< John 5 >
1 After these things there was a celebration of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
Hakumana izi kuvena mukiti wa Majuda, imi Jesu chayenda kwa Jerusalema.
2 and there is in Jerusalem by the sheep-[gate] a pool that is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porches,
Linu mwa Jerusalema hamulyango wa mulaka we mbelele, kwina kaziva, ako muchi Heveru ka sumpa Betesida, kavakwina kazuvo kena milyango i kwana iyanza.
3 in these were lying a great multitude of the ailing, blind, lame, withered, [[waiting for the moving of the water,
Ipalo ikatukite ya vaantu vava kulwala, vasavoni, vachunkuta, vazuminine luñañali vava lele mo. kulindila mezi avuva.”
4 for a messenger at a set time was going down in the pool, and was troubling the water, the first then having gone in after the troubling of the water, became whole of whatever sickness he was held.]]
Iñeloi lya simwine livashetuki ni kwiza kukundunga mezi imi vonse vava lyati mu mezi niakwete kukundungwa vava kuhola kumatuku onse avali kuva kataza.
5 And there was a certain man there being in ailment thirty-eight years,
zumwi mukwame avena ko ya valyali zilimo zina Makumi otatwe ni akwana iyanza ni zo tatwe.
6 him Jesus having seen lying, and having known that he is already a long time, He says to him, “Do you wish to become whole?”
Juse hamuvona nalele, imi cha lemuha kuti chavekele hateni inako inde, chawamba kwali, usaka kuva ni makete?”
7 The ailing man answered Him, “Lord, I have no man, that, when the water may be troubled, he may put me into the pool, and while I am coming, another goes down before me.”
Mukwame yava kulwala chetava, “Nfumwangu, kanina yowola kuni vika mukaziva ka mezi ha kasikwete kusimbulika. ha nikeza, zumwi wiza kuni hitilila.'
8 Jesus says to him, “Rise, take up your pallet, and be walking”;
Jesu chati kwali, “Zimame, zalule vulo vwako, imi uyende.”
9 and immediately the man became whole, and he took up his pallet, and was walking, and it was a Sabbath on that day,
Haho vulyo mukwame chahola, imi chazalula vulo vwakwe, ni kuyenda. Linu iyo izuva ivali le Nsavata.
10 the Jews then said to him that has been healed, “It is a Sabbath; it is not lawful to you to take up the pallet.”
Cwale Majuda chivati kwali yava hozwa, “le Nsavata mikozumininwe kuhinda vulo vwako.”
11 He answered them, “He who made me whole—that One said to me, Take up your pallet, and be walking”;
Chetava, “Iye wanihoza wati kwangu, 'Tole vulo vwako uyende.'”
12 they questioned him, then, “Who is the Man who is saying to you, Take up your bed and be walking?”
Chiva muvuza, “Njeni yozo muntu wa kuwambila, 'Vutole uyende'?”
13 But he that was healed had not known who He is, for Jesus moved away, a multitude being in the place.
Nihakuva vulyo, uzu yava hozwa kena avezi kuti ivali njeni kakuli Jesu ava lovoki, kakuli kuvena vantu vangi hechi chivaka.
14 After these things, Jesus finds him in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become whole; sin no more, lest something worse may happen to you.”
Kuzwa aho, Jesu chamuwana mwi tepmele imi chati kwali, “vone, chiwava ni makete! Sanzi upangi chivi hape, ili kuti chimwi chiivilala sanzi chi pangahali kwako.”
15 The man went away, and told the Jews that it is Jesus who made him whole,
Mukwame cha yenda imi cha viha ku Majuda kuti ivali nji Jesu ya va muhozi.
16 and because of this were the Jews persecuting Jesus, and seeking to kill Him, because these things He was doing on a Sabbath.
Linu ivaka lyezi zintu Majuda chiva nyandisa Jesu, kakuli ava pangi izi zintu le Nsavata.
17 And Jesus answered them, “My Father works until now, and I work”;
Jesu chavetava, Vandanda vakwetwe kutenda nangati hahanu, imi name, nikwete kutenda.”
18 because of this, then, were the Jews seeking the more to kill Him, because not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He also called God His own Father, making Himself equal to God.
Chevaka lyezi, Majuda chiva hupula kumwihaya nikuhitiliza kakuli kana vacholi feela i Nsavata, kono hapa ava sumpi Ireeza kuti njivesi, ava lilikanyezi ni mulimu.
19 Jesus therefore responded and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is not able to do anything of Himself, if He may not see the Father doing anything; for whatever things He may do, these also the Son does in like manner;
Juse chavetava, “Niti niti, Mwana kakwina chawola kupanga mwine, kunde vulyo ya zavona Isi zapanga, chonse chapanga Isi, Mwana uzipanga naye. Kakuli
20 for the Father cherishes the Son, and shows to Him all things that He Himself does; and greater works than these He will show Him, that you may wonder.
Musheni usaka Mwana umutondeza zinti zonse zapanga iye mwine, imi mwa mutondeze zintu zikando zihita izi ili kuti nawe mukomokwe.
21 For as the Father raises the dead, and makes alive, so also the Son makes alive whom He wills;
Kakuti Tayo ava vusi vafwile imi ava vahi vuhalo, ni Mwana nae uha vuhalo kumuntu yense ya saka.
