John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God;
| لە سەرەتادا، وشەکە هەبوو، وشەکە لەلای خودا بوو، وشەکە خۆی خودا بوو. |
2 this One was in the beginning with God;
| ئەو لە سەرەتاوە لەلای خودا بوو. |
3 all things happened through Him, and without Him not even one thing happened that has happened.
| هەموو شتێک بەو بەدیهاتووە، بێ ئەو هیچ شتێک بەدی نەهاتووە لەوانەی کە بەدیهاتوون. |
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men,
| وشەکە سەرچاوەی ژیان بوو، ژیانەکەش ڕووناکی مرۆڤ بوو، |
5 and the light shined in the darkness, and the darkness did not perceive it.
| ڕووناکییەکەش لە تاریکیدا دەدرەوشێتەوە و تاریکییەکە بەسەریدا زاڵ نەبووە. |
6 There came a man—having been sent from God—whose name [is] John,
| مرۆڤێک هات کە خودا ناردبووی، ناوی یەحیا بوو. |
7 this one came for testimony, that he might testify about the Light, that all might believe through him;
| ئەو بۆ شایەتی هات، تاکو شایەتی بۆ ڕووناکییەکە بدات، بۆ ئەوەی هەمووان لە ڕێگەی ئەوەوە باوەڕ بهێنن. |
8 that one was not the Light, but—that he might testify about the Light.
| ئەو ڕووناکییەکە نەبوو، بەڵکو هات تاکو شایەتی بۆ ڕووناکییەکە بدات. |
9 He was the true Light, which enlightens every man, coming into the world;
| ئەو ڕووناکییە ڕاستەقینەیەی کە بەسەر هەموو مرۆڤێکدا دەدرەوشێتەوە، دەهاتە جیهان. |
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him:
| ئەو لە جیهاندا بوو، جیهانیش بەو بەدیهات، کەچی جیهان نەیناسی. |
11 He came to [His] own, and [His] own did not receive Him;
| ئەو بۆ لای گەلەکەی هات بەڵام ئەوان پێشوازییان لێ نەکرد. |
12 but as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become sons of God—to those believing in His Name,
| لەگەڵ ئەوەشدا هەموو ئەوانەی پێشوازییان لێکرد، ئەوانەی باوەڕیان بە ناوی هێنا، مافی پێدان ببنە ڕۆڵەی خودا، |
13 who were begotten, not of blood, nor of will of flesh, nor of will of man, but of God.
| ئەوانەی نە بە سروشت لەدایک بوون، نە بە خواستی مرۆڤ، نە بە ویستی پیاویش، بەڵکو لە خوداوە لەدایک بوون. |
14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, glory as of [the] only begotten of [the] Father, full of grace and truth.
| وشەکەش بوو بە مرۆڤ و لەنێوانماندا نیشتەجێ بوو. شکۆی ئەومان بینی، وەک شکۆی تاقانەیەک لە باوکەوە، پڕ لە نیعمەت و ڕاستی. |
15 John testifies concerning Him, and has cried, saying, “This was He of whom I said, He who is coming after me has come before me, for He was before me.”
| یەحیا شایەتی بۆ دا و هاواری کرد: «ئەمە ئەوەیە کە گوتم: ئەوەی دوای من دێت پێشم کەوت، چونکە پێش من بووە.» |
16 And we all received out of His fullness, and grace for grace;
| لە گەنجینەی پڕیی ئەوەوە هەموومان نیعمەت لەدوای نیعمەتمان وەرگرتووە، |
17 for the Law was given through Moses, the grace and the truth came through Jesus Christ.
| چونکە تەورات لە ڕێگەی موساوە درا، بەڵام نیعمەت و ڕاستی لە ڕێگەی عیسای مەسیحەوە هات. |
18 No one has ever seen God; the only begotten God who is on the bosom of the Father—He has expounded [Him].
| هەرگیز کەس خودای نەبینیوە جگە لە کوڕە تاقانەکەی خودا، ئەوەی لە باوەشی باوکدایە، ئەو خودای دەرخست. |
19 And this is the testimony of John when the Jews sent priests and Levites out of Jerusalem, that they might question him, “Who are you?”
| ئەمەش شایەتییەکەی یەحیایە، کاتێک ڕابەرانی جولەکەی ئۆرشەلیم کاهین و لێڤییان ناردە لای پرسیاری لێ بکەن: «تۆ کێیت؟» |
20 And he confessed and did not deny, and confessed, “I am not the Christ.”
| ئەو دانی پێدا نا و نکۆڵی نەکرد، بەڵکو گوتی: «من مەسیحەکە نیم.» |
21 And they questioned him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” And he says, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” And he answered, “No.”
