Joshua 20
1 And YHWH speaks to Joshua, saying,
Yawe alobaki na Jozue:
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, Give cities of refuge for yourselves, as I have spoken to you by the hand of Moses,
« Yebisa bana ya Isalaele ete bapona bingumba ya kokimela, ndenge nayebisaki bino na nzela ya Moyize,
3 for the fleeing there of a manslayer striking life through ignorance, without knowledge; and they have been for a refuge to you from the redeemer of blood.
mpo ete moto nyonso oyo akoboma moto na nko te akoka kokimela kuna mpe azwa ebombamelo liboso ya mobukanisi makila.
4 When [one] has fled to one of these cities, and has stood [at] the opening of the gate of the city, and has spoken his matter in the ears of [the] elderly of that city, then they have gathered him into the city to them, and have given a place to him, and he has dwelt with them.
Soki akimeli kati na moko ya bingumba wana, akotelema na ekotelo ya ekuke ya engumba mpe akotalisa likambo na ye epai ya bampaka ya engumba wana. Bongo bampaka bakoyamba moto yango kati na engumba mpe bakopesa ye esika ya kovanda elongo na bango.
5 And when the redeemer of blood pursues after him, then they do not shut up the manslayer into his hand, for he has struck his neighbor without knowledge, and is not hating him until now;
Soki mobukanisi makila alandi ye, bampaka basengeli te kokaba mobomi yango na maboko na ye, pamba te abomaki mozalani na ye na nko te mpe azalaki liboso na makanisi ya mabe te.
6 and he has dwelt in that city until his standing before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the chief priest who is in those days—then the manslayer turns back and has come to his city, and to his house, to the city from where he fled.”
Akotikala na engumba wana kino tango akoleka na esambiselo liboso ya lisanga mpe kino tango mokonzi ya Banganga-Nzambe oyo azali na mosala na tango wana, akokufa. Na sima na yango nde mobomi yango akoki kozonga na engumba na ye, na ndako na ye, kati na engumba epai wapi awuta. »
7 And they sanctify Kedesh in Galilee, in the hill-country of Naphtali, and Shechem in the hill-country of Ephraim, and Kirjath-Arba (it [is] Hebron), in the hill-country of Judah;
Bana ya Isalaele babulisaki Kedeshi, kati na Galile, kati na mokili ya bangomba ya Nefitali; Sishemi, kati na mokili ya bangomba ya Efrayimi, mpe Kiriati-Ariba oyo ezali Ebron, kati na mokili ya bangomba ya Yuda.
8 and beyond the Jordan, [at] Jericho eastward, they have given Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain, out of the tribe of Reuben, and Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.
Na ngambo mosusu ya Yordani, na este ya Jeriko, baponaki Betseri kati na esobe, na likolo ya ngomba ya libota ya Ribeni; Ramoti kati na Galadi, kati na etuka ya libota ya Gadi; mpe Golani kati na Bashani, kati na etuka ya libota ya Manase.
9 These have been cities of meeting for all the sons of Israel, and for a sojourner who is sojourning in their midst, for the fleeing there of anyone striking life through ignorance, and he does not die by the hand of the redeemer of blood until his standing before the congregation.
Yango nde ezalaki bingumba oyo eponamaki mpo na moto nyonso ya Isalaele to mpe mpo na mopaya nyonso oyo azali kovanda kati na bango. Moto nyonso oyo akoboma moto na nko te akoki kokimela kuna, mpo ete mobukanisi makila aboma ye te, liboso ete aleka na esambiselo na miso ya lisanga.
