Judges 9
1 And Abimelech son of Jerubba‘al goes to Shechem, to his mother’s brothers, and speaks to them, and to all the family of the house of his mother’s father, saying,
১যিৰুব্বালৰ পুত্র অবীমেলকে চিখিমলৈ নিজৰ মোমায়েকহঁতৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ সৈতে মাকৰ পৰিয়ালৰ আনবোৰ ফৈদকে ক’লে,
2 “Now speak in the ears of all the masters of Shechem, Which [is] good for you—seventy men ruling over you (all the sons of Jerubba‘al), or one man ruling over you? And you have remembered that I [am] your bone and your flesh.”
২“দয়া কৰি চিখিমৰ সকলো নেতাকে আপোনালোকে এই কথা সোধক: ‘আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে কোনটো ভাল? যিৰুব্বালৰ সত্তৰজন পুত্র আপোনালোকৰ শাসনকর্তা হ’ব নে এজনে শাসন কৰা ভাল?’ পাহৰি নাযাব, মই আপোনালোকৰে হাড় আৰু মঙহ।”
3 And his mother’s brothers speak concerning him, in the ears of all the masters of Shechem, all these words, and their heart inclines after Abimelech, for they said, “He [is] our brother”;
৩তেতিয়া অবীমেলকৰ মাকৰ পৰিয়ালবোৰে তেওঁৰ হৈ চিখিমৰ নেতাসকলৰ আগত কথা কোৱাত তেওঁলোকে অবীমেলকৰ পক্ষত থাকিবলৈ একমত হ’ল। তেওঁলোকে ক’লে “অবীমেলক আমাৰে ভাই।”
4 and they give seventy [pieces] of silver out of the house of Ba‘al-Berith to him, and Abimelech hires vain and unstable men with them, and they go after him;
৪তেওঁলোকে বাল-বৰীৎৰ মন্দিৰৰ পৰা তেওঁক সত্তৰ চেকল ৰূপৰ মুদ্ৰা দিলে; অবীমেলকে তাৰে কেইজনমান বেপেৰুৱা দু: সাহসী লোকক ভাড়া কৰিলে অাৰু এওঁলোক তেওঁৰ সঙ্গী হ’ল।
5 and he goes into the house of his father at Ophrah, and slays his brothers, sons of Jerubba‘al, seventy men, on one stone; and Jotham, youngest son of Jerubba‘al, is left, for he was hidden.
৫অবীমেলকে অফ্রাত নিজৰ বাপেকৰ ঘৰলৈ গৈ তেওঁৰ সত্তৰজন ভাইক অর্থাৎ যিৰুব্বালৰ পুতেকসকলক একেটা শিলৰ ওপৰত হত্যা কৰিলে। কেৱল, যিৰুব্বালৰ সৰু পুতেক যোথম লুকাই থকা বাবে সি বাচি গ’ল।
6 And all the masters of Shechem are gathered together, and all the house of Millo, and come and cause Abimelech to reign for king at the oak of the camp which [is] in Shechem;
৬তাৰ পাছত চিখিমৰ আৰু বৈৎ-মিল্লোৰ নেতাসকলে একেলগে আহি চিখিমৰ স্তম্ভৰ ওচৰত থকা ওক গছজোপাৰ কাষলৈ গৈ অবীমেলকক ৰজা পাতিলে।
7 and they declare [it] to Jotham, and he goes and stands on the top of Mount Gerizim, and lifts up his voice, and calls, and says to them, “Listen to me, O masters of Shechem, and God listens to you:
৭যোথমক এই কথা জনোৱাত তেওঁ গৰিজ্জীম পৰ্ব্বতৰ টিঙলৈ উঠি গৈ চিঞঁৰি চিঞঁৰি ক’বলৈ ধৰিলে, “হে চিখিমৰ নেতাসকল, মোৰ কথা শুনা, তাতে ঈশ্বৰেও আপোনালোকৰ কথা শুনিব।
8 The trees have diligently gone to anoint a king over them, and they say to the olive, Reign over us.
৮এবাৰ গছবোৰে নিজৰ কাৰণে এজন ৰজাক অভিষেক কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে বাহিৰ ওলাই গ’ল। সিহঁতে জিত গছক ক’লে, ‘তুমি আমাৰ ৰজা হোৱা।’
9 And the olive says to them, Have I ceased from my fatness, by which they honor gods and men, that I have gone to stagger over the trees?
