John 9
1 And passing by, He saw a man blind from birth,
୧ଦିନେକ୍ ଜିସୁ ଜିବାବେଲେ ଗଟେକ୍ ଜନ୍ମେଅନି କାଣା ରଇଲା ଲକ୍କେ ଦେକ୍ଲା ।
2 and His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this one or his parents, that he should be born blind?”
୨ଆରି ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଏ ଗୁରୁ କେ ପାପ୍ କଲାଇଜେ ଏ ଲକ୍ କାଣାଅଇ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲା? ସେ ନିଜେ କି ତାର୍ ବାବା ମାଆର୍ ପାପର୍ ଲାଗି?”
3 Jesus answered, “Neither this one sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God may be revealed in him;
୩ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ତାର୍ କି ତାର୍ ବାବା ମାଆର୍ କାଇ ପାପ୍ଦସ୍ ନାଇ । ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ବପୁ ତାର୍ଟାନେ ଜାନାପଡ୍ସି ବଲି, ସେ କାଣା ଅଇ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ।
4 it is necessary for Me to be working the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; night comes when no one is able to work:
୪ବେଲ୍ ରଇତେସେ ମକେ ପାଟାଇରଇବା ପର୍ମେସରର୍ କାମ୍ ଆମେ କର୍ବାର୍ ଆଚେ । ଏନ୍ତି ଆନ୍ଦାର୍ ଆଇଲାନି ସେ ବେଲାଇ କେ ମିସା କାଇ କାମ୍ କରି ନାପାରତ୍ ।
5 when I am in the world, I AM [the] light of the world.”
୫ମୁଇ ଜେତେ ଦିନ୍ ଜାକ ଏ ଦୁନିଆଇ ରଇବି ସେତ୍କି ଦିନ୍ ଜାକ ଏ ଦୁନିଆର୍ ଉଜଲ୍ ।”
6 Saying these things, He spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and rubbed the clay on the eyes of the blind man, and said to him,
୬ଜିସୁ ଏ କାତା କଇଲା ପଚେ, ମାଟିତେଇ ତୁକି ସେ ତୁକ୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଦ ଚକଟ୍ଲା । ଆରି ସେ କାଦ ନେଇକରି କାଣାର୍ ଦୁଇଟା ଆଁକିତେଇ ଲିପିଦେଲା ।
7 “Go away, wash at the pool of Siloam,” which is, interpreted, Sent. He went away, therefore, and washed, and came seeing;
୭ଆରି ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ ଜା ଆରି ସିଲଅ ନାଉଁର୍ ବନ୍ଦେ ଜାଇକରି ମୁ ଦଇ ଆଉ ।” ସିଲଅର୍ ଅରତ୍ ଅଇଲାନି ପାଟାଇଲାଟା । ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେ ଲକ୍ ବନ୍ଦେ ଜାଇକରି ମୁ ଦଇଲାଜେ, ଦେକିପାର୍ଲା ଆରି ଆଇଲା ।
8 the neighbors, therefore, and those seeing him before, that he was blind, said, “Is this not he who is sitting and begging?”
୮କେତେକ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଏ ଲକ୍କେ ଆଗ୍ତୁ ବିକ୍ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ବାଟା ଦେକି ରଇଲାଇ । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ଏ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆରି କାଣାର୍ ଗର୍ ଲଗର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକି କଇଲାଇ, “ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍କି ସବୁବେଲା ବସିକରି ବିକ୍ ମାଙ୍ଗ୍ତେ ରଇଲା ସେ କାଇ ଏ ଲକ୍ ନଏଁ କି?”
9 Others said, “This is he”; and others, “He is like to him”; he himself said, “I am [he].”
୯କେତେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଉଁ ଏତାଉ ସେ ଲକ୍ସେ ।” ମାତର୍ ଆରି ଅଦେକ୍ ଲକ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ନାଇ ଏ ସେ ଲକ୍ ନଏଁ ମାତର୍ ତାର୍ ପାରା ଡିସ୍ଲାନି ।” ମାତର୍ କାଣା କଇଲା, “ମୁଇସେ ଆଗ୍ତୁ କାଣା ଅଇରଇଲି ।”
10 They said, therefore, to him, “How were your eyes opened?”
୧୦ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ତୁଇ କେନ୍ତି ଦେକିପାର୍ଲୁସ୍ନି?”
11 He answered and said, “A man called Jesus made clay, and rubbed my eyes, and said to me, Go away to the pool of Siloam, and wash; and having gone away and having washed, I received sight”;
୧୧କାଣା ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଜିସୁ ବଲି କଇଲାଇନି, ସେ କାଦ କରି ମର୍ ଆଁକିତେଇ ଲିପିଦେଲା । ତାର୍ପଚେ ସେ ମକେ ‘ସିଲଅ ନାଉଁର୍ ବନ୍ଦେ ଜାଇକରି ଦ’ ବଲି କଇଲା । ପଚେ ମୁଇ ଜାଇକରି ବନ୍ଦେ ମୁ ଦଇଲା ଦାପ୍ରେ ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲି ।”
12 they said, therefore, to him, “Where is that One?” He says, “I have not known.”
