Leviticus 8
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes:
2 “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened things,
Prends Aaron et ses fils avec lui et les costumes et l'huile d'onction et le taureau d'expiation et les deux béliers et la corbeille des azymes
3 and assemble all the congregation to the opening of the Tent of Meeting.”
et convoque toute l'Assemblée à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous.
4 And Moses does as YHWH has commanded him, and the congregation is assembled to the opening of the Tent of Meeting,
Et Moïse exécuta l'ordre de l'Éternel, et l'Assemblée se réunit à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous.
5 and Moses says to the congregation, “This [is] the thing which YHWH has commanded to do.”
Alors Moïse dit à l'Assemblée: Voici ce que l'Éternel a commandé de faire.
6 And Moses brings Aaron and his sons near, and bathes them with water,
Et Moïse amena Aaron et ses fils et fit leurs ablutions avec l'eau,
7 and puts the coat on him, and girds him with the girdle, and clothes him with the upper robe, and puts the ephod on him, and girds him with the girdle of the ephod, and binds [it] to him with it,
et il lui mit la Tunique et le ceignit de la Ceinture et le revêtit de la Robe et lui mit l'Ephod et il le ceignit de la ceinture de l'Ephod dont il le revêtit.
8 and puts the breastplate on him, and puts the Lights and the Perfections into the breastplate,
Et il lui mit le Pectoral, et plaça sur le Pectoral l'Urim et le Thummim.
9 and puts the turban on his head, and puts the golden flower of the holy crown on the turban, toward the front of its face, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Et il lui couvrit la tête du Turban sur le devant duquel il fixa la Plaque d'or, diadème sacré, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
10 And Moses takes the anointing oil, and anoints the Dwelling Place, and all that [is] in it, and sanctifies them;
Et Moïse prit l'huile d'onction et oignit la Résidence et toutes les choses qui y sont, et ainsi, les consacra;
11 and he sprinkles of it on the altar seven times, and anoints the altar, and all its vessels, and the laver, and its base, to sanctify them;
et il en fit sept aspersions contre l'Autel, et il oignit l'Autel et tous ses ustensiles, et le Bassin et son support, afin de les consacrer.
12 and he pours of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron, and anoints him to sanctify him.
Et il répandit de l'huile d'onction sur la tête d'Aaron et l'oignit afin de le consacrer.
13 And Moses brings the sons of Aaron near, and clothes them [with] coats, and girds them [with] girdles, and binds caps to them, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Et Moïse fit avancer les fils d'Aaron et les revêtit de tuniques et les ceignit de la ceinture, et leur attacha leurs bonnets, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
14 And he brings the bullock of the sin-offering near, and Aaron lays—his sons also—their hands on the head of the bullock of the sin-offering,
Et il fit amener le taureau expiatoire, et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du taureau expiatoire.
15 and [one] slaughters, and Moses takes the blood, and puts [it] around the horns of the altar with his finger, and cleanses the altar, and he has poured out the blood at the foundation of the altar, and sanctifies it, to make atonement on it.
Et Moïse l'égorgea, et prit le sang, et de son doigt il en mit aux cornes de l'Autel tout autour et fit la purification de l'Autel, et le [reste du] sang il le répandit au pied de l'Autel qu'il consacra pour qu'on pût y faire la propitiation.
16 And he takes all the fat that [is] on the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses makes incense on the altar,
Et il prit toute la graisse qui enveloppe les intestins, et le grand lobe du foie et les deux reins et leur graisse, et Moïse les fit fumer sur l'Autel.
17 and the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he has burned with fire, at the outside of the camp, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Puis il brûla au feu en dehors du camp le taureau et sa peau et sa chair et sa fiente, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
18 And he brings the ram of the burnt-offering near, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,
Et il offrit le bélier de l'holocauste, et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier.
19 and [one] slaughters, and Moses sprinkles the blood around the altar;
Et Moïse l'égorgea et en répandit le sang autour de l'Autel.
20 and he has cut the ram into its pieces, and Moses makes incense with the head, and the pieces, and the fat,
Et il détailla le bélier en ses quartiers, et Moïse fit fumer sur l'Autel la tête, les quartiers et la graisse.
