Leviticus 23
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse en disant:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: Appointed times of YHWH, which you proclaim [as] holy convocations, these [are] My appointed times.
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Les fêtes solennelles de l'Eternel, que vous publierez, seront de saintes convocations; et ce sont ici mes fêtes solennelles.
3 [For] six days work is done, and in the seventh day [is] a Sabbath of rest, a holy convocation; you do no work; it [is] a Sabbath to YHWH in all your dwellings.
On travaillera six jours, mais au septième jour, qui est le Sabbat du repos, il y aura une sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre, [car] c'est le Sabbat à l'Eternel, dans toutes vos demeures.
4 These [are] appointed times of YHWH, holy convocations, which you proclaim in their appointed times:
Et ce sont ici les fêtes solennelles de l'Eternel, qui seront de saintes convocations, que vous publierez en leur saison.
5 in the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, [is] the Passover to YHWH;
Au premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois entre les deux vêpres, est la Pâque à l'Eternel.
6 and on the fifteenth day of this month [is] the Celebration of Unleavened Things to YHWH; [for] seven days you eat unleavened things;
Et le quinzième jour de ce même mois est la fête solennelle des pains sans levain à l'Eternel; vous mangerez des pains sans levain pendant sept jours.
7 on the first day you have a holy convocation, you do no servile work;
Le premier jour vous aurez une sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
8 and you have brought a fire-offering near to YHWH [for] seven days; in the seventh day [is] a holy convocation; you do no servile work.”
Mais vous offrirez à l'Eternel pendant sept jours des offrandes faites par feu, [et] au septième jour il y aura une sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
9 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant:
10 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: When you come into the land which I am giving to you, and have reaped its harvest, and have brought in the sheaf, the beginning of your harvest to the priest,
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Quand vous serez entrés au pays que je vous donne, et que vous en aurez fait la moisson, vous apporterez alors au Sacrificateur une poignée des premiers fruits de votre moisson.
11 then he has waved the sheaf before YHWH for your acceptance; on the next day of the Sabbath the priest waves it.
Et il tournoiera cette poignée-là devant l'Eternel, afin qu'elle soit agréée pour vous; le Sacrificateur la tournoiera le lendemain du Sabbat.
12 And you have prepared a lamb, a perfect one, a son of a year, in the day of your waving the sheaf for a burnt-offering to YHWH,
Et le jour que vous ferez tournoyer cette poignée, vous sacrifierez un agneau sans tare, et d'un an en holocauste à l'Eternel.
13 and its present [is] two-tenth parts of flour mixed with oil, a fire-offering to YHWH, a refreshing fragrance, and its drink-offering [is] a fourth of the hin of wine.
Et le gâteau de cet holocauste sera de deux dixièmes de fine farine, pétrie à l'huile, pour offrande faite par feu à l'Eternel en bonne odeur; et son aspersion de vin sera la quatrième partie d'un Hin.
14 And you do not eat bread and roasted grain and full ears until this very day, until your bringing in the offering of your God—a continuous statute throughout your generations, in all your dwellings.
Et vous ne mangerez ni pain, ni grain rôti, ni grain en épi, jusqu'à ce propre jour-là, même jusqu'à ce que vous ayez apporté l'offrande à votre Dieu; c'est une ordonnance perpétuelle en vos âges, dans toutes vos demeures.
15 And you have numbered for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day of your bringing in the sheaf of the wave-offering: they are seven perfect Sabbaths;
Vous compterez aussi dès le lendemain du Sabbat, [savoir] dès le jour que vous aurez apporté la poignée qu'on doit tournoyer, sept semaines entières.
16 you number fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and you have brought a new present near to YHWH;
Vous compterez donc cinquante jours jusqu'au lendemain de la septième semaine; et vous offrirez à l'Eternel un gâteau nouveau.
17 you bring in two [loaves] of bread out of your dwellings [for] a wave-offering; they are of two-tenth parts of flour; they are baked [with] yeast—first-[fruits] to YHWH.
Vous apporterez de vos demeures deux pains, pour en faire une offrande tournoyée, ils [seront] de deux dixièmes, [et] de fine farine, pétris avec du levain; [ce sont] les premiers fruits à l'Eternel.
18 And you have brought near, besides the bread, seven lambs, perfect ones, sons of a year, and one bullock, a son of the herd, and two rams; they are a burnt-offering to YHWH, with their present and their drink-offerings, a fire-offering of refreshing fragrance to YHWH.
Vous offrirez aussi avec ce pain-là sept agneaux sans tare, et d'un an, et un veau pris du troupeau, et deux béliers, qui seront un holocauste à l'Eternel, avec leurs gâteaux, et leurs aspersions, des sacrifices faits par feu en bonne odeur à l'Eternel.
19 And you have prepared one kid of the goats for a sin-offering, and two lambs, sons of a year, for a sacrifice of peace-offerings,
Vous sacrifierez aussi un jeune bouc [en offrande] pour le péché, et deux agneaux d'un an pour le sacrifice de prospérités.
20 and the priest has waved them, besides the bread of the first-[fruits], [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, besides the two lambs; they are holy to YHWH for the priest;
Et le Sacrificateur les tournoiera avec le pain des premiers fruits, et avec les deux agneaux, en offrande tournoyée devant l'Éternel; ils seront saints à l'Eternel pour le Sacrificateur.
21 and you have proclaimed in this very day [that] it is a holy convocation for yourselves, you do no servile work—a continuous statute in all your dwellings, throughout your generations.
Vous publierez donc en ce même jour-là que vous avez une sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile; c'est une ordonnance perpétuelle dans toutes vos demeures en vos âges.