୧୨ଆରି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ କଇଲାଇ, “ସେ କନ୍ତି ଆଚେ?” ସେ “ମୁଇ ନାଜାନି” ବଲି କଇଲା ।
13 They bring him who once [was] blind to the Pharisees,
୧୩ତାର୍ ପଚେ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଆଗେଅନି କାଣା ଅଇରଇଲା ଲକ୍କେ ପାରୁସିମନର୍ ଲଗେ ଡାକିନେଲାଇ ।
14 and it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
୧୪ଜିସୁ ଜନ୍ ଦିନେ କାଦ ଲିପିକରି ତାର୍ ଆଁକି ନିକ କରିରଇଲା, ସେ ଦିନ୍ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ବାର୍ ରଇଲା ।
15 Again, therefore, the Pharisees also were asking him how he received sight, and he said to them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed—and I see.”
୧୫ପାରୁସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ତାକେ ଆରିତରେକ୍ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ତୁଇ କେନ୍ତାର୍ ଦେକିପାର୍ଲୁସ୍ନି?” ତେଇ ସେ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଜିସୁ ମର୍ ଆଁକିଟାନେ କାଦ ଲାଗାଇଦେଲା । ପଚେ ମୁଇ ମୁ ଦଇ ଆଇଲି ଆରି ଏବେ ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲିନି ।”
16 Certain of the Pharisees therefore said, “This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath”; others said, “How is a man—a sinful one—able to do such signs?” And there was a division among them.
୧୬କେତେଟା ପାରୁସିମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଏ ଲକ୍ ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ତେଇଅନି ଆସେ ନାଇ । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇଁ ସେ ବିସ୍ରାମ୍ ଦିନର୍ ନିୟମ୍ ମାନେନାଇ ।” ଆରି ଅଦେକ୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ଗଟେକ୍ ପାପି ଲକ୍ କେବେ ମିସା ଏନ୍ତି କାବାଅଇଜିବା କାମ୍ କରିନାପାରେ ।” ଏନ୍ତି ଜିଉଦି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଦୁଇ ବାଗ୍ ଅଇଗାଲାଇ ।
17 They said to the blind man again, “You—what do you say of Him—that He opened your eyes?”
୧୭ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ ସେମନ୍ ସେ ଲକ୍କେ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ତକେ ଜିସୁ ନିମାନ୍ କଲାଜେ ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲୁସ୍ନି । ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ତୁଇ ତାକେ କେ ବଲି ବାବ୍ଲୁସ୍ନି?” ସେ ଲକ୍ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ସେ ଗଟେକ୍ ବବିସତ୍ବକ୍ତା ।”
18 And he said, “He is a prophet.” The Jews, therefore, did not believe concerning him that he was blind and received sight, until they called the parents of him who received sight,
୧୮ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ସେ ନିମାନ୍ ଅଇଲା ଲକ୍ ଆଗ୍ତୁ କାଣା ରଇଲା ଜେ ଏବେ ସେ ଦେକିପାର୍ବା ବିସଇ ମୁଲ୍କେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରତ୍ନାଇ । ପାରୁସିମନ୍ ସେ ଲକର୍ ମାଆ ବାବାକେ ନ ଡାକ୍ବା ଜାକ ମୁଲ୍କେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କରତ୍ନାଇ ।
19 and they asked them, saying, “Is [this] your son, of whom you say that he was born blind? How then does he now see?”
୧୯ସେମନ୍ ତାର୍ ମାଆ ବାବାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଏଟା ତମର୍ ପିଲା କି? ସେ ଜନ୍ମେ ଅନି କାଣାଟା ବଲି ତମେ କଇଲାସ୍ନି, ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ସେ କେନ୍ତି ଦେକିପାର୍ଲାନି?”
20 His parents answered them and said, “We have known that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
୨୦ତାର୍ ମାଆ ବାବା କଇଲାଇ, “ଉଁ ଏଟା ଆମର୍ ପିଲା । ସେ ଜନ୍ମେଅନି କାଣା ରଇଲା ବଲି ଆମେ ଜାନି ଆଚୁ ।
21 and how he now sees, we have not known; or who opened his eyes, we have not known; he is of age, ask him; he himself will speak concerning himself.”
