John 7
1 And Jesus was walking after these things in Galilee, for He did not wish to walk in Judea, because the Jews were seeking to kill Him,
ตต: ปรํ ยิหูทียโลกาสฺตํ หนฺตุํ สไมหนฺต ตสฺมาทฺ ยีศุ รฺยิหูทาปฺรเทเศ ปรฺยฺยฏิตุํ เนจฺฉนฺ คาลีลฺ ปฺรเทเศ ปรฺยฺยฏิตุํ ปฺรารภตฯ
2 and the celebration of the Jews was near—that of Shelters—
กินฺตุ ตสฺมินฺ สมเย ยิหูทียานำ ทูษฺยวาสนาโมตฺสว อุปสฺถิเต
3 His brothers, therefore, said to Him, “Depart from here, and go away to Judea, that Your disciples may also behold Your works that You do;
ตสฺย ภฺราตรสฺตมฺ อวทนฺ ยานิ กรฺมฺมาณิ ตฺวยา กฺริยนฺเต ตานิ ยถา ตว ศิษฺยา: ปศฺยนฺติ ตทรฺถํ ตฺวมิต: สฺถานาทฺ ยิหูทียเทศํ วฺรชฯ
4 for no one does anything in secret, and himself seeks to be in public; if you do these things—reveal Yourself to the world”;
ย: กศฺจิตฺ สฺวยํ ปฺรจิกาศิษติ ส กทาปิ คุปฺตํ กรฺมฺม น กโรติ ยทีทฺฤศํ กรฺมฺม กโรษิ ตรฺหิ ชคติ นิชํ ปริจายยฯ
5 for not even His brothers were believing in Him.
ยตสฺตสฺย ภฺราตโรปิ ตํ น วิศฺวสนฺติฯ
6 Jesus, therefore, says to them, “My time is not yet present, but your time is always ready;
ตทา ยีศุสฺตานฺ อโวจตฺ มม สมย อิทานีํ โนปติษฺฐติ กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากํ สมย: สตตมฺ อุปติษฺฐติฯ
7 the world is not able to hate you, but it hates Me, because I testify concerning it that its works are evil.
ชคโต โลกา ยุษฺมานฺ ฤตียิตุํ น ศกฺรุวนฺติ กินฺตุ มาเมว ฤตียนฺเต ยตเสฺตษำ กรฺมาณิ ทุษฺฏานิ ตตฺร สากฺษฺยมิทมฺ อหํ ททามิฯ
8 You—go up to this celebration; I do not yet go up to this celebration, because My time has not yet been fulfilled”;
อเตอว ยูยมฺ อุตฺสเว'สฺมินฺ ยาต นาหมฺ อิทานีมฺ อสฺมินฺนุตฺสเว ยามิ ยโต มม สมย อิทานีํ น สมฺปูรฺณ: ฯ
9 and saying these things to them, He remained in Galilee.
อิติ วากฺยมฺ อุกฺตฺตฺวา ส คาลีลิ สฺถิตวานฺ
10 And when His brothers went up, then also He Himself went up to the celebration, not openly, but as in secret;
กินฺตุ ตสฺย ภฺราตฺฤษุ ตตฺร ปฺรสฺถิเตษุ สตฺสุ โส'ปฺรกฏ อุตฺสวมฺ อคจฺฉตฺฯ
11 the Jews, therefore, were seeking Him in the celebration, and said, “Where is that One?”
อนนฺตรมฺ อุตฺสวมฺ อุปสฺถิตา ยิหูทียาสฺตํ มฺฤคยิตฺวาปฺฤจฺฉนฺ ส กุตฺร?
12 And there was much murmuring about Him among the multitudes, some indeed said, “He is good”; and others said, “No, but He leads the multitude astray”;
ตโต โลกานำ มเธฺย ตสฺมินฺ นานาวิธา วิวาทา ภวิตุมฺ อารพฺธวนฺต: ฯ เกจิทฺ อโวจนฺ ส อุตฺตม: ปุรุษ: เกจิทฺ อโวจนฺ น ตถา วรํ โลกานำ ภฺรมํ ชนยติฯ
13 no one, however, was speaking freely about Him, through fear of the Jews.
กินฺตุ ยิหูทียานำ ภยาตฺ โกปิ ตสฺย ปกฺเษ สฺปษฺฏํ นากถยตฺฯ
14 And it being now the middle of the celebration, Jesus went up to the temple, and He was teaching,
ตต: ปรมฺ อุตฺสวสฺย มธฺยสมเย ยีศุ รฺมนฺทิรํ คตฺวา สมุปทิศติ สฺมฯ
15 and the Jews were wondering, saying, “How has this One known letters—having not learned?”
