Leviticus 11

1 And YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,

هەروەها یەزدان لەگەڵ موسا و هارون دوا و پێی فەرموون:

2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, This [is] the beast which you eat out of all the beasts which [are] on the earth:

«لەگەڵ نەوەی ئیسرائیل بدوێن و بڵێن:”ئەوانە ئەو گیانلەبەرانەن کە دەیانخۆن، لە هەموو ئاژەڵەکانی سەر زەوی:

3 any dividing a hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hooves, bringing up the cud, among the beasts—you eat it.

هەر ئاژەڵێک کە سمی دوو کەرت بێت و کاوێژ بکات، ئەوە دەخۆن.

4 Only, this you do not eat, of those bringing up the cud, and of those dividing the hoof: the camel, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof is not dividing—it [is] unclean to you;

«”لەوانەی تەنها کاوێژ دەکەن یان تەنها سمیان دوو کەرتە، ئەمانە ناخۆن: وشتر، چونکە کاوێژ دەکات بەڵام سمی دوو کەرت نییە، بۆیە گڵاوە بۆتان؛

5 and the hyrax, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof is not divided—it [is] unclean to you;

هەروەها گۆڕهەڵکەنە، چونکە کاوێژ دەکات، بەڵام سمی کەرت نییە، گڵاوە بۆتان؛

6 and the hare, though it is bringing up the cud, yet the hoof has not divided—it [is] unclean to you;

کەروێشک، چونکە کاوێژ دەکات بەڵام سمی دوو کەرت نییە، بۆیە گڵاوە بۆتان؛

7 and the sow, though it is dividing the hoof, and cleaving the cleft of the hoof, yet it does not bring up the cud—it [is] unclean to you.

بەراز، چونکە سمی کەرت کراوە، بەڵام کاوێژ ناکات، بۆیە گڵاوە بۆتان.

8 You do not eat of their flesh, and you do not come against their carcass—they [are] unclean to you.

نە گۆشتیان بخۆن و نە دەست لە کەلاکیان بدەن، چونکە گڵاوە بۆتان.

9 This you eat of all which [are] in the waters: anything that has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the brooks, them you eat;

«”لە هەموو ئەوانەی لەناو ئاوەکانیشن ئەمانە دەخۆن، هەموو ئەوانەی باڵ و پوولەکەیان هەبێت لەناو ئاوەکان، لەناو دەریاکان و لەناو ڕووبارەکان، ئەوانە دەخۆن.

10 and anything that does not have fins and scales in the seas, and in the brooks, of any teeming creature of the waters, and of any creature which lives, which [is] in the waters—they [are] an abomination to you;

بەڵام هەموو ئەوەی باڵ و پوولەکەی نەبێت لەناو دەریاکان و ڕووبارەکان، لە هەموو خشۆکەکانی ناو ئاوەکان و هەموو زیندەوەرێکی ناو ئاوەکان، قێزەونە بۆتان.

11 indeed, they are an abomination to you; you do not eat of their flesh, and you detest their carcass.

بۆتان قێزەون دەبێت، لە گۆشتەکەی ناخۆن و قێزتان لە کەلاکەکەی دەبێتەوە.

12 Anything that does not have fins and scales in the waters—it [is] an abomination to you.

هەموو ئەوەی باڵ و پوولەکەی نەبێت لەناو ئاوەکان، بۆتان قێزەونە.

13 And these you detest of the bird—they are not eaten, they [are] an abomination: the eagle, and the bearded vulture, and the osprey,

«”لە باڵندەکانیش، قێزتان لەمانە دەبێتەوە، ناخورێن، قێزەونن، هەڵۆ و سیسارکە کەچەڵ و داڵاش،

14 and the kite, and the falcon after its kind,

واشەی سوور و هەموو جۆرەکانی واشەی ڕەش،

15 every raven after its kind,

هەموو جۆرەکانی قەلەڕەش،

16 and the ostrich, and the nightjar [[or male ostrich]], and the seagull, and the hawk after its kind,

کوندەپەپووی شاخدار و بایەقووش، مەلی دەریا، هەموو جۆرەکانی باز،

17 and the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

کوندەپەپووی بچووک، مەلی ماسیگرە، کوندەپەپووی گەورە،

18 and the waterhen, and the pelican, and the Egyptian vulture,

کوندەپەپووی سپی و کوندەپەپووی بیابان، واشەی ماسیگر،

19 and the stork, the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.

لەقلەق و هەموو جۆرەکانی شاهۆ و پەپوسڵێمانکە و شەمشەمەکوێرە.

