< Leviticus 22 >

1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Yehova anawuza Mose kuti,
2 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons, and they are separated from the holy things of the sons of Israel, and they do not defile My holy Name in what they are hallowing to Me; I [am] YHWH.
“Uza Aaroni ndi ana ake kuti azilemekeza zinthu zopatulika zimene Aisraeli azipereka kwa Ine, kuti asayipitse dzina langa loyera. Ine ndine Yehova.
3 Say to them: Throughout your generations, any man who draws near, out of all your seed, to the holy things which the sons of Israel sanctify to YHWH, and his uncleanness [is] on him—indeed, that person has been cut off from before My face; I [am] YHWH.
“Uwawuze kuti ngati wina aliyense mwa zidzukulu zawo mʼmibado yonse imene ikubwera adzayandikira zinthu zopatulika zimene ana a Israeli apereka kwa Yehova, ali wodetsedwa, ameneyo achotsedwe pamaso pa Yehova. Ine ndine Yehova.
4 Any man of the seed of Aaron, and he is leprous or has discharging—he does not eat of the holy things until he is clean; and he who is coming against any uncleanness of a person, or a man whose seed [from] intercourse goes out from him,
“Munthu aliyense mwa zidzukulu za Aaroni amene ali ndi khate kapena amatulutsa zoyipa mʼthupi mwake, asadye zinthu zopatulika mpaka atayeretsedwa. Wansembe angakhale wodetsedwa atakhudzana ndi chinthu chimene chadetsedwa ndi chinthu chakufa kapena kukhudza munthu amene wataya umuna,
5 or a man who comes against any teeming thing which is unclean to him, or against a man who is unclean to him, even any of his uncleanness—
kapena kukhudza chilichonse chokwawa chomwe chimadetsa munthu, kapena kukhudza munthu amene angamudetse, kapenanso kukhudza kanthu kena kalikonse kodetsedwa.
6 the person who comes against it has even been unclean until the evening, and does not eat of the holy things, but has bathed his flesh with water,
Tsono ngati wansembe angakhudze chilichonse mwa zimenezi ndiye kuti adzakhala wodetsedwa mpaka madzulo. Asadye chopereka chilichonse chopatulika mpaka atasamba thupi lake lonse.
7 and the sun has gone in, and he has been clean, and afterward he eats of the holy things, for it [is] his food;
Munthuyo adzakhala woyeretsedwa pamene dzuwa lalowa, ndipo angathe kudya chopereka chopatulikacho popeza ndi chakudya chake.
8 he does not eat a carcass or torn thing, to become unclean with it; I [am] YHWH.
Wansembe sayenera kudya chinthu chofa chokha kapena chojiwa ndi chirombo kuopa kuti angadzidetse ndi chakudyacho. Ine ndine Yehova.
9 And they have kept My charge, and bear no sin for it, that they have died for it when they defile it; I [am] YHWH sanctifying them.
“‘Choncho ansembe azisunga malamulo angawa kuti asapezeke wolakwa ndi kufa chifukwa chopeputsa malamulowa. Ine ndine Yehova, amene ndimawayeretsa.
10 And no stranger eats of the holy thing; a settler [with] a priest and a hired worker does not eat of the holy thing;
“‘Aliyense amene si wabanja la wansembe, kaya ndi mlendo wa wansembe, kapena wantchito wake, asadye chopereka chopatulika.
11 but when a priest buys a person, the purchase of his money, he eats of it, also one born in his house; they eat of his bread.
Koma kapolo amene wagulidwa ndi ndalama kapena kubadwira mʼbanja la wansembe angathe kudya chakudya cha wansembeyo.
12 And a priest’s daughter, when she is a strange man’s, she does not eat of the raised-offering of the holy things;
Mwana wamkazi wa wansembe amene wakwatiwa ndi munthu amene si wansembe, asadyeko nsembe zopatulikazo.
13 but a priest’s daughter, when she is a widow, or cast out, and has no seed, and has turned back to the house of her father, as [in] her youth, she eats of her father’s bread; but no stranger eats of it.
Koma mwana wamkazi wa wansembe amene ali wamasiye kapena wosudzulidwa, ndipo alibe mwana, komanso anabwerera ku nyumba ya abambo ake monga pa nthawi ya utsikana wake, angathe kudya chakudya cha abambo ake. Mlendo asadye chakudya chopatulika.
14 And when a man eats of a holy thing through ignorance, then he has added its fifth part to it, and has given [it] to the priest, with the holy thing;
“‘Ngati munthu wina aliyense adya chopereka chopatulika mosadziwa, munthuyo amubwezere wansembe chinthu chopatulikacho ndipo awonjezerepo limodzi la magawo asanu a chinthucho.
15 and they do not defile the holy things of the sons of Israel—that which they lift up to YHWH,
Choncho ansembe asayipitse zopereka zopatulika za Aisraeli zimene apereka kwa Yehova
16 or have caused them to bear the iniquity of the guilt-offering in their eating their holy things; for I [am] YHWH, sanctifying them.”
ndipo asachimwitse ndi kupalamulitsa Aisraeli powalola kudya zakudya zawo zopatulika. Ine ndine Yehova amene ndimawayeretsa.’”