৯কিন্তু জিত গছে সিহঁতক ক’লে, ‘মোৰ যি তেল ঈশ্বৰ আৰু মানুহক সন্মান কৰিবলৈ ব্যৱহাৰ হয়, তাক এৰি মই কি আন গছবোৰৰ ওপৰত কেৱল দুলি থাকিবলৈকে যামনে?’
10 And the trees say to the fig, Come, reign over us.
১০গছবোৰে ডিমৰু গছক ক’লে, ‘আহাঁ তুমিয়েই আমাৰ ৰজা হোৱা।’
11 And the fig says to them, Have I ceased from my sweetness, and my good increase, that I have gone to stagger over the trees?
১১কিন্তু ডিমৰু গছে সিহঁতক ক’লে, ‘মই জানো মোৰ মিঠা সোৱাদ আৰু উত্তম ফল ত্যাগ কৰি আন গছবোৰৰ ওপৰত দুলি থাকিবলৈ যাম?’
12 And the trees say to the vine, Come, reign over us.
১২পাছে গছবোৰে দ্ৰাক্ষালতাক ক’লে, ‘তুমিয়েই আহি আমাৰ ৰজা হোৱা।’
13 And the vine says to them, Have I ceased from my new wine, which is making gods and men glad, that I have gone to stagger over the trees?
১৩কিন্তু দ্ৰাক্ষালতাই সিহঁতক ক’লে, ‘মোৰ যি ন-ৰসে ঈশ্বৰ আৰু মানুহক সন্তোষ দিয়ে, তাক এৰি মই আন গছবোৰৰ ওপৰত দুলি থাকিবলৈ যামনে?
14 And all the trees say to the bramble, Come, reign over us.
১৪তেতিয়া আটাই গছবোৰে কাঁইট গছক ক’লে, ‘তুমিয়েই আহি আমাৰ ৰজা হোৱা।’
15 And the bramble says to the trees, If in truth you are anointing me for king over you, come, take refuge in my shadow; and if not—fire comes out from the bramble, and devours the cedars of Lebanon.
১৫কাঁইট গছে গছবোৰক ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ ৰজা হ’বলৈ মোক যদি সঁচাকৈ অভিষেক কৰিব বিচাৰা, তেন্তে আহাঁ আৰু মোৰ ছাঁত আশ্রয় লোৱা। তাকে যদি নকৰা, তেন্তে কাঁইট গছৰ পৰা জুই ওলাব আৰু লিবানোনৰ এৰচ গছবোৰকো পুৰি পেলাব।’
16 And now, if you have acted in truth and in sincerity when you make Abimelech king; and if you have done good with Jerubba‘al, and with his house; and if you have done to him according to the deed of his hands—
১৬এতিয়া সেয়ে শুনক, অবীমেলকক ৰজা পাতি আপোনালোকে জানো সত্যতা আৰু বিশ্বস্ততাৰ কার্য কৰিছে? আপোনালোকে জানো যিৰুব্বাল আৰু তেওঁৰ পৰিয়ালৰ প্রতি সুবিচাৰ কৰিছে?
17 because my father has fought for you, and casts his life away from [him], and delivers you from the hand of Midian;
১৭মোৰ পিতৃয়ে আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে, তেওঁ নিজৰ প্ৰাণকো তুচ্ছ জ্ঞান কৰি মিদিয়নীয়াসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা আপোনালোকক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলে;
18 and you have risen against the house of my father today, and slay his sons, seventy men, on one stone, and cause Abimelech son of his handmaid to reign over the masters of Shechem, because he [is] your brother—
১৮কিন্তু আজি আপোনালোকে মোৰ পিতৃ-বংশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ কৰিছে; একেটা শিলৰ ওপৰতে তেওঁৰ সত্তৰজন পুত্রক বধ কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁৰ দাসীৰ পুত্র অবীমেলকক চিখিমৰ লোক সকলৰ ওপৰত ৰজা পাতিলে, কাৰণ তেওঁ আপোনালোকৰ আত্মীয়।
19 indeed, if in truth and in sincerity you have acted with Jerubba‘al and with his house this day, rejoice in Abimelech, and he rejoices—even he—in you;
১৯আজি যদি আপোনালোকে যিৰুব্বাল আৰু তেওঁৰ বংশলৈ ন্যায়পৰায়ণতা আৰু সততাৰে কার্য কৰি থাকে, তেন্তে অবীমেলকত যেন আপোনালোকে আনন্দ কৰে আৰু তেৱোঁ আপোনালোকত আনন্দ কৰক।
20 and if not—fire comes out from Abimelech and devours the masters of Shechem and the house of Millo, and fire comes out from the masters of Shechem and from the house of Millo, and devours Abimelech.”