୨୧ମାତର୍ ଏବେ ସେ କେନ୍ତି ଦେକିପାର୍ଲାନି ଆରି କେ ତାକେ ନିମାନ୍ କଲା ସେଟା ଆମେ ନାଜାନୁ । ସେ ଏବେ ବଡ୍ ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ ତାକେ ପାଚାରା ସେ ନିଜେ କଇସି ।”
22 His parents said these things, because they were afraid of the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed together, that if anyone may confess Him—Christ, he may be put out of the synagogue;
୨୨ତାର୍ ମାଆ ବାବା ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍କେ ଡରି ଏନ୍ତି ବଲି କଇଦେଲାଇ । କାଇକେ ବଇଲେ ଜିସୁକେ ଜଦି ମସିଅ ବଲି କଇସି ବଇଲେ ତାକେ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଉପାସନା କର୍ବା ଗର୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଜିବାକେ ନ ଦେଅତ୍ ବଲି ଆଗ୍ତୁସେ କଇରଇଲାଇ ।
23 because of this his parents said, “He is of age, ask him.”
୨୩ସେଟାର୍ପାଇ ସେ ମାଆ ବାବା କଇଲାଇ, “ସେ ତ ବଡ୍ ଅଇଲା ଆଚେ, ତାକେ ପାଚାରା ।”
24 They called, therefore, the man who was blind a second time, and they said to him, “Give glory to God, we have known that this Man is a sinner”;
୨୪ସେମନ୍ ସେ ଲକ୍କେ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ ବିତ୍ରେ ଡାକି କରି ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ରାନ୍ ପାକାଇ କ । ଜିସୁ ଗଟେକ୍ ପାପି ଲକ୍ ବଲି ଆମେ ଜାନୁ ।”
25 he answered, therefore, and said, “If He is a sinner—I have not known, one thing I have known, that, being blind, now I see.”
୨୫ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେମନ୍କେ ସେ କଇଲା, “ସେ ପାପି ଲକ୍କି ନଏଁ ସେଟା ମୁଇ ଜାନି ନାଇ । ମାତର୍ ମୁଇ ଗଟେକ୍ ବିସଇ ଜାନି ଆଚି ସେଟା ଅଇଲାନି, ମୁଇ ଆଗ୍ତୁ କାଣା ରଇଲି, ଏବେ ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲିନି ।”
26 And they said to him again, “What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?”
୨୬ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ସେ ତକେ କାଇଟା କଲା? କେନ୍ତି ତର୍ ଆଁକି ପିଟାଇଦେଲା?”
27 He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not hear; why do you wish to hear [it] again? Do you also wish to become His disciples?”
୨୭ସେ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଆଗ୍ତୁସେ କଇ ସାରାଇଆଚି, ମାତର୍ ତମେ ମାନ୍ବାକେ ମନ୍ କରାସ୍ ନାଇ । ଏବେ ଆରି ତରେକ୍ କାଇକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାସ୍ନି? ତମେ ମିସା କାଇ ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ ଅଇବାକେ ମନ୍କଲାସ୍ନି କି?”
28 They reviled him, therefore, and said, “You are His disciple, and we are Moses’ disciples;
୨୮ସେମନ୍ ସାଇପ୍ ଦେଇ କଇଲାଇ, “ତୁଇ କାଇ ତାର୍ ସିସ୍ ଅଇସୁ, ଆମେ ନଉଁ, ଆମେ ମସାର୍ ସିସ୍ମନ୍ ।
29 we have known that God has spoken to Moses, but this One—we have not known where He is from.”
୨୯ପର୍ମେସର୍ ମସାର୍ତେଇ କାତା ଅଇରଇଲାଟା ଆମେ ଜାନିଆଚୁ, ମାତର୍ ଏ ଲକ୍ କନ୍ତିଅନି ଆଇଲାଆଚେ, ସେଟା ନାଜାନୁ ।”
30 The man answered and said to them, “Why, in this is a wonderful thing, that you have not known where He is from, and He opened my eyes!
୩୦ତାର୍ ପଚେ ସେ ଲକ୍ ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ଏଟା ଗଟେକ୍ ବେସି ବଡ୍ କାବାଅଇଜିବା ବିସଇ । ସେ ଲକ୍ ମର୍ ଆଁକି ନିମାନ୍ କଲାଆଚେ, ମାତର୍ ସେ କନ୍ତିଅନି ଆଇଲା ଆଚେ, ସେଟା ତମେ ନାଜାନୁ ବଲି କଇଲାସ୍ନି ।”
31 And we have known that God does not hear sinners, but if anyone may be a worshiper of God, and may do His will, He hears him;
୩୧ପାପି ଲକ୍ମନର୍ ପାର୍ତନା ପର୍ମେସର୍ ନ ସୁନେ ବଲି ସବୁ ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଜାନିଆଚତ୍ । ମାତର୍ ଜନ୍ ଲକ୍ ପର୍ମେସର୍କେ ଜୁଆର୍ କରି ସେ ମନ୍କଲା ଇସାବେ ଚଲାଚଲ୍ତି କଲାନି, ସେ ତାର୍ କାତା ସୁନ୍ସି ।
32 from the age it was not heard that anyone opened eyes of one who has been born blind; (aiōn g165)
୩୨ଦୁନିଆ ଆରାମେଅନି, ଜନ୍ମେ ଅନି କାଣା ରଇଲା ଗଟେକ୍ ଲକ୍କେ ଆଁକି ଡିସାଇବାଟା ଏବେ ଜାକ ମିସା ନ ସୁନିରଇଲାଇ । (aiōn g165)
33 if this One were not from God, He were not able to do anything.”