17 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Yehova anawuza Mose kuti,
18 “Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the sons of Israel, and you have said to them: Any man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, who brings his offering near, of all his vows, or of all his willing offerings which they bring near to YHWH for a burnt-offering—
“Yankhula ndi Aaroni, ana ake pamodzi ndi Aisraeli onse, ndipo uwawuze kuti, ‘Ngati wina aliyense wa inu, Mwisraeli kapena mlendo amene akukhala mu Israeli abwera ndi mphatso ya nsembe yopsereza kwa Yehova, kupereka chimene analumbira kapena kuti ikhale nsembe yaufulu,
19 [you bring near] at your pleasure a perfect one, a male of the herd, of the sheep or of the goats;
ndiye kuti abwere ndi ngʼombe yayimuna, nkhosa yayimuna kapena mbuzi yayimuna. Izi zikhale zopanda chilema kuti zilandiridwe.
20 nothing in which [is] blemish do you bring near, for it is not for a pleasing thing for you.
Musapereke nyama iliyonse yokhala ndi chilema chifukwa sidzalandiridwa mʼmalo mwanu.
21 And when a man brings a sacrifice of peace-offerings near to YHWH, to complete a special vow, or for a willing-offering, of the herd or of the flock, it is perfect for a pleasing thing: no blemish is in it.
Pamene wina aliyense abweretsa ngʼombe kapena nkhosa kuti ikhale nsembe yachiyanjano kwa Yehova, kukwaniritsa zimene analumbira kapena kuti ikhale nsembe yaufulu, nyamayo iyenera kukhala yangwiro ndi yopanda chilema kuti ilandiridwe.
22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or [having] an oozing sore [[or a defect of the eye]], or itch, or scab—you do not bring these near to YHWH, and you do not make a fire-offering from them on the altar to YHWH.
Musapereke kwa Yehova nyama zakhungu, zovulala kapena zolumala, kapena nyama zimene zikutulutsa mafinya mʼthupi mwake, kapena zimene zili ndi nthenda yonyerenyetsa, kapena zimene zili ndi mphere. Nyama zotere musaziyike pa guwa kuti zikhale nsembe yopsereza kwa Yehova.
23 As for an ox or sheep [that] is deformed or stunted—you make it a willing-offering, but it is not pleasing for a vow.
Koma mungathe kupereka ngʼombe yayimuna kapena nkhosa imene ili ndi chiwalo chachitali kapena chachifupi kukhala nsembe yaufulu. Koma simungayipereke ngati nsembe yoperekera zimene munalumbirira chifukwa sidzalandiridwa.
24 As for bruised, or beaten, or torn, or cut—you do not bring [it] near to YHWH; and in your land you do not do it.
Nyama iliyonse imene mavalo ake ndi onyuka kapena ophwanyika, ongʼambika kapena oduka, musamayipereke kwa Yehova mʼdziko lanu.
25 And you do not bring the bread of your God near from the hand of a son of a stranger, from any of these, for their corruption [is] in them; blemish [is] in them; they are not pleasing for you.”
Ndipo musalandire nyama zotere kuchokera kwa mlendo ndi kuzipereka kukhala zakudya za Mulungu wanu. Zimenezi sizidzalandiridwa mʼmalo mwanu chifukwa zili ndi chilema ndipo ndi zolumala.’”
26 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Yehova anawuza Mose kuti,
27 “When ox, or lamb, or goat is born, and it has been under its mother [for] seven days, then from the eighth day and from now on, it is pleasing for an offering, a fire-offering to YHWH;
“Pamene mwana wangʼombe, mwana wankhosa kapena mwana wambuzi wabadwa, akhale ndi make kwa masiku asanu ndi awiri. Kuyambira tsiku lachisanu ndi chitatu mpaka mʼtsogolo mwake, angathe kulandiridwa kuti akhale nsembe yopsereza ya kwa Yehova.
28 but an ox or sheep—you do not slaughter it and its young one in one day.
Musaphe ngʼombe kapena nkhosa pamodzi ndi mwana wake tsiku limodzi. Muyidye pa tsiku lomwelo; musasiyeko ina mpaka mmawa. Ine ndine Yehova.
29 And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to YHWH, you sacrifice at your pleasure;
“Pamene mupereka nsembe yoyamika kwa Yehova, muyipereke mwakufuna kwanu mu njira yoti ilandiridwe mʼmalo mwanu.
30 it is eaten on that day—you do not leave of it until morning; I [am] YHWH.
Muyidye pa tsiku lomwelo, wosasiyako ina mpaka mmawa. Ine ndine Yehova.
31 And you have kept my commands and have done them; I [am] YHWH;
“Choncho sungani malamulo anga ndi kuwatsatira. Ine ndine Yehova.
32 and you do not defile My holy Name, and I have been hallowed in the midst of the sons of Israel; I [am] YHWH, sanctifying you,
Musanyoze dzina langa loyera. Koma lilemekezedwe pakati pa Aisraeli. Ine ndine Yehova amene ndimakuyeretsani
33 who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt, to become your God; I [am] YHWH.”
ndipo ndine amene ndinakutulutsani mu Igupto kuti ndikhale Mulungu wanu. Ine ndine Yehova.”
