< John 6 >
1 After these things Jesus went away beyond the Sea of Galilee (of Tiberias),
Mambu momo bu mavioka, Yesu wusabuka ku disimu dinkaka di mbu wu Ngalili, wubeta tedila diaka mbu wu Tibeliadi.
2 and there was following Him a great multitude, because they were seeing His signs that He was doing on the ailing;
Nkangu wu batu wunlandakana bila batu bamona bikumu ki kavanga mu bambevo.
3 and Jesus went up to the mountain, and He was sitting with His disciples there,
Yesu wumaka ku mongo; kuna kavuanda ayi minlonguki miandi.
4 and the Passover was near, the celebration of the Jews.
Muaki Pasika, nyengo wu Bayuda, wuba nduka.
5 Jesus then having lifted up [His] eyes and having seen that a great multitude comes to Him, says to Philip, “From where will we buy loaves, that these may eat?”
Yesu bu kazungisa thalu mu zindambu zioso; wumona nkangu wu batu weti kuiza ku kaba, wuyuvula Filipi ti: —Filipi, kuevi tufueti sumbila mapha muingi batu baba badia e?
6 And this He said, trying him, for He Himself had known what He was about to do.
Wutula bobo mu kummeka kuandi bila niandi veka wuzaba diambu mbi keka vanga.
7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of loaves are not sufficient to them, that each of them may receive some little”;
Filipi wumvutudila: —A mueni Nlongi: mapha makua tulenda sumbila mu zikhama zizole zi denali, malenda fuana muingi kadika mutu kabaka tini e?
8 one of His disciples—Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter—says to Him,
Nlonguki wumosi mu minlonguki miandi, Andele khomba yi Simoni Piela wunkamba:
9 “There is one little boy here who has five barley loaves and two fishes, but these—what are they to so many?”
—Muana ditoko dimosi didi vava beki mapha matanu ayi zimbizi zizole zinlangu. Vayi mbi binsundula mu diambu di nkangu wu batu baba e?
10 And Jesus said, “Make the men to sit down”; and there was much grass in the place, the men then sat down, in number, as it were, five thousand,
Yesu wukamba: —Luvuandisa batu boso. Biti biwombo biba va buangu beni. Babakala bavuanda. Baba nduka-nduka mili tanu.
11 and Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks He distributed [them] to the disciples, and the disciples to those reclining, in like manner, also of the little fishes as much as they wished.
Yesu wubonga mapha beni, wuvutula matondo, wukabudila batu bobo bavuanda. Wuba vana zimbizi boso bu bela luzolo luawu.
12 And when they were filled, He says to His disciples, “Gather together the broken pieces that are left over, that nothing may be lost”;
Bu bamana yukuta, Yesu wukamba minlonguki miandi: —Buabu, lukubika bitini biobi bisiadidi muingi ka diambu ko tini kimosi kibika bungana.
13 they gathered together, therefore, and filled twelve hand-baskets with broken pieces, from the five barley loaves that were over to those having eaten.
Bakubika bitini beni; bawesa kumi ayi bipani biodi mu bitini bisiadidila mu mapha matanu momo batu badia.
14 The men, then, having seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is coming into the world”;
Batu bu bamona kumu kioki Yesu kavanga; buna bakamba ti: —Bukiedika kuandi ti mutu wowo niandi mbikudi wowo wufueti kuiza va nza!
15 Jesus, therefore, having known that they are about to come, and to seize Him by force that they may make Him king, retired again to the mountain Himself alone.
Yesu bu kazaba ti batidi kuiza ayi kunkitula ntinu mu kingolo; buna wuyenda diaka niandi veka ku mongo.
16 And when evening came, His disciples went down to the sea,
Mu thangu masika, minlonguki miandi minengumuka ku mbi,
17 and having entered into the boat, they were going over the sea to Capernaum, and darkness had already come, and Jesus had not come to them,
mikuma mu nlungu ayi miyenda ku Kafalinawumi ku disimu dinkaka di mbu. Buisi buna buyididi vayi Yesu katudidi ko ku baba.
18 the sea also—a great wind blowing—was being raised,
Vuka kingolo ki muphepi kitona ayi mbu wunikuka ngolo.
