Joshua 12

1 And these [are] kings of the land whom the sons of Israel have struck, and possess their land beyond the Jordan, at the sun-rising, from the Brook of Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the plain eastward:

இஸ்ரயேலரால் முறியடிக்கப்பட்ட நாட்டின் அரசர்கள் இவர்களே: யோர்தானுக்குக் கிழக்கே, அர்னோன் கணவாய் தொடங்கி, அரபாவின் கிழக்குப்பகுதி உட்பட எர்மோன் மலைவரையுள்ள அரசர்களுடைய நிலப்பகுதியை இஸ்ரயேலர் கைப்பற்றினர்.

2 Sihon, king of the Amorite, who is dwelling in Heshbon, ruling from Aroer which [is] on the border of the Brook of Arnon, and the middle of the brook, and half of Gilead, and to the Brook of Jabok, the border of the sons of Ammon;

எமோரிய அரசன் சீகோன் எஸ்போனில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான். அவனுடைய ஆட்சி அர்னோன் கணவாயின் ஓரத்தில் உள்ள அரோயேர் தொடங்கி, அர்னோன் கணவாயின் நடுப்பகுதி வழியாக யாப்போக் ஆறுவரை இருந்தது. யாப்போக் ஆறு அம்மோனியரின் எல்லையாயிருந்தது. இது கீலேயாத்தின் அரைப்பகுதியை உள்ளடக்கியிருந்தது.

3 and the plain to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and to the Sea of the Plain (the Salt Sea) eastward, the way to Beth-Jeshimoth, and from the south under the Springs of Pisgah.

அதோடு கிழக்கு அரபாவையும் இவனே ஆட்சிசெய்தான். அந்த நாடு கலிலேயாக்கடலிலிருந்து உப்புக்கடல்வரை போய் பெத்யெசிமோத் பட்டணம் வரையும் இருந்தது. பின்பு அது தெற்கே பிஸ்கா மலைச்சரிவுகளையும் உள்ளடக்கியதாயிருந்தது.

4 And the border of Og king of Bashan (of the remnant of the Rephaim), who is dwelling in Ashtaroth and in Edrei,

பாசானின் அரசனாகிய ஓகு ஆட்சி செய்த பகுதியையும் இஸ்ரயேலர் கைப்பற்றினர். அவன் அஸ்தரோத், எத்ரே ஆகிய நிலப்பகுதி எல்லைகளை ஆட்சி செய்த ரெப்பாயீமியரைச் சேர்ந்த கடைசி அரசர்களில் ஒருவன்.

5 and ruling in Mount Hermon, and in Salcah, and in all Bashan, to the border of the Geshurite, and the Maachathite, and the half of Gilead, the border of Sihon king of Heshbon.

அவன் எர்மோன் மலைநாடு, சல்கா பிரதேசம், மற்றும் பாசான் நாடு முழுவதையும் ஆட்சிசெய்தான். கேசூரியர், மாகாத்தியர் ஆகியோரின் பிரதேசங்களை எல்லையாகக்கொண்ட இடங்களையும் ஆட்சிசெய்தான். அவனுடைய ஆட்சி கீலேயாத்தின் அரைப்பகுதியை உள்ளடக்கியதாயிருந்தது. தெற்கே எஸ்போனின் அரசனாகிய சீகோனின் எல்லைவரை இருந்தது. சீகோன் எஸ்போனின் அரசனாயிருந்தான்.

6 Moses, servant of YHWH, and the sons of Israel have struck them, and Moses, servant of YHWH, gives it—a possession to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh.

யெகோவாவின் அடியானாகிய மோசேயும் இஸ்ரயேலரும் இவ்விரு அரசர்களையும் வெற்றிகொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அத்துடன் யெகோவாவின் அடியானாகிய மோசே, கைப்பற்றப்பட்ட அவர்களுடைய நாட்டை இஸ்ரயேலரின் கோத்திரத்தாராகிய ரூபனியர், காத்தியர், மனாசே கோத்திரத்தின் அரைப்பகுதியினர் ஆகியோருக்குச் சொத்துரிமை நிலமாகக் கொடுத்தான்.