২০কিন্তু আপোনালোকে যদি ইয়াকে নকৰে, তেনেহ’লে অবীমেলকৰ পৰা যেন জুই ওলাই আহি আপোনালোকৰ অর্থাৎ চিখিম আৰু বৈৎ-মিল্লোৰ লোকসকলক পুৰি পেলাওক; আৰু আপোনালোকৰ অর্থাৎ চিখিম আৰু বৈৎ-মিল্লোৰ লোকসকলৰ মাজৰ পৰাও যেন জুই বাহিৰ হৈ অবীমেলকক পুৰি পেলাওক।”
21 And Jotham hurries, and flees, and goes to Beer, and dwells there, from the face of his brother Abimelech.
২১ইয়াকে কৈ যোথমে ল’ৰ মাৰি বেৰ নামৰ এখন ঠাইলৈ পলাই গ’ল। তেওঁ নিজৰ ভায়েক অবীমেলকৰ ভয়ত সেই ঠাইতে বাস কৰিলে।
22 And Abimelech is prince over Israel [for] three years,
২২অবীমেলকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত তিনিবছৰ শাসন কৰিলে।
23 and God sends an evil spirit between Abimelech and the masters of Shechem, and the masters of Shechem deal treacherously with Abimelech,
২৩তাৰ পাছত ঈশ্বৰে অবিমেলক আৰু চিখিমৰ নেতাসকলৰ মাজত এক দুষ্ট আত্মা পঠাই দিলে। তাতে চিখিমৰ নেতাসকলে অবীমেলকলৈ থকা ভাৰসাক বিশ্বাসঘাটকতা কৰিলে।
24 for [the] coming in of [the] violence [against] seventy sons of Jerubba‘al, and to place their blood on their brother Abimelech, who slew them, and on the masters of Shechem, who strengthened his hands to slay his brothers.
২৪ঈশ্বৰে এই কার্য কৰিলে যাতে যিৰুব্বালৰ সত্তৰজন পুত্রলৈ ৰক্তপাতৰ যি অন্যায় কৰা হ’ল, তাৰ দ্বাৰা তেওঁলোকৰ ভায়েক অবীমেলকৰ ওপৰত আৰু তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰা কার্যত তেওঁৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ সহায়কাৰী চিখিমৰ লোকসকলৰ ওপৰত প্রতিশোধ লোৱা হয়।
25 And the masters of Shechem set ambushes for him on the top of the hills, and rob everyone who passes over by them in the way, and it is declared to Abimelech.
২৫সেয়ে চিখিমৰ লোকসকলে অবীমেলকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাহাৰৰ ওপৰত মানুহ ৰাখিলে আৰু তেওঁলোকে লুকাই থাকি সেই পথেৰে যিসকল লোক যায় তেওঁলোকক লুট-পাট কৰে। এই বিষয়ে অবীমেলকক জনোৱা হ’ল।
26 And Gaal son of Ebed comes—also his brothers—and they pass over into Shechem, and the masters of Shechem trust in him,
২৬সেই সময়ত এবদৰ পুত্ৰ গালে নিজৰ জ্ঞাতি-কুতুম্বসকলৰ সৈতে চিখিমলৈ আহিল আৰু চিখিমৰ নেতাসকলে তেওঁৰ ওপৰত বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কৰিলে।
27 and go out into the field, and gather their vineyards, and tread, and make praises, and go into the house of their god, and eat and drink, and revile Abimelech.
২৭তেওঁলোকে খেতিলৈ গৈ দ্ৰাক্ষাবাৰীৰ পৰা আঙুৰ চপাই গছকিলে আৰু তাৰ ৰসেৰে উৎসৱ কৰিলে। তেওঁলোকে তেওঁলোকৰ দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰলৈ গৈ ভোজন-পান কৰি অবীমেলকক শাও দিলে।
28 And Gaal son of Ebed says, “Who [is] Abimelech, and who [is] Shechem, that we serve him? Is [he] not son of Jerubba‘al? And his commander Zebul? The men of Hamor father of Shechem serve you, and why do we serve him—we?