ตโต ยิหูทียา โลกา อาศฺจรฺยฺยํ ชฺญาตฺวากถยนฺ เอษา มานุโษ นาธีตฺยา กถมฺ เอตาทฺฤโศ วิทฺวานภูตฺ?
16 Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me;
ตทา ยีศุ: ปฺรตฺยโวจทฺ อุปเทโศยํ น มม กินฺตุ โย มำ เปฺรษิตวานฺ ตสฺยฯ
17 if anyone may will to do His will, he will know concerning the teaching, whether it is of God, or—[if] I speak from Myself.
โย ชโน นิเทศํ ตสฺย คฺรหีษฺยติ มโมปเทโศ มตฺโต ภวติ กิมฺ อีศฺวราทฺ ภวติ ส คนสฺตชฺชฺญาตุํ ศกฺษฺยติฯ
18 He who is speaking from himself seeks his own glory, but he who is seeking the glory of him who sent him, this one is true, and unrighteousness is not in him;
โย ชน: สฺวต: กถยติ ส สฺวียํ เคารวมฺ อีหเต กินฺตุ ย: เปฺรรยิตุ เรฺคารวมฺ อีหเต ส สตฺยวาที ตสฺมินฺ โกปฺยธรฺมฺโม นาสฺติฯ
19 has not Moses given you the Law? And none of you does the Law; why do you seek to kill Me?”
มูสา ยุษฺมภฺยํ วฺยวสฺถาคฺรนฺถํ กึ นาททาตฺ? กินฺตุ ยุษฺมากํ โกปิ ตำ วฺยวสฺถำ น สมาจรติฯ มำ หนฺตุํ กุโต ยตเธฺว?
20 The multitude answered and said, “You have a demon, who seeks to kill You?”
ตทา โลกา อวทนฺ ตฺวํ ภูตคฺรสฺตสฺตฺวำ หนฺตุํ โก ยตเต?
21 Jesus answered and said to them, “I did one work, and you all wonder,
ตโต ยีศุรโวจทฺ เอกํ กรฺมฺม มยาการิ ตสฺมาทฺ ยูยํ สรฺวฺว มหาศฺจรฺยฺยํ มนฺยเธฺวฯ
22 because of this, Moses has given you the circumcision—not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers—and on a Sabbath you circumcise a man;
มูสา ยุษฺมภฺยํ ตฺวกฺเฉทวิธึ ปฺรทเทา ส มูสาโต น ชาต: กินฺตุ ปิตฺฤปุรุเษโภฺย ชาต: เตน วิศฺรามวาเร'ปิ มานุษาณำ ตฺวกฺเฉทํ กุรุถฯ
23 if a man receives circumcision on a Sabbath that the Law of Moses may not be broken, are you angry with Me that I made a man all whole on a Sabbath?
อเตอว วิศฺรามวาเร มนุษฺยาณำ ตฺวกฺเฉเท กฺฤเต ยทิ มูสาวฺยวสฺถามงฺคนํ น ภวติ ตรฺหิ มยา วิศฺรามวาเร มานุษ: สมฺปูรฺณรูเปณ สฺวโสฺถ'การิ ตตฺการณาทฺ ยูยํ กึ มหฺยํ กุปฺยถ?
24 Do not judge according to appearance, but the righteous judgment judge.”
สปกฺษปาตํ วิจารมกฺฤตฺวา นฺยายฺยํ วิจารํ กุรุตฯ
25 Certain, therefore, of the Jerusalemites said, “Is this not He whom they are seeking to kill?
ตทา ยิรูศาลมฺ นิวาสิน: กติปยชนา อกถยนฺ อิเม ยํ หนฺตุํ เจษฺฏนฺเต ส เอวายํ กึ น?
26 And behold, He speaks freely, and they say nothing to Him; did the rulers truly know that this is the Christ?
กินฺตุ ปศฺยต นิรฺภย: สนฺ กถำ กถยติ ตถาปิ กิมปิ อ วทนฺเตฺยเต อยเมวาภิษิกฺตฺโต ภวตีติ นิศฺจิตํ กิมธิปตโย ชานนฺติ?
