6 And she sends and calls for Barak son of Abinoam, out of Kedesh-Naphtali, and says to him, “Has YHWH, God of Israel, not commanded? Go, and you have drawn toward Mount Tabor, and have taken with you ten thousand men, out of the sons of Naphtali, and out of the sons of Zebulun,
Wasethuma wabiza uBaraki indodana kaAbinowama eKedeshi koNafithali, wathi kuye: INkosi uNkulunkulu wakoIsrayeli kayilayanga yini isithi: Hamba usondele entabeni yeThabhori, uzithathele amadoda azinkulungwane ezilitshumi ebantwaneni bakoNafithali lebantwaneni bakoZebuluni?
7 and I have drawn to you, to the Brook of Kishon, Sisera, head of the host of Jabin, and his chariot, and his multitude, and have given him into your hand.”
Njalo ngizadonsela kuwe esifuleni iKishoni uSisera induna yebutho likaJabini lenqola zakhe lexuku lakhe, ngimnikele esandleni sakho.
8 And Barak says to her, “If you go with me, then I have gone; and if you do not go with me, I do not go”;
UBaraki wasesithi kuye: Uba uhamba lami, ngizahamba; kodwa uba ungahambi lami, kangiyikuhamba.
9 and she says, “I certainly go with you; only, surely your glory is not on the way which you are going, for YHWH sells Sisera into the hand of a woman”; and Deborah rises and goes with Barak to Kedesh.
Wasesithi: Ngizahamba lokuhamba lawe, kodwa udumo kaluyikuba ngolwakho ngendlela ohamba ngayo, ngoba iNkosi izathengisa uSisera esandleni sowesifazana. Wasesukuma uDebora, wahamba loBaraki waya eKedeshi.
10 And Barak calls Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he goes up—ten thousand men [are] at his feet—and Deborah goes up with him.
UBaraki wasebizela oZebuluni loNafithali eKedeshi. Kwasekusenyuka amadoda azinkulungwane ezilitshumi amlandela, loDebora wenyuka laye.
11 And Heber the Kenite has been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretches out his tent to the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.

12 And they declare to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam has gone up to Mount Tabor,
Basebebikela uSisera ukuthi uBaraki indodana kaAbinowama usenyukele entabeni yeThabhori.
13 and Sisera calls all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who [are] with him, from Harosheth of the nations, to the Brook of Kishon.
USisera wasebiza zonke izinqola zakhe, inqola ezingamakhulu ayisificamunwemunye zensimbi, labo bonke abantu ababelaye, kusukela eHaroshethi labezizwe kuze kufike esifuleni iKishoni.

UDebora wasesithi kuBaraki: Vuka! Ngoba yilo lolusuku iNkosi enikele ngalo uSisera esandleni sakho. Kayihambanga yini iNkosi phambi kwakho? Ngakho uBaraki wehla entabeni iThabhori lamadoda azinkulungwane ezilitshumi ngemva kwakhe.
15 And YHWH destroys Sisera, and all the chariots, and all the camp, by the mouth of the sword, before Barak, and Sisera comes down from off the chariot, and flees on his feet.
INkosi yasimsanganisa uSisera lazo zonke izinqola lebutho lonke ngobukhali benkemba phambi kukaBaraki, kwaze kwathi uSisera wehla enqoleni wabaleka ngenyawo zakhe.
16 And Barak has pursued after the chariots and after the camp, to Harosheth of the nations, and all the camp of Sisera falls by the mouth of the sword—there has not been left even one.
UBaraki wasexotshana lezinqola lebutho, waze wafika eHaroshethi labezizwe; ibutho lonke likaSisera laselisiwa ngobukhali benkemba; kakusalanga loyedwa.
17 And Sisera has fled on his feet to the tent of Jael wife of Heber the Kenite, for [there is] peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite;
Kodwa uSisera wabaleka ngenyawo zakhe waya ethenteni likaJayeli umkaHeberi umKeni, ngoba kwakulokuthula phakathi kukaJabini inkosi yeHazori lendlu kaHeberi umKeni.
18 and Jael goes out to meet Sisera and says to him, “Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me, do not fear”; and he turns aside to her, into the tent, and she covers him with a mantle.
UJayeli wasephuma ukuhlangabeza uSisera, wathi kuye: Phambuka, nkosi yami, phambukela kimi, ungesabi. Wasephambukela kuye ethenteni, wamembesa ngengubo.
19 And he says to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty”; and she opens the bottle of milk, and gives him to drink, and covers him.
Wasesithi kuye: Akunginathise amanzi amalutshwana ngoba ngomile. Wasesibukula igula lochago, wamnathisa, wamembesa.
20 And he says to her, “Stand at the opening of the tent, and it has been, if any comes in, and has asked you and said, Is there a man here? That you have said, There is not.”
Wasesithi kuye: Mana emnyango wethente; kuzakuthi-ke, uba kufika umuntu kuwe ekubuza esithi: Kulomuntu lapha yini? Uzakuthi: Kakulamuntu.
21 And Jael wife of Heber takes the pin of the tent, and takes the hammer in her hand, and goes to him gently, and strikes the pin into his temples, and it fastens in the earth—and he has been fast asleep, and is weary—and he dies.
Kodwa uJayeli umkaHeberi wathatha isikhonkwane sethente, wafaka isando esandleni sakhe, wamnyenyela, wabethela isikhonkwane enhlafunweni yakhe sangena emhlabathini, ngoba yena wayelele ubuthongo obukhulu, ediniwe, wasesifa.
22 And behold, Barak is pursuing Sisera, and Jael comes out to meet him, and says to him, “Come, and I show you the man whom you are seeking”; and he comes to her, and behold, Sisera is fallen—dead, and the pin [is] in his temples.
Khangela-ke, uBaraki waxotsha uSisera; uJayeli wasephuma ukumhlangabeza wathi kuye: Woza, ngizakutshengisa umuntu omdingayo. Wasengena ethenteni lakhe, khangela-ke, uSisera wayelele efile, lesikhonkwane sasisenhlafunweni yakhe.
23 And God humbles Jabin king of Canaan before the sons of Israel on that day,
Ngakho ngalolosuku uNkulunkulu wamehlisela phansi uJabini inkosi yeKhanani phambi kwabantwana bakoIsrayeli.
24 and the hand of the sons of Israel goes, going on and becoming hard on Jabin king of Canaan, until they have cut off Jabin king of Canaan.
Isandla sabantwana bakoIsrayeli saqhubeka-ke saba nzima phezu kukaJabini inkosi yeKhanani, baze bamchitha uJabini inkosi yeKhanani.
