John 16
1 “These things I have spoken to you, that you may not be stumbled.
“我把这一切告诉了你们，让你们不会放弃对我的信任。
2 They will put you out of the synagogues, but an hour comes that everyone who has killed you may think to offer service to God;
人们会把你们赶出会堂，事实上时间已到，所有要杀害你们的人，都以为这样就是侍奉上帝。
3 and these things they will do to you, because they did not know the Father, nor Me.
他们这样做是因为他们不认识天父，也不认识我。我把一切告诉你们，以便在这一切发生的时候，你们会记得我所说的话。
4 But these things I have spoken to you, that when the hour may come, you may remember them, that I said [them] to you, and I did not say these things to you from the beginning, because I was with you;
我无需在开始就告诉你们这一切，因为你们将跟随我。
5 and now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me, To where do you go?
但现在我将要到派我来此的天父那里，但你们没有人问：‘你要到哪里去？’
6 But because I have said to you these things, the sorrow has filled your heart.
当然了，现在我把这一切都告诉了你们，你们便心生悲伤。
7 But I tell you the truth; it is better for you that I go away, for if I may not go away, the Comforter will not come to you, and if I go on, I will send Him to you;
但说实话，我的离开对你们更好。如果我不离开，保惠师就不会到来。我若离开，我就会派他来到你们身边。
8 and having come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment;
他到来的时候，就会说服世人，他们关于罪恶和正义的看法是错的，就会告诉他们什么是审判。
9 concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me;
关于罪，是因为他们不信我；
10 and concerning righteousness, because I go away to My Father, and you behold Me no more;
关于义，是因为我到父那里去，你们就再看不见我；
11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
关于审判，是因为这世界的统治者已经受了审判。
12 I have yet many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear [them] now;
我还有许多事要告诉你们，可是你们现在无法承受；
13 and when He may come—the Spirit of truth—He will guide you to all the truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but as many things as He will hear He will speak, and the coming things He will tell you;
只等真理圣灵来到，他会教导你们一切真理。他不是为自己说话，而是把他听见的都说出来，把将来的事告诉你们。
14 He will glorify Me, because He will take of Mine, and will tell to you.
他让我荣耀，因为他要把从我那里获得的都告诉你们。
15 All things, as many as the Father has, are Mine; because of this I said that He will take of Mine, and will tell to you;
属于天父的一切也都属于我，所以我说，圣灵会把从我这里获得的告诉你们。
16 a little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go away to the Father.”
不久后，你们不会再看见我，但再过一段时间，你们还要看见我。”
17 Therefore [some] of His disciples said to one another, “What is this that He says to us, A little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me, and, Because I go away to the Father?”
于是他的门徒中有几个彼此说：“他对我们说：‘不久后，你们就不会再看见我，但再过一段时间，你们还要看见我。’又说：‘因为我要到天父那里去。’这是什么意思呢？”
18 They said then, “What is this He says—the little while? We have not known what He says.”
他们又说：“他所说的‘不久’，是什么意思呢？不理解他在讲什么。”
19 Jesus, therefore, knew that they were wishing to ask Him, and He said to them, “Concerning this do you seek with one another, because I said, A little while, and you do not behold Me, and again a little while, and you will see Me?
耶稣知道他们想问他，就说：“我所说的‘不久，你们不会看见我，但再过一段时间，你们还要看见我’，你们为了这话彼此议论吗？
20 Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, and the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will become joy.
告诉你们实话，你们会痛哭哀号，世人却要欢喜，你们会忧愁，但你们的忧愁要变为欢乐。
21 The woman, when she may bear, has sorrow, because her hour came, and when she may bear the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, because of the joy that a man was born into the world.
妇人生产的时候会痛苦，因为这是分娩的时候。但生了孩子以后，就不再记住那痛苦了，而是欢喜孩子的诞生。
22 And you, therefore, now indeed have sorrow; and again I will see you, and your heart will rejoice, and no one takes your joy from you,
是的，现在你们也会悲伤，但我会与你们再次相见，你们的心就会欢喜，没有人能夺走你们的欢喜。
23 and in that day you will question nothing of Me; truly, truly, I say to you, as many things as you may ask of the Father in My Name, He will give you;
到了那天，你们什么也不会问我了。告诉你们实话，以我的名向天父求的任何事，他必定给予你们。
24 until now you asked nothing in My Name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
你们一直以来没有以我的名求什么，现在你们祈求就必然应验，让你们的欢喜圆满。
25 I have spoken these things in allegories to you, but there comes an hour when I will no longer speak to you in allegories, but will tell you freely of the Father.
我一直用比喻向你们讲述，但很快，我不会再使用比喻，而是把关于天父的事明明白白讲出来。
26 In that day you will make request in My Name, and I do not say to you that I will ask the Father for you,
到了那天，你们要以我的名祈求，我不是说我要以你们的名义请求天父，
27 for the Father Himself cherishes you, because you have cherished Me, and you have believed that I came forth from God;
因为天父爱你们，因为你们爱我，并且相信我来自上帝。
28 I came forth from the Father, and have come into the world; again I leave the world, and go on to the Father.”
我离开天父来到这世界，现在我要离开这世界，到天父那里去。”
29 His disciples say to Him, “Behold, now You speak freely, and You do not speak allegory;
门徒说：“现在你就明说了，不再用比喻，
30 now we have known that You have known all things, and have no need that anyone questions You; in this we believe that You came forth from God.”
现在我们很确定你无所不知，为了知道人们在想什么问题，你不需要问他们。因此，我们信你来自上帝。”
31 Jesus answered them, “Now do you believe? Behold, there comes an hour,
耶稣对他们说：“现在你们真信吗？
32 and now it has come, that you may be scattered, each to his own things, and you may leave Me alone, and I am not alone, because the Father is with Me;
时候要到了，其实已经到了，你们要分散到各自该去的地方，留我独自一个人。其实我不是独自一个人，因为有天父与我同在。
33 these things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace, in the world you will have tribulation, but take courage—I have overcome the world.”
我把这些事告诉你们，是要使你们因为与我一体而平安。 在世上你们会遭受苦难，但你们要勇敢，我已经胜过了这世界！”
