Leviticus 4
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, When a person sins through ignorance against any of the commands of YHWH [regarding things] which are not to be done, and has done [something] against one of these—
“Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Si alguno pecare por ignorancia haciendo algo prohibido por las leyes de Yahvé, y cometiendo alguna de aquellas cosas;
3 if the priest who is anointed sins according to the guilt of the people, then he has brought near for his sin which he has sinned a bullock, a son of the herd, a perfect one, to YHWH, for a sin-offering,
si el que peca es el sacerdote ungido, que de este modo hace culpable al pueblo, ofrecerá a Yahvé por el pecado cometido un becerro sin tacha, como sacrificio por el pecado.
4 and he has brought in the bullock to the opening of the Tent of Meeting before YHWH, and has laid his hand on the head of the bullock, and has slaughtered the bullock before YHWH.
Conducirá el becerro a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión, ante Yahvé, pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del becerro y lo inmolará delante de Yahvé.
5 And the priest who is anointed has taken of the blood of the bullock, and has brought it into the Tent of Meeting,
El sacerdote ungido tomará de la sangre del becerro, y la llevará al Tabernáculo de la Reunión;
6 and the priest has dipped his finger in the blood, and sprinkled of the blood seven times before YHWH, at the front of the veil of the holy place;
y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la sangre y hará con ella siete aspersiones ante Yahvé, hacia el velo del Santuario.
7 and the priest has put of the blood on the horns of the altar of spice-incense before YHWH, which [is] in the Tent of Meeting, and he pours out all the blood of the bullock at the foundation of the altar of the burnt-offering, which [is] at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.
El sacerdote untará también con la sangre los cuernos del altar del incienso aromático, que está delante de Yahvé en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y derramará toda la sangre del becerro al pie del altar de los holocaustos, que está a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
8 And he lifts up from it all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering, the fat which is covering over the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Después tomará todo el sebo del becerro inmolado por el pecado, el sebo que cubre las entrañas, todo el sebo que está adherido a las entrañas,
9 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
los dos riñones, el sebo que los cubre, el que hay sobre los ijares, y la telilla del hígado, que cortará de junto a los riñones;
10 as it is lifted up from the ox of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings; and the priest has made them an incense on the altar of the burnt-offering.
es decir, lo mismo que se toma en el becerro del sacrificio pacífico; y el sacerdote lo quemará sobre el altar de los holocaustos.
11 And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its innards, and its dung—
Mas el cuero del becerro y toda su carne, junto con su cabeza y sus piernas, con sus entrañas y sus excrementos,
12 he has even brought out the whole bullock to the outside of the camp, to a clean place, to the place of the pouring out of the ashes, and he has burned it on the wood with fire; it is burned beside the place of the pouring out of the ashes.
el becerro entero, lo sacará fuera del campamento a un lugar limpio, donde se echan las cenizas, y lo quemará sobre la leña. Será quemado allí donde se echan las cenizas.
13 And if all the congregation of Israel errs ignorantly, and the thing has been hidden from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done [something against] one of all the commands of YHWH [regarding things] which are not to be done, and have been guilty;
Si todo el pueblo de Israel pecare por ignorancia, sin que la asamblea se dé cuenta de ello, de modo que hiciera una cosa prohibida por las leyes de Yahvé, haciéndose así culpable,
14 when the sin which they have sinned concerning it has been known, then the assembly has brought a bullock near, a son of the herd, for a sin-offering, and they have brought it in before the Tent of Meeting;
cuando se conozca el pecado cometido, ofrecerá la asamblea un becerro en sacrificio por el pecado, que presentarán delante del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
15 and the elderly of the congregation have laid their hands on the head of the bullock, before YHWH, and [one] has slaughtered the bullock before YHWH.
Y los ancianos del pueblo pondrán sus manos sobre la cabeza del becerro, ante Yahvé; y será inmolado el becerro delante de Yahvé.
16 And the priest who is anointed has brought in of the blood of the bullock to the Tent of Meeting,
Después el sacerdote ungido llevará parte de la sangre del becerro al Tabernáculo de la Reunión;
17 and the priest has dipped his finger in the blood, and has sprinkled seven times before YHWH at the front of the veil,
y mojará el sacerdote su dedo en la sangre y hará siete aspersiones ante Yahvé hacia el velo.
18 and he puts [some] of the blood on the horns of the altar which [is] before YHWH, which [is] in the Tent of Meeting; and he pours out all the blood at the foundation of the altar of the burnt-offering, which [is] at the opening of the Tent of Meeting;
Untará también con la sangre los cuernos del altar que está delante de Yahvé y que se halla en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y después verterá toda la sangre al pie del altar de los holocaustos, que está a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
19 and he lifts up all its fat from it, and has made incense on the altar.