20 Every teeming creature which is flying, which is going on four [legs]—it [is] an abomination to you.

«”هەموو مێرووێکی باڵدار کە لەسەر چوار پێ بڕوات بۆ ئێوە قێزەونە.

21 Only, this you eat of any teeming thing which is flying, which is going on four, which has legs above its feet, to move with them on the earth;

لەنێو هەموو مێرووێکی باڵدار کە لەسەر چوار پێ دەڕوات تەنها ئەمانە دەخۆن، ئەوەی دوو لاقی نوشتاوەی هەیە لەسەر قاچەکانی و پێیان هەڵدەبەزێتەوە لەسەر زەوی،

22 these of them you eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind;

ئەمە بە هەموو جۆرەکانییەوە دەخۆن: کوللە و سۆلام و بێوکە و پێکوڕە.

23 and every teeming thing which is flying, which has four feet—it [is] an abomination to you.

بەڵام ئەوانی دیکە هەر مێرووێکی باڵدار کە چوارپێی هەبێت قێزەونە بۆتان.

24 And you are made unclean by these; anyone who is coming against their carcass is unclean until the evening;

«”بەمانە گڵاو دەبن، هەرکەسێک دەست لە کەلاکیان بدات یان بەر کەلاکیان بکەوێت، ئەوا هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت،

25 and anyone who is lifting up of their carcass washes his garments, and has been unclean until the evening—

هەر یەکێک کەلاکیان هەڵبگرێت، دەبێت جلەکانی بشوات و هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت.

26 even every beast which is dividing the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, and is not bringing up the cud—they [are] unclean to you; anyone who is coming against them is unclean.

«”هەموو ئەو ئاژەڵانەش کە سمیان بە تەواوی شەق نەبێت، یان کاوێژ نەکات، ئەوا گڵاوە بۆتان و هەرکەسێک دەست لە کەلاکی هەر یەکێکیان بدات یان بەر کەلاکی هەر یەکێکیان بکەوێت ئەوا گڵاو دەبێت.

27 And anything going on its paws, among all the beasts which are going on four—they [are] unclean to you; anyone who is coming against their carcass is unclean until the evening;

هەر ئاژەڵێکیش لە چوار پێیەکان کە لەسەر ناولەپی بڕوات، گڵاوە بۆتان و هەرکەسێک دەست لە کەلاکیان بدات یان بەر کەلاکیان بکەوێت، هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت،

28 and he who is lifting up their carcass washes his garments, and has been unclean until the evening—they [are] unclean to you.

هەرکەسێک کەلاکیان هەڵبگرێت، دەبێت جلەکانی بشوات و هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت، ئەوە گڵاوە بۆتان.

29 And this [is] the unclean to you among the teeming things which are teeming on the earth: the weasel, and the muroid, and the tortoise [[or large lizard]] after its kind,

«”ئەمەش گڵاوە بۆتان لەوانەی لەسەر زەوی دەخشێن، ڕاسۆ، جرج، مارمێلکە بە هەموو جۆرەکانییەوە،

30 and the gecko [[or ferret]], and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole;

قومقمۆکە، بزنمژ، شەوگەرد، مارمێلکەی خشۆک و کامیلۆن.

31 these [are] the unclean to you among all which are teeming; anyone who is coming against them in their death is unclean until the evening.

ئەمانە گڵاوەکانن بۆتان لە هەموو خشۆکەکان، هەرکەسێک دەستیان لێ بدات یان بەریان بکەوێت دوای مرداربوونیان، ئەوا هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت.

32 And anything on which anyone of them falls, in their death, is unclean, of any vessel of wood or garment or skin or sack, any vessel in which work is done is brought into water, and has been unclean until the evening, then it has been clean;

هەر شتێکیش یەکێک لەوانەی کەوتە سەری کە مردبوو، ئەو شتە گڵاو دەبێت، لە هەر شتێک، دار بێت یان قوماش یان پێست یان گوش، هەر شتێک کە کاری پێ بکرێت، دەخرێتە ناو ئاوەوە و هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت و پاشان پاک دەبێتەوە.

33 and any earthen vessel, into the midst of which [any] one of them falls, all that [is] in its midst is unclean, and you break it.

هەر دەفرێکی گڵینیش ئەمانەی بکەوێتە ناوی، هەرچی تێیدایە گڵاو دەبێت و دەفرەکەش دەشکێنن.

34 Of all the food which is eaten, that on which comes [such] water, is unclean, and all drink which is drunk in any [such] vessel is unclean;

هەر خواردنێکیش کە بخورێت، لەو دەفرەیە ئاوی بەسەردا بکرێت، گڵاو دەبێت. هەر خواردنەوەیەکیش کە لەو دەفرەیە بخورێتەوە، گڵاو دەبێت.

