Lamentations 4
1 [ALEPH-BET] How the gold has become dim, Changed the best—the pure gold! Stones of the sanctuary are poured out At the head of all out-places.
Lee ka ọlaedo si chuo echu. Lee ka ọlaedo makarịsịrị mma si gbanwee ghọọ ihe na-amakwaghị mma. Nkume niile dị oke ọnụahịa nke ebe nsọ bụ ndị a ghasara nʼisi okporoụzọ niile.
2 The precious sons of Zion, Who are comparable with fine gold, How they have been reckoned earthen bottles, Work of the hands of a potter.

3 Even dragons have drawn out the breast, They have suckled their young ones, The daughter of my people has become cruel, Like the ostriches in a wilderness.

4 The tongue of a suckling has cleaved to his palate with thirst, Infants asked for bread, they have no dealer [of it] out.
Lee na ire nwa ọhụrụ na-arapara nʼakpo ọnụ ya nʼihi akpịrị ịkpọ nkụ. Ụmụntakịrị na-arịọkwa ka e nye ha nri, ma o nweghị onye na-enye ha nri ahụ.
5 Those eating of delicacies have been desolate in out-places, Those supported on scarlet have embraced dunghills.
Ndị ahụ naara eri ihe ụtọ dị iche iche tọgbọrọ nʼefu ugbu a nʼokporoụzọ. Ndị ahụ a zụrụ iyi uwe uhie uhie nọ ugbu a na-edina nʼebe a na-ekpofu ahịhịa.
6 And greater is the iniquity of the daughter of my people, Than the sin of Sodom, That was overturned as [in] a moment, And no hands were stayed on her.
Ahụhụ dịịrị ndị m dị ukwuu karịa ahụhụ nke bịakwasịrị Sọdọm. Nʼihi na ọ bụ nʼotu ntabi anya ka a kwatụrụ ya. Ọ dịkwaghị onye bịara nyere ya aka.
7 Purer were her Nazarites than snow, Whiter than milk, ruddier of body than rubies, Of sapphire their form.

8 Their face has been darker than blackness, They have not been known in out-places, Their skin has cleaved to their bone, It has withered—it has been as wood.

9 Better have been the pierced of a sword Than the pierced of famine, For these flow away, pierced through, Without the increase of the field.

10 The hands of merciful women have boiled their own children, They have been for food to them, In the destruction of the daughter of my people.
Aka ha ka ndị inyom ndị ahụ nwere obi ebere ji gbuo ụmụ ha, sie ha. Ụmụ ha ghọọrọ ha nri nʼoge ahụ a lara ndị m nʼiyi.
11 YHWH has completed His fury, He has poured out the fierceness of His anger, And He kindles a fire in Zion, And it devours her foundations.
Onyenwe anyị emeela ka nrubiga oke nke iwe ya pụta ìhè; ọ wụpụla iwe ya dị ọkụ. O sunyela ọkụ na Zayọn, nke rechapụrụ ntọala ya niile.
12 The kings of earth did not believe, And any of the inhabitants of the world, That an adversary and enemy would come Into the gates of Jerusalem.
Ndị eze nke ụwa ekwetaghị; otu a kwa, ndị ụwa niile ekwetakwaghị na ndị iro nwere ike si nʼọnụ ụzọ ama banye nʼime Jerusalem.
13 Because of the sins of her prophets, The iniquities of her priests, Who are shedding in her midst the blood of the righteous,
Ma ihe ndị a mere nʼihi mmehie ndị amụma ya, na nʼihi ajọ omume nke ndị nchụaja ya, ndị wụsiri ọbara ndị ezi omume nọ nʼetiti ya.
14 They have wandered naked in out-places, They have been defiled with blood, Without [any] being able to touch their clothing,
Ugbu a, ha na-asọ isi nʼokporoụzọ niile, dịka ndị kpuru ìsì. Ha ejirila ọbara merụọ onwe ha. O nwekwaghị onye na-agbalị ịbịaru ha nso ịmetụ uwe ha aka.
15 “Turn aside—unclean,” they called to them, “Turn aside, turn aside, do not touch,” For they fled—indeed, they have wandered, They have said among nations: “They do not add to sojourn.”
Ndị mmadụ na-eti mkpu na-asị ha, “Sitenụ nʼebe anyị nọ wezuga onwe unu! Unu rụrụ arụ! Wezuganụ onwe unu, unu emetụkwala anyị aka!” Mgbe ha gbapụrụ ọsọ bido na-awagharị, ndị nọ na mba dị iche iche na-asị ha, “O kwesighị ka ha nọrọkwa nʼebe a.”
16 The face of YHWH has divided them, He does not add to behold them, They have not lifted up the face of priests, They have not favored [the] old and elderly.
Onyenwe anyị nʼonwe ya achụsaala ha. Ọ gaghị agụnyekwa ha. Ọ dịkwaghị ndị na-asọpụrụ onye nchụaja, ọ dịkwaghị ndị na-emere ndị okenye amara.
17 While we exist—consumed are our eyes for our vain help, In our watchtower we have watched for a nation [that] does not save.
Nke ka nke, anya agbaala anyị ọchịchịrị, ebe anyị nọ na-elepụ anya nʼefu maka enyemaka. Ọ bụ site nʼụlọ elu nche ka anyị nọ na-elepụ anya, na-ele anya maka ọbịbịa mba ahụ na-enweghị ike bịa zọpụta anyị.
18 They have hunted our steps from going in our broad-places, Near has been our end, fulfilled our days, For our end has come.

19 Swifter have been our pursuers, Than the eagles of the heavens, On the mountains they have burned [after] us, In the wilderness they have laid wait for us.
Ndị na-achụ anyị ọsọ na-agbasi ọsọ ike karịa ugo na-efe na mbara eluigwe. Ha chụgharịrị anyị nʼelu ugwu niile, nọrọkwa nʼọzara zoo onwe ha na-eche anyị.
20 The breath of our nostrils—the anointed of YHWH, Has been captured in their pits, of whom we said: “We live among nations in his shadow.”
Ume ndụ anyị, nke Onyenwe anyị tere mmanụ, ka ha jidere nʼọnya ha. Anyị naara eche na anyị ga-ebi nʼokpuru ndo ya, nʼetiti mba dị iche iche.
21 Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom, Dwelling in the land of Uz, Even to you a cup passes over, You are drunk, and make yourself naked.
Ṅụrịa ọṅụ, ka obi tọkwaa gị ụtọ, gị ada Edọm, onye nke bi nʼala Uz. Ma a ga-emesịakwa nye gị iko ahụ. Ị ga-esitekwa na ya ṅụọ ihe ọṅụṅụ ṅụjụbiga afọ oke. A ga-agbakwa gị ọtọ.
22 Completed [is] your iniquity, daughter of Zion, He does not add to remove you, He has inspected your iniquity, O daughter of Edom, He has removed [you] because of your sins!
Gị ada Zayọn, ahụhụ gị agwụsịala; Ọ gaghị emekwa ka i jee biri ogologo oge na mba ọzọ. Kama, ọ ga-ata gị ahụhụ nʼihi mmehie gị, gị, ada Edọm, kpugheekwa ajọ omume gị niile.