22 And in your reaping the harvest of your land you do not complete the corner of your field in your reaping, and you do not gather the gleaning of your harvest, you leave them for the poor and for the sojourner; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Et quand vous ferez la moisson de votre terre tu n'achèveras point de moissonner le bout de ton champ, et tu ne glaneras point les épis qui resteront de ta moisson, mais tu les laisseras pour le pauvre, et pour l'étranger; je suis l'Eternel votre Dieu.
23 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant:
24 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, you have a Sabbath, a memorial of shouting, a holy convocation;
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Au septième mois, le premier jour du mois il y aura repos pour vous, un mémorial de jubilation, et une sainte convocation.
25 you do no servile work, and you have brought a fire-offering near to YHWH.”
Vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile, et vous offrirez à l'Eternel des offrandes faites par feu.
26 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant:
27 “Only—on the tenth of this seventh month is the Day of Atonements; you have a holy convocation, and you have humbled yourselves, and have brought a fire-offering near to YHWH;
Pareillement en ce même mois, qui est le septième, le dixième jour sera le jour des propitiations; vous aurez une sainte convocation, et vous affligerez vos âmes, et vous offrirez à l'Eternel des sacrifices faits par feu.
28 and you do no work in this very day, for it is a day of atonements, to make atonement for you, before your God YHWH.
En ce jour-là vous ne ferez aucune œuvre; car c'est le jour des propitiations, afin de faire propitiation pour vous devant l'Eternel votre Dieu.
29 For any person who is not humbled in this very day has even been cut off from his people;
Car toute personne qui n'aura pas été affligée en ce propre jour-là sera retranchée d'entre ses peuples.
30 and any person who does any work in this very day, I have even destroyed that person from the midst of his people;
Et toute personne qui aura fait quelque œuvre en ce jour-là, je ferai périr cette personne-là du milieu de son peuple.
31 you do no work—a continuous statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Vous ne ferez [donc] aucune œuvre; c'est une ordonnance perpétuelle en vos âges dans toutes vos demeures.
32 It [is] a Sabbath of rest for yourselves, and you have humbled yourselves in the ninth of the month at evening; you keep your Sabbath from evening until evening.”
Ce vous est un Sabbat de repos: vous affligerez donc vos âmes. Le neuvième jour du mois, au soir, depuis un soir jusqu'à l'autre soir, vous célébrerez votre repos.
33 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
L'Eternel parla aussi à Moïse, en disant:
34 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the fifteenth day of this seventh month [is the] Celebration of Shelters [for] seven days to YHWH;
Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et leur dis: Au quinzième jour de ce septième mois [sera] la fête solennelle des Tabernacles pendant sept jours, à l'Eternel.
35 the first day [is] a holy convocation, you do no servile work;
Au premier jour il y aura une sainte convocation; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
36 [for] seven days you bring a fire-offering near to YHWH, on the eighth day you have a holy convocation, and you have brought a fire-offering near to YHWH; it [is] a restraint, you do no servile work.
Pendant sept jours vous offrirez à l'Eternel des offrandes faites par feu; et au huitième jour vous aurez une sainte convocation, et vous offrirez à l'Eternel des offrandes faites, par feu; c'est une assemblée solennelle; vous ne ferez aucune œuvre servile.
37 These [are] appointed times of YHWH, which you proclaim [as] holy convocations, to bring a fire-offering near to YHWH, a burnt-offering, and a present, a sacrifice, and drink-offerings, a thing of a day in its day,
Ce sont là les fêtes solennelles de l'Eternel, que vous publierez, pour être des convocations saintes, afin d'offrir à l'Eternel des offrandes faites par feu; [savoir] un holocauste, un gâteau, un sacrifice, et une aspersion; chacune de ces choses en son jour;
38 apart from the Sabbaths of YHWH, and apart from your gifts, and apart from all your vows, and apart from all your willing-offerings, which you give to YHWH.
Outre les Sabbats de l'Eternel, et outre vos dons, et outre tous vos vœux, et outre toutes les offrandes volontaires que vous présenterez à l'Eternel.
39 Only—on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, in your gathering the increase of the land, you keep the celebration of YHWH [for] seven days; on the first day [is] a Sabbath, and on the eighth day a Sabbath;
Et aussi au quinzième jour du septième mois, quand vous aurez recueilli le rapport de la terre, vous célébrerez la fête solennelle de l'Eternel pendant sept jours. Le premier jour sera jour de repos; le huitième aussi sera jour de repos.
40 and you have taken for yourselves on the first day the fruit of beautiful trees, branches of palms, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of a brook, and have rejoiced before your God YHWH [for] seven days.
Et au premier jour vous prendrez du fruit d'un bel arbre, des branches de palmier, et des rameaux d'arbres branchus, et des saules de rivière, et vous vous réjouirez pendant sept jours devant l'Eternel votre Dieu.
41 And you have kept it [as] a celebration to YHWH, seven days in a year—a continuous statute throughout your generations; in the seventh month you keep it [as] a celebration.
Et vous célébrerez à l'Eternel cette fête solennelle pendant sept jours en l'année; c'est une ordonnance perpétuelle en vos âges; vous la célébrerez le septième mois.
42 You dwell in shelters [for] seven days; all who are natives in Israel dwell in shelters,
Vous demeurerez sept jours dans des tentes; tous ceux qui seront nés entre les Israélites demeureront dans des tentes.
43 so that your generations know that I caused the sons of Israel to dwell in shelters in My bringing them out of the land of Egypt; I [am] your God YHWH.”
Afin que votre postérité sache que j'ai fait demeurer les enfants d'Israël dans des tentes, quand je les retirai du pays d'Egypte; je suis l'Eternel votre Dieu.
44 And Moses speaks to the sons of Israel [concerning] the appointed times of YHWH.
Moïse déclara ainsi aux enfants d'Israël les fêtes solennelles de l'Eternel.
