Leviticus 8
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened things,
“Toma a Aarón, y con él a sus hijos, y también las vestiduras, el óleo de la unción, el becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado, los dos carneros, y el canasto de los ácimos;
3 and assemble all the congregation to the opening of the Tent of Meeting.”
y reúne a toda la comunidad a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.”
4 And Moses does as YHWH has commanded him, and the congregation is assembled to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
Moisés hizo como Yahvé le había mandado, y se reunió la comunidad a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
5 and Moses says to the congregation, “This [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded to do.”
Y dijo Moisés a la asamblea: “Esto es lo que Yahvé ha ordenado que se haga.”
6 And Moses brings Aaron and his sons near, and bathes them with water,
Entonces mandó Moisés que se acercaran Aarón y sus hijos y los lavó con agua.
7 and puts the coat on him, and girds him with the girdle, and clothes him with the upper robe, and puts the ephod on him, and girds him with the girdle of the ephod, and binds [it] to him with it,
Puso (sobre Aarón) la túnica, le ciñó con el cinturón y le vistió con el manto, poniéndole encima el efod, que le ciñó con el cinturón del efod para atárselo.
8 and puts the breastplate on him, and puts the Lights and the Perfections into the breastplate,
Luego le puso el pectoral, en el cual depositó los Urim y Tummim.
9 and puts the turban on his head, and puts the golden flower of the holy crown on the turban, toward the front of its face, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Colocó también la mitra sobre su cabeza y puso al frente de ella la lámina de oro, la diadema santa, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
10 And Moses takes the anointing oil, and anoints the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and sanctifies them;
Después tomó Moisés el óleo de la unción y ungió la Morada, con todas las cosas que había en ella, para consagrarlas.
11 and he sprinkles of it on the altar seven times, and anoints the altar, and all its vessels, and the laver, and its base, to sanctify them;
Con parte de él roció siete veces el altar y lo ungió con todos sus utensilios, como también la pila con su base, para consagrarlos.
12 and he pours of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anoints him to sanctify him.
Y derramando parte del óleo de la unción sobre la cabeza de Aarón, lo ungió para consagrarlo.
13 And Moses brings the sons of Aaron near, and clothes them [with] coats, and girds them [with] girdles, and binds caps to them, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Luego mandó Moisés que se acercaran los hijos de Aarón, a los cuales vistió con las túnicas, les ciñó el cinturón y les ató los turbantes, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
14 And he brings the bullock of the sin-offering near, and Aaron lays—his sons also—their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin-offering,
Después hizo traer el becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado, y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron sus manos sobre la cabeza del becerro del sacrificio por el pecado.
15 and [one] slaughters, and Moses takes the blood, and puts [it] around the horns of the altar with his finger, and cleanses the altar, and he has poured out the blood at the foundation of the altar, and sanctifies it, to make atonement on it.
Moisés lo degolló; y tomando de la sangre la puso con su dedo sobre los cuernos del altar, todo en torno, para purificarlo del pecado. Después derramó la sangre al pie del altar; de esta manera lo consagró haciendo sobre él la expiación.
16 And he takes all the fat that [is] on the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses makes incense on the altar,
Tomó luego todo el sebo que cubre las entrañas, la telilla del hígado y los dos riñones con su sebo; y lo quemó Moisés sobre el altar.
17 and the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he has burned with fire, at the outside of the camp, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Mas el becerro con su piel, su carne y sus excrementos, lo quemó fuera del campamento, como Yahvé había ordenado a Moisés.
18 And he brings the ram of the burnt-offering near, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,
Después hizo traer el carnero del holocausto, sobre cuya cabeza Aarón y sus hijos pusieron las manos.
19 and [one] slaughters, and Moses sprinkles the blood around the altar;
Moisés lo degolló y roció con la sangre el altar por todos lados.
