Joshua 11
1 And it comes to pass, when Jabin king of Hazor hears, that he sends to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
А кад то чу Јавин цар асорски, посла к Јоваву цару адонском и к цару имронском и к цару ахсавском,
2 and to the kings who [are] on the north in the hill-country, and in the plain south of Chinneroth, and in the low country, and in the elevations of Dor, on the west,
И к царевима који беху на северу у горама и по равницама на југу од Хинерота и у долини и у Нафат-Дору на запад,
3 [to] the Canaanite on the east, and on the west, and the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Jebusite in the hill-country, and the Hivite under Hermon, in the land of Mizpeh—
Ка Хананејину на истоку и западу, и Аморејину и Хетејину и Ферезејину и Јевусејину у горама, и к Јевејину под Ермоном у земљи Миспи.
4 and they go out, they and all their camps with them, a people numerous, as the sand which [is] on the seashore for multitude, and [with] very many horse and charioteer;
И изађоше они и сва војска њихова с њима, многи народ као песак на брегу морском, и коњи и кола многа веома.
5 and all these kings are met together, and they come and encamp together at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.
Сви ти цареви договорише се и дођоше, и стадоше заједно у логор на води Мерому, да ударе на Израиља.
6 And YHWH says to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of their presence, for about this time tomorrow I am giving all of them slain before Israel; hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.”
А Господ рече Исусу: Не бој их се; јер сутра у ово доба ја ћу учинити те ће сви бити побијени пред Израиљем; коњима њиховим испресецај жиле, и кола њихова попали огњем.
7 And Joshua comes, and all the people of war with him, against them by the waters of Merom, and they suddenly fall on them;
И изађе Исус и сва војска с њим на њих на воду Мером изненада, и ударише на њих.
8 and YHWH gives them into the hand of Israel, and they strike them and pursue them to the great Sidon, and to Misrephoth-Maim, and to the Valley of Mizpeh eastward, and they strike them, until he has not left a remnant to them;
И Господ их даде у руке Израиљу, те их разбише и тераше их до Сидона великог и до воде Мисрефота и до поља Миспе на исток; и тако их побише да не оставише ниједног живог.
9 and Joshua does to them as YHWH commanded to him; he has hamstrung their horses, and burned their chariots with fire.
И учини им Исус како му беше заповедио Господ: коњима њиховим испресеца жиле, и кола њихова попали огњем.
10 And Joshua turns back at that time, and captures Hazor, and he has struck its king by the sword; for Hazor [was] formerly head of all these kingdoms;
И вративши се Исус у то време, узе Асор, и уби цара његовог мачем; а Асор беше, пре, глава свим тим царствима.
11 and they strike every person who [is] in it by the mouth of the sword; he has devoted—he has not left anyone breathing, and he has burned Hazor with fire;
И побише све живо што беше у њему оштрим мачем секући, те не оста ништа живо; а Асор спалише огњем.
12 and all the cities of these kings, and all their kings, Joshua has captured, and he strikes them by the mouth of the sword; he devoted them, as Moses, servant of YHWH, commanded.
И све градове оних царева и све цареве њихове узе Исус и исече их оштрим мачем и поби их, као што беше заповедио Мојсије слуга Господњи.
13 Only, all the cities which are standing by their hill, Israel has not burned them—except Joshua has burned Hazor, only;
Али ниједног града који оста у опкопима својим не попали Израиљ, осим самог Асора, који спали Исус.
14 and all the spoil of these cities, and the livestock, the sons of Israel have spoiled for themselves; only, they have struck every man by the mouth of the sword, until their destroying them; they have not left anyone breathing.
А сав плен из тих градова и стоку пограбише за себе синови Израиљеви; само људе све исекоше оштрим мачем, те их истребише, не оставише ништа живо.
15 As YHWH commanded His servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua, and so Joshua has done; he has not turned aside a thing of all that YHWH commanded Moses.
Како заповеди Господ Мојсију, слузи свом, тако Мојсије заповеди Исусу, а Исус тако учини; ништа не изостави од свега што беше Господ заповедио Мојсију.
16 And Joshua takes all this land: the hill-country, and all the south, and all the land of Goshen, and the low country, and the plain, even the hill-country of Israel and its low lands,
И тако узе Исус сву ту земљу, горе и сав јужни крај и сву земљу госенску, и равницу и поље, гору Израиљеву и равницу његову.
17 from the Mount of Halak, which is going up [to] Seir, and to Ba‘al-Gad, in the Valley of Lebanon, under Mount Hermon; and he has captured all their kings, and he strikes them, and puts them to death.
Од горе Алака, која се пружа к Сиру, до Вал-Гада у пољу ливанском, под гором Ермоном и све цареве њихове зароби и поби их и погуби.
18 Joshua has made war with all these kings [for] many days;
Дуго времена војева Исус на те цареве.
19 there has not been a city which made peace with the sons of Israel except the Hivite, inhabitants of Gibeon; they have taken the whole in battle;
Не би ниједног града који учини мир са синовима Израиљевим, осим Јевеја који живљаху у Гаваону; све их узеше ратом.
20 for it has been from YHWH to strengthen their heart, to meet in battle with Israel, in order to devote them, so that they have no grace, but in order to destroy them, as YHWH commanded Moses.
Јер од Господа би, те отврдну срце њихово да изађу у бој на Израиља, да би их потро и да им не би било милости, него да би их истребио, као што беше заповедио Господ Мојсију.
21 And Joshua comes at that time, and cuts off the Anakim from the hill-country, from Hebron, from Debir, from Anab, and from all the hill-country of Judah, and from all the hill-country of Israel; Joshua has devoted them with their cities.
У то време дође Исус, те истреби Енакиме из гора, из Хеврона, из Давира, из Анава и из све горе Јудине и из све горе Израиљеве, с градовима њиховим потре их Исус.
22 There has not been Anakim left in the land of the sons of Israel; only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod, were they left.
Ниједан Енаким не оста у земљи синова Израиљевих; само у Гази, у Гату и у Азоту осташе.
23 And Joshua takes the whole of the land, according to all that YHWH has spoken to Moses, and Joshua gives it for an inheritance to Israel according to their divisions, by their tribes; and the land has rest from war.
Тако узе Исус сву земљу, као што беше казао Господ Мојсију; и даде је у наследство Израиљу према деловима њиховим, по племенима њиховим. И земља почину од рата.
