Joshua 15
1 And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families, is to the border of Edom; the wilderness of Zin southward, at the extremity of the south;
यहूदाका मानिसहरूको कुलको निम्ति कुल-कुलअनुसार भू-भागको भाग सूदूर दक्षिणतिरको चोसो हुँदै जीनको मरुभूमिसँगै एदोमको सिमानाको दक्षिणसम्म थियो ।
2 and to them the south border is at the extremity of the Salt Sea, from the bay which is looking southward;
दक्षिणतिरको सिमाना खारा समुद्रदेखि दक्षिणी मोहडाको खाडीसम्म जान्छ ।
3 and it has gone out to the south to Maaleh-Akrabbim, and passed over to Zin, and gone up on the south to Kadesh-Barnea, and passed over [to] Hezron, and gone up to Adar, and turned around to Karkaa,
तिनीहरूको सिमाना अक्रब्बीमको डाँडाको दक्षिण हुँदै जीनतिर जान्थ्यो, र कादेश-बर्नेको दक्षिणतिर हेस्रोनसँगै अद्दारसम्म जान्थ्यो, जहाँ यो कर्कातिर घुमेको थियो ।
4 and passed over [to] Azmon, and gone out [at] the Brook of Egypt, and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea; this is the south border to you.
यो अज्मोन हुँदै मिश्रको खोलासम्म र समुद्रको अन्तसम्म आयो । यो तिनीहरूको दक्षिणी सिमाना थियो ।
5 And the east border [is] the Salt Sea, to the extremity of the Jordan, and the border at the north quarter [is] from the bay of the sea, at the extremity of the Jordan;
पूर्वी सिमाना यर्दनको मुखमा खारा समुद्र थियो । उत्तरतिरको सिमाना यर्दनको मुखमा भएको समुद्रको खाडीबाट जान्थ्यो ।
6 and the border has gone up [to] Beth-Hoglah, and passed over on the north of Beth-Arabah, and the border has gone up [to] the stone of Bohan son of Reuben:
यो बेथ-अराबालाई छिचलेर बेथहोग्लातिर गयो । त्यसपछि यो रूबेनका छोरा बोहनको ढुङ्गातिर माथि जान्थ्यो ।
7 and the border has gone up toward Debir from the Valley of Achor, and northward looking to Gilgal, which [is] opposite the ascent of Adummim, which [is] on the south of the brook, and the border has passed over to the waters of En-Shemesh, and its outgoings have been to En-Rogel;
त्यसपछि सिमाना आकोरको बेँसीबाट दबीरतिर माथि लाग्यो, र यस्तै उत्तरतिर, गिलगालतिर मोडिएर, जुन अदुममीमको डाँडाको सामुन्ने छ, जुन बेँसीको दक्षिणपट्टि छ । त्यो सिमाना एम-शेमेशको पानीका मूलहरू हुँदै एन-रिगेलतिर गयो ।
8 and the border has gone up the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite on the south (it [is] Jerusalem), and the border has gone up to the top of the hill-country which [is] on the front of the Valley of Hinnom westward, which [is] in the extremity of the Valley of the Rephaim northward;
अनि त्यो सिमाना यबूसी (त्यो भनेको यरूशलेम हो) सहरको दक्षिणतिरको बेन-हिन्नोमको बेँसीतिर माथि निस्क्यो । यो हिन्नोमको बेँसीमाथि पर्ने डाँडाको टुप्पोसम्म निस्क्यो, पश्चिममा, जुन रपाईको बेँसीको उत्ततिरको छेउमा छ ।
9 and the border has been marked out, from the top of the hill-country to the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and has gone out to the cities of Mount Ephron, and the border has been marked out [to] Ba‘alah (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim);
त्यसपछि सिमाना नेप्तोहको पानीको मुहानतिरको डाँडाको चुचुरोदेखि, र त्यहाँबाट एप्रोन पहाडका सहरहरू निस्क्यो ।
10 and the border has gone around from Ba‘alah westward, to Mount Seir, and passed over to the side of Mount Jearim (it [is] Chesalon), on the north, and gone down [to] Beth-Shemesh, and passed over to Timnah;
सिमाना बाला (किर्यत-यारीम हो) तिर मोडिन्छ । त्यसपछि सिमानाबालाको पश्चिमबाट सेइर पहाडसम्म घेरा लगायो, र उत्तरतिर यारीम पहाडको (यसलाई कसालोन भनिन्छ) छेउ हुँदै बेथ-शेमेशतिर ओरालो झरेर तिम्ना पार गर्यो ।
11 and the border has gone out to the side of Ekron northward, and the border has been marked out [to] Shicron, and has passed over to Mount Ba‘alah, and gone out [to] Jabneel; and the outgoings of the border have been at the sea.
