< Leviticus 3 >

1 “And if his offering [is] a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if he is bringing near out of the herd, whether male or female, he brings a perfect one near before YHWH,
“‘Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla achọọ inye onyinye aja udo, o nwere ike jiri anụ ụlọ si nʼigwe ehi, oke ehi maọbụ nwunye ehi. Ma anụ ahụ ọ ga-ewebata nʼihu Onyenwe anyị aghaghị ịbụ ehi na-enweghị nkwarụ.
2 and he has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood around the altar.
Onye ahụ wetara ya, ga-ebikwasị aka ya nʼisi anụ ahụ, gbuo ya nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọ nzute. Mgbe ahụ ụmụ Erọn ndị ikom, bụ ndị nchụaja, ga-efesa ọbara ya nʼakụkụ niile nke ebe ịchụ aja.
3 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Site nʼonyinye aja udo, ị ga-eweta onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị: abụba niile kpuchiri ihe dị nʼime afọ ya, na abụba niile nke metụtara ha,
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
akụrụ ya abụọ na abụba nke dị nʼelu ha ruo nʼakụkụ ukwu ya, na umeju ya na abụba kpuchiri umeju ya, nke ọ ga-ewepụ ya na akụrụ ya.
5 and sons of Aaron have made it an incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering which [is] on the wood, which [is] on the fire, [as] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
Mgbe ahụ, ụmụ Erọn ga-esunye ha ọkụ nʼelu aja nsure ọkụ a tụkwasịrị nʼosisi e sunyere ọkụ, ọ bụ onyinye nsure ọkụ, nke na-esi isi ụtọ nye Onyenwe anyị.
6 And if his offering [is] out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, male or female, he brings a perfect one near;
“‘Ọ bụrụ na onyinye aja udo a na-achụrụ Onyenwe anyị bụ site nʼigwe ewu maọbụ atụrụ, ọ ghaghị ịbụ mkpi maọbụ nne ewu na-enweghị ntụpọ.
7 if he is bringing a sheep near [for] his offering, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
Ọ bụrụ onyinye atụrụ, onye ahụ ga-ewebata ya nʼihu Onyenwe anyị.
8 and has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar.
Ọ ga-ebikwasị aka ya nʼisi atụrụ ahụ, gbuo ya nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọ nzute. Ndị nchụaja, ụmụ Erọn, ga-efesa ọbara ya nʼakụkụ niile nke ebe ịchụ aja ahụ.
9 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, its fat, the whole fat tail close by the bone—he turns it aside, and the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Ị ga-esite nʼonyinye aja udo a, weta onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị: abụba ya, na abụba niile dị nʼọdụdụ ya nke a ga-esite nʼakụkụ ọkpụkpụ azụ ya bepụta, na abụba kpuchiri ihe dị nʼime afọ ya; na abụba niile nke metụtara ha,
10 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
na akụrụ ya abụọ, na abụba kpuchiri ha ruo nʼakụkụ ukwu ya, na umeju ya, na abụba kpuchiri ya; nke ọ ga-ewepụ ya na akụrụ ya.
11 and the priest has made it an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering to YHWH.
Onye nchụaja ga-akpọ ha ọkụ nʼebe ịchụ aja dịka ihe oriri, onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị.
12 And if his offering [is] a goat, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
“‘Ọ bụrụ na onye ọbụla eweta ewu dịka onyinye ọ na-eche nʼihu Onyenwe anyị,
13 and has laid his hand on its head, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar;
ọ ga-ebikwasị aka ya nʼisi ewu ahụ, gbuo ya nʼọnụ ụzọ ụlọ nzute. Ụmụ Erọn ndị ikom ga-efesa ọbara ya nʼakụkụ niile nke ebe ịchụ aja.
14 and he has brought his offering near from it, a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Ọ bụ site nʼonyinye nke i wetara ka ị ga-esi chee onyinye nsure ọkụ nye Onyenwe anyị: abụba niile kpuchiri ihe dị nʼime afọ ya na abụba niile metụtara ha,
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
na akụrụ ya abụọ, na abụba kpuchiri ha ruo nʼakụkụ ukwu ya, na ihe kpuchiri umeju ya; nke ọ ga-ewepụ ya na akụrụ ya.
16 and the priest has made them an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering, for refreshing fragrance; all the fat [is] YHWH’s.
Onye nchụaja ga-akpọ ha ọkụ nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja dịka ihe oriri, onyinye nsure ọkụ, nke na-esi isi ụtọ. Abụba niile bụ nke Onyenwe anyị.
17 [This is] a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”
“‘Iwu ndị a ga-adịgide site nʼọgbọ ruo nʼọgbọ. Unu ga-edebezu ya nʼebe ọbụla unu bi. Unu agaghị eri abụba maọbụ ọbara ọbụla.’”
