Joshua 21
1 And the heads of the fathers of the Levites draw near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel,
Přistoupili pak přední z otců Levítského pokolení k Eleazarovi knězi, a k Jozue, synu Nun, a k předním z otců pokolení synů Izraelských,
2 and they speak to them in Shiloh, in the land of Canaan, saying, “YHWH commanded by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to dwell in, and their outskirts for our livestock.”
A mluvili k nim v Sílo, v zemi Kananejské, řkouce: Hospodin přikázal skrze Mojžíše, abyste nám dali města k přebývání, i podměstí jejich pro dobytky naše.
3 And the sons of Israel give to the Levites, out of their inheritance, at the command of YHWH, these cities and their outskirts:
Dali tedy synové Izraelští Levítům z dědictví svého, vedlé rozkázaní Hospodinova, města tato i podměstí jejich.
4 and the lot goes out for the families of the Kohathite, and there are for the sons of Aaron the priest (of the Levites), out of the tribe of Judah, and out of the tribe of Simeon, and out of the tribe of Benjamin, thirteen cities by lot,
Padl pak los čeledem Kahat, i dáno losem synům Arona kněze, Levítům, z pokolení Juda, a z pokolení Simeon, i z pokolení Beniaminova měst třinácte.
5 and for the sons of Kohath who are left, out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, ten cities by lot.
A jiným synům Kahat, z čeledí pokolení Efraimova, a z pokolení Danova, a z polovice pokolení Manassesova losem dáno měst deset.
6 And for the sons of Gershon, out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, [are] thirteen cities by lot.
Synům pak Gerson, z čeledí pokolení Izacharova, a z pokolení Asserova, též z pokolení Neftalímova, a z polovice pokolení Manassesova v Bázan losem dáno měst třinácte.
7 For the sons of Merari, for their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, [are] twelve cities.
Synům Merari po čeledech jejich, z pokolení Rubenova a z pokolení Gádova, též z pokolení Zabulonova měst dvanácte.
8 And the sons of Israel give these cities and their outskirts to the Levites, as YHWH commanded by the hand of Moses, by lot.
Dali tedy synové Izraelští Levítům ta města i předměstí jejich, (jakož přikázal Hospodin skrze Mojžíše, ) losem.
9 And they give out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, these cities which are called by name;
A tak z pokolení synů Judových, a z pokolení synů Simeonových dána jsou města, kterýchž tuto jména jsou položena.
10 and they are for the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathite, of the sons of Levi, for the first lot has been theirs;
A dostal se první díl synům Aronovým, z čeledí Kahat, z synů Léví; nebo jim padl los první.
11 and they give to them the city of Arba father of Anak (it [is] Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah, and its outskirts around it;
Dáno jest tedy jim město Arbe, otce Enakova, (jenž jest Hebron, ) na hoře Juda, a předměstí jeho vůkol něho.
12 and they have given the field of the city and its villages to Caleb son of Jephunneh for his possession.
Ale pole města toho i vsi jeho dali Kálefovi synu Jefone k vládařství jeho.
13 And to the sons of Aaron the priest they have given the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Hebron and its outskirts, and Libnah and its outskirts,
Synům tedy Arona kněze dali město útočišťné vražedlníku, Hebron i předměstí jeho, a Lebno i předměstí jeho;
14 and Jattir and its outskirts, and Eshtemoa and its outskirts,
A Jeter s předměstím jeho, též Estemo a předměstí jeho;
15 and Holon and its outskirts, and Debir and its outskirts,
Holon i předměstí jeho, a Dabir s podměstím jeho;
16 and Ain and its outskirts, and Juttah and its outskirts, Beth-Shemesh and its outskirts; nine cities out of these two tribes.
Také Ain s předměstím jeho, a Juta s podměstím jeho, i Betsemes a předměstí jeho, měst devět z toho dvojího pokolení.
17 And out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon and its outskirts, Geba and its outskirts,
Z pokolení pak Beniaminova dali Gabaon a předměstí jeho, a Gaba s předměstím jeho;
18 Anathoth and its outskirts, and Almon and its outskirts—four cities;
Též Anatot a podměstí jeho, i Almon s předměstím jeho, města čtyři.
19 all the cities of the sons of Aaron the priests, [are] thirteen cities and their outskirts.
Všech měst synů Aronových kněží třinácte měst s předměstími jejich.
20 And for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, who are left of the sons of Kohath, even the cities of their lot are of the tribe of Ephraim;
Èeledem pak synů Kahat, Levítům, kteříž pozůstali z synů Kahat, (byla pak města losu jejich z pokolení Efraim, )
21 and they give to them the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Shechem and its outskirts, in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Gezer and its outskirts,
Dali jim město útočišťné vražedlníku, Sichem i předměstí jeho, na hoře Efraim, a Gázer s předměstím jeho.
22 and Kibzaim and its outskirts, and Beth-Horon and its outskirts—four cities.
Též Kibsaim a předměstí jeho, a Betoron s předměstím jeho, města čtyři.
