Judges 4
1 And the sons of Israel add to do evil in the eyes of YHWH when Ehud is dead,
Po smrti pak Ahoda činili opět synové Izraelští to, což jest zlého před očima Hospodinovýma.
2 and YHWH sells them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who has reigned in Hazor, and Sisera [is] the head of his host, and he is dwelling in Harosheth of the nations;
I vydal je Hospodin v ruce Jabína krále Kananejského, kterýž kraloval v Azor; (a kníže vojska jeho byl Zizara), sám pak bydlil v Haroset pohanském.
3 and the sons of Israel cry to YHWH, for he has nine hundred chariots of iron, and he has oppressed the sons of Israel mightily [for] twenty years.
Tedy volali synové Izraelští k Hospodinu; nebo devět set vozů železných měl, a on násilně ssužoval Izraele za dvadceti let.
4 And Deborah, a woman, a prophetess, wife of Lapidoth, she is judging Israel at that time,
Debora pak žena prorokyně, manželka Lapidotova, soudila lid Izraelský toho času.
5 and she is dwelling under the palm-tree of Deborah, between Ramah and Beth-El, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and the sons of Israel go up to her for judgment.
(A bydlila Debora pod palmou, mezi Ráma a mezi Bethel na hoře Efraim), i chodili k ní synové Izraelští k soudu.
6 And she sends and calls for Barak son of Abinoam, out of Kedesh-Naphtali, and says to him, “Has YHWH, God of Israel, not commanded? Go, and you have drawn toward Mount Tabor, and have taken with you ten thousand men, out of the sons of Naphtali, and out of the sons of Zebulun,
Kterážto poslavši, povolala Baráka, syna Abinoemova, z Kádes Neftalímova, a řekla jemu: Zdaližť nerozkázal Hospodin Bůh Izraelský: Jdi, a shromáždě lid na horu Tábor, vezmi s sebou deset tisíc mužů z synů Neftalím a z synů Zabulon.
7 and I have drawn to you, to the Brook of Kishon, Sisera, head of the host of Jabin, and his chariot, and his multitude, and have given him into your hand.”
Nebo přitáhnu k tobě ku potoku Císon Zizaru kníže vojska Jabínova, a vozy jeho i množství jeho, a dám jej v ruku tvou.
8 And Barak says to her, “If you go with me, then I have gone; and if you do not go with me, I do not go”;
I řekl jí Barák: Půjdeš-li se mnou, půjdu; pakli nepůjdeš se mnou, nepůjdu.
9 and she says, “I certainly go with you; only, surely your glory is not on the way which you are going, for YHWH sells Sisera into the hand of a woman”; and Deborah rises and goes with Barak to Kedesh.
Kteráž odpověděla: Jáť zajisté půjdu s tebou, ale nebudeť s slávou tvou cesta, kterouž půjdeš, nebo v ruku ženy dá Hospodin Zizaru. Tedy vstavši Debora, šla s Barákem do Kádes.
10 And Barak calls Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he goes up—ten thousand men [are] at his feet—and Deborah goes up with him.
Svolav pak Barák Zabulonské a Neftalímské do Kádes, vyvedl za sebou deset tisíc mužů; a šla s ním i Debora.
11 And Heber the Kenite has been separated from the Kenite, from the sons of Hobab father-in-law of Moses, and he stretches out his tent to the oak in Zaanaim, which [is] by Kedesh.
Heber pak Cinejský oddělil se od Kaina, od synů Chobab, tchána Mojžíšova, a rozbil stany své až k Elon v Sananim, jenž jest v Kádes.
12 And they declare to Sisera that Barak son of Abinoam has gone up to Mount Tabor,
Oznámeno pak bylo Zizarovi, že vytáhl Barák syn Abinoemův na horu Tábor.
13 and Sisera calls all his chariots, nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people who [are] with him, from Harosheth of the nations, to the Brook of Kishon.