21 and he has washed the innards and the legs with water, and Moses makes incense with the whole ram on the altar; it [is] a burnt-offering for refreshing fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Et il lava dans l'eau la fressure et les jambes, et Moïse, fit fumer le bélier entier sur l'Autel, en holocauste, en parfum agréable, en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
22 And he brings the second ram near, a ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons lay their hands on the head of the ram,
Et il offrit le second bélier, le bélier de l'installation, et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier.
23 and [one] slaughters, and Moses takes of its blood, and puts [it] on the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot;
Et Moïse l'égorgea et prit de son sang et en mit au bout de l'oreille droite d'Aaron et au pouce droit et au grand orteil droit.
24 and he brings the sons of Aaron near, and Moses puts of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot. And Moses sprinkles the blood around the altar,
Et il fit approcher les fils d'Aaron, et Moïse leur mit de ce sang au bout de l'oreille droite, au pouce droit et au grand orteil droit; et Moïse répandit le [reste du] sang autour de l'Autel.
25 and takes the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that [is] on the innards, and the redundance on the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right leg;
Et il prit la graisse et la queue grasse et toute la graisse qui enveloppe les intestins et le grand lobe du foie et les deux reins et leur graisse et l'éclanche droite;
26 and out of the basket of unleavened things, which [is] before YHWH, he has taken one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one thin cake, and puts [them] on the fat, and on the right leg;
et de la corbeille des azymes qui était devant l'Éternel il prit une galette azyme et une galette de pain avec de l'huile et une oublie qu'il posa sur les graisses et l'éclanche droite;
27 and he puts the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and waves them [as] a wave-offering before YHWH.
et il mit le tout dans les mains d'Aaron et dans les mains de ses fils, et le brandit en oblation agitée devant l'Éternel.
28 And Moses takes them from off their hands, and makes incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering—they [are] consecrations for refreshing fragrance; it [is] a fire-offering to YHWH;
Et Moïse retira ces choses de leurs mains, et les fit fumer sur l'Autel, sur l'holocauste, comme sacrifice d'installation, en parfum agréable, en sacrifice igné à l'Éternel.
29 and Moses takes the breast, and waves it [as] a wave-offering before YHWH; it has been for Moses for a portion of the ram of the consecrations, as YHWH has commanded Moses.
Et Moïse prit du bélier d'installation la poitrine et l'agita en oblation agitée devant l'Éternel, elle échut à Moïse pour sa part, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse.
30 And Moses takes of the anointing oil, and of the blood which [is] on the altar, and sprinkles [them] on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him, and he sanctifies Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.
Et Moïse prit de l'huile d'onction et du sang qui était sur l'Autel et en fit jaillir sur Aaron et sur ses vêtements, sur ses fils et sur les vêtements de ses fils avec lui, et consacra ainsi Aaron et ses vêtements et ses fils, et les vêtements de ses fils avec lui.
31 And Moses says to Aaron and to his sons, “Boil the flesh at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and there you eat it and the bread which [is] in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons eat it.
Et Moïse dit à Aaron et à ses fils: Faites cuire la chair à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous et l'y mangez, ainsi que le pain contenu dans la corbeille d'installation, comme je l'ai prescrit en disant: Aaron et ses fils la mangeront;
32 And the remnant of the flesh and of the bread you burn with fire;
et vous brûlerez au feu ce qui restera de la chair et du pain,
33 and you do not go out from the opening of the Tent of Meeting [for] seven days, until the day of the fullness, the days of your consecration—for seven days he consecrates your hand;
et pendant sept jours vous ne sortirez pas de la porte de la Tente du Rendez-vous jusqu'à ce que les jours de votre installation soient accomplis; car votre installation doit durer sept jours.
34 as he has done on this day, YHWH has commanded to do, to make atonement for you;
Ce qu'on a fait aujourd'hui, l'Éternel a ordonné de le faire comme propitiation pour vous;
35 and you abide at the opening of the Tent of Meeting by day and by night [for] seven days, and you have kept the charge of YHWH, and do not die, for so I have been commanded.”
et vous resterez jour et nuit pendant sept jours à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous, et vous observerez ce que vous êtes tenus d'observer envers l'Éternel, afin que vous ne mouriez pas; car tel est l'ordre que j'ai reçu.
36 And Aaron does—his sons also—all the things which YHWH has commanded by the hand of Moses.
Et Aaron et ses fils se conformèrent en tout point à l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné par Moïse.