27 But this One—we have known where He is from; and the Christ, when He comes, no one knows where He is from.”
มนุโชยํ กสฺมาทาคมทฺ อิติ วยํ ชาโนม: กินฺตฺวภิษิกฺตฺต อาคเต ส กสฺมาทาคตวานฺ อิติ โกปิ ชฺญาตุํ น ศกฺษฺยติฯ
28 Jesus cried, therefore, in the temple, teaching and saying, “You have both known Me, and you have known from where I am; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you have not known;
ตทา ยีศุ รฺมเธฺยมนฺทิรมฺ อุปทิศนฺ อุจฺไจ: การมฺ อุกฺตฺตวานฺ ยูยํ กึ มำ ชานีถ? กสฺมาจฺจาคโตสฺมิ ตทปิ กึ ชานีถ? นาหํ สฺวต อาคโตสฺมิ กินฺตุ ย: สตฺยวาที เสอว มำ เปฺรษิตวานฺ ยูยํ ตํ น ชานีถฯ
29 and I have known Him, because I am from Him, and He sent Me.”
ตมหํ ชาเน เตนาหํ เปฺรริต อคโตสฺมิฯ
30 They were seeking, therefore, to seize Him, and no one laid the hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come,
ตสฺมาทฺ ยิหูทียาสฺตํ ธรฺตฺตุมฺ อุทฺยตาสฺตถาปิ โกปิ ตสฺย คาเตฺร หสฺตํ นารฺปยทฺ ยโต เหโตสฺตทา ตสฺย สมโย โนปติษฺฐติฯ
31 and many out of the multitude believed in Him and said, “The Christ—when He may come—will He do more signs than these that this One did?”
กินฺตุ พหโว โลกาสฺตสฺมินฺ วิศฺวสฺย กถิตวานฺโต'ภิษิกฺตฺตปุรุษ อาคตฺย มานุษสฺยาสฺย กฺริยาภฺย: กิมฺ อธิกา อาศฺจรฺยฺยา: กฺริยา: กริษฺยติ?
32 The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers that they may take Him;
ตต: ปรํ โลกาสฺตสฺมินฺ อิตฺถํ วิวทนฺเต ผิรูศิน: ปฺรธานยาชกาญฺเจติ ศฺรุตวนฺตสฺตํ ธฺฤตฺวา เนตุํ ปทาติคณํ เปฺรษยามาสุ: ฯ
33 Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Yet a short time I am with you, and I go away to Him who sent Me;
ตโต ยีศุรวททฺ อหมฺ อลฺปทินานิ ยุษฺมาภิ: สารฺทฺธํ สฺถิตฺวา มตฺเปฺรรยิตุ: สมีปํ ยาสฺยามิฯ
34 you will seek Me, and you will not find; and where I am, you are not able to come.”
มำ มฺฤคยิษฺยเธฺว กินฺตูทฺเทศํ น ลปฺสฺยเธฺว รตฺร สฺถาสฺยามิ ตตฺร ยูยํ คนฺตุํ น ศกฺษฺยถฯ
35 The Jews, therefore, said among themselves, “To where is this One about to go that we will not find Him? Is He about to go to the dispersion of the Greeks, and to teach the Greeks?
ตทา ยิหูทียา: ปรสฺปรํ วกฺตฺตุมาเรภิเร อโสฺยทฺเทศํ น ปฺราปฺสฺยาม เอตาทฺฤศํ กึ สฺถานํ ยาสฺยติ? ภินฺนเทเศ วิกีรฺณานำ ยิหูทียานำ สนฺนิธิมฺ เอษ คตฺวา ตานฺ อุปเทกฺษฺยติ กึ?
36 What is this word that He said, You will seek Me, and you will not find? And, Where I am, you are not able to come?”
โน เจตฺ มำ คเวษยิษฺยถ กินฺตูทฺเทศํ น ปฺราปฺสฺยถ เอษ โกทฺฤศํ วากฺยมิทํ วทติ?
