< Jude 1 >
1 Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those called, having been loved in God [the] Father, and having been kept in Jesus Christ,
ⲁ̅ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⳿ⲫⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲥⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲓⲁⲕⲱⲃⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲙⲉⲛⲣⲓⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲫⲓⲱⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲑⲁϩⲉⲙ.
2 mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you!
ⲃ̅⳿ⲫⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲧϩⲓⲣⲏⲛⲏ ⲛⲉⲙ ϯⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ⲁϣⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ.
3 Beloved, using all diligence to write to you concerning our common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting [you] to fight for the faith once delivered to the holy ones,
ⲅ̅ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⳿ⲥⲡⲟⲩⲇⲏ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲣⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲓ⳿ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩϫⲁⲓ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲁⲥⲉⲣⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲏ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲛⲟⲙϯ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲁⲅⲱⲛⲓⲍⲉⲥⲑⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲁ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲅⲓⲟⲥ.
4 for there came in certain men stealthily, having been written beforehand to this judgment long ago, impious, perverting the grace of our God to licentiousness, and denying our only Master and Lord—Jesus Christ.
ⲇ̅ⲁⲩⲥⲁϧⲙⲟⲩ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲥϧⲁⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲏ ⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁⲓϩⲁⲡ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲉⲩϣⲓⲃϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲥⲱϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲫⲛⲏⲃ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉⲩϫⲱⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
5 Now I intend to remind you, you once having known all this, that Jesus, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, He secondly destroyed those not having believed;
ⲉ̅ϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲑⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ϩⲱⲥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲡ ⲁ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲕⲁϩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲭⲏⲙⲓ ⳿ⲫⲙⲁϩⲥⲟⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲃ̅ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲕⲱⲟⲩ.
6 messengers also, those who did not keep their own principality, but left their proper dwelling, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness until [the] judgment of [the] great day, (aïdios )
ⲋ̅ϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲏ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲩⲭⲱ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲙⲁ⳿ⲛϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲁϥ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϧⲁ ⳿ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲁⲩϩ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ. (aïdios )
7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these [messengers], having given themselves to whoredom, and having gone after other flesh, have been set before [as] an example, undergoing the justice of continuous fire. (aiōnios )
ⲍ̅⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲇⲟⲙⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲅⲟⲙⲟⲣⲣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲡⲟⲗⲓⲥ ⲉⲧⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲡⲟⲣⲛⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁⲫⲁϩⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲥⲁⲣⲝ ⲥⲉⲭⲏ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ. (aiōnios )
8 In like manner, nevertheless, those dreaming indeed defile the flesh, and they disregard lordship, and they speak evil of glorious [ones],
ⲏ̅ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲛⲁⲓⲕⲉⲭⲱⲟⲩⲛⲓ ⲥⲉⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩⲥⲁⲣⲝ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲫⲱⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲁⲥⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϯ ⲙⲉⲧ⳪ ⲇⲉ ⲥⲉϣⲱϣϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲉϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ.
9 yet Michael, the chief messenger, when disputing with the Devil, reasoning about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring against [him] a judgment of slander, but said, “The LORD rebuke you!”
ⲑ̅ⲙⲓⲭⲁⲏⲗ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲏⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲃⲉ ⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲃⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲩⲥⲏⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲉⲣⲧⲟⲗⲙⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲛϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱϥ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲣⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲁⲕ.
10 But these, indeed, whatever [things] they have not known, they speak evil of; and whatever [they know], like the irrational beasts, they understand naturally—in these they are corrupted;
ⲓ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲉ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⲥⲉϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲫⲩⲥⲓⲕⲱⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲧⲉⲃⲛⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲥⲉⲧⲁⲕⲏⲟⲩⲧ.