19 having pushed onward, therefore, about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they behold Jesus walking on the sea, and coming near to the boat, and they were afraid;
Bu bavuila mu tezo nanga ki kilometele bitanu voti bisambanu, Yesu wulembo diatila va mbata nlangu ayi wufikama vaba nlungu. Tsisi yingolo yiba buila.
20 and He says to them, “I AM; do not be afraid”;
Vayi Yesu wuba kamba: —Bikanu kueno mona tsisi bila minu kuandi!
21 they were willing then to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat came to the land to which they were going.
Bazola ku nkotisa mu nlungu, vayi muna thangu beni kaka bazimbukila nlungu wusesa va disimu, va buangu kioki baba kuenda.
22 On the next day, the multitude that was standing on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little boat there except one—that into which His disciples entered—and that Jesus did not go in with His disciples into the little boat, but His disciples went away alone
Mu lumbu kilanda, nkangu wu batu wowo wusiala ku disimu di dinkaka di mbu, bu wumona ti vasia ba ko nlungu wunkaka botula kaka wowo minlonguki miandi mikuma ayi bu wumona ti Yesu kasia kuma ko mu nlungu banga minlonguki miandi, vayi minlonguki miandi miyenda miawu veka.
23 (and other little boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they ate the bread, the LORD having given thanks),
Vayi minlungu minkaka miba ku Tibeliasi miyiza sesa va ndambu vovo badila mapha, Pfumu bu kamana vutula matondo.
24 when therefore the multitude saw that Jesus is not there, nor His disciples, they also entered into the boats themselves, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus;
Diawu nkangu bu wumona ti Yesu ayi minlonguki miandi basia ba vana ko, buna bakuma mu minlungu ayi bayenda ku Kafalinawumi mu kuenda tombi Yesu.
25 and having found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when have You come here?”
Bu bammona ku disimu dinkaka di mbu, banyuvula: —Labi, thangu mbi wizidingi kuaku e?
26 Jesus answered them and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were satisfied;
Yesu wuba vutudila: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba ti: lulembo thombila bika sia ti mu diambu bu lumueni bikumu vayi mu diambu ludidi mapha ayi luyukutidi.
27 do not work for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to continuous life, which the Son of Man will give to you, for the Father sealed Him—[even] God.” (aiōnios )
Lusala, bika sia ti mu diambu di bidia bieta bola vayi lusala mu diambu di bidia biobi binzingilanga nate mu luzingu lukalumani, biobi Muana mutu kela kuluvana bila niandi Nzambi Dise katula dimbu. (aiōnios )
28 Therefore they said to Him, “What may we do that we may work the works of God?”
Bawu banyuvula: —Buna mbi tuvanga muingi tuvanga mavanga ma Nzambi e?
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you may believe in Him whom He sent.”
Yesu wuba vutudila: —Mavanga ma Nzambi mawu mama: wilukila mutu wowo kafidisa.
30 Therefore they said to Him, “What sign, then, do You do, that we may see and may believe You? What do You work?
Buna banyuvudila: —Kumu mbi ngeyo tidi vanga muingi beto tukimona ayi tuwilukila e? Mbi wukuiza vangi e?
31 Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, according as it is having been written: He gave them bread out of Heaven to eat.”
Bakulu beto badia mana mu dikanga banga bu busonimina: Wuba vana mapha maba ku Diyilu.
32 Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread out of Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of Heaven;
Yesu wuba kamba: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba: bikanu banza ti Moyize niandi wuluvana diphadiodi diba ku Diyilu; vayi Siama niandi wuluveni dimpa di kiedika diodi diba ku Diyilu.
33 for the bread of God is Him coming down out of Heaven, and giving life to the world.”
Mutu wowo wuba ku diyilu niandi dipha di Nzambi ayi niandi wumvananga luzingu va ntoto.
34 Therefore they said to Him, “Lord, always give us this bread.”
Bankamba: —Pfumu, wutuvananga dimpa beni mu zithangu zioso.
35 And Jesus said to them, “I AM the bread of life; he who is coming to Me may not hunger, and he who is believing in Me may not thirst—at any time;
Yesu wuba vutudila: —Minu ndidi dipha dimvananga luzingu. Woso mutu wunkuiza kuidi minu kalendi buela monanga nzala ko. Woso mutu wukunguilukila kalendi buela monanga phuila ko.