7 And these [are] kings of the land whom Joshua and the sons of Israel have struck beyond the Jordan westward, from Ba‘al-Gad, in the Valley of Lebanon, and to the Mount of Halak, which is going up to Seir; and Joshua gives it to the tribes of Israel—a possession according to their divisions;

யோர்தானுக்கு மேற்கேயுள்ள பகுதியில் யோசுவாவும் இஸ்ரயேலரும் வெற்றிகொண்ட நாட்டின் அரசர்களான இவர்கள் லெபனோன் பள்ளத்தாக்கில் உள்ள பாகால்காத் முதல் சேயீரை நோக்கி உயர்ந்துசெல்லும் ஆலாக் மலைவரையுள்ள பகுதியில் ஆட்சிசெய்தார்கள். இவர்களது நாடுகளை யோசுவா கைப்பற்றி, இஸ்ரயேலரின் கோத்திரங்களுக்கு ஏற்ப அவற்றைப் பிரித்து சொத்துரிமை நாடாக ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரங்களுக்கும் கொடுத்தான்.

8 in the hill-country, and in the low country, and in the plain, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south; the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

அப்பகுதிகள் நடுவிலுள்ள மலை நாடுகள், மேற்கு மலையடிவாரப்பகுதிகள், அரபா, மலைச்சரிவுகள், யூதாவின் வறண்ட நிலம், நெகேவ் வனாந்திரம் ஆகியவற்றை உள்ளடக்கியிருந்தன. அவை முன்னர் ஏத்தியர், எமோரியர், கானானியர், பெரிசியர், ஏவியர், எபூசியர் என்பவர்களது நாடுகளாயிருந்தன. இவர்களே யோசுவா வெற்றிகொண்ட அரசர்கள்:

9 the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which [is] beside Bethel, one;

எரிகோவின் அரசன் ஒருவன், பெத்தேலுக்கு அருகேயிருந்த ஆயியின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

10 the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

எருசலேமின் அரசன் ஒருவன், எப்ரோனின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

11 the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

யர்மூத்தின் அரசன் ஒருவன், லாகீசின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

12 the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

எக்லோனின் அரசன் ஒருவன், கேசேரின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

13 the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

தெபீரின் அரசன் ஒருவன், கெதேரின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

14 the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;

ஓர்மாவின் அரசன் ஒருவன், ஆராதின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

15 the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one;

லிப்னாவின் அரசன் ஒருவன், அதுல்லாமின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

16 the king of Mekkedah, one; the king of Beth-El, one;

மக்கெதாவின் அரசன் ஒருவன், பெத்தேலின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

17 the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one;

தப்புவாவின் அரசன் ஒருவன், எப்பேரின் அரசன் ஒருவன்

18 the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one;

ஆப்பெக்கின் அரசன் ஒருவன், லசரோனின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

19 the king of Madon, one; the king of Hazor, one;

மாதோனின் அரசன் ஒருவன், ஆத்சோரின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

20 the king of Shimron-Meron, one; the king of Achshaph, one;

சிம்ரோன் மோரோனின் அரசன் ஒருவன், அக்சாபின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

21 the king of Taanach, one; the king of Megiddo, one;

தானாகின் அரசன் ஒருவன், மெகிதோவின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

22 the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, one;

கேதேசின் அரசன் ஒருவன், கர்மேலிலுள்ள யொக்னியாமின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

23 the king of Dor, at the elevation of Dor, one; the king of the nations of Gilgal, one;

நாபோத்தோரிலுள்ள தோரின் அரசன் ஒருவன், கில்காலில் உள்ள கோயிமின் அரசன் ஒருவன்,

24 the king of Tirzah, one; all the kings [are] thirty-one.

திர்சாவின் அரசன் ஒருவன். இவ்வாறாக, மொத்தம் முப்பத்தொரு அரசர்கள் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்.
