< John 8 >

1 And at dawn He came again to the temple [courts],
Jesu den gedi olifie tiidi juali po.
2 and all the people were coming to Him, and having sat down, He was teaching them;
3 and the scribes and the Pharisees bring to Him a woman having been taken in adultery, and having set her in the midst,
Li balimaama bangikaaba leni falisieninba den cuani o kani ban cuo yaa pua ke o conbi.
4 they say to Him, “Teacher, this woman was taken in the very crime [of] committing adultery,
5 and in the Law, Moses commanded us that such be stoned; You, therefore, what do You say?”
Musa den bili tipo li balimaama nni ke bi yaa pigini yua ke o tiendi mi conconma tin lugidi o, a tana amo yedi lede?
6 And this they said, trying Him, that they might have to accuse Him. And Jesus, having stooped down, with the finger He was writing on the ground,
7 and when they continued asking Him, having bent Himself back, He said to them, “The sinless of you—let him cast the first stone at her”;
8 and again having stooped down, He was writing on the ground,
O go den guani ki tibini o yuli ki dangi tiipo.
9 and they having heard, and being convicted by the conscience, were going forth one by one, having begun from the elders—to the last; and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
10 And Jesus having bent Himself back, and having seen no one but the woman, said to her, “Woman, where are those—your accusers? Did no one pass sentence on you?”
Jesu go den yaadi ki nuali waa sua oba kali o pua yeni bebe, o den yedi o: O pua ne yaaba n bi kuliti a ye le? O bakuli ki fidi ki jia a buudi?
11 And she said, “No one, Lord”; and Jesus said to her, “Neither do I pass sentence on you; be going on, and sin no more.”]]
O den yedi o: Canba, o bakuli. Jesu den yedi o: N moko nan kan jia a buudi, ama kuni, de saala han da go tieni tuonbiadi.
12 Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I AM the light of the world; he who is following Me will not walk in the darkness, but he will have the light of life.”
Jesu go den maadi leni ba ki yedi: Mini tie handuna yenma yua n huani kuli kan go cuoni li biigili nni, ama obaa pia li miali ya yenma oniinni.
13 The Pharisees, therefore, said to Him, “You testify of Yourself, Your testimony is not true”;
14 Jesus answered and said to them, “And if I testify of Myself—My testimony is true, because I have known from where I came, and to where I go, and you have not known from where I come, or to where I go.
Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: Baa ke n tiendi n yuli po siedi n siedi tie moamoani, kelima n bani min ñani naani, n go bani min caa naani, ama yinba yii bani min ñani naani, yii go bani min caa naani mo.
15 You judge according to the flesh; I do not judge anyone,
Yi ja ti buudi leni li nisaali yantiale, ama mini mii ja o ba buudi.
16 and even if I do judge My judgment is true, because I am not alone, but I and the Father who sent Me;
N ya jia ti buudi mo n bujiali tie moamoani, mii ye n bebe, ama Baa yua n soani ye leni nni.
17 and also in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true;
Li diani yi balimaama nni ke nibalie siedo tie moamoani.
18 I am [One] who is testifying of Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies of Me.”
N tiendi n yuli po siedi, Baa yua n soani moko tiendi n po siedi.
19 They said, therefore, to Him, “Where is Your father?” Jesus answered, “You have neither known Me nor My Father: if you had known Me, you had also known My Father.”
Bi den yedi o: A baa ye le: Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: Yii bani nni, yii bani n Baa mo. Yi ya bi bani nni, yi baa bani Baa moko.
20 Jesus spoke these sayings in the treasury, teaching in the temple, and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come;
Jesu den maadi laa maama U Tienu diegu nni. Wan den bangi niba yaa yogunu, ki kuu leni ban biliti U Tienu diegu bon piakaala naankani. O bakuli ki den cuo o, kelima o yogunu daa den pundi.
21 therefore Jesus said again to them, “I go away, and you will seek Me, and you will die in your sin; to where I go away, you are not able to come.”
Jesu den yedi ba: N baa gedi. Yi baa lingi nni, ama yi baa kpe yi tuonbiadi nni, yi kan fidi ki cua min caa naanpo.
