Judges 5
1 And Deborah sings—also Barak son of Abinoam—on that day, saying,
उस दिन दबोरा तथा अबीनोअम के पुत्र बाराक ने यह गीत गाया:
2 “For freeing leaders in Israel, For a people willingly offering themselves, Bless YHWH.
“धन्य हैं याहवेह! जब इस्राएल में अगुओं ने अगुवाई की, जब प्रजा अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार तैयार हो गई.
3 Hear, you kings; give ear, you princes, I sing to YHWH, I sing praise to YHWH, God of Israel.
“सुन लो, राजाओं; ध्यान दो शासको! मेरा गीत याहवेह को समर्पित है, मैं याहवेह, इस्राएल के परमेश्वर की स्तुति गाऊंगी.
4 YHWH, in Your going forth out of Seir, In Your stepping out of the field of Edom, The earth trembled and the heavens dropped, And thick clouds dropped water.
“याहवेह, जब आप सेईर से बाहर निकले, जब आपने एदोम क्षेत्र से चलना शुरू किया, पृथ्वी कांप उठी, आकाश टूट पड़ा, यहां तक कि बादलों से बारिश शुरू हो गई.
5 Hills flowed from the face of YHWH, This one—Sinai—From the face of YHWH, God of Israel.
याहवेह के सामने पहाड़ हिल गए. यहां तक कि सीनायी पहाड़ भी, याहवेह, इस्राएल के परमेश्वर के सामने.
6 In the days of Shamgar son of Anath—In the days of Jael—The ways have ceased, And those going in the paths go [in] crooked ways.
“अनात के पुत्र शमगर के दिनों में, याएल के दिनों में, सड़कें सुनी पड़ीं थी, यात्रियों ने दूसरे मार्ग अपना लिए थे.
7 Villages ceased in Israel—they ceased, Until I arose—Deborah, That I arose, a mother in Israel.
इस्राएल देश में अब ग्रामीण नहीं बचे थे, जब तक मैं, दबोरा ने शासन न संभाला था, जब तक मैं, इस्राएल के लिए एक मां के समान उभर न आई.
8 He chooses new gods, Then war [is] at the gates! A shield is not seen—and a spear Among forty thousand in Israel.
नए देवता चुने गए, दरवाजों के अंदर ही युद्ध छिड़ गया, इस युद्ध में न ढाल थी, न बर्छी, जबकि इस्राएल में चालीस हज़ार सैनिक थे.
9 My heart [is] to the lawgivers of Israel, Who are offering themselves willingly among the people, Bless YHWH!
मेरा हृदय इस्राएल के सेनापतियों के पक्ष में है, जिन्होंने अपने आपको अपनी इच्छा से युद्ध सेवा भेंट दी. धन्य हैं याहवेह!
10 Riders on white donkeys—Sitters on a long robe—And walkers by the way—meditate!
“तुम, जो सफ़ेद गधों पर यात्रा करते हो, तुम, जो आलीशान गलीचों पर बैठा करते हो, और तुम, जो पैदल हो, गाओ!
11 By the voice of shouters Between the places of drawing water, There they give out righteous acts of YHWH, Righteous acts of His villages in Israel, Then the people of YHWH have gone down to the gates.
पनघटों के बीच में पानी भरनेवाली स्त्रियों की जो आवाज आ रही है उस पर ध्यान दो, वहां वे याहवेह के नीतियुक्त कामों का वर्णन करेंगे, इस्राएल में अपने ग्रामीणों के लिए किए गए महान कार्य. “तब याहवेह के लोग फाटकों की ओर चले गए.
12 Awake, awake, Deborah; Awake, awake, utter a song; Rise, Barak, and take your captivity captive, Son of Abinoam.
‘जागो, दबोरा, जागो! जागो-जागो, तुम्हारे मुख से गीत फूट पड़ें! उठो बाराक! तुम बंदियों को आगे ले जाओ, अबीनोअम के पुत्र.’
13 Then him who is left of the majestic ones He caused to rule the people of YHWH, He caused me to rule among the mighty.
“तब वे, जो जीवित रह गए थे, अधिकारियों से मिलने आए. याहवेह के लोग योद्धा के समान मेरे पास आए.
14 From Ephraim [are] those whose root [is] in Amalek, After you, Benjamin, among your peoples, From Machir lawgivers came down, And from Zebulun those drawing with the reed of a writer.
एफ्राईम से वे लोग नीचे उतर आए, जिनका मूल अमालेक में है. ओ बिन्यामिन, तुम्हारे लोगों के साथ तुम्हारा अनुगमन करते हुए, माखीर से सेनापति नीचे उतर आए. ज़ेबुलून से वे आए, जो अपने झंडे लिए हुए थे.
15 And princes in Issachar [are] with Deborah, Indeed, Issachar [is] right with Barak, Into the valley he was sent on his feet. In the divisions of Reuben, The decrees of heart [are] great!
यिस्साकार के शासक दबोरा के साथ थे. इस्साखार बाराक के प्रति ईमानदार बना रहा. रियूबेन की टुकड़ियों के बीच में हृदय के पक्के इरादे पाए गए. घाटी में वे उसके पीछे लपक पड़े.
16 Why have you abided between the boundaries, To hear lowings of herds? For the divisions of Reuben, The searchings of heart [are] great!
