< Leviticus 3 >

1 “And if his offering [is] a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if he is bringing near out of the herd, whether male or female, he brings a perfect one near before YHWH,
“‘Alò, si ofrann li an se yon ofrann lapè, si li pral ofri sòti nan twoupo a, kit se mal, kit se femèl, li va ofri li san defo devan SENYÈ a.
2 and he has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood around the altar.
Li va mete men li sou tèt ofrann li an, e touye li nan pòtay tant asanble a. Epi fis Aaron yo, prèt yo, va flite san li toupatou sou lotèl la.
3 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Soti nan sakrifis ofrann lapè yo, li va prezante yon ofrann pa dife bay SENYÈ a, avèk grès ki kouvri zantray yo ak tout grès ki tache a zantray yo,
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
epi de ren yo avèk grès ki sou yo a, ki sou senti a, ak gwo mòso fwa a, ke li va retire avèk ren yo.
5 and sons of Aaron have made it an incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering which [is] on the wood, which [is] on the fire, [as] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
6 And if his offering [is] out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, male or female, he brings a perfect one near;
“‘Men si ofrann li an pou yon sakrifis ofrann lapè pou SENYÈ a, sòti nan bann bèt la, li va ofri li, mal oswa femèl san defo.
7 if he is bringing a sheep near [for] his offering, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
Si li pral ofri yon jenn mouton pou ofrann li an, alò, li va ofri li devan SENYÈ a.
8 and has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar.
Epi li va poze men li sou tèt ofrann li an e touye li devan tant asanble a, epi fis Aaron yo va flite san li toupatou sou lotèl la.
9 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, its fat, the whole fat tail close by the bone—he turns it aside, and the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Soti nan ofrann sakrifis lapè a, li va pote kòm ofrann pa dife bay SENYÈ a, grès li, tout grès ke li menm, moun nan va retire pre zo do a, ak grès ki kouvri zantray yo ak tout grès ki tache sou zantray yo.
10 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
Epi de ren yo avèk grès ki sou yo a, ki sou pati ba senti a, ak gran bout fwa a, ke li va retire avèk ren yo.
11 and the priest has made it an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering to YHWH.
12 And if his offering [is] a goat, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
“‘Anplis, si ofrann li an se yon kabrit, alò, li va ofri li devan SENYÈ a.
13 and has laid his hand on its head, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar;
Li va poze men l sou tèt li e touye li devan tant asanble a, epi fis Aaron yo va flite san li toupatou sou lotèl la.
14 and he has brought his offering near from it, a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
Soti nan li, li va prezante ofrann li kòm ofrann pa dife bay SENYÈ a; grès ki kouvri zantray yo ak tout grès ki tache sou zantray yo,
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
ak de ren yo avèk grès ki sou yo a, ki sou pati ba senti a, ak gwo bout fwa a, ke li va retire avèk ren yo.
16 and the priest has made them an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering, for refreshing fragrance; all the fat [is] YHWH’s.
17 [This is] a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”
“‘Li se yon règleman pou tout tan atravè tout jenerasyon nou yo, nan tout abitasyon nou yo: nou pa pou manje okenn grès, ni okenn san.’”