20 and he has cut the ram into its pieces, and Moses makes incense with the head, and the pieces, and the fat,
El carnero fue descuartizado, y Moisés quemó la cabeza, los trozos y el sebo;
21 and he has washed the innards and the legs with water, and Moses makes incense with the whole ram on the altar; it [is] a burnt-offering for refreshing fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
y después de lavarlas en agua también las entrañas y las patas, de manera que Moisés quemó todo el carnero sobre el altar, como holocausto de olor grato, un sacrificio de combustión en honor de Yahvé, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
22 And he brings the second ram near, a ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,
Hizo luego traer el segundo carnero, el carnero de la consagración, y Aarón y sus hijos pusieron sus manos sobre la cabeza del carnero.
23 and [one] slaughters, and Moses takes of its blood, and puts [it] on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;
Moisés lo degolló, y tomando de su sangre la puso sobre el lóbulo de la oreja derecha de Aarón, sobre el pulgar de su mano derecha y sobre el dedo gordo de su pie derecho.
24 and he brings the sons of Aaron near, and Moses puts of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot. And Moses sprinkles the blood around the altar,
Después hizo Moisés acercar a los hijos de Aarón, les untó con la sangre el lóbulo de la oreja derecha, el pulgar de la mano derecha y el dedo gordo del pie derecho y derramó la sangre sobre el altar todo en derredor.
25 and takes the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that [is] on the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right leg;
Tomó luego el sebo, la cola, todo el sebo que cubre las entrañas, la telilla del hígado, los dos riñones con su sebo y la espaldilla derecha,
26 and out of the basket of unleavened things, which [is] before YHWH, he has taken one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake, and puts [them] on the fat, and on the right leg;
sacó del canasto de los ácimos que estaba ante Yahvé, una torta de pan ácimo, una torta de pan de aceite y una galleta y las puso sobre el sebo y sobre la espaldilla derecha.
27 and he puts the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and waves them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH.
Entregó todo esto en las manos de Aarón y en las manos de sus hijos, haciéndolo mecer como ofrenda ante Yahvé.
28 And Moses takes them from off their hands, and makes incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering—they [are] consecrations for refreshing fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH;
Recibiéndolo otra vez de manos de ellos Moisés lo quemó en el altar, encima del holocausto, como sacrificio de consagración, de olor grato, como sacrificio de combustión en honor de Yahvé.
29 and Moses takes the breast, and waves it [as] a wave-offering before YHWH; it has been for Moses for a portion of the ram of the consecrations, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Moisés tomó entonces el pecho y lo meció como ofrenda ante Yahvé; era esta la porción del carnero de la consagración que tocaba a Moisés, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
30 And Moses takes of the anointing oil, and of the blood which [is] on the altar, and sprinkles [them] on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he sanctifies Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
Después tomó Moisés del óleo de la unción y de la sangre que había encima del altar y roció a Aarón y sus vestiduras, y a la vez a sus hijos y las vestiduras de sus hijos. Así consagró a Aarón y sus vestiduras, y con él a sus hijos y las vestiduras de sus hijos.
31 And Moses says to Aaron and to his sons, “Boil the flesh at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and there you eat it and the bread which [is] in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons eat it.
Y dijo Moisés a Aarón y a sus hijos: “Coced la carne a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión. Comedla allí mismo como también el pan que está en el canasto de la consagración, respecto del cual yo he mandado diciendo: Aarón y sus hijos la comerán.
32 And the remnant of the flesh and of the bread you burn with fire;
Lo restante de la carne y del pan lo quemaréis en el fuego.
33 and you do not go out from the opening of the Tent of Meeting [for] seven days, until the day of the fullness, the days of your consecration—for seven days he consecrates your hand;
Y no saldréis de la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión por siete días, hasta el día en que se cumplan los días de vuestra consagración; porque siete días durará vuestra consagración.
34 as he has done on this day, YHWH has commanded to do, to make atonement for you;
Como se ha hecho hoy, así ha mandado Yahvé que se haga (los siete días) a fin de expiaros.
35 and you abide at the opening of the Tent of Meeting by day and by night [for] seven days, and you have kept the charge of YHWH, and do not die, for so I have been commanded.”
Durante siete días os quedaréis día y noche a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión, guardando el mandato de Yahvé para que no muráis, porque así me fue ordenado.”
36 And Aaron does—his sons also—all the things which YHWH has commanded by the hand of Moses.
Hicieron Aarón y sus hijos todo cuanto Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
