< John 13 >
1 And before the Celebration of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour has come, that He may depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who [are] in the world—to the end He loved them.
Nyengo Pasika buna weka nduka Yesu wuzaba ti thangu andi yifueni mu bika ntoto wawu ayi mu kuenda kuidi Tata; bu kazola batu bandi, bobobaba mu nza, buna wuba zola nate kuna tsukusunu.
2 And dinner having come, the Devil already having put [it] into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver Him up,
Mu thangu baba ndia mu masika, buna Satana wukikotisila mayindu mambimbi mu ntima Yuda Isikalioti, muana Simoni, muingi kavakula Yesu.
3 Jesus knowing that all things the Father has given to Him—into [His] hands, and that He came forth from God, and He goes to God,
Yesu bu kazaba ti Tata wuyekula bima bioso mu mioko miandi, bu kazaba ti kuidi Nzambi kaba ayi bu kazaba ti buna weka kuenda kuidi Nzambi,
4 rises from the dinner, and lays down His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded Himself;
buna wutelama va meza va baba; wutula minledi miandi va ndambu; wubonga nledi wumosi; bosi wukanga wawu mu luketo luandi.
5 afterward He puts water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of His disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which He was being girded.
Mbadi wudukula nlangu mu dibodi, wutona sukula malu ma minlongukimiandi ayi wufiona mawu mu nledi wowo kakanga mu luketo luandi.
6 He comes, therefore, to Simon Peter, and that one says to Him, “Lord, You—do You wash my feet?”
Bu katula vaba Simoni Piela, Piela wunkamba: —A Pfumu, ngeyo Wunsukula malu mama e?
7 Jesus answered and said to him, “That which I do you have not known now, but you will know after these things”;
Yesu wumvutudila: —Mambu momo ndimvanga wusi mazaba ko buabu vayi wela ku masudika ku ntuala.
8 Peter says to Him, “You may not wash my feet—throughout the age.” Jesus answered him, “If I may not wash you, you have no part with Me”; (aiōn )
Piela wunkamba: —Nana, Pfumu! Ngeyo kadi khumbu wulendi ko sukula malu mama! Yesu wumvutudila: —Enati ndikadi kusukula malu buna kuisi yama kithuadi ko! (aiōn )
9 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.”
Simoni Piela wunkamba: —A Pfumu, bika sia ti mo malu mama kaka vayi mioko miama ayi ntu ama.
10 Jesus says to him, “He who has been bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and you are clean, but not all”;
Yesu wumvutudila: —Mutu yobidi mu nitu yimvimba, widi kaka mfunu mu sukula malu bila widi wuvedila nitu yimvimba. Beno luidi bavedila, vayi bika sia ti beno boso!
11 for He knew him who is delivering Him up; because of this He said, “You are not all clean.”
Yesu wuzaba kuandi mutu wowo wufueti kumvakula. Diawu katubila ti: “Beno boso luisi bavedila ko!”
12 When, therefore, He washed their feet, and took His garments, having reclined again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
Bu kamana ku basukula malu ayi bu kavuata minledi miandi, wuyenda buela vuanda diaka va meza ayi wuba yuvula: —A buevi, lusudikidi diambu diodi ndiluvangidi e?
13 You call Me the Teacher and the LORD, and you say well, for I am;
Beno lueta kuthedila Nlongi ayi Pfumu, bukiedika kuandi lueta tuba bila ndidi Pfumu ayi ndidi Nlongi.
14 if then I washed your feet—the LORD and the Teacher—you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Enati minu Pfumu ayi Nlongi ndilusukudi malu, buna beno mamveno lufueti kukisukulanga malu meno beno na beno.
15 For I gave to you an example, that, according as I did to you, you also may do;
Bila ndilumonisini kifuani. Banga bu ndiluvangidi, buawu beno mamveno luvanganga.
16 truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;
Bukiedika, bukiedika ndikulukamba ti kisadi kasi viatuka ko pfumuꞌandi ayi mvuala kasi viatuka ko mutu wowo wuntuma.
17 if you have known these things, you are blessed if you may do them;
Enati luzebi mambu mama, buna ma luba batu ba zikhini beno sadila mawu.
18 I do not speak concerning you all; I have known whom I chose for Myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with Me, lifted up his heel against Me.
Bika sia ti mu diambu di beno boso ndintubila bobo bila nzebi bobo ndisobula. Vayi mu diambu di masonuku madedakana: Woso wundia yama dipha va kimosi niandi wumbalumukini.
19 From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, you may believe that I AM;
Ndilukembi mawu tona buabu, tuamina mambu beni mavangama muingi muthangu mela vangama luba wilukila ti minu ndidi mutu wowo widi tona vana thonono.
20 truly, truly, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, receives Me; and he who is receiving Me, receives Him who sent Me.”