सिमाना एक्रोनको उत्तरी डाँडाको किनारा निस्क्यो र यो शिककरोनतिर मोडिन्छ अनि बाला पहाड हुँदै, यो त्यहाँबाट यब्नेलतिर गयो । त्यो सिमाना समुद्रमा टुङ्गियो ।
12 And the west border [is] to the Great Sea, and [its] border; this [is] the border of the sons of Judah all around for their families.
पश्चिमी सिमाना महासमुद्र र यसको किनारा थियो । यो यहूदा वंशको कुल-कुलअनुसारको सिमाना हो ।
13 And to Caleb son of Jephunneh he has given a portion in the midst of the sons of Judah, according to the command of YHWH to Joshua, [even] the city of Arba, father of Anak—it [is] Hebron.
परमप्रभुले यहोशूलाई दिनुभएको आज्ञामुताबिक यहोशूले यपून्नेका छोरा कालेबलाई किर्यत-अर्बा अर्थात् हेब्रोन (अर्बा अनाकका पिता थिए) यहूदाको कुलको माझ भू-भाग दिए ।
14 And Caleb is dispossessing there the three sons of Anak: Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, children of Anak,
कालेबले त्यहाँबाट तिन जना अनाकका छोरालाई धपाएः शेशै, अहीमान र तल्मै जो अनाकका सन्तानहरू थिए ।
15 and he goes up there to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir [was] formerly Kirjath-Sepher.
त्यहाँबाट तिनी दबीरका सन्तानहरूलाई (दबीरलाई किर्यत-सेपेर भनिन्थ्यो) आक्रमण गर्न गए ।
16 And Caleb says, “He who strikes Kirjath-Sephar, and has captured it—I have given my daughter Achsah to him for a wife.”
कालेबले भने, “जुन मानिसले किर्यत-सेपेर आक्रमण गर्छ र यसलाई कब्जा गर्छ, त्यसलाई म मेरो छोरी अक्सालाई पत्नीको रूपमा दिने छु ।”
17 And Othniel son of Kenaz, brother of Caleb, captures it, and he gives his daughter Achsah to him for a wife.
जब कालेबका भाइ कनजका छोरा ओत्निएलले यसलाई कब्जा गरे, कालेबले तिनलाई तिनकी छोरी अक्सा पत्नीको रूपमा दिए ।
18 And it comes to pass, in her coming in, that she persuades him to ask [for] a field from her father, and she comes down off the donkey, and Caleb says to her, “What do you [want]?”
त्यपछि चाँडै अक्सा ओत्निएलकहाँ आइन् र उनले तिनलाई आफ्नो बुबासँग खेत माग्न आग्रह गरिन् । जब तिनी आफ्नो गधाबाट ओर्लिन्, कालेबले तिनलाई भने, “तिमी के चाहन्छ्यौ?”
19 And she says, “Give a blessing to me; when you have given me the land of the south, then you have given springs of waters to me”; and he gives the upper springs and the lower springs to her.
अक्साले जवाफ दिइन्, “मलाई विशेष कृपा गर्नुहोस्, किनभने तपाईंले मलाई नेगेवको भू-भाग दिनुभएको छ, मलाई पानीका मुहानहरू पनि दिनुहोस् ।” अनि कालेबले तिनलाई पानीका माथिल्लो र तल्लो मुहानहरू दिए ।
20 This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah, for their families.
कुल-कुलअनुसार यहूदा वंशका उत्तराधिकार यही थियो ।
21 And the cities at the extremity of the tribe of the sons of Judah are to the border of Edom in the south, Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,
यहूदा कुलको अधीनमा रहेका सुदूर दक्षिणका सहरहरू एदोमको सिमानातिर यी नै थिएः कब्सेल, एदेर, यागूर,
22 and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,
कीना, दीमोना, अदाद,
23 and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,
केदेश, हासोर, यित्नान,
24 Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,
जीप, तेलेम, बालोत,
25 and Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth, Hezron (it [is] Hazor),
हासोरहादत्ता, किर्योत-हेस्रोन (जुन हासोर हो),
26 Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,
अमाम, शेमा, मोलादा,
27 and Hazar-Gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-Palet,
हसर-गद्दा, हेश्मोन, बेथ-पालेत,
28 and Hazar-Shual, and Beer-Sheba, and Bizjothjah,
हसर-शूआल, बेर्शेबा, बिज्योत्या ।
29 Ba‘alah, and Iim, and Azem,
बाला, ईम, एसेम,
30 and Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,
एल्तोलद, कसील, होर्मा,
31 and Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
सिक्लग, मद्मन्न, सन्सन्ना,
32 and Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon; all the cities [are] twenty-nine, and their villages.