Le quitará todo su sebo y lo quemará sobre el altar.
20 And he has done to the bullock as he has done to the bullock of the sin-offering, so he does to it; and the priest has made atonement for them, and it has been forgiven them;
Hará, pues, con este becerro lo mismo que hizo con el becerro inmolado por el pecado. Así hará con él. De este modo el sacerdote hará expiación por ellos y serán reconciliados.
21 and he has brought out the bullock to the outside of the camp, and has burned it as he has burned the first bullock; it [is] a sin-offering of the assembly.
Luego sacará el becerro fuera del campamento y lo quemará como quemó el becerro primero. Este es el sacrificio por el pecado de toda la asamblea.
22 When a prince sins, and has done [something against] one of all the commands of his God YHWH [regarding things] which are not to be done, through ignorance, and has been guilty,
Cuando un príncipe pecare por ignorancia, cometiendo algo prohibido por las leyes de Yahvé, haciéndose así culpable,
23 or his sin wherein he has sinned has been made known to him, then he has brought in his offering, a kid of the goats, a male, a perfect one,
tan pronto como se diere cuenta del pecado que cometió, dará como ofrenda suya un macho cabrío sin tacha,
24 and he has laid his hand on the head of the goat, and has slaughtered it in the place where he slaughters the burnt-offering before YHWH; it [is] a sin-offering.
pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del macho cabrío y lo degollará en el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto, delante de Yahvé. Es sacrificio por el pecado.
25 And the priest has taken of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and has put [it] on the horns of the altar of the burnt-offering, and he pours out its blood at the foundation of the altar of the burnt-offering,
Después el sacerdote con su dedo tomará de la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado, y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos; la sangre (restante) la derramará al pie del altar de los holocaustos.
26 and he makes incense on the altar with all its fat, as the fat of the sacrifice of the peace-offerings; and the priest has made atonement for him because of his sin, and it has been forgiven him.
Quemará todo el sebo en el altar, del mismo modo que quemó el sebo de los sacrificios pacíficos. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por el pecado del (príncipe) y le será perdonado.
27 And if any person of the people of the land sins through ignorance, by his doing [something against] one of the commands of YHWH [regarding things] which are not to be done, and has been guilty,
Si alguno del pueblo pecare por ignorancia, transgrediendo alguna de las prohibiciones de Yahvé, haciéndose así culpable,
28 or his sin which he has sinned has been made known to him, then he has brought in his offering, a kid of the goats, a perfect one, a female, for his sin which he has sinned,
al darse cuenta del pecado cometido, dará como ofrenda por el pecado cometido una cabra, hembra, sin tacha,
29 and he has laid his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and has slaughtered the sin-offering in the place of the burnt-offering.
pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del sacrificio por el pecado y la degollará en el lugar donde se degüellan los holocaustos.
30 And the priest has taken of its blood with his finger, and has put [it] on the horns of the altar of the burnt-offering, and he pours out all its blood at the foundation of the altar,
Después tomará el sacerdote con su dedo de esta sangre, la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos y derramará todo (el resto de) la sangre al pie del altar.
31 and he turns aside all its fat, as the fat has been turned aside from off the sacrifice of the peace-offerings, and the priest has made incense on the altar for refreshing fragrance to YHWH; and the priest has made atonement for him, and it has been forgiven him.
Luego tomará todo el sebo de la víctima, como se hace en los sacrificios pacíficos; y el sacerdote lo quemará en el altar, como olor grato a Yahvé. Así le expiará el sacerdote y le será perdonado.
32 And if he brings in a sheep [for] his offering, a female for a sin-offering, he brings in a perfect one,
Si trajere como ofrenda suya por el pecado un cordero, ha de ser hembra sin tacha;
33 and he has laid his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and has slaughtered it for a sin-offering in the place where he slaughters the burnt-offering.
pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza de la víctima por el pecado y la degollará, como sacrificio por el pecado en el lugar donde se degüellan los holocaustos.
34 And the priest has taken of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and has put [it] on the horns of the altar of the burnt-offering, and he pours out all its blood at the foundation of the altar,
Después tomará el sacerdote con su dedo de la sangre de la víctima por el pecado y la pondrá sobre los cuernos del altar de los holocaustos; toda la (demás) sangre la derramará al pie del altar.
35 and he turns aside all its fat, as the fat of the sheep is turned aside from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings, and the priest has made them an incense on the altar, according to the fire-offerings of YHWH, and the priest has made atonement for him, for his sin which he has sinned, and it has been forgiven him.”
Luego tomará todo el sebo de la víctima, como se hace con el cordero en los sacrificios pacíficos, y el sacerdote lo quemará en el altar, junto con los sacrificios que se queman en honor de Yahvé. Así el sacerdote hará expiación por él, por el pecado cometido, y este le será perdonado.”