22 for neither does the Father judge anyone, but all the judgment He has given to the Son,
kakuli Tayo ka watuli muntu, kono kahe vuwatuli vonse ku Mwana
23 that all may honor the Son according as they honor the Father; he who is not honoring the Son, does not honor the Father who sent Him.
ili kuti vonse vakuteke Mwana muvakutekela Isi. Iye yasa kuteki Mwana kakuteki Isi yava mutumi.
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who is hearing My word, and is believing Him who sent Me, has continuous life, and he does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. (aiōnios )
Niti, niti, iye yo zuwa linzwi lyangu imi yo zumina yava nitumi wina vuhalo vusamani imi kete anyazahale, kono washila ifu kuya kuvuhalo. (aiōnios )
25 Truly, truly, I say to you, [that] there comes an hour, and it now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard will live;
Niti, niti, nimi wambila inako ikezite, imi njahanu, vafwile hete niva zuwe inzwii lya Mwana wa Ireeza, imi avo vete vazuwe muva hale.
26 for as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave also to the Son to have life in Himself,
Sina Tayo hena vuhalo mwali iye mwine, chovulyo avahi ku Mwanakwe ili kuti naye ave nivuhalo mwakwe mwine,
27 and authority He gave Him also to do judgment, because He is Son of Man.
imi Isi avahi Mwana mata kuzwila havusu ni nkatulo kakuli Mwana wa Muntu.
28 Do not wonder at this, because there comes an hour in which all those in the tombs will hear His voice,
Sanzi mukomokiswa izi, kakuli kwina inako ikeza iyo vonse vena mumavita kava zuwe ilinzwi
29 and they will come forth; those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced evil things to a resurrection of judgment.
imi kaveze hanze: avo vavapangi vulotu kukuvuka kwa vuhalo, imi avo vava pangi vuvi kukuvuka kwe nkatulo.
30 I am not able of Myself to do anything; according as I hear I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father who sent Me.
Kakwina chini wola kulipangila nimwine. hani zuwa, ni watula, imi kuwatula kulukite kakuli kani kavulola kusaka kwangu kono cha kusaka kwa yava nitumi.
31 If I testify concerning Myself, My testimony is not true;
haiva niswanela kupaka kuamana name,
32 there is another who is testifying concerning Me, and I have known that the testimony that He testifies concerning Me is true;
vupaki vwangu kete vuve vwe niti, kwina yo swanela paka kuamana name, mi nizi kuti vupakwi vaha kuamana name initi.
33 you have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
Uva tumini kwa Johani, imi avapaki vuniti.
34 But I do not receive testimony from man, but these things I say that you may be saved;
Kono vupaki vuni vatambuli kavuzwi kumuntu. Niwamba izi zintu kuti muwanela ku hazwe.
35 he was the burning and shining lamp, and you willed to be glad, for an hour, in his light.
Johani ivali ilambi liva kunika niku venya, imi muvakuwola kutavela kusanga mwiseli lyakwe chenako zana.
36 But I have the testimony greater than John’s, for the works that the Father gave Me, that I might finish them, the works themselves that I do, they testify concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.
Kono vupaki vunikwete vukando kovuna vwa Johani, ka musevezi wavanihi uwo wavani Tayo uva nihi kuumana, yonse misevezi ini panga, unipaka kuti Tayo ava nitumi.
37 And the Father who sent Me has testified Himself concerning Me; you have neither heard His voice at any time, nor have you seen His appearance;
Tayo yava nitumi iye ava paki kuama name. yaseni kuzuwa inzwi lyakwe, kapa kuvona Chivupeho chakwe che nako.
38 and you do not have His word remaining in you, because you do not believe Him whom He sent.
kamwina inzwi lyakwe lishele mwenu, kamuzumini muya vamitumi.
39 You search the Writings, because you think in them to have continuous life, and these are they that are testifying concerning Me; (aiōnios )
Musaka mañolo kakuli mu hupula kuti muali kamuve ni vuhalo vusa mani, Imi mañolo aswana apaka kuamana name, (aiōnios )
40 and you do not will to come to Me, that you may have life;
imi kamusaki kwiza kwangu ili kuti muve ni vuhalo.
41 I do not receive glory from man,
Kaniwani kulumbekwa kuvaantu,
42 but I have known you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves.
kono nizi kuti kamwina ilato lya Ireeza mwenu.
43 I have come in the Name of My Father, and you do not receive Me; if another may come in his own name, him you will receive;
Nivakezi mwizina liva Tayo, imi kana muvani tambuli. Haiva zumwi nakeza mwizina lyakwe, kamumu tambule.
44 how are you able—you—to believe, receiving glory from one another, and the glory that [is] from God alone you do not seek?
Muwola kuzuminz vule, inwe mutambula kulumbekwa kuvaantu kono kamu gani kulumbekwa kuzwakwa Ireeza?
45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is [one] who is accusing you, Moses—in whom you have hoped;
Sanzi muhupuli kuti niwola kumihambiliza havusu vwa Tavo. yava mihambilizi nji Mushe, mwali mumu vavikite insepo yenu.
46 for if you were believing Moses, you would have been believing Me, for he wrote concerning Me;
Haiva muva zumini Mushe, ni muva nizumini kakuli ava ñoli kuamana name.
47 but if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My sayings?”
haiva kamuzumini zava ñoli, kamuzumine vule manzwii angu?”