২৮এবদৰ পুতেক গালে ক’লে, “অবীমেলক কোন যে আমি চিখিমৰ লোকসকল তেওঁৰ অধীনত থাকিম? তেওঁ জানো যিৰুব্বালৰ পুতেক নহয়? জবুল জানো তেওঁৰ শাসনাধিপতি নহয়? আপোনালোকে বৰং চিখিমৰ বাপেক হমোৰৰ বংশধৰসকলৰ অধীন হৈ থাকক; কিয় আমি অবীমেলকৰ অধীনত থাকিম?
29 And oh that this people were in my hand—then I turn Abimelech aside”; and he says to Abimelech, “Increase your host, and come out.”
২৯এই লোকসকল মোৰ বশত থকাহেতেঁন কেনে ভাল হ’লহেতেন! তেতিয়াতো মই অবীমেলকক দুৰ কৰি দিলোঁহেঁতেন। তেওঁ অবীমেলকক সকলো সৈন্য লৈ আহিবলৈ ক’লে।”
30 And Zebul, prince of the city, hears the words of Gaal son of Ebed, and his anger burns,
৩০এবদৰ পুতেক গালৰ সেই কথা নগৰৰ শাসনাধিপতি জবুলৰ কাণত পৰিল আৰু তেওঁ ক্ৰোধত জ্বলি উঠিল।
31 and he sends messengers to Abimelech deceitfully, saying, “Behold, Gaal son of Ebed and his brothers are coming into Shechem, and behold, they are fortifying the city against you;
৩১তেতিয়া তেওঁ অবীমেলকৰ গুৰিলৈ বার্তাবাহকৰ দ্বাৰাই কৈ পঠালে, “এবদৰ পুতেক গাল আৰু তেওঁৰ জ্ঞাতি-কুতুম্বসকলে চিখিমলৈ আহি আপোনাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে নগৰৰ লোকসকলক উত্তেজিত কৰি তুলিছে।
32 and now, rise by night, you and the people who [are] with you, and lay wait in the field,
৩২সেয়ে, আপুনি আৰু আপোনাৰ সৈন্যসকলে ৰাতিতে উঠি আহি খেতিৰ মাজত লুকাই থাকিব।
33 and it has been, in the morning, about the rising of the sun, you rise early, and have pushed against the city; and behold, he and the people who [are] with him are going out to you—and you have done to him as your hand finds.”
৩৩পাছদিনা ৰাতিপুৱা সুৰ্য্য উদয় হোৱা মাত্ৰেই আপোনালোকে উঠি আহি নগৰ আক্ৰমণ কৰিব; যেতিয়া গাল আৰু তেওঁৰ লোকসকল আপোনাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ওলাই আহিব, তেতিয়া আপোনালোকে যিহকে কৰিব পাৰে তাকে তেওঁলোকলৈ কৰিব।”
34 And Abimelech rises, and all the people who [are] with him, by night, and they lay wait against Shechem—four detachments;
৩৪যেতিয়া, অবীমেলক আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো সৈন্যদলে ৰাতিতে উঠিল আৰু চাৰিটা দলত ভাগ হৈ চিখিমৰ ওচৰত লুকাই থকিল।
35 and Gaal son of Ebed goes out, and stands at the opening of the gate of the city, and Abimelech rises—also the people who [are] with him—from the ambush,
৩৫নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই আহি এবদৰ পুতেক গাল প্রৱেশদ্বাৰৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ আছিল। তেনেতে অবীমেলক আৰু তেওঁৰ সৈন্যসকল লুকাই থকা ঠাইৰ পৰা ওলাই আহিল।
36 and Gaal sees the people and says to Zebul, “Behold, people are coming down from the top of the hills”; and Zebul says to him, “You are seeing the shadow of the hills like men.”
৩৬গালে তেওঁলোকক দেখি জবুলক ক’লে, “চাওঁক, পাহাৰৰ ওপৰৰ পৰা লোক সমূহ নামি আহিছে!” জবুলে উত্তৰত ক’লে, “আপুনি পাহাৰৰ ছাঁবোৰকে মানুহ যেন দেখিছে।”
37 And Gaal adds yet to speak and says, “Behold, people are coming down from the high part of the land, and another detachment is coming by the way of the oak of Meonenim.”
৩৭কিন্তু গালে পুনৰায় ক’লে, “চাওঁক, লোকসকল দেশৰ মধ্যস্থানলৈ নামি আহিছে; আৰু এটা দল মোনইনীমৰ বাটেদি আহিছে।”
38 And Zebul says to him, “Where [is] your mouth now, in that you say, Who [is] Abimelech that we serve him? Is this not the people against which you have kicked? Please go out now and fight against it.”