36 but I said to you that you also have seen Me, and you do not believe;
Vayi ndilukembi ti beno lumbueni vayi lumengi kueno wilukila.
37 all that the Father gives to Me will come to Me; and him who is coming to Me, I will never cast outside,
Batu boso baphana Tata bela kuiza kuidi minu. Ndilendi ko loza woso mutu wunkuiza kuidi minu.
38 because I have come down out of Heaven, not that I may do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
Bila minu bu ndiba ku diyilu ndisia kuiza ko mu diambu di vanga luzolo luama vayi mu diambu di vanga luzolo lu mutu wowo wuthuma.
39 And this is the will of the Father who sent Me, that all that He has given to Me, I may lose none of it, but may raise it up in the last day;
Vayi luzolo lu mutu wowo wuthuma luawu lualu: ndibika zimbisakadi mutu wumosi mu batu boso bobo kaphana vayi ndibafulukisa mu lumbu ki tsuka.
40 and this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who is beholding the Son, and is believing in Him, may have continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day.” (aiōnios )
Luzolo lu Siama luawu lualu: woso mutu wummona Muana ayi wukunwilukila kabaka luzingu lukalumani ayi minu ndiela kumfulukisa mu lumbu ki tsuka. (aiōnios )
41 The Jews, therefore, were murmuring at Him, because He said, “I AM the bread that came down out of Heaven”;
Bayuda baniunguta mu diambu diandi bila niandi wutuba ti “minu ndidi dipha diba ku Diyilu.”
42 and they said, “Is this not Jesus, the Son of Joseph, whose father and mother we have known? How then does this One say, I have come down out of Heaven?”
Buna bawu batuba: Niandi ko Yesu Muana Zefu e? Keti tuzebi siandi ayi nguandi e? Buna buevi kalenda tubila ti ku Diyilu kaba e?
43 Jesus answered, therefore, and said to them, “Do not murmur with one another;
Vayi Yesu wuba vutudila: —Bikanu kueno miunguta mu beno na beno!
44 no one is able to come to Me if the Father who sent Me may not draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day;
Bila mutu kalendi kuiza kuidi minu ko enati Dise diodi dithuma kasikuntuta ko ayi minu ndiela kumfulukisa mu lumbu kitsuka.
45 it is having been written in the Prophets: And they will all be taught of God; everyone, therefore, who heard from the Father, and learned, comes to Me;
Bila mimbikudi misonika: Babo, Nzambi wela kuba longa. Diawu woso mutu wuwa Tata ayi wulongu kuidi niandi, wela kuiza kuidi minu.
46 not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God, He has seen the Father.
Bila kuisi ko mutu wumona Tata vayi mutu wowo kaka wubakuidi Nzambi; niandi kaka wumona Tata.
47 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is believing in Me has continuous life; (aiōnios )
Bukiedika bukiedika ndikulukamba ti woso kuandi mutu wilukidi, niandi wela baka luzingu lukalumani. (aiōnios )
48 I AM the bread of life;
Minu ndidi dipha dimvananga luzingu.
49 your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness and they died;
Bakulu beno badia mana mu dikanga vayi bafua.
50 this is the bread that is coming down out of Heaven, that anyone may eat of it, and not die.
Vayi tala diawu diadi dipha diba ku Diyilu mu diambu di woso wukudidia kabika fua.
51 I AM the living bread that came down out of Heaven; if anyone may eat of this bread he will live—throughout the age; and the bread also that I will give is My flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.” (aiōn )
Minu ndidi dipha dimvananga luzingu. Dipha beni ku Diyilu diba. Woso mutu wukudidia wela zinga mu zithangu zikazimani. Dipha diodi ndiela vanayawu nitu ama. Yawu ndiela vana mu diambu di luzingu lu nza. (aiōn )
52 The Jews, therefore, were striving with one another, saying, “How is this One able to give us [His] flesh to eat?”
Bayuda bafindana bawu na bawu zimpaka, batuba: —Buna buevi mutu wowo kalenda kutuvanina nituꞌandi muingi tuyidia e?
53 Jesus, therefore, said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you may not eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and may not drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves;
Yesu wuba kamba: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba: enati lukadi dia nitu yi Muana Mutu ayi enati lukadi nua menga mandi, buna lulendi baka ko luzingu mu beno veka.
