Joshua 16

1 And the lot for the sons of Joseph goes out from Jordan [by] Jericho, to the waters of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness going up from Jericho in the hill-country of Beth-El,

೧ಯೋಸೇಫನ ವಂಶದವರಿಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿನ ಮೇರೆಯು: ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ತೀರದಿಂದ ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿನ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ನದಿ, ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿಗೂ ನಡುವೆ ಇರುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ

2 and has gone out from Beth-El to Luz, and passed over to the border of Archi [to] Ataroth,

೨ಬೇತೇಲ್ ಇವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಲೂಜಿಗೂ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅರ್ಕಿಯರ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅಟಾರೋತಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ

3 and gone down westward to the border of Japhleti, to the border of the lower Beth-Horon, and to Gezer, and its outgoings have been at the sea.

೩ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಇಳಿದು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಫ್ಲೇಟ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಬೇತ್ ಹೋರೋನ್ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೆಜೆರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಮುದ್ರ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

4 And the sons of Joseph—Manasseh and Ephraim—inherit.

೪ಇದು ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆ, ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಎಂಬ ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಸ್ವತ್ತಿನ ಮೇರೆಯು.

5 And the border of the sons of Ephraim is by their families; and the border of their inheritance is on the east, Atroth-Addar to the upper Beth-Horon;

೫ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ದೇಶದ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇರೆಯು ಅಟಾರೋತದ್ದಾರಿನ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ಬೇತ್ ಹೋರೋನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

6 and the border has gone out at the sea, to Michmethah on the north, and the border has gone around eastward [to] Taanath-Shiloh, and passed over it eastward to Janohah,

೬ಅದರ ಉತ್ತರ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮೇರೆಯು ಮಿಕ್ಮೆತಾತ್ ಯಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ತಾನತ್ ಶೀಲೋ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.

7 and gone down from Janohah [to] Ataroth, and to Naarath, and touched against Jericho, and gone out at the Jordan.

೭ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಯಾನೋಹ ಊರಿನ ಪೂರ್ವಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಅಟಾರೋತ್, ನಾರಾ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತಾ ಯೆರಿಕೋ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.

8 From Tappuah the border goes westward to the Brook of Kanah, and its outgoings have been at the sea: this [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, for their families.

೮ಅದರ ಮೇರೆಯು ತಪ್ಪೂಹದಿಂದ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಕಾನಾ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ಇವುಗಳೇ.

9 And the separate cities of the sons of Ephraim [are] in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages;

೯ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ ಕುಲದವರ ಮತ್ತು ಮನಸ್ಸೆ ಕುಲದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ದೊರಕಿದವು.

10 and they have not dispossessed the Canaanite who is dwelling in Gezer, and the Canaanite dwells in the midst of Ephraim to this day, and is for forced labor—serving.

೧೦ಅವರು ಗೆಜೆರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಎಫ್ರಾಯೀಮ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