35 and anything on which [any] of their carcass falls is unclean; oven or double pots, it is broken down, they [are] unclean, indeed, they are unclean to you.

هەر شتێک کەلاکی یەکێک لەوانەی تێبکەوێت، گڵاو دەبێت، ئەگەر تەنوور بێت یان ئاگردان، دەبێت تێکبدرێت، ئەوە گڵاوە و بۆ ئێوە گڵاو دەبێت.

36 Only, a fountain or pit, a collection of water, is clean, but that which is coming against their carcass is unclean;

تەنها کانی و ئەمباراو کە ئاویان تێدا کۆدەبێتەوە، ئەوان پاک دەبن، بەڵام هەرکەسێک دەست لە کەلاکی هەر یەکێکیان بدات یان بەر کەلاکی هەر یەکێکیان بکەوێت، ئەوا گڵاو دەبێت.

37 and when [any] of their carcass falls on any sown seed which is sown—it [is] clean;

ئەگەر کەلاکی یەکێکیان کەوتە سەر هەر تۆوێک کە بچێنرێت، ئەوا تۆوەکە پاکە،

38 and when water is put on the seed, and [any] of its carcass has fallen on it—it [is] unclean to you.

بەڵام ئەگەر ئاو لەسەر تۆوەکە هەبوو و کەلاکی یەکێکیانی کەوتە سەر، گڵاوە بۆتان.

39 And when any of the beasts which are for food for you dies, he who is coming against its carcass is unclean until the evening;

«”ئەگەر یەکێک لەو ئاژەڵانەی کە خواردنە بۆتان مرد، هەرکەسێک دەست لە کەلاکی بدات یان بەر کەلاکی بکەوێت، ئەوا هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت.

40 and he who is eating of its carcass washes his garments, and has been unclean until the evening; and he who is lifting up its carcass washes his garments, and has been unclean until the evening.

هەر یەکێکیش لە کەلاکەکەی بخوات، ئەوا جلەکانی دەشوات و هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت، هەر یەکێکیش کەلاکەکەی هەڵبگرێت، ئەوا جلەکانی دەشوات و هەتا ئێوارە گڵاو دەبێت.

41 And every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth is an abomination, it is not eaten;

«”هەموو خشۆکێکیش کە لەسەر زەوی دەخشێت، ئەوە قێزەونە و ناخورێت.

42 anything going on the belly, and any going on four, to every multiplier of feet, to every teeming thing which is teeming on the earth—you do not eat them, for they [are] an abomination;

هەرچی لەسەر سکی بڕوات و هەرچی لەسەر چوارپێ بڕوات لەگەڵ هەموو ئەوەی پێی زیاترە، لە هەموو خشۆکەکان کە لەسەر زەوی دەخشێن مەیخۆن، چونکە قێزەونە بۆتان.

43 you do not make yourselves abominable with any teeming thing which is teeming, nor do you make yourselves unclean with them, so that you have been unclean with them.

خۆتان پیس مەکەن بە خشۆکێک کە دەخشێت، خۆتانی پێ گڵاو مەکەن و پێی گڵاو مەبن.

44 For I [am] your God YHWH, and you have sanctified yourselves, and you have been holy, for I [am] holy; and you do not defile your persons with any teeming thing which is creeping on the earth;

من یەزدانی پەروەردگارتانم، خۆتان تەرخان بکەن و پیرۆز بن، چونکە من پیرۆزم. خۆتان بە خشۆکێک کە لەسەر زەوی دەخشێت گڵاو مەکەن.

45 for I [am] YHWH who am bringing you up out of the land of Egypt to become your God; and you have been holy, for I [am] holy.

من یەزدانم ئەوەی کە لە خاکی میسرەوە دەریهێنان بۆ ئەوەی ببێتە خوداتان، کەواتە پیرۆز بن، چونکە من پیرۆزم.

46 This [is] a law of the beasts, and of the bird, and of every living creature which is moving in the waters, and of every creature which is teeming on the earth,

«”ئەمانە ڕێنماییەکانن دەربارەی ئاژەڵ و باڵندەکان و هەموو گیانلەبەرێک کە لەناو ئاو دەجوڵێت و هەموو گیانێک کە لەسەر زەوی دەخشێت.

47 to make separation between the unclean and the pure, and between the beast that is eaten, and the beast that is not eaten.”

پێویستە گڵاو و پاک و ئەو زیندەوەرانەی دەخورێن و ئەو زیندەوەرانەی ناخورێن لێک جیا بکەنەوە.“»
