Leviticus 10
1 And the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, each take his censer, and put fire in them, and put incense on it, and bring strange fire near before YHWH, which He has not commanded them;
Och Aarons söner, Nadab och Abihu, togo hvar sitt rökelsekar, och lade eld deruti, och lade rökverk deruppå, och båro främmande eld fram för Herran, det han dem icke budit hade.
2 and fire goes out from before YHWH and consumes them, and they die before YHWH.
Då kom en eld ut ifrå Herranom, och förtärde dem, så att de blefvo döde för Herranom.
3 And Moses says to Aaron, “It [is] that which YHWH has spoken, saying, By those drawing near to Me I am sanctified, and in the face of all the people I am honored”; and Aaron is silent.
Då sade Mose till Aaron: Detta är det Herren sagt hafver: Jag skall varda helgader på dem som nalkas mig, och för allo folke skall jag härlig hållen varda. Och Aaron tigde stilla.
4 And Moses calls to Mishael and to Elzaphan, sons of Uzziel, uncle of Aaron, and says to them, “Come near, carry your brothers from the front of the holy place to the outside of the camp”;
Men Mose kallade till sig Misael och Elzaphan, Usiels söner, Aarons faderbroders, och sade till dem: Går fram, och bärer edra bröder härut af helgedomenom, ut för lägret.
5 and they come near, and carry them in their coats to the outside of the camp, as Moses has spoken.
Och de gingo fram, och båro dem med deras linnekjortlar ut för lägret; såsom Mose sagt hade.
6 And Moses says to Aaron and his sons, to Eleazar and to Ithamar, “You do not uncover your heads, and you do not tear your garments, that you do not die, and He is angry on all the congregation; as for your brothers, the whole house of Israel, they lament the burning which YHWH has kindled;
Då sade Mose till Aaron och hans söner, Eleazar och Ithamar: I skolen icke blotta edor hufvud, icke eller rifva edor kläder, att I icke dön, och vrede kommer öfver hela menighetena; låter edra bröder af hela Israels hus gråta öfver denna branden, som Herren gjort hafver.
7 and you do not go out from the opening of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of YHWH [is] on you”; and they do according to the word of Moses.
Men I skolen intet gå ut igenom dörrena af vittnesbördsens tabernakel; annars kunden I dö; ty Herrans smörjoolja är på eder. Och de gjorde såsom Mose sade.
8 And YHWH speaks to Aaron, saying,
Men Herren talade med Aaron, och sade:
9 “You do not drink wine and strong drink, you and your sons with you, in your going into the Tent of Meeting, and you do not die—a continuous statute throughout your generations,
Du och dine söner med dig skolen icke dricka vin eller starka drycker, när I gån in uti vittnesbördsens tabernakel, att I icke skolen dö. Det vare en evig rätt allom edrom efterkommandom;
10 so as to make a separation between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the pure;
Att I mågen åtskilja hvad heligt och oheligt, hvad rent och orent är;
11 and to teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which YHWH has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.”
Och att I mågen lära Israels barn alla rätter, som Herren till eder genom Mose sagt hafver.
12 And Moses speaks to Aaron and his sons, to Eleazar and to Ithamar, who are left, “Take the present that is left from the fire-offerings of YHWH, and eat it unleavened near the altar, for it [is] most holy,
Och Mose talade med Aaron, och med hans återlefda söner, Eleazar och Ithamar: Tager det öfverblifvet är af spisoffret och af Herrans offer, och äter det osyradt vid altaret; ty det är det aldrahelgasta.
13 and you have eaten it in the holy place, for it [is] your portion, and the portion of your sons, from the fire-offerings of YHWH; for so I have been commanded.
Och I skolen ätat på ett heligt rum, ty det är din rätt, och dina söners rätt af Herrans offer; ty så är mig budet.
14 And you eat the breast of the wave-offering and the leg of the raised-offering in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you; they have been given for your portion and the portion of your sons, out of the sacrifices of peace-offerings of the sons of Israel;
Veftebröstet och häfvebogen skall du och dine söner, och dina döttrar med dig, äta på rent rum; ty denne rätten är dig och dina söner gifven till Israels barnas tackoffer.
15 the leg of the raised-offering, and breast of the wave-offering, besides fire-offerings of the fat, they bring in to wave [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, and it has been to you, and to your sons with you, by a continuous statute, as YHWH has commanded.”
Ty häfvebogen och veftebröstet, med dess fetas offer, skola inbäras, att de skola varda veftad till veftoffer för Herranom. Derföre är det ditt och dina barnas till en evig rätt; såsom Herren budit hafver.
16 And Moses has diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, and behold, it is burned, and he is angry against Eleazar and against Ithamar, sons of Aaron, who are left, saying,
Och Mose sökte efter syndoffrens bock; och fann honom vara uppbrändan. Och han vardt vred öfver Eleazar och Ithamar, Aarons söner, de ännu igenlefde voro; och sade:
17 “Why have you not eaten the sin-offering in the holy place, for it [is] most holy—and He has given it to you to take away the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before YHWH?
Hvi hafven I icke ätit syndoffret på heligt rum, efter det är det aldrahelgasta, och han hafver gifvit eder det, på det I skolen bära menighetenes missgerningar, och försona dem för Herranom?
18 Behold, its blood has not been brought into the holy place within; eating you eat it in the holy place, as I have commanded.”
Si, hans blod är icke kommen in uti det helga; I skullen hafva ätit det in i det helga, såsom mig budet är.
19 And Aaron speaks to Moses, “Behold, today they have brought their sin-offering and their burnt-offering near before YHWH; and [things] like these meet me, yet I have eaten a sin-offering today; is it good in the eyes of YHWH?”
Men Aaron sade till Mose: Si, i dag hafva de offrat deras syndoffer, och deras bränneoffer för Herranom, och mig är så gånget som du ser. Skulle jag i dag äta af syndoffer, och vara vid godt mod för Herranom?
20 And Moses listens, and it is good in his eyes.
Då Mose det hörde, var han tillfrids.