Protož shromáždil Zizara všecky vozy své, devět set vozů železných, a všecken lid, kterýž měl s sebou z Haroset pohanského, ku potoku Císon.
14 And Deborah says to Barak, “Rise, for this [is] the day in which YHWH has given Sisera into your hand; has YHWH not gone out before you?” And Barak goes down from Mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
I řekla Debora Barákovi: Vstaň, nebo tento jest den, v němž dal Hospodin Zizaru v ruku tvou. Zdali Hospodin nevyšel před tebou? I sstoupil Barák s hory Tábor, a deset tisíc mužů za ním.
15 And YHWH destroys Sisera, and all the chariots, and all the camp, by the mouth of the sword, before Barak, and Sisera comes down from off the chariot, and flees on his feet.
A porazil Hospodin Zizaru a všecky ty vozy, i všecka ta vojska ostrostí meče před Barákem; a sskočiv Zizara s vozu, utíkal pěšky.
16 And Barak has pursued after the chariots and after the camp, to Harosheth of the nations, and all the camp of Sisera falls by the mouth of the sword—there has not been left even one.
Ale Barák honil ty vozy a vojsko až do Haroset pohanského; i padlo všecko vojsko Zizarovo od ostrosti meče, tak že nezůstalo ani jednoho.
17 And Sisera has fled on his feet to the tent of Jael wife of Heber the Kenite, for [there is] peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite;
Zizara pak utíkal pěšky k stanu Jáhel, manželky Hebera Cinejského; nebo pokoj byl mezi Jabínem králem Azor a mezi čeledí Hebera Cinejského.
18 and Jael goes out to meet Sisera and says to him, “Turn aside, my lord, turn aside to me, do not fear”; and he turns aside to her, into the tent, and she covers him with a mantle.
I vyšedši Jáhel v cestu Zizarovi, řekla jemu: Uchyl se, pane můj, uchyl se ke mně, neboj se. I uchýlil se k ní do stanu, a přistřela jej huní.
19 And he says to her, “Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty”; and she opens the bottle of milk, and gives him to drink, and covers him.
Kterýž řekl jí: Dej mi, prosím, píti maličko vody, nebo žízním. A otevřevši nádobu mléčnou, dala mu píti a přikryla ho.
20 And he says to her, “Stand at the opening of the tent, and it has been, if any comes in, and has asked you and said, Is there a man here? That you have said, There is not.”
Řekl také jí: Stůj u dveří stanu, a při-šel-li by kdo, a ptal se tebe, řka: Jest-li zde kdo? odpovíš: Není.
21 And Jael wife of Heber takes the pin of the tent, and takes the hammer in her hand, and goes to him gently, and strikes the pin into his temples, and it fastens in the earth—and he has been fast asleep, and is weary—and he dies.
Potom vzala Jáhel manželka Heberova hřeb od stanu, vzala též kladivo v ruku svou, a všedši k němu tiše, vrazila hřeb do židovin jeho, až uvázl v zemi; (nebo ustav, tvrdě byl usnul), a tak umřel.
22 And behold, Barak is pursuing Sisera, and Jael comes out to meet him, and says to him, “Come, and I show you the man whom you are seeking”; and he comes to her, and behold, Sisera is fallen—dead, and the pin [is] in his temples.
A aj, Barák honil Zizaru. I vyšla Jáhel vstříc jemu, a řekla mu: Poď, a ukážiť muže, kteréhož hledáš. I všel k ní, a aj, Zizara ležel mrtvý na zemi, a hřeb v židovinách jeho.
23 And God humbles Jabin king of Canaan before the sons of Israel on that day,
A tak ponížil Bůh toho dne Jabína krále Kananejského před syny Izraelskými.
24 and the hand of the sons of Israel goes, going on and becoming hard on Jabin king of Canaan, until they have cut off Jabin king of Canaan.
I dotírala ruka synů Izraelských vždy více, a silila se proti Jabínovi králi Kananejskému, až i vyhladili téhož Jabína krále Kananejského.