23 And out of the tribe of Dan, Eltekeh and its outskirts, Gibbethon and its outskirts,
Z pokolení pak Dan: Elteke a předměstí jeho, a Gebbeton s předměstím jeho;
24 Aijalon and its outskirts, Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts—four cities.
Též Aialon a předměstí jeho, a Getremmon s podměstím jeho, města čtyři.
25 And out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and its outskirts, and Gath-Rimmon and its outskirts—two cities;
Z polovice pak pokolení Manassesova: Tanach a podměstí jeho, a Getremmon s předměstím jeho, města dvě.
26 all the cities [are] ten and their outskirts, for the families of the sons of Kohath who are left.
Všech měst deset s předměstími jejich čeledem synům Kahat ostatním.
27 And for the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Golan in Bashan and its outskirts, and Beeshterah and its outskirts—two cities.
Synům také Gersonovým, z čeledí Levítských, z polovice pokolení Manassesova dali město útočišťné vražedlníku, Golan v Bázan a předměstí jeho, a Bozran s předměstím jeho, města dvě.
28 And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishon and its outskirts, Dabarath and its outskirts,
Z pokolení Izacharova: Kesion a podměstí jeho, a Daberet s předměstím jeho;
29 Jarmuth and its outskirts, En-Gannim and its outskirts—four cities.
Jarmut a předměstí jeho, a Engannim s předměstím jeho, města čtyři.
30 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal and its outskirts, Abdon and its outskirts,
Z pokolení pak Asserova: Mesal a předměstí jeho, též Abdon a podměstí jeho;
31 Helkath and its outskirts, and Rehob and its outskirts—four cities.
Helkat s předměstím jeho, a Rohob s podměstím jeho, města čtyři.
32 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Kedesh in Galilee and its outskirts, and Hammoth-Dor and its outskirts, and Kartan and its outskirts—three cities;
Z pokolení také Neftalímova: Město útočišťné vražedlníku, Kedes v Galilei a předměstí jeho, a Hamotdor s předměstím jeho, a Kartam s předměstím jeho, města tři.
33 all the cities of the Gershonite, for their families, [are] thirteen cities and their outskirts.
Všech měst Gersonitských po čeledech jejich, třinácte měst s předměstími jejich.
34 And for the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites, who are left, [are, ] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and its outskirts, Kartah and its outskirts,
Èeledem pak synů Merari, Levítům ostatním, dali z pokolení Zabulonova Jekonam a předměstí jeho, Karta a předměstí jeho;
35 Dimnah and its outskirts, Nahalal and its outskirts—four cities.
Damna a předměstí jeho, Naalol a předměstí jeho, města čtyři.
36 And out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and its outskirts, and Jahazah and its outskirts,
Z pokolení pak Rubenova: Bozor a předměstí jeho, a Jasa a předměstí jeho;
37 Kedemoth and its outskirts, and Mephaath and its outskirts—four cities.
Kedemot a předměstí jeho, a Mefat s podměstím jeho, města čtyři.
38 And out of the tribe of Gad, the city of refuge [for] the manslayer, Ramoth in Gilead and its outskirts, and Mahanaim and its outskirts,
A z pokolení Gádova: Město útočišťné vražedlníku, Rámot v Galád a předměstí jeho, a Mahanaim s předměstím jeho;
39 Heshbon and its outskirts, Jazer and its outskirts—four cities [in] all.
Ezebon a podměstí jeho, Jazer s podměstím jeho, města čtyři.
40 All the cities for the sons of Merari, for their families, who are left of the families of the Levites—their lot is twelve cities.
Všech měst synů Merari po čeledech jejich, kteříž ostatní byli z čeledí Levítských, bylo podlé losu jejich měst dvanácte.
41 All the cities of the Levites in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel [are] forty-eight cities, and their outskirts.
A tak všech měst Levítských u prostřed vládařství synů Izraelských měst čtyřidceti osm s předměstími svými.
42 These cities are each city and its outskirts around it; so to all these cities.
Mělo pak to město jedno každé obzvláštně svá předměstí vůkol sebe, a taková byla všecka ta města.
43 And YHWH gives to Israel the whole of the land which He has sworn to give to their fathers, and they possess it, and dwell in it;
Dal tedy Hospodin Izraelovi všecku tu zemi, kterouž s přísahou zaslíbil dáti otcům jejich; i opanovali ji dědičně, a bydlili v ní.
44 and YHWH gives rest to them all around, according to all that which He has sworn to their fathers, and there has not stood a man in their presence of all their enemies, YHWH has given the whole of their enemies into their hand;
Dal také Hospodin jim odpočinutí se všech stran podlé všeho, jakž byl s přísahou zaslíbil otcům jejich, aniž kdo byl, ješto by ostál proti nim ze všech nepřátel jejich; všecky nepřátely jejich dal Hospodin v ruku jejich.
45 there has not fallen a thing of all the good thing which YHWH spoke to the house of Israel—the whole has come.
Nepominulo ani jedno slovo ze všelikého slova dobrého, kteréž mluvil Hospodin k domu Izraelskému, ale všecko se tak stalo.