37 And in the last, the great day of the celebration, Jesus stood and cried, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink;
อนนฺตรมฺ อุตฺสวสฺย จรเม'หนิ อรฺถาตฺ ปฺรธานทิเน ยีศุรุตฺติษฺฐนฺ อุจฺไจ: การมฺ อาหฺวยนฺ อุทิตวานฺ ยทิ กศฺจิตฺ ตฺฤษารฺตฺโต ภวติ ตรฺหิ มมานฺติกมฺ อาคตฺย ปิวตุฯ
38 he who is believing in Me, according as the Writing said, Rivers of living water will flow out of his belly”;
ย: กศฺจินฺมยิ วิศฺวสิติ ธรฺมฺมคฺรนฺถสฺย วจนานุสาเรณ ตสฺยาภฺยนฺตรโต'มฺฤตโตยสฺย โสฺรตำสิ นิรฺคมิษฺยนฺติฯ
39 and this He said of the Spirit, which those believing in Him were about to receive; for not yet was the Holy Spirit, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
เย ตสฺมินฺ วิศฺวสนฺติ ต อาตฺมานํ ปฺราปฺสฺยนฺตีตฺยรฺเถ ส อิทํ วากฺยํ วฺยาหฺฤตวานฺ เอตตฺกาลํ ยาวทฺ ยีศุ รฺวิภวํ น ปฺราปฺตสฺตสฺมาตฺ ปวิตฺร อาตฺมา นาทียตฯ
40 Many, therefore, out of the multitude, having heard the word, said, “This is truly the Prophet”;
เอตำ วาณีํ ศฺรุตฺวา พหโว โลกา อวทนฺ อยเมว นิศฺจิตํ ส ภวิษฺยทฺวาทีฯ
41 others said, “This is the Christ”; and others said, “Why, does the Christ come out of Galilee?
เกจิทฺ อกถยนฺ เอเษอว โสภิษิกฺตฺต: กินฺตุ เกจิทฺ อวทนฺ โสภิษิกฺตฺต: กึ คาลีลฺ ปฺรเทเศ ชนิษฺยเต?
42 Did the Writing not say that out of the seed of David, and from Beth-Lehem—the village where David was—the Christ comes?”
โสภิษิกฺตฺโต ทายูโท วํเศ ทายูโท ชนฺมสฺถาเน ไพเตฺลหมิ ปตฺตเน ชนิษฺยเต ธรฺมฺมคฺรนฺเถ กิมิตฺถํ ลิขิตํ นาสฺติ?
43 A division, therefore, arose among the multitude because of Him.
อิตฺถํ ตสฺมินฺ โลกานำ ภินฺนวากฺยตา ชาตาฯ
44 And certain of them were willing to seize Him, but no one laid hands on Him;
กติปยโลกาสฺตํ ธรฺตฺตุมฺ ไอจฺฉนฺ ตถาปิ ตทฺวปุษิ โกปิ หสฺตํ นารฺปยตฺฯ
45 the officers came, therefore, to the chief priests and Pharisees, and they said to them, “Why did you not bring Him?”
อนนฺตรํ ปาทาติคเณ ปฺรธานยาชกานำ ผิรูศินาญฺจ สมีปมาคตวติ เต ตานฺ อปฺฤจฺฉนฺ กุโต เหโตสฺตํ นานยต?
46 The officers answered, “Never so spoke man—as this Man.”
ตทา ปทาตย: ปฺรตฺยวทนฺ ส มานว อิว โกปิ กทาปิ โนปาทิศตฺฯ
47 The Pharisees, therefore, answered them, “Have you also been led astray?
ตต: ผิรูศิน: ปฺราโวจนฺ ยูยมปิ กิมภฺรามิษฺฏ?
48 Did anyone out of the rulers believe in Him? Or out of the Pharisees?
อธิปตีนำ ผิรูศินาญฺจ โกปิ กึ ตสฺมินฺ วฺยศฺวสีตฺ?
49 But this multitude, that is not knowing the Law, is accursed.”
เย ศาสฺตฺรํ น ชานนฺติ ต อิเม'ธมโลกาเอว ศาปคฺรสฺตา: ฯ
50 Nicodemus says to them—he who came by night to Him—being one of them,
ตทา นิกทีมนามา เตษาเมโก ย: กฺษณทายำ ยีโศ: สนฺนิธิมฺ อคาตฺ ส อุกฺตฺตวานฺ
51 “Does our law judge the Man, if it may not hear from Him first, and know what He does?”
ตสฺย วาเกฺย น ศฺรุเต กรฺมฺมณิ จ น วิทิเต 'สฺมากํ วฺยวสฺถา กึ กญฺจน มนุชํ โทษีกโรติ?
52 They answered and said to him, “Are you also out of Galilee? Search and see that a prophet has not risen out of Galilee”; [[
ตตเสฺต วฺยาหรนฺ ตฺวมปิ กึ คาลีลียโลก: ? วิวิจฺย ปศฺย คลีลิ โกปิ ภวิษฺยทฺวาที โนตฺปทฺยเตฯ
53 and each one went on to his house, but Jesus went on to the Mount of Olives.
ตต: ปรํ สรฺเวฺว สฺวํ สฺวํ คฺฤหํ คตา: กินฺตุ ยีศุ ไรฺชตุนนามานํ ศิโลจฺจยํ คตวานฺฯ