୩୩ଏ ଲକ୍ ଜଦି ପର୍ମେସରର୍ ଟାନେଅନି ଆସି ନ ରଇଲେ, କେବେ ମିସା ଏ କାମ୍ କରିନାପାର୍ତା ।
34 They answered and said to him, “In sins you were born altogether, and you teach us?” And they cast him forth outside.
୩୪ସେବେଲା ଜିଉଦି ନେତାମନ୍ କଇଲାଇ, “ତୁଇ ପାପେ ଜନମ୍ ଅଇକରି ପୁରାପୁରୁନ୍ ପାପେ ବୁଡି ଆଚୁସ୍ । ତେଇଅନି ତୁଇ ବାଅଡ୍ । ଆମ୍କେ ସିକାଇଲୁସ୍ନି?” ଏନ୍ତି କଇକରି ସେମନ୍ ତାକେ ଜିଉଦିମନର୍ ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେଅନି ବାର୍କରାଇଦେଲାଇ ।
35 Jesus heard that they cast him forth outside, and having found him, He said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
୩୫ଜିସୁ ସେ ଲକ୍କେ ପାର୍ତନା ଗରେ ଅନି ବାର୍ କରାଇ ଦେଲାଟା ସୁନି ଆରିତରେକ୍ ତାକେ ଦେକାଇଅଇ, ପାଚାର୍ଲା, “ତୁଇ ପର୍ମେସର୍ ତେଇଅନି ଆଇଲା ନର୍ପିଲାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲୁସ୍ନି କି?”
36 He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?”
୩୬ସେ କାଣା ଲକ୍ କଇଲା, “ଏ ଆଗିଆଁ ସେ ଲକ୍ କେ? ମୁଇ ତାକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କର୍ବି ।”
37 And Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and He who is speaking with you is He”;
୩୭ଜିସୁ ତାକେ କଇଲା, “ତୁଇ ତାକେ ଦେକିଆଚୁସ୍, ଆରି ଏବେ ଜନ୍ ଲକର୍ ସଙ୍ଗ୍ କାତା ଅଇଲୁସ୍ନି, ସେ ଆକା ସେ ଲକ୍।”
38 and he said, “I believe, Lord,” and worshiped Him.
୩୮ସେବେଲାଇ ସେ କଇଲା, “ମାପ୍ରୁ ମୁଇ ତକେ ବିସ୍ବାସ୍ କଲିନି ।” ଆରି ଜିସୁର୍ ମୁଆଟେ ମାଣ୍ଡିକୁଟା ଦେଇ ଜୁଆର୍ କଲା ।
39 And Jesus said, “I came to this world for judgment, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.”
୩୯ଜିସୁ କଇଲା, “ମୁଇ ଏ ଦୁନିଆର୍ ଲକ୍ମନ୍କେ ବିଚାର୍ କର୍ବାର୍ ଆସିଆଚି । ସେଟାର୍ ପାଇ କାଣା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ଦେକିପାର୍ବାଇ, ଆରି ଦେକିପାର୍ବା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ କାଣା ଅଇଜିବାଇ ।”
40 And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and they said to Him, “Are we also blind?”
୪୦ଜିସୁ ଏନ୍ତି କଇବା କାତା, ଲଗେ ରଇଲା କେତେଟା ପାରୁସି ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ସୁନିକରି ତାକେ ପାଚାର୍ଲାଇ, “ଏନ୍ତି ବଇଲେ ଆମ୍କେ କାଇ କାଣା ଲକ୍ମନ୍ ବଲି ବାବ୍ଲୁସ୍ନି କି?”
41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you were not having had sin, but now you say—We see, therefore your sin remains.”
୪୧ଜିସୁ ସେମନ୍କେ କଇଲା, “ତମେ କାଣା ଅଇରଇତାସ୍ ଆଲେ ଦସି ନ ଅଇତାସ୍ । ମାତର୍ ଦେକି ପାର୍ଲୁନି ବଲି କଇଲାସ୍ନିଜେ ଅଦିକ୍ ଦସି ।”