11 woe to them! Because they went on in the way of Cain, and they rushed to the deceit of Balaam for reward, and in the controversy of Korah they perished.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ϩⲓ ⳿ⲫⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲫⲱⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲥⲟⲣⲙⲉⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲃⲉⲭ ⲉ ⳿ⲙⲃⲁⲗⲁⲁⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲕⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ ⲁⲛⲧⲓⲗⲟⲅⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲕⲟⲣⲉ.
12 These are stains at your love-feasts, feasting together with you without fear, shepherding themselves; waterless clouds, being carried away by winds; autumnal trees without fruit, having died twice, having been uprooted;
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁϭⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛⲁⲅⲁⲡⲏ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲛ⳿ⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲧϩⲟϯ ϩⲁⲛϭⲏⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲑⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲉⲣⲉ ⳿ⲡⲑⲏ ⲟⲩ ϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣϣⲏⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲑⲓⲛⲟⲡⲟⲣⲟⲛ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩⲙⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡⲃ̅ ⳿ⲉⲁⲩϥⲟϫⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲧⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩⲛⲓ.
13 wild waves of a sea, foaming up their own shameful [deeds]; stars going astray, for whom the gloom of the darkness throughout the age has been kept. (aiōn )
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ϩⲁⲛϩⲱⲓⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲣⲓⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲫⲓⲟⲙ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩϩⲓ⳿ⲥⲫⲏⲓϯ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲓⲡⲓ ϩⲁⲛⲥⲓⲟⲩ ⲉⲩⲥⲟⲣⲉⲙ ⲛⲉ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲧⲭⲉⲙⲥ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn )
14 And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, “Behold, the LORD has come with myriads of His holy ones,
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ϧⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁϩⲍ̅ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲁⲇⲁⲙ ⲉⲛⲱⲭ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲓⲥ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲑⲃⲁ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲩⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϥ.
15 to do judgment against all, and to convict all their impious ones, concerning all their works of impiety that they did impiously, and concerning all the harsh [words] that impious sinners spoke against Him.”
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲉϥ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲡ ϧⲁ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ϩⲃⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲉⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲉⲣⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏ ⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲧ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲁⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ ⲛⲉ ⳿ⲛⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏⲥ.
16 These are discontented grumblers, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaks swollen words, giving admiration to persons for the sake of profit;
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥ⳿ⲭⲣⲉⲙⲣⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥϥⲓⲁⲣⲓⲕⲓ ⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲁϫⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ ⲉⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϣⲫⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲁ⳿ⲛϩⲟ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϩⲏⲟⲩ.
17 but you, beloved, remember the sayings spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϫⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϣⲟⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲉⲛ⳪ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅.
18 that they said to you, that in the last time there will be scoffers, following after their own lusts of impieties,
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲣⲉϥⲉⲣϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲁⲥⲉⲃⲏ ⲥ.
19 these are those causing divisions, natural men, not having the Spirit.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲫⲟⲣϫ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲯⲩⲭⲓⲕⲟⲥ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ.
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
ⲕ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁⲙⲉⲛⲣⲁϯ ⲕⲉⲧ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϩϯ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲱⲃϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲡ͞ⲛⲁ̅ ⲉⲑⲟⲩⲁⲃ.
21 keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [resulting] in continuous life; (aiōnios )

22 and, indeed, show mercy to those who are doubting,

23 and rescue others by snatching [them] out of fire; but show mercy to others in fear, hating even the coat having been stained from the flesh.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩϩⲟϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲟⲥϯ ⳿ⲛϯⲕⲉ⳿ϣⲑⲏⲛ ⲉⲧⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁϭⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲥⲁⲣⲝ.
24 And to Him who is able to guard you without stumbling, and to set [you] in the presence of His glory unblemished, in gladness,
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧ⳿ⲥⲗⲁϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϩⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙⲑⲟ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉϥⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲧⲁϭ ⲛⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲑⲉⲗⲏⲗ.
25 to the only wise God our Savior, [is] glory and greatness, power and authority, both now and forever! Amen. (aiōn )