৩৮তেতিয়া জবুলে তেওঁক ক’লে, “এতিয়া আপোনাৰ সেই ডাঙৰ ডাঙৰ কথাবোৰ কলৈ গ’ল? আপুনিয়ে কৈছিলে, ‘অবীমেলক কোন যে আমি তেওঁৰ অধীনত থাকিম?’ এই লোকসকলকেই আপুনি তুচ্ছ জ্ঞান কৰা নাছিল নে? এতিয়া ওলাই গৈ তেওঁলোকৰে সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰক।”
39 And Gaal goes out before the masters of Shechem, and fights against Abimelech,
৩৯তেতিয়া চিখিমৰ নেতা গালে লোকসকলক পৰিচালনা কৰি বাহিৰলৈ ওলাই গ’ল, আৰু অবীমেলকেৰে সৈতে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে।
40 and Abimelech pursues him, and he flees from his presence, and many fall wounded—to the opening of the gate.
৪০অবীমেলকে গালৰ পাছে পাছে খেদি যোৱাত তেওঁ পলাই গ’ল; আৰু তেওঁৰ দলৰ অনেকেই নগৰৰ প্ৰৱেশ দুৱাৰত সোমোৱাৰ আগতেই আঘাত পাই ঢলি পৰিল।
41 And Abimelech abides in Arumah, and Zebul casts out Gaal and his brothers from dwelling in Shechem.
৪১অবীমেলক অৰূমাত থাকিল আৰু জবুলে চিখিমৰ পৰা গাল আৰু তেওঁৰ জ্ঞাতি-কুটুম্বসকলক খেদি বাহিৰ কৰি দিলে।
42 And it comes to pass, on the next day, that the people go out to the field, and they declare [it] to Abimelech,
৪২পাছদিনাখন চিখিমৰ লোকসকলে নগৰৰ বাহিৰ ওলাই খেতিলৈ গ’ল আৰু এই বাতৰি অবীমেলকক জনোৱা হ’ল।
43 and he takes the people, and divides them into three detachments, and lays wait in a field, and looks, and behold, the people are coming out from the city, and he rises against them, and strikes them.
৪৩অবীমেলকে তেওঁৰ লোকসকলক লৈ তিনিটা দলত ভাগ কৰি খেতিৰ মাজত লুকাই থাকিল; যেতিয়া নগৰৰ পৰা লোক সমূহক বাহিৰ হৈ অহা দেখিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক আক্রমণ কৰি বধ কৰিলে।
44 And Abimelech and the detachments who [are] with him have pushed on, and stand at the opening of the gate of the city, and the two detachments have pushed against all who are in the field, and strike them,
৪৪অবীমেলকে তেওঁৰ দলটোৰে সৈতে গৈ নগৰৰ প্রৱেশ-দুৱাৰৰ ওচৰত থিয় হৈ থাকিল; আন দুটা দলে খেতিত থকা সকলো লোকক আক্ৰমণ কৰি বধ কৰিলে।
45 and Abimelech has fought against the city all that day, and captures the city, and has slain the people who [are] in it, and he breaks down the city, and sows it [with] salt.
৪৫সেইদিনা ওৰে দিনটো অবীমেলকে নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে আৰু সেই ঠাইৰ লোক সমূহক বধ কৰি নগৰ অধিকাৰ কৰিলে। তাৰ পাছত নগৰৰ দেৱাল ধ্বংস কৰি তাৰ ওপৰত নিমখ চতিয়াই দিলে।
46 And all the masters of the Tower of Shechem hear, and go into the high place of the house of the god Berith,
৪৬এই খবৰ শুনি চিখিমৰ দুৰ্গৰ নেতাসকলে এল-বৰীৎ দেৱতাৰ মন্দিৰৰ ভিতৰত সোমালগৈ।
47 and it is declared to Abimelech that all the masters of the Tower of Shechem have gathered themselves together,
৪৭অবীমেলকে যেতিয়া শুনিলে যে লোকসকলে চিখিমৰ দুৰ্গলৈ গৈ একেলগ হৈছে,
48 and Abimelech goes up to Mount Zalmon, he and all the people who [are] with him, and Abimelech takes the great axe in his hand, and cuts off a bough of the trees, and lifts it up, and sets [it] on his shoulder, and says to the people who [are] with him, “What you have seen me do—hurry, do as I [have done].”
