Leviticus 10
1 And the sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, each take his censer, and put fire in them, and put incense on it, and bring strange fire near before YHWH, which He has not commanded them;
A Nadab i Abihu, synowie Aarona, wzięli każdy swoją kadzielnicę, włożyli do nich ogień, nałożyli na nie kadzidła i ofiarowali przed PANEM obcy ogień, którego im nie nakazał.
2 and fire goes out from before YHWH and consumes them, and they die before YHWH.
Wtedy wyszedł ogień sprzed PANA i pochłonął ich, i pomarli przed PANEM.
3 And Moses says to Aaron, “It [is] that which YHWH has spoken, saying, By those drawing near to Me I am sanctified, and in the face of all the people I am honored”; and Aaron is silent.
Wówczas Mojżesz powiedział do Aarona: Oto co PAN powiedział: W tych, którzy zbliżają się do mnie, będę uświęcony i będę uwielbiony przed całym ludem. I Aaron zamilkł.
4 And Moses calls to Mishael and to Elzaphan, sons of Uzziel, uncle of Aaron, and says to them, “Come near, carry your brothers from the front of the holy place to the outside of the camp”;
Mojżesz wezwał Miszaela i Elsafana, synów Uzziela, stryja Aarona, i powiedział do nich: Zbliżcie się i wynieście waszych braci sprzed świątyni poza obóz.
5 and they come near, and carry them in their coats to the outside of the camp, as Moses has spoken.
Podeszli więc i wynieśli ich w ich tunikach poza obóz, jak Mojżesz nakazał.
6 And Moses says to Aaron and his sons, to Eleazar and to Ithamar, “You do not uncover your heads, and you do not tear your garments, that you do not die, and He is angry on all the congregation; as for your brothers, the whole house of Israel, they lament the burning which YHWH has kindled;
Potem Mojżesz powiedział do Aarona i jego synów, Eleazara i Itamara: Nie obnażajcie swoich głów ani nie rozdzierajcie swoich szat, abyście nie pomarli i aby [Bóg] nie rozgniewał się na całe zgromadzenie. Lecz wasi bracia, cały dom Izraela, niech opłakują ten pożar, który PAN rozpalił.
7 and you do not go out from the opening of the Tent of Meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of YHWH [is] on you”; and they do according to the word of Moses.
Nie odchodźcie od wejścia do Namiotu Zgromadzenia, abyście nie pomarli, ponieważ oliwa namaszczenia PANA jest na was. I postąpili według słowa Mojżesza.
8 And YHWH speaks to Aaron, saying,
Następnie PAN powiedział do Aarona:
9 “You do not drink wine and strong drink, you and your sons with you, in your going into the Tent of Meeting, and you do not die—a continuous statute throughout your generations,
Nie pij wina ani mocnego napoju, ani ty, ani twoi synowie z tobą, gdy będziecie wchodzić do Namiotu Zgromadzenia, abyście nie pomarli. To będzie ustawa wieczna dla wszystkich waszych pokoleń;
10 so as to make a separation between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the pure;
Abyście mogli rozróżniać między tym, co święte, a tym, co pospolite, między tym, co nieczyste, a tym, co czyste;
11 and to teach the sons of Israel all the statutes which YHWH has spoken to them by the hand of Moses.”
I abyście nauczali synów Izraela wszystkich ustaw, które PAN nakazał im przez Mojżesza.
12 And Moses speaks to Aaron and his sons, to Eleazar and to Ithamar, who are left, “Take the present that is left from the fire-offerings of YHWH, and eat it unleavened near the altar, for it [is] most holy,
I Mojżesz powiedział do Aarona oraz jego pozostałych synów, Eleazara i Itamara: Weźcie ofiarę pokarmową, która pozostała z ofiar ogniowych PANA, i jedzcie ją bez zakwasu przy ołtarzu. Jest to bowiem rzecz najświętsza.
13 and you have eaten it in the holy place, for it [is] your portion, and the portion of your sons, from the fire-offerings of YHWH; for so I have been commanded.
Będziecie ją spożywać w miejscu świętym, bo jest to część należna tobie i twoim synom z ofiar ogniowych PANA. Tak mi bowiem rozkazano.
14 And you eat the breast of the wave-offering and the leg of the raised-offering in a clean place, you, and your sons, and your daughters with you; they have been given for your portion and the portion of your sons, out of the sacrifices of peace-offerings of the sons of Israel;
Także mostek kołysania i łopatkę wzniesienia będziecie spożywać w miejscu czystym, ty, twoi synowie i twoje córki z tobą. To bowiem należy się tobie, a także twoim synom, dane [wam] z ofiar pojednawczych synów Izraela.
15 the leg of the raised-offering, and breast of the wave-offering, besides fire-offerings of the fat, they bring in to wave [as] a wave-offering before YHWH, and it has been to you, and to your sons with you, by a continuous statute, as YHWH has commanded.”
Przyniosą łopatkę wzniesienia i mostek kołysania wraz z tłuszczem z ofiar ogniowych, aby kołysać je przed PANEM; a będzie [to] dla ciebie i twoich synów z tobą na mocy ustawy wiecznej, tak jak PAN rozkazał.
16 And Moses has diligently sought the goat of the sin-offering, and behold, it is burned, and he is angry against Eleazar and against Ithamar, sons of Aaron, who are left, saying,
Potem Mojżesz pilnie szukał kozła na ofiarę za grzech, ale okazało się, że został on [już] spalony. I rozgniewał się na synów Aarona, Eleazara i Itamara, którzy mu pozostali, i mówił:
17 “Why have you not eaten the sin-offering in the holy place, for it [is] most holy—and He has given it to you to take away the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before YHWH?
Dlaczego nie zjedliście ofiary za grzech w miejscu świętym? Przecież jest ona rzeczą najświętszą, którą dano wam, abyście nosili nieprawość [całego] ludu, abyście dokonali za niego przebłagania przed PANEM.
18 Behold, its blood has not been brought into the holy place within; eating you eat it in the holy place, as I have commanded.”
Oto jej krwi nie wniesiono do wnętrza miejsca świętego. Powinniście byli ją jeść na miejscu świętym, jak nakazałem.
19 And Aaron speaks to Moses, “Behold, today they have brought their sin-offering and their burnt-offering near before YHWH; and [things] like these meet me, yet I have eaten a sin-offering today; is it good in the eyes of YHWH?”
Wtedy Aaron odpowiedział Mojżeszowi: Oto dziś złożyli swoją ofiarę za grzech i swoją ofiarę całopalną przed PANEM, a taka rzecz mnie spotkała. Gdybym dziś spożył ofiarę za grzech, czy to by się spodobało PANU?
20 And Moses listens, and it is good in his eyes.
Gdy Mojżesz to usłyszał, uznał to za słuszne.