चरवाहों द्वारा भेड़ों के लिए किए जा रहे बांसुरी के गीत को सुनते हुए तुम भेड़शालाओं में ही क्यों ठहरे रहे? रियूबेन की टुकड़ियों के बीच में बारीकी से हृदय की थाह ली गई.
17 Gilead dwelt beyond the Jordan, And why does Dan sojourn [in] ships? Asher has abided at the haven of the seas, And dwells by his creeks.
गिलआद यरदन के पार ही ठहरा रहा, क्या कारण था कि दान जहाजों में ही ठहरा रहा? आशेर सागर के किनारे पर बैठा देखा गया, और वह समुद्र के किनारे ही ठहरा रहा.
18 Zebulun [is] a people who exposed its soul to death, Naphtali also—on high places of the field.
ज़ेबुलून वंशजों ने अपने प्राणों की चिंता न की; नफताली मैदान के टीलों पर ठहरा रहा.
19 Kings came—they fought; Then kings of Canaan fought, In Taanach, by the waters of Megiddo; They did not take gain of money!
“राजा आए, उन्होंने युद्ध किया, तब तानख में मगिद्दो जलाशय के पास कनान के राजाओं ने युद्ध किया, पर वे इस्राएल के लोगों की कोई चांदी न ले जा सके!
20 They fought from the heavens: The stars fought with Sisera from their highways.
तारों ने आकाश से युद्ध किया. अपनी-अपनी कक्षाओं से उन्होंने सीसरा से युद्ध किया.
21 The Brook of Kishon swept them away, The most ancient brook—the Brook of Kishon. You tread down strength, O my soul!
कीशोन की धारा उन्हें बहा ले गई, पुराने समय से चली आ रही नदी की धारा—कीशोन की धारा. मेरे प्राण, दृढ़ निश्चय कर आगे बढ़ो.
22 Then the horse-heels were broken, By gallopings—gallopings of its mighty ones.
तब घोड़े की टाप सुने गए, उनके शूरवीर घोड़ों के टाप.
23 Curse Meroz, said a messenger of YHWH, Cursing, curse its inhabitants! For they did not come to the help of YHWH, To the help of YHWH among the mighty!
याहवेह के दूत ने आदेश दिया, ‘मेरोज को शाप दो. इसके निवासियों को शाप दो. क्योंकि वे याहवेह की सहायता के लिए नहीं आए; योद्धाओं के विरुद्ध याहवेह की सहायता के लिए.’
24 Above women is Jael, The wife of Heber the Kenite, She is blessed above women in the tent.
“स्त्रियों में परम धन्य है याएल. केनी हेबेर की पत्नी; शिविर में रहनेवाली स्त्रियों में सबसे ज्यादा स्तुति के योग्य.
25 He asked for water—she gave milk; She brought butter near in a lordly dish.
सीसरा ने विनती तो जल की थी, किंतु उसने उसे दूध दे दिया; एक राजसी आलीशान कटोरे में उसने उसको दही दे दिया.
26 She sends forth her hand to the pin, And her right hand to the laborers’ hammer, And she hammered Sisera—she struck his head, Indeed, she struck, and it passed through his temple.
उसने एक हाथ में तंबू की खूंटी उठाई और दाएं हाथ में मज़दूर का हथौड़ा, उसने सीसरा का सिर कुचल डाला. उसने उसकी कनपटी को तोड़ते हुए छेद डाला.
27 He bowed between her feet—He fell, he lay down; He bowed between her feet, he fell; Where he bowed, there he fell—destroyed.
वह उसके पैरों के बीच झुका, वह गिरा और धराशायी हो गया. वह उसके पैरों के बीच झुका, वह गिरा, जहां वह झुक गया था, वह वहीं मरा पड़ा रहा.
28 She has looked out through the window—Indeed, she cries out—the mother of Sisera, Through the lattice: Why is his chariot delaying to come? Why have the steps of his chariot tarried?
“सीसरा की मां खिड़की में से झांकती हुई रो रही थी. ‘सीसरा के रथ के लौटने में देरी क्यों हो रही है? घोड़े की टापों में यह देरी क्यों? रथ लौट क्यों नहीं रहे?’
29 The wise ones, her princesses, answer her, Indeed, she returns her sayings to herself:
उसकी चतुर राजपुत्रियां उसे इसका उत्तर देंगी, वह मन ही मन अपना प्रश्न दोहराती रही:
30 Do they not find? They apportion spoil, A female—two females—for every head, Spoil of finger-work for Sisera, Spoil of embroidered finger-work, Finger-work—a pair of embroidered things, For the necks of the spoil!
‘क्या, उन्हें अब तक लूट का सामान नहीं मिला? क्या, वे सामान का बंटवारा नहीं कर रहे? हर एक योद्धा के लिए एक या दो कन्याएं. सीसरा के लिए रंगे हुए वस्त्र, रंगे हुए तथा कसीदा किए हुए वस्त्र; उनके गले पर, जो लूट में से, दोहरी कशीदाकारी किए हुए वस्त्र?’
31 So do all Your enemies perish, O YHWH, And those loving Him [are] As the going out of the sun in its might!” And the land rests [for] forty years.
“याहवेह, आपके सभी शत्रु इसी प्रकार नष्ट हों! मगर आपके भक्त जो आपसे प्रेम रखते हैं, वह प्रताप के साथ उदय होते हुए सूर्य के समान हों.” इसके बाद देश में चालीस साल तक शांति बनी रही.