54 he who is eating My flesh, and is drinking My blood, has continuous life, and I will raise him up in the last day; (aiōnios )
Bila woso mutu wela dia nituꞌama ayi wela nua menga mama, wela baka luzingu lukalumani ayi ndiela kumfulukisa mu lumbu ki tsuka. (aiōnios )
55 for My flesh is truly food, and My blood is truly drink;
Bila nituꞌama biawu bidia bikiedika, menga mama mawu nduinu yi kiedika.
56 he who is eating My flesh, and is drinking My blood, remains in Me, and I in him.
Woso wela dia nituꞌama ayi wela nua menga mama wela ba mu minu ayi minu ndiela ba mu niandi.
57 According as the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating Me, even that one will live because of Me;
Bu didi ti Tata wuthuma widi moyo ayi minu ndilembo zingi mu diambudi Tata, diawu woso wundia nitu ama wela zinga mu diambu diama.
58 this is the bread that came down out of Heaven; not as your fathers ate the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread will live—throughout the age.” (aiōn )
Diawu diadi dipha diba ku Diyilu, disi ko banga diodi didiabakulu beno ayi bafua. Vayi woso wundia dipha diadi wela zinga mu mvu ka mvu. (aiōn )
59 He said these things in a synagogue, teaching in Capernaum;
Yesu wutuba mambu momo bu kaba longa mu nzo lukutukunu ku Kafalinawumi.
60 many, therefore, of His disciples having heard, said, “This word is hard; who is able to hear it?”
Bu bamana kunwa, buna bawombo mu minlonguki miandi mikamba: —A beno, mambu mama ngolo madi. Nani wulenda ku masudika e?
61 And Jesus having known in Himself that His disciples are murmuring about this, said to them, “Does this stumble you?
Yesu wuzaba ti minlonguki miandi miniunguta mu diambu dina, buna wuba kamba: —A buevi mambu mama malumonisini phasi mu mintima mieno e?
62 If then you may behold the Son of Man going up where He was before?
Buna enati lumueni Muana Mutu kumini ku katuama ta…?
63 It is the Spirit that is giving life; the flesh does not profit anything; the sayings that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life;
Pheve yawu yimvananga luzingu. Nitu yisi kadi mfunu ko. Mambu mama ndilukembi mawu Pheve ayi luzingu.
64 but there are certain of you who do not believe”; for Jesus had known from the beginning who they are who are not believing, and who is he who will deliver Him up,
Vayi bankaka muna luidi bakadi wilukila. Bila Yesu wukizabila tona vana thonono batu bobo bankambu wilukila ayi wukizabila mutu wowo wela kunsumbisa.
65 and He said, “Because of this I have said to you, No one is able to come to Me if it may not have been given him from My Father.”
Yesu wubuela tuba diaka: —Diawu ndilukambila ti kuisi ko mutu wulenda kuiza kuidi minu, enati Tata kasi kumvana ko diluaku.
66 From this [time] many of His disciples went away backward, and were no longer walking with Him,
Tona thangu yina, minlonguki miandi miwombo mivutuka, misia buela diata yandi va kimosi ko.
67 Jesus, therefore, said to the Twelve, “Do you also wish to go away?”
Buna Yesu wuyuvula kumi bamvuala buadi: —A buevi, beno mamveno, lutidi kueno kuenda e?
68 Simon Peter, therefore, answered Him, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have sayings of continuous life; (aiōnios )
Buna Simoni Piela wumvutudila: —Pfumu, kuidi nani tulenda diaka kuenda e? Ngeyo widi mambu mamvananga luzingu lukalumani. (aiōnios )
69 and we have believed, and we have known, that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Beto tuwilukidi ayi tuzebi ti ngeyo widi mutu wunlongo wu Nzambi.
70 Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you—the Twelve? And of you—one is a devil.”
Yesu wuba kamba: —Keti minu ndilusobula beno kumi bamvuala buadi? Vayi wumosi mu beno beki pheve yi satana.
71 And He spoke of Judas, [son] of Simon Iscariot, for he was about to deliver Him up, being one of the Twelve.
Yesu wutubila bobo mu diambu di Yuda Isikalioti, muana Simoni. Bila niandi wuzola kunsumbisa, niandi wuba wumosi mu kumi bamvuala buadi.