22 The Jews, therefore, said, “Will He kill Himself, because He says, To where I go away, you are not able to come?”
Lanyaapo Jufinba den tua o nan baa kpa o yuli bii? Kelima o yedi yi kan fidi ki cua min caa naanpo.
23 And He said to them, “You are from beneath, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world;
O den yedi ba: Yi tie ki tinga nni yaabe, n mo tie tanpoli yua, yi tie handuna yaaba, n mo mii tie handuna yua.
24 I said, therefore, to you, that you will die in your sins, for if you may not believe that I AM, you will die in your sins.”
Lanyaapo n teni ke n yedi: Yi baa kpe yi tuonbiadi nni. Kelima yi yaa daani ke “N YE” yi baa kpe yi tuonbiadi nni.
25 They said, therefore, to Him, “You—who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Even what I spoke of to you at the beginning;
Bi den yedi o: A tema ke a tie ŋme? Jesu den yedi ba: Hali mi cilima min den kpa waani yi ke n tie yua yeni.
26 many things I have to speak concerning you and to judge, but He who sent Me is true, and I—what things I heard from Him—these I say to the world.”
N pia li bonla boncianla ki baa maadi leni yi, ki go jia yi ti buudi lipo. Ama yua n soani nni tie moamoandaano, min maadi yaa maama handuna nni moala ne tie min den gbadi yaama okani.
27 They did not know that He spoke to them of the Father;
Baa den bani ke o maadi ba Baa yaa maame.
28 Jesus, therefore, said to them, “When you may lift up the Son of Man then you will know that I AM; and I do nothing of Myself, but according as My Father taught Me, these things I speak;
Lanyaapo Jesu den yedi ba: Yi ya yugidi o Joa Bijua yaa yogunu, yi baa bandi ke n ye, ke mii tiendi li bakuli kelima n yuceli po, ama ke n maadi Baa n den bangi nni yaala bebe.
29 and He who sent Me is with Me; the Father did not leave Me alone, because I always do the things pleasing to Him.”
Wan yua n soani nni yeni ye leni nni, waa ha nni n bebe. Kelima yogunu kuli n tiendi yaala mani opo.
30 As He is speaking these things, many believed in Him;
31 Jesus, therefore, said to the Jews who believed in Him, “If you may remain in My word, you are truly My disciples,
Jesu den yedi yaa Jufinba n daani yeni: Yi ya kubi n maama yi tie n huadikaaba moamoani.
32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
Yi baa bandi yi moamoani, yi moamoani yeni mo baa faabi yi.
33 They answered Him, “We are seed of Abraham; and we have been servants to no one at any time; how do You say—You will become free?”
Be yaa yaapo yo ke a yedi ti baa faabi.
34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who is committing sin, is a servant of sin,
35 and the servant does not remain in the house—throughout the age, the Son remains—throughout the age; (aiōn g165)
O yonbo n ye yaa diegu nni ka tie wan baa ye naani yogunu kuli, ama yua n tie laa diegu biga baa ye lienni hali yaa yogunu kuli. (aiōn g165)
36 if then the Son may make you free, in reality you will be free.
Lanyaapo Bijua ya lodi yi, yi baa tua yaaba n diedi yi yula cain.
37 I have known that you are seed of Abraham, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you;
38 I speak that which I have seen with My Father, and you, therefore, do that which you have seen with your father.”
N wangi yi min laa yaala n Baa kani, yi mo tiendi yin gbadi yaala yi mo yaa baa kani.
39 They answered and said to Him, “Our father is Abraham”; Jesus says to them, “If you were children of Abraham, the works of Abraham you were doing;
Bi den yedi o: Abalahanma n tie ti baa, Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: Abalahanma n ya tie yi ba, yi bi baa yaa tuuni wan den tuuni yaa tuona yo.
40 and now, you seek to kill Me—a Man who has spoken to you the truth I heard from God; Abraham did not do this;
Moala yi lingi ki bua ki kpa nni, mini yua n wangi yi min den gbadi yaa moamoani U Tienu kani, Abalahanma ki maani ki tieni laa bonla.
