Leviticus 24
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
१फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,
2 “Command the sons of Israel, and they bring pure oil of beaten olive to you for the lamp, to cause a light to go up continually;
२“इस्राएलियों को यह आज्ञा दे कि मेरे पास उजियाला देने के लिये कूट के निकाला हुआ जैतून का निर्मल तेल ले आना, कि दीपक नित्य जलता रहे।
3 Aaron arranges it at the outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, from evening until morning before YHWH continually—a continuous statute throughout your generations;
३हारून उसको, मिलापवाले तम्बू में, साक्षीपत्र के बीचवाले पर्दे से बाहर, यहोवा के सामने नित्य साँझ से भोर तक सजा कर रखे; यह तुम्हारी पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के लिये सदा की विधि ठहरे।
4 he arranges the lights on the pure lampstand before YHWH continually.
४वह दीपकों को सोने की दीवट पर यहोवा के सामने नित्य सजाया करे।
5 And you have taken flour, and have baked twelve cakes with it, two-tenth parts are in one cake,
५“तू मैदा लेकर बारह रोटियाँ पकवाना, प्रत्येक रोटी में एपा का दो दसवाँ अंश मैदा हो।
6 and you have set them [in] two rows (six in the row) on the pure table before YHWH,
६तब उनकी दो पंक्तियाँ करके, एक-एक पंक्ति में छः छः रोटियाँ, स्वच्छ मेज पर यहोवा के सामने रखना।
7 and you have put pure frankincense on the row, and it has been with the bread for a memorial, a fire-offering to YHWH.
७और एक-एक पंक्ति पर शुद्ध लोबान रखना कि वह रोटी स्मरण दिलानेवाली वस्तु और यहोवा के लिये हव्य हो।
8 On each Sabbath day he arranges it before YHWH continually, from the sons of Israel—a perpetual covenant;
८प्रति विश्रामदिन को वह उसे नित्य यहोवा के सम्मुख क्रम से रखा करे, यह सदा की वाचा की रीति इस्राएलियों की ओर से हुआ करे।
9 and it has been for Aaron and for his sons, and they have eaten it in the holy place, for it [is] most holy to him, from the fire-offerings of YHWH—a continuous statute.”
९और वह हारून और उसके पुत्रों की होंगी, और वे उसको किसी पवित्रस्थान में खाएँ, क्योंकि वह यहोवा के हव्यों में से सदा की विधि के अनुसार हारून के लिये परमपवित्र वस्तु ठहरी है।”
10 And a son of an Israeli woman goes out (and he [is] son of an Egyptian man) in the midst of the sons of Israel, and the son of the Israeli woman and a man of Israel strive in the camp,
१०उन दिनों में किसी इस्राएली स्त्री का बेटा, जिसका पिता मिस्री पुरुष था, इस्राएलियों के बीच चला गया; और वह इस्राएली स्त्री का बेटा और एक इस्राएली पुरुष छावनी के बीच आपस में मारपीट करने लगे,
11 and the son of the Israeli woman execrates the Name and reviles; and they bring him to Moses; and his mother’s name [is] Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan;
११और वह इस्राएली स्त्री का बेटा यहोवा के नाम की निन्दा करके श्राप देने लगा। यह सुनकर लोग उसको मूसा के पास ले गए। उसकी माता का नाम शलोमीत था, जो दान के गोत्र के दिब्री की बेटी थी।
12 and he causes him to rest in confinement —to explain to them by the mouth of YHWH.
१२उन्होंने उसको हवालात में बन्द किया, जिससे यहोवा की आज्ञा से इस बात पर विचार किया जाए।
13 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
१३तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,
14 “Bring out the reviler to the outside of the camp; and all those hearing have laid their hands on his head, and all the congregation has stoned him.
१४“तुम लोग उस श्राप देनेवाले को छावनी से बाहर ले जाओ; और जितनों ने वह निन्दा सुनी हो वे सब अपने-अपने हाथ उसके सिर पर रखें, तब सारी मण्डली के लोग उस पर पथराव करें।
15 And you speak to the sons of Israel, saying, When any man reviles his God—then he has borne his sin;
१५और तू इस्राएलियों से कह कि कोई क्यों न हो, जो अपने परमेश्वर को श्राप दे उसे अपने पाप का भार उठाना पड़ेगा।
16 and he who is execrating the Name of YHWH is certainly put to death; all the congregation certainly casts stones at him; as a sojourner so a native, in his execrating the Name, he is put to death.
१६यहोवा के नाम की निन्दा करनेवाला निश्चय मार डाला जाए; सारी मण्डली के लोग निश्चय उस पर पथराव करें; चाहे देशी हो चाहे परदेशी, यदि कोई यहोवा के नाम की निन्दा करें तो वह मार डाला जाए।
17 And when a man strikes any soul of man, he is certainly put to death.
१७“फिर जो कोई किसी मनुष्य को जान से मारे वह निश्चय मार डाला जाए।
18 And he who strikes a beast repays it, body for body.
१८और जो कोई किसी घरेलू पशु को जान से मारे वह उसका बदला दे, अर्थात् प्राणी के बदले प्राणी दे।
19 And when a man puts a blemish in his fellow, as he has done so it is done to him;
१९“फिर यदि कोई किसी दूसरे को चोट पहुँचाए, तो जैसा उसने किया हो वैसा ही उसके साथ भी किया जाए,
20 breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; as he puts a blemish in a man so it is done in him.
२०अर्थात् अंग-भंग करने के बदले अंग-भंग किया जाए, आँख के बदले आँख, दाँत के बदले दाँत, जैसी चोट जिसने किसी को पहुँचाई हो वैसी ही उसको भी पहुँचाई जाए।
21 And he who strikes a beast repays it, and he who strikes [the life of] man is put to death.
२१पशु का मार डालनेवाला उसका बदला दे, परन्तु मनुष्य का मार डालनेवाला मार डाला जाए।
22 One judgment is for you; as a sojourner so is a native; for I [am] your God YHWH.”
२२तुम्हारा नियम एक ही हो, जैसा देशी के लिये वैसा ही परदेशी के लिये भी हो; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूँ।”
23 And Moses speaks to the sons of Israel, and they bring out the reviler to the outside of the camp, and stone him [with] stone; and the sons of Israel have done as YHWH has commanded Moses.
२३अतः मूसा ने इस्राएलियों को यह समझाया; तब उन्होंने उस श्राप देनेवाले को छावनी से बाहर ले जाकर उस पर पथराव किया। और इस्राएलियों ने वैसा ही किया जैसा यहोवा ने मूसा को आज्ञा दी थी।