| ئینجا لێیان پرسی: «ئەی کێیت؟ ئەلیاسی؟» گوتی: «نا، ئەو نیم.» «ئەی تۆ پێغەمبەرەکەی؟» گوتی: «نەخێر.» |
22 Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give an answer to those sending us? What do you say concerning yourself?”
| لە کۆتاییدا پێیان گوت: «باشە تۆ کێیت؟ تاکو وەڵامێک بدەینەوە ئەوانەی کە ئێمەیان ناردووە، دەربارەی خۆت چی دەڵێی؟» |
23 He said, “I [am] a voice of one crying in the wilderness: Make straight the way of the LORD, as Isaiah the prophet said.”
| یەحیا بە وشەکانی ئیشایای پێغەمبەر وەڵامی دانەوە و گوتی: «[من ئەو کەسەم کە لە چۆڵەوانی هاوار دەکات:”ڕێگا بۆ هاتنی یەزدان ئامادە بکەن.“]» |
24 And those sent were of the Pharisees,
| ئەوانەی لەلایەن فەریسییەکانەوە نێردرابوون، |
25 and they questioned him and said to him, “Why, then, do you immerse, if you are not the Christ, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”
| لێیان پرسی: «ئەگەر تۆ مەسیحەکە نیت و ئەلیاس نیت و پێغەمبەرەکەش نیت، ئیتر بۆچی خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشیت؟» |
26 John answered them, saying, “I immerse in water, but in the midst of you has stood He whom you have not known, it is this One who is coming after me, who has been before me,
| یەحیاش وەڵامی دانەوە: «من خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشم، بەڵام یەکێک لەنێوانتان ڕاوەستاوە کە نایناسن، |
27 of whom I am not worthy that I may loose the strap of His sandal.”
| ئەو لەدوای من دێت، من شایانی ئەوە نیم کە قەیتانی پێڵاوەکانی بکەمەوە.» |
28 These things came to pass in Bethabara, beyond the Jordan, where John was immersing.
| ئەمانە لە بێت‌عەنیا ڕوویدا، لەوبەری ڕووباری ئوردونەوە، لەو شوێنەی یەحیا خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵدەکێشا. |
29 On the next day John sees Jesus coming to him and says, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who is taking away the sin of the world;
| بۆ بەیانی کاتێک یەحیا بینی عیسا بەرەو ڕووی دێت، گوتی: «ئەوەتا بەرخی خودا، ئەوەی گوناهی جیهان لادەبات! |
30 this is He concerning whom I said, After me comes a Man who has come before me, because He was before me:
| ئەمە ئەوەیە کە باسم کرد، پیاوێک دوای من دێت کە پێشم کەوتووە، چونکە پێش من بووە. |
31 and I did not know Him, but that He might be revealed to Israel, because of this I came immersing in water.”
| منیش نەمدەناسی، بەڵام هاتووم خەڵکی لە ئاو هەڵبکێشم بۆ ئەوەی ئەو بۆ ئیسرائیل دەربکەوێت.» |
32 And John testified, saying, “I have seen the Spirit coming down out of Heaven as a dove, and [that] One remained on Him;
| ئینجا یەحیا شایەتی دا و گوتی: «بینیم ڕۆحی پیرۆز وەک کۆترێک لە ئاسمانەوە دەهاتە خوارەوە و لەسەری نیشتەوە. |
33 and I did not know Him, but He who sent me to immerse in water, He said to me, On whomsoever you may see the Spirit coming down, and remaining on Him, this is He who is immersing in the Holy Spirit;
| من نەمدەناسی، بەڵام ئەوەی منی ناردووە خەڵک لەئاوهەڵکێشم، پێی گوتم:”ئەوەی دەیبینیت ڕۆحی پیرۆز دێتە خوارەوە و لەسەری دەنیشێتەوە، ئەو لە ڕۆحی پیرۆزتان هەڵدەکێشێت.“ |
34 and I have seen, and have testified, that this is the Son of God.”
| خۆم بینیم و شایەتیم دا کە ئەمە کوڕی خودایە.» |
35 On the next day, again, John was standing, and two of his disciples,
| بۆ بەیانی دیسان یەحیا لەگەڵ دوو قوتابی خۆی ڕاوەستا بوو. |
36 and having looked on Jesus walking, he says, “Behold, the Lamb of God”;
| کاتێک عیسای لە کاتی ڕۆیشتندا بینی، گوتی: «ئەوەتا بەرخی خودا!» |
37 and the two disciples heard him speaking, and they followed Jesus.
