Leviticus 12
1 And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,
Fallou mais o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, A woman when she gives seed, and has borne a male, then she has been unclean [for] seven days; she is unclean according to the days of separation for her sickness;
Falla aos filhos d'Israel, dizendo: Se uma mulher conceber e parir um macho, será immunda sete dias, assim como nos dias da separação da sua enfermidade será immunda.
3 and in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin is circumcised;
E no dia oitavo se circumcidará ao menino a carne do seu prepucio.
4 and she abides in the blood of her cleansing [for] thirty-three days; she does not come against any holy thing, and she does not go into the sanctuary, until the fullness of the days of her cleansing.
Depois ficará ella trinta e tres dias no sangue da sua purificação; nenhuma coisa sancta tocará, e não virá ao sanctuario até que se cumpram os dias da sua purificação.
5 And if she bears a female, then she has been unclean [for] two weeks, as in her separation; and she abides by the blood of her cleansing [for] sixty-six days.
Mas, se parir uma femea, será immunda duas semanas, como na sua separação: depois ficará sessenta e seis dias no sangue da sua purificação.
6 And in the fullness of the days of her cleansing for son or for daughter she brings in a lamb, a son of a year, for a burnt-offering, and a young pigeon or a turtle-dove for a sin-offering, to the opening of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest;
E, quando forem cumpridos os dias da sua purificação por filho ou por filha, trará um cordeiro d'um anno por holocausto, e um pombinho ou uma rola para expiação do peccado, diante da porta da tenda da congregação, ao sacerdote,
7 and he has brought it near before YHWH, and has made atonement for her, and she has been cleansed from the fountain of her blood; this [is] the law of her who is bearing, in regard to a male or to a female.
O qual o offerecerá perante o Senhor, e por ella fará propiciação; e será limpa do fluxo do seu sangue: esta é a lei da que parir macho ou femea
8 And if her hand does not find the sufficiency of a sheep, then she has taken two turtle-doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt-offering and one for a sin-offering, and the priest has made atonement for her, and she has been cleansed.”
Mas, se a sua mão não alcançar assaz para um cordeiro, então tomará duas rolas, ou dois pombinhos, um para o holocausto e outro para a propiciação do peccado: assim o sacerdote por ella fará expiação, e será limpa.