৪৮তেতিয়া তেওঁ নিজৰ লোকসকলক লগত লৈ চলমোন পৰ্ব্বতলৈ উঠি গ’ল। তেওঁ কুঠাৰ ললে আৰু গছৰ পৰা এটা ডাল কাটি নিজৰ কান্ধত তুলি ল’লে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁৰ লগত থকা লোকসকলক আদেশ দিলে, “তোমালোকে মোক যি যি কৰা দেখিলা, তোমালোকেও শীঘ্রে তেনেকুৱা কৰিবা।”
49 And every one of the people cuts down his bough and goes after Abimelech, and sets [them] at the high place, and burns the high place with fire by these, and also all the men of the Tower of Shechem die—about one thousand men and women.
৪৯সেয়ে সকলোৱে এটা এটা ডাল কাটি লৈ অবীমেলকৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে সেই ডালবোৰ আনি মন্দিৰৰ মাটিৰ তলত থকা সেই ঘৰটোৰ ওপৰত জাপি দি জুই লগাই দিলে; এইদৰে চিখিমৰ দুৰ্গত থকা সকলো লোক মৰিল; তাত প্রায় এক হাজাৰ পুৰুষ আৰু মহিলা আছিল।
50 And Abimelech goes to Thebez, and encamps against Thebez, and captures it,
৫০তাৰ পাছত অবীমেলক তেবেচলৈ গৈ তাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ছাউনি পাতি তাক অধিকাৰ কৰি ল’লে।
51 and a strong tower has been in the midst of the city, and all the men and the women flee there, and all the masters of the city, and they shut [it] behind them, and go up on the roof of the tower.
৫১সেই নগৰৰ ভিতৰত এটা দৃঢ় দুৰ্গ আছিল; সকলো পুৰুষ, মহিলা আৰু নগৰৰ নেতাসকল তালৈ পলাই গৈ দুৱাৰ বন্ধ কৰি নিজকে ভিতৰত আবদ্ধ কৰিলে। তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোক দুর্গৰ চালৰ ওপৰত উঠিলগৈ।
52 And Abimelech comes to the tower, and fights against it, and draws near to the opening of the tower to burn it with fire,
৫২অবীমেলকে সেই দুর্গৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি তাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিলে; তেওঁ দুৰ্গত জুই লগাবৰ বাবে দুৰ্গৰ দুৱাৰৰ ওচৰলৈকে আহিল।
53 and a certain woman casts a piece of a millstone on the head of Abimelech, and breaks his skull,
৫৩কিন্তু তাত এগৰাকী মহিলাই জাঁতৰ ওপৰৰ শিলচটা লৈ অবীমেলকৰ মূৰৰ ওপৰত পেলাই দি তেওঁৰ মূৰৰ খোলা ভাঙিলে।
54 and he calls quickly to the young man carrying his weapons and says to him, “Draw your sword, and you have put me to death, lest they say of me—A woman slew him”; and his young man pierced him through, and he dies.
৫৪তেতিয়া অবীমেলকে ততাতৈয়াকৈ নিজৰ অস্ত্রবহনকাৰী যুবকক মাতি ক’লে, “তোমাৰ তৰোৱাল উলিয়াই মোক বধ কৰা যাতে কোনেও মোৰ বিষয়ে এইদৰে ক’ব নোৱাৰে যে ‘এগৰাকী মহিলাই মোক বধ কৰিলে’।” তেতিয়া সেই যুবকে তেওঁক তৰোৱালেৰে খুচিলে আৰু তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল।
55 And the men of Israel see that Abimelech [is] dead, and each one goes to his place;
৫৫অবীমেলকৰ মৃত্যু হোৱা দেখি ইস্ৰায়েলীয়াসকলে নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ উলটি গ’ল।
56 and God turns back the evil of Abimelech which he did to his father to slay his seventy brothers;
৫৬এই দৰে সত্তৰজন ভায়েকক বধ কৰি অবীমেলকে নিজৰ বাপেকৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যি কুকৰ্ম কৰিলে, ঈশ্বৰে তাৰ সমুচিত দণ্ড তেওঁক দিলে।
57 and God has returned all the evil of the men of Shechem on their [own] head, and the cursing of Jotham son of Jerubba‘al comes to them.
৫৭চিখিমৰ লোকসকলে যি সকলো অন্যায় কৰিছিল, তেওঁলোকৰ নিজৰ মূৰৰ ওপৰত ঈশ্বৰে দণ্ড আনিলে; যিৰুব্বালৰ পুতেক যোথমৰ শাও তেওঁলোকৰ ওপৰত পৰিল।
