< Leviticus 3 >
1 “And if his offering [is] a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if he is bringing near out of the herd, whether male or female, he brings a perfect one near before YHWH,
“‘Sɛ obiara pɛ sɛ ɔbɔ asomdwoeɛ afɔdeɛ ma Awurade a, ɔtumi de nantwinini anaa nantwibereɛ bɔ, nanso ɛsɛ sɛ aboa no yɛ deɛ ne ho nni dɛm biara.
2 and he has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood around the altar.
Onipa a ɔde aboa no aba no de ne nsa bɛgu aboa no apampam na wakum no wɔ Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no ano. Na Aaron mmammarima no apete aboa no mogya agu afɔrebukyia no ho,
3 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
na wɔahye aboa no ayamdeɛ ne ɛho sradeɛ nyinaa
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
ne ne sawa mmienu no ne ne sisia ne ne sawa kotokuo wɔ Awurade anim.
5 and sons of Aaron have made it an incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering which [is] on the wood, which [is] on the fire, [as] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
Na ɛbɛsɔ Awurade ani yie.
6 And if his offering [is] out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, male or female, he brings a perfect one near;
“‘Sɛ abirekyie anaa odwan na mode bɛbɔ asomdwoeɛ afɔdeɛ ama Awurade a, ɛnsɛ sɛ ɛdɛm biara ba ne ho na ɛsɛ sɛ ɔyɛ onini anaa ɔbereɛ.
7 if he is bringing a sheep near [for] his offering, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
Sɛ mode odwan ba sɛ mo akyɛdeɛ a,
8 and has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar.
momfa mo nsa ngu nʼapampam na monkum no wɔ Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no kwan ano. Afei, Aaron mmammarima no bɛpete mogya no agu afɔrebukyia no ho nyinaa.
9 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, its fat, the whole fat tail close by the bone—he turns it aside, and the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Saa asomdwoeɛ afɔrebɔdeɛ yi, fa bi na wɔmfa mma Awurade sɛ ɔhyeɛ afɔrebɔdeɛ a ne dua ne mu nneɛma ne ɛho sradeɛ, sradeɛ a ɛwɔ ne yam adeɛ nyinaa ho,
10 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
ne sawa mmienu ne ɛho sradeɛ a ɛbɛn ne sisia ne ne berɛboɔ a wɔbɛyi ɛno ne ne sawa no ka ho.
11 and the priest has made it an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering to YHWH.
Ɔsɔfoɔ no bɛhye no wɔ afɔrebukyia no so sɛ aduane a ɛyɛ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ ama Awurade.
12 And if his offering [is] a goat, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
“‘Sɛ obi de abirekyie brɛ Awurade sɛ nʼafɔrebɔdeɛ a,
13 and has laid his hand on its head, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar;
fa wo nsa gu aboa no apampam naku no wɔ Ahyiaeɛ Ntomadan no kwan ano. Aaron mmammarima de aboa no mogya bɛpete afɔrebukyia no ho nyinaa.
14 and he has brought his offering near from it, a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Ɛsɛ sɛ wɔhye saa afɔrebɔdeɛ yi fa bi ma Awurade. Saa afɔrebɔdeɛ fa no yɛ aboa no yam sradeɛ,
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
ne sawa mmienu ne ɛho sradeɛ a ɛbɛn nʼasene mu ne ne berɛboɔ a wɔbɛyi aka ne sawa no ho.
16 and the priest has made them an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering, for refreshing fragrance; all the fat [is] YHWH’s.
Ɔsɔfoɔ no bɛhye wɔ afɔrebukyia no so sɛ ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ. Awurade ani bɛsɔ saa ɔhyeɛ afɔdeɛ no. Kae sɛ sradeɛ no nyinaa yɛ Awurade dea.
17 [This is] a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”
“‘Yei ne mmara a monni so daa nyinaa wɔ asase yi so baabiara. Monnni sradeɛ anaa mogya.’”