| کاتێک دوو قوتابییەکە گوێیان لەوە بوو، دوای عیسا کەوتن. |
38 And Jesus having turned, and having beheld them following, says to them, “What do you seek?” And they said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is, being interpreted, Teacher), “where do You remain?”
| عیسا ئاوڕی دایەوە و بینی بەدوایدا دێن، لێی پرسین: «چیتان دەوێت؟» پێیان گوت: «ڕابی، لەکوێ دەمێنیتەوە؟» ڕابی واتە مامۆستا. |
39 He says to them, “Come and see”; they came and saw where He remains, and they remained with Him that day and the hour was about the tenth.
| پێی فەرموون: «وەرن، تەماشا بکەن.» لەبەر ئەوە ئەوانیش ڕۆیشتن و بینییان لەکوێ دەمایەوە، ئەو ڕۆژەش لەگەڵی مانەوە، نزیکەی کاتژمێر چواری پاش نیوەڕۆ بوو. |
40 Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, was one of the two who heard from John, and followed Him;
| ئەندراوسی برای شیمۆن پەترۆس، یەکێک بوو لەو دووانەی کە گوێیان لە یەحیا بوو و دوای عیسا کەوتن. |
41 this one first finds his own brother Simon and says to him, “We have found the Messiah,” (which is, being interpreted, Anointed One),
| یەکەم جار ئەندراوس چوو شیمۆنی برای دۆزییەوە و پێی گوت: «مەسیحمان دۆزییەوە.» واتە دەستنیشانکراو. |
42 and he brought him to Jesus: and having looked on him, Jesus says, “You are Simon, the son of Jonas, you will be called Cephas,” (which is interpreted, A rock).
| ئینجا شیمۆنی هێنایە لای عیسا. عیساش تەماشای کرد و فەرمووی: «تۆ شیمۆنی کوڕی یۆنای، بەڵام بە کێفاس ناو دەبردرێیت.» کێفاس واتە پەترۆس. |
43 On the next day He willed to go forth to Galilee, and He finds Philip and says to him, “Follow Me.”
| بۆ بەیانی عیسا ویستی بچێتە جەلیل، فیلیپۆسی دۆزییەوە، پێی فەرموو: «دوام بکەوە.» |
44 And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and Peter;
| فیلیپۆس خەڵکی بێت‌سەیدا بوو، شارەکەی ئەندراوس و پەترۆس. |
45 Philip finds Nathanael and says to him, “Him of whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the Prophets, we have found, Jesus the Son of Joseph, who [is] from Nazareth!”
| فیلیپۆسیش ناتانئیلی دۆزییەوە، پێی گوت: «ئەوەی کە موسا لە تەورات و پێغەمبەرانیش لە پەڕتووکەکانیان لەسەریان نووسیوە دۆزیمانەوە، عیسای کوڕی یوسفی خەڵکی ناسیرەیە.» |
46 And Nathanael said to him, “Is any good thing able to be out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
| ناتانئیل پێی گوت: «ئایا لە ناسیرە شتی چاک هەڵدەکەوێ؟» فیلیپۆس پێی گوت: «وەرە و ببینە.» |
47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to Him, and He says concerning him, “Behold, truly an Israelite, in whom is no guile”;
| عیسا ناتانئیلی بینی بۆ لای دێت، دەربارەی فەرمووی: «ئەوەیە ئیسرائیلیی ڕەسەن، کە هیچ فێڵێکی تێدا نییە!» |
48 Nathanael says to Him, “From where do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip’s calling you, being under the fig tree, I saw you.”
| ناتانئیل پێی گوت: «چۆن دەمناسیت؟» عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «پێش ئەوەی فیلیپۆس بانگت بکات، تۆم لەژێر دار هەنجیرەکەدا بینی.» |
49 Nathanael answered and says to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God, You are the King of Israel.”
| ناتانئیل وەڵامی دایەوە: «ڕابی، تۆ کوڕی خودایت! پاشای ئیسرائیلیت!» |
50 Jesus answered and said to him, “Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, you believe; you will see greater things than these”;
| عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «باوەڕت هێنا، چونکە پێم گوتیت لەژێر دار هەنجیرەکە تۆم بینی؟ شتی گەورەتر دەبینیت!» |
51 and He says to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, from now on you will see Heaven opened, and the messengers of God going up and coming down on the Son of Man.”
| ئینجا پێی فەرموو: «ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم، دەبینن ئاسمان کراوەتەوە و فریشتەی خوداش لەسەر کوڕی مرۆڤ سەردەکەون و دادەبەزن.» |
