Leviticus 3
1 “And if his offering [is] a sacrifice of peace-offerings, if he is bringing near out of the herd, whether male or female, he brings a perfect one near before YHWH,
Lorsqu’un homme offrira un sacrifice pacifique, s’il offre du gros bétail, mâle ou femelle, il l’offrira sans défaut devant Yahweh.
2 and he has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it at the opening of the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron, the priests, have sprinkled the blood around the altar.
Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime et il l’égorgera à l’entrée de la tente de réunion, et les prêtres, fils d’Aaron, répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.
3 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
De ce sacrifice pacifique, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;
4 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
les deux rognons avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.
5 and sons of Aaron have made it an incense on the altar, on the burnt-offering which [is] on the wood, which [is] on the fire, [as] a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
Les fils d’Aaron feront fumer cela sur l’autel, par-dessus l’holocauste placé sur le bois qui est sur le feu. C’est un sacrifice fait par le feu, d’une agréable odeur à Yahweh.
6 And if his offering [is] out of the flock for a sacrifice of peace-offerings to YHWH, male or female, he brings a perfect one near;
S’il offre du menu bétail, mâle ou femelle, en sacrifice pacifique à Yahweh, il l’offrira sans défaut.
7 if he is bringing a sheep near [for] his offering, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
S’il offre en sacrifice un agneau, il le présentera devant Yahweh.
8 and has laid his hand on the head of his offering, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar.
Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime et il l’égorgera devant la tente de réunion, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.
9 And he has brought near from the sacrifice of the peace-offerings a fire-offering to YHWH, its fat, the whole fat tail close by the bone—he turns it aside, and the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
De ce sacrifice pacifique, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: sa graisse, la queue entière, coupée près de l’échine; la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;
10 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
les deux rognons, avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.
11 and the priest has made it an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering to YHWH.
Le prêtre fera fumer cela sur l’autel: c’est l’aliment d’un sacrifice fait par le feu à Yahweh.
12 And if his offering [is] a goat, then he has brought it near before YHWH,
Si son offrande est une chèvre, il la présentera devant Yahweh.
13 and has laid his hand on its head, and has slaughtered it before the Tent of Meeting, and sons of Aaron have sprinkled its blood around the altar;
Il posera sa main sur la tête de la victime, et il l’égorgera devant la tente de réunion, et les fils d’Aaron en répandront le sang sur les parois de l’autel tout autour.
14 and he has brought his offering near from it, a fire-offering to YHWH, the fat which is covering the innards, and all the fat which [is] on the innards,
De la victime, il offrira en sacrifice par le feu à Yahweh: la graisse qui enveloppe les entrailles et toute la graisse qui est attachée aux entrailles;
15 and the two kidneys, and the fat which [is] on them, which [is] on the flanks, and the redundance on the liver above the kidneys—he turns it aside,
les deux rognons, avec la graisse qui les recouvre et qui tient à la région lombaire; la taie du foie qu’il détachera près des rognons.
16 and the priest has made them an incense on the altar [as] bread of a fire-offering, for refreshing fragrance; all the fat [is] YHWH’s.
Le prêtre fera fumer cela sur l’autel: c’est l’aliment d’un sacrifice fait par le feu d’une agréable odeur. Toute graisse appartient à Yahweh.
17 [This is] a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings: you do not eat any fat or any blood.”
C’est ici une loi perpétuelle pour vos descendants, en quelque lieu que vous habitiez: vous ne mangerez ni graisse, ni sang. »