41 you do the works of your father.” They said, therefore, to Him, “We have not been born of whoredom; we have one Father—God”;
Yi tuuni yi baa tuonli. Bi den yedi o: Tii tie kpiaba ka, ti pia baa yendo lani tie U Tienu.
42 Jesus then said to them, “If God were your father, you were loving Me, for I came forth from God, and am come; for neither have I come of Myself, but He sent Me;
Jesu den yedi ba: U Tienu n ya tie yi baa, yi bi baa bua nni, kelima n ñani U Tienu kane ki cua, mii cua n yuceli po ka, wani soani nni.
43 why do you not know My speech? Because you are not able to hear My word.
Be n teni ke yii gaani n maama n bua ki yedi yaala, li tie kelima yi kan fidi ki cengi n maame.
44 You are of a father—the Devil, and the desires of your father you will to do; he was a manslayer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, he speaks of his own, because he is a liar—also his father.
45 And because I say the truth, you do not believe Me.
Li tie kelima n wangi yi imoamoani po yo, ke yii daani n maama.
46 Who of you convicts Me of sin? And if I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
Yi siiga ŋme baa fidi ki tieni siedi ke n tieni tuonbiadi? Li ya tie ke n maadi moamoani be yaapo yo ke yii bua ki daani n maama?
47 He who is of God, he hears the sayings of God; because of this you do not hear, because you are not of God.”
Yua n tie U Tienu yua kuli baa bua ki cengi U Tienu maama, yii cengi n maama kelima yii tie U Tienu yaaba.
48 The Jews, therefore, answered and said to Him, “Do we not say well, that You are a Samaritan, and have a demon?”
Jufinba den guani yedi o: Tii pia moamoani ka ki yedi ke a tie sutaani yua, ki go pia ki cicibiadiga?
49 Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me;
Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: Mii pia cicibiadiga, ama n kpiagidi n Baa yo, ke yi mo yie ke yi kan kpiagi nni.
50 and I do not seek My own glory; there is [One] who is seeking and is judging;
Mii lingi kpiagidi n yuli po, ama yendo ye yua n lingi npo ti kpiagidi, ki go ja ti buudi.
51 truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may keep My word, he may not see death—throughout the age.” (aiōn g165)
N yedi yi moamoani, yi moamoani kani yua n kubi n maama o kan kpe hali abada. (aiōn g165)
52 The Jews, therefore, said to Him, “Now we have known that You have a demon; Abraham died, and the prophets, and You say, If anyone may keep My word, he will not taste of death—throughout the age! (aiōn g165)
Jufinba den yedi o: Moala wani ti bandi cain ke a pia ki cicibiadiga, Abalahanma kpe, bi sawalipuaba kpe a mo yedi: ke yua n kubi a maama kan kpe hali abada. (aiōn g165)
53 Are You greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died; whom do You make Yourself?”
A cie ti yaa ja Abalahanma yua n kpe yo? Bi sawalipuaba moko kpe! Atema ke a tie ŋme yo?
54 Jesus answered, “If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing; it is My Father who is glorifying Me, of whom you say that He is your God;
Jesu den guani ki yedi ba: N ya kpiagidi n yuli, n kpiagdi tie fanma fanma. Ama n Baa n kpiagidi nni, yin tua yua yi Tienu yeni.
55 and you have not known Him, and I have known Him, and if I say that I have not known Him, I will be like you—speaking falsely; but I have known Him, and I keep His word;
Yii bani o, ama min wani bani o, n ya yedi: Mii bani o, n baa tua faadaano nani yinba yeni, ama n bani o, n ku bi o maama.
56 your father Abraham was glad that he might see My day; and he saw, and rejoiced.”
Yi baa, Abalahanma den mangi o pali boncianla, ke o baa le n daali, o den laa li, ke li mangi o.
57 The Jews, therefore, said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and You have seen Abraham?”
Lanyaapo Jufinba den yedi o: Fini yua n ki pundi baa bina piimu n laa Abalahanma?
58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham’s coming—I AM”;
Jesu den yedi ba: Yi moamoani, yi moamoani kani hali ke Abalahanma daa ye, li sua ke mini wani n ye yo!
59 they took up, therefore, stones that they may cast at Him, but Jesus hid Himself, and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
