

45 And if that servant may say in his heart, My lord delays to come, and may begin to beat the menservants and the maidservants, to eat also, and to drink, and to be drunken,

۴۵ لیکن اگر آن غلام در خاطر خود گوید، آمدن آقایم به طول می‌انجامد و به زدن غلامان و کنیزان و به خوردن و نوشیدن و میگساریدن شروع کند،

46 the lord of that servant will come in a day in which he does not look for [him], and in an hour that he does not know, and will cut him off, and he will appoint his portion with the unfaithful.

۴۶ هرآینه مولای آن غلام آید، در روزی که منتظر او نباشد و در ساعتی که او نداند و او را دوپاره کرده نصیبش را با خیانتکاران قرار دهد.

47 And that servant, who having known his lord’s will, and having not prepared, nor having gone according to his will, will be beaten with many stripes,

۴۷ «اما آن غلامی که اراده مولای خویش رادانست و خود را مهیا نساخت تا به اراده او عمل نماید، تازیانه بسیار خواهد خورد.

48 and he who, not having known, and having done things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few; and to everyone to whom much was given, much will be required from him; and to whom they committed much, more abundantly they will ask of him.

۴۸ اما آنکه نادانسته کارهای شایسته ضرب کند، تازیانه کم خواهد خورد. و به هر کسی‌که عطا زیاده شود ازوی مطالبه زیادتر گردد و نزد هر‌که امانت بیشترنهند از او بازخواست زیادتر خواهند کرد.

49 I came to cast fire to the earth, and what I wish [is] if it were already kindled!

۴۹ من آمدم تا آتشی در زمین افروزم، پس چه می‌خواهم اگر الان در‌گرفته است.

50 But I have an immersion to be immersed with, and how I am pressed until it may be accomplished!

۵۰ اما مراتعمیدی است که بیابم و چه بسیار در تنگی هستم، تا وقتی که آن بسر‌آید.

51 Do you think that I came to give peace in the earth? No, I say to you, but rather division;

۵۱ آیا گمان می‌برید که من آمده‌ام تا سلامتی بر زمین بخشم؟ نی بلکه به شما می‌گویم تفریق را.

52 for there will be from now on five in one house divided—three against two, and two against three;

۵۲ زیرا بعد ازاین پنج نفر که در یک خانه باشند دو از سه و سه ازدو جدا خواهند شد،

53 a father will be divided against a son, and a son against a father, a mother against a daughter, and a daughter against a mother, a mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

۵۳ پدر از پسر و پسر از پدرو مادر از دختر و دختر از مادر و خارسو ازعروس و عروس از خارسو مفارقت خواهندنمود.»

54 And He also said to the multitudes, “When you may see the cloud rising from the west, immediately you say, A shower comes, and it is so;

۵۴ آنگاه باز به آن جماعت گفت: «هنگامی که ابری بینید که از مغرب پدید آید، بی‌تامل می‌گویید باران می‌آید و چنین می‌شود.

55 and when a south wind is blowing, you say that there will be heat, and it is;

۵۵ و چون دیدید که باد جنوبی می‌وزد، می‌گویید گرما خواهد شد و می‌شود.

56 hypocrites! You have known to discern the face of the earth and of the sky, but how do you not discern this time?

۵۶ ‌ای ریاکاران، می‌توانید صورت زمین و آسمان راتمیز دهید، پس چگونه این زمان رانمی شناسید؟

57 And why, also, of yourselves, do you not judge what is righteous?

۵۷ و چرا از خود به انصاف حکم نمی کنید؟

58 For as you are going away with your opponent to the ruler, in the way give diligence to be released from him, lest he may drag you to the judge, and the judge may deliver you to the officer, and the officer may cast you into prison;

۵۸ و هنگامی که با مدعی خود نزد حاکم می‌روی، در راه سعی کن که از او برهی، مبادا تو رانزد قاضی بکشد و قاضی تو را به‌سرهنگ سپاردو سرهنگ تو را به زندان افکند.

59 I say to you, you may not come forth from there until even the last mite you may give back.”

۵۹ تو را می‌گویم تا فلس آخر را ادا نکنی، از آنجا هرگز بیرون نخواهی آمد.»