Bukiedika, bukiedika ndikulukamba woso mutu tambudi mutu ndiela fidisa; buna minu katambudi ayi woso wuthambudi buna tambudi mutu wowo wuthuma.
21 Having said these things, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you will deliver Me up”;
Bu kamana tuba mambu momo, Yesu wumona kiadi mu ntima ayi wutelama kimbangi bu katuba ti: —Bukiedika ndikulukamba ti mutu wumosi mu beno wela kundiekula.
22 the disciples were looking, therefore, at one another, doubting concerning of whom He speaks.
Minlonguki mitalasana, ayi misia zaba ko nani kayolukila.
23 And there was one of His disciples reclining in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;
Wumosi mu minlonguki miandi, wowo Yesu kaluta zola, wuyekama va thulu yi Yesu.
24 Simon Peter, then, beckons to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom He speaks,
Simoni Piela wulabikisa nlonguki beni muingi kayuvula Yesu kani nani kayolukila.
25 and that one having leaned back on the breast of Jesus, responds to Him, “Lord, who is it?”
Buna nlonguki beni wuyekama va thulu yi Yesu, wunyuvula: —Pfumu, buna nani kuandi e?
26 Jesus answers, “It is that one to whom I, having dipped the morsel, will give it”; and having dipped the morsel, He gives [it] to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.
Yesu wunkamba: —Woso mutu wowo ndikuiza vani tini ki dipha kioki ndikuiza buiki mu supu. Bu kabuika tini ki dipha mu supu; wuvana kiawu kuidi Yuda Isikalioti, muana Simoni.
27 And after the morsel, then Satan entered into that one. Jesus, therefore, says to him, “What you do—do quickly”;
Yuda bu katambula tini ki dipha beni, buna Satana wukota mu niandi. Buna yesu wunkamba: —Tula nsualu mu vanga diambu diodi tidi vanga!
28 and none of those reclining to eat knew for what intent He said this to him,
Kadi mutu wumosi mu babo bavuanda va meza kasia sudika ko bila mbi Yesu kankambila bobo
29 for certain [of them] were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus says to him, “Buy what we have need of for the celebration”; or that he may give something to the poor;
bila bankaka babanzila ti Yesu wukamba Yuda, bu kaba nlundi wu zimbongo, ti kenda sumbi bibio bavua mfunu mu diambu di nyengo voti wumvana lutumunu mu vana zimbongo kuidi minsukami.
30 having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.
Bu kamana tambula tini ki dipha, Yuda wutotuka nsualu. Vaba va builu.
31 When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus says, “Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in Him;
Yuda bu Yuda bu katotuka, Yesu wutuba: —Buabu Muana Mutu kembosolo ayi Nzambi kembosolo mu niandi. [
32 if God was glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself; indeed, He will immediately glorify Him.
Enati Nzambi kembosolo mu niandi, ] buna Nzambi mamvandi wela kembisa Muana Mutu mu niandi ayi fioti fisiedi buna wela kunkembisa.
33 Little children, yet a little [while] am I with you; you will seek Me, and according as I said to the Jews, I also say to you now: To where I go away, you are not able to come.
Bana bama, mu ndambu thangu kaka ndikididi yeno. Luela ku thomba vayi banga bu ndikamba kuidi Bayuda: koko ndinkuenda beno lulendi baka bu kuizila kuawu ko. Buabu kuidi beno khembi buawu.
34 A new command I give to you, that you love one another; according as I loved you, that you also love one another;
Ndiluveni thumunu yimona: Luzolosananga beno na beno. Banga bu ndiluzodidi, beno mamveno luzolasananga beno na beno.
35 in this will all know that you are My disciples, if you may have love one to another.”
Enati luzolo luidi yeno beno na beno, buna buawu bobo bela zabila ti luidi minlonguki miama.
36 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, to where do You go away?” Jesus answered him, “To where I go away, you are not able now to follow Me, but afterward you will follow Me.”
Simoni Piela wunyuvula: —Pfumu, kuevi wunkuenda e? Yesu wumvutudila: —Buabu wulendi kundandakana ko koko ndinkuenda vayi wela kundandakana mu bilumbu bidi ku ntuala.
37 Peter says to Him, “Lord, why am I not able to follow You now? I will lay down my life for You”;
Piela wubuela kunyuvula diaka: —A Pfumu bila mbi ndilendi ku landikinina ko buabu e? Ndiela yekula luzingu luama mu diambu diaku.
38 Jesus answered him, “You will lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you may deny Me three times.”
Yesu wumvutudila: —Wela yekula luzingu luaku mu diambu diama e? Vayi bukiedika ndikukamba ti wela kuthunuka mu zikhumbu zitatu tuamina tsusu yikokula.