लबाओत, शिल्हीम, ऐन, रिम्मोन । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका सब उनन्तिस सहर थिए ।
33 In the low country: Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
पश्चिमतिरको तल्लो पहाडी देशमा, एश्तोल, सोरा, अश्ना,
34 and Zanoah, and En-Gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,
जानोह, एनगन्नीम, तप्पूह, एनाम,
35 Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,
यर्मूत, अदूल्लाम, सोको, आजेका,
36 and Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities and their villages.
शारैम, अदीतैम, र गदेरा (अर्थात् गदेरोतेम)। यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित चौध सहर थिए ।
37 Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-Gad,
सनान, हदाशा, मिग्दलाद,
38 and Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,
दिलान, मिस्पा, योक्तेल,
39 Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,
लाकीश, बोस्कत, एग्लोन,
40 and Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,
कोब्बन, लहमास, कितलीश,
41 and Gederoth, Beth-Dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities and their villages.
गदेरोत, बेथ-दागोन, नामा, मक्केदा । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित सोह्रवटा थिए ।
42 Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,
लिब्ना, एतेर, आशान,
43 and Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
यिप्ताह, अश्ना, नसीब,
44 and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages.
कीलाह, अक्जीब, मारेशा । यिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नौवटा सहर थिए ।
45 Ekron and its towns and its villages,
यसका वरिपरिका नगरहरू र गाउँहरूसहित एक्रोन;
46 from Ekron and westward, all that [are] by the side of Ashdod, and their villages.
एक्रोनदेखि महासमुद्रसम्म, तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित अश्दोद नजिकका सबै बस्ती ।
47 Ashdod, its towns and its villages, Gaza, its towns and its villages, to the Brook of Egypt, and the Great Sea, and [its] border.
अश्दोद, यसका वरिपरिका तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नगरहरू, गाजा, यसका वरिपरिका तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित नगरहरू; मिश्रको खोलासम्म, र यसको किनारासँगै महासमुद्रसम्म ।
48 And in the hill-country: Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,
पहाडी देशमा, शामीर, यत्तीर, सोको,
49 and Dannah, and Kirjath-Sannah (it [is] Debir),
दन्ना, किर्यत-सन्ना (अर्थात् दबीर),
50 and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,
अनाब, एश्तमोह, अनीम,
51 and Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities and their villages.
गोशेन, होलोन, गीलोह । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका एघार सहर थिए ।
52 Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,
अरब, दुमा, एशान,
53 and Janum, and Beth-Tappuah, and Aphekah,
यानूम, बेथ-तप्पूह, अपेका,
54 and Humtah, and Kirjath-Arba (it [is] Hebron), and Zior; nine cities and their villages.
हुम्ता, किर्यत-अर्बा (अर्थात् हेब्रोन), र सीओर । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहितका नौवटा नगर हुन् ।
55 Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,
माओन, कर्मेल, जीप, युक्ता,
56 and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,
यिजरेल, योक्दाम, जानोह,
57 Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities and their villages.
कैन, गिबा र तिम्ना । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित दसवटा सहर थिए ।
58 Halhul, Beth-Zur, and Gedor,
हलहूल, बेथ-सर, गदोर,
59 and Maarath, and Beth-Anoth, and Eltekon; six cities and their villages.
मारात, बेथ-अनोत र एल्तकोन । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका गाउँहरूसहित छवटा सहर थिए ।
60 Kirjath-Ba‘al (it [is] Kirjath-Jearim), and Rabbah; two cities and their villages.
किर्यत-बाल (अर्थात् किर्यत-यारीम), र रब्बा । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका सहरहरूसहित दुईवटा सहर थिए ।
61 In the wilderness: Beth-Arabah, Middin, and Secacah,
मरुभूमिमा त्यहाँ बेथ-अराबा, मिद्दीन, सकाका,
62 and Nibshan, and the City of Salt, and En-Gedi; six cities and their villages.
निब्शान, नूनको सहर र एन-गदी थिए । यिनीहरू तिनीहरूका सहरहरूसहित छवटा सहर थिए ।
63 As for the Jebusites, inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah have not been able to dispossess them, and the Jebusite dwells with the sons of Judah in Jerusalem to this day.
तर यबूसीहरू अर्थात् यरूशलेमका बासिन्दाहरूको सवालमा यहूदाका कुलले तिनीहरूलाई धपाउन सकेनन्, त्यसैले आजको दिनसम्म पनि यबूसीहरू यहूदाको कुलको माझमा बस्छन् ।
