< John 13 >

1 And before the Celebration of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour has come, that He may depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who [are] in the world—to the end He loved them.
Ye kikyale kufika ikyimike ikya Pasaka, uYesu alyakagwile kuuti unsiki ghwake ughwa kuvuuka mu iisi, kuluta kwa Viise ghufikile, alyavaghanile avaanhu vaake ifighono fyoni, ahufisie ulughono lwake kufika kuvusililo vwa vwumi vwake mu iisi muno.
2 And dinner having come, the Devil already having put [it] into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver Him up,
USetano akava ampeliile uYuda umwana ghwa Simoni Iskalioti amsaaghe agha kumwohela uYesu.
3 Jesus knowing that all things the Father has given to Him—into [His] hands, and that He came forth from God, and He goes to God,
UYesu alyakagwile kuuti uNhaata ampeliile uvutavulilua vwoni, na kuuti alyahumile kwa mwene kange igomoka kwa mwene.
4 rises from the dinner, and lays down His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded Himself;
Ye vali mu kyakulia, akiima, akafuula isopeka jaake akatandika paasi, pe akatoola ikitambala, akidenga.
5 afterward He puts water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of His disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which He was being girded.
Akaviika amalenga mu likalai akatengula kukuvofugha amaghulu avavulanisivua vaake na kupulusia ni kitambala kino idingile.
6 He comes, therefore, to Simon Peter, and that one says to Him, “Lord, You—do You wash my feet?”
Pe akafika pa Simoni uPeteli, pe uPeteli akati, “Ghwe Mutwa, ghulonda pikunyofugha une amaghulu?”
7 Jesus answered and said to him, “That which I do you have not known now, but you will know after these things”;
UYesu akamwamula akati, “Luno nivomba, uve naghukulutang'hania lino, looli kyaghukuluta ng'hania pambele.”
8 Peter says to Him, “You may not wash my feet—throughout the age.” Jesus answered him, “If I may not wash you, you have no part with Me”; (aiōn g165)
UPeteli akambuula akati, “Uve nung'anyafughe une amaghulu nambe padebe.” UYesu akamwamula akati, “Nave nanikukwofugha, naghuuva nu vuhangilanisi nuune.” (aiōn g165)
9 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.”
USimoni Peteli akati, “Ghwe Mutwa, navefyelulivua uleke pikunyafugha gha maghulu, looli unyafughe nagha mavoko naghu mutu.”
10 Jesus says to him, “He who has been bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and you are clean, but not all”;
UYesu akamwamula akati, “Umuunhu juno oghile um'bili, anoghiile kukwogha gha maghulu gheene, ulwakuva um'bili ghwoni ghuvaliile, najumue muvaliile, neke jumonga mulyumue mulyumue naavaliile.”
11 for He knew him who is delivering Him up; because of this He said, “You are not all clean.”
UYesu alyankagwile juno kyande ikumwohela, fye nambe alyatiile, “Jumonga mulyumue naavaliile.
12 When, therefore, He washed their feet, and took His garments, having reclined again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
UYesu ye amalile kukuvofugha amaghulu avavulanisivua vaake, akafwala isopeka jaake, akagomoka pano akikalile, pe akavaposia avavulanisivua vaake akati, “Asi, Mulutang'hinie luno nivombile kulyumue?
13 You call Me the Teacher and the LORD, and you say well, for I am;
Umue mukunhambula mwiti, 'Mbulanisi, kange mwiti Ntwa, Mujova seseene, ulwakuva nili m'bulanisi, kange nili Ntwa.
14 if then I washed your feet—the LORD and the Teacher—you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Lino nave une ne juno nili m'bulanisi, kange nili Ntwa nivofwighe amaghulu, enendiiki na jumue fye muvombelanilaghe.
15 For I gave to you an example, that, according as I did to you, you also may do;
Nivahufisie ikihwanikisio iki, kuuti najumue muvavombelaghe avajiinu ndavule nivavombiile umue.
16 truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;
Kyang'haani nikuvavuula, unkami nam'baha kukila untwa ghwake, nambe unsung'hua na m'baha kukila juno ansung'hile.
17 if you have known these things, you are blessed if you may do them;
Lino, ndave ughatang'hinie amasio agha, ufunyile nave ghuvomba isio.
18 I do not speak concerning you all; I have known whom I chose for Myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with Me, lifted up his heel against Me.
Nanijova isi kulyumue mweni, ulwakuva vano nivasalwile nivakagwile, neke nijova kukwilanisia aMalembe aMimike ghano ghiiti, “Umuunhu juno tuhangile kulia, angalukiile.
19 From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, you may believe that I AM;
Nikuvavuula isi lino pano sikyale pivoneka, neke kya sivoniike mwitike kuuti une NEENE.
20 truly, truly, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, receives Me; and he who is receiving Me, receives Him who sent Me.”
“Kyang'haani nikuvavuula, juno ikumwupila umuunhu juno ninsung'hile, ikunyupila une, ghwope juno ikunyupila une ikumwupila juno asung'hile une.
21 Having said these things, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you will deliver Me up”;
ye ajovile isio, akapumuka mu mwojo, akavavuula avavulanisivua vaake akati, “Kyang'haani nikuvavuula, jumonga mulyumue itapikunyohela.”
22 the disciples were looking, therefore, at one another, doubting concerning of whom He speaks.
Avavulanisivua vaake vakava vilolane, navakakagula kuuti ikun'jova veeni.
23 And there was one of His disciples reclining in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;
Umo muvavulanisivua va Yesu juno uYesu alyamughanile fiijo, alikalile piipi nu Yesu.
24 Simon Peter, then, beckons to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom He speaks,
USimoni uPeteli akamposia um'bulanisivua ujuo akati, “Tuvuule ghwe veeni juno ikunjova.”
25 and that one having leaned back on the breast of Jesus, responds to Him, “Lord, who is it?”
Pe um'bulanisivua jula juno eghiime pa kifuva kya Yesu akamposi akati, “Mutwa, ghwe veeni?”
26 Jesus answers, “It is that one to whom I, having dipped the morsel, will give it”; and having dipped the morsel, He gives [it] to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.
UYesu akamula akati, “Juno nikumpeela ikinkate kino nitapisaasa, ghwe mwene. “Pe akasaasa ikinkate, akampeela uYuuda umwana ghwa Simoni Isikalioti.
27 And after the morsel, then Satan entered into that one. Jesus, therefore, says to him, “What you do—do quickly”;
UYuda ye upiile ikinkate kila, uSetano akamwingila. Apuo uYesu akambuula akati, “Sino ghulonda kuvomba, vomba ng'haning'hani!”
28 and none of those reclining to eat knew for what intent He said this to him,
Neke vooni vano valyale vilia pala, nakwealyale nambe jumo juno alyakagwile kuuti kiki uYesu am'bulile u Yuuda enendikio.
29 for certain [of them] were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus says to him, “Buy what we have need of for the celebration”; or that he may give something to the poor;
Neke ulwakuva uYuda ghwe juno alyale ikola indalama, vamonga vakati uvone uYesu am'bulile kuuti akaghule ifinu fino filondua pa kikulukulu, avange vakatisagha uvone ansung'hile akaghule fimonga ifya kuvapeela avakotofu.
30 having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.
UYuda ye upiile ikinkate kila, akahuma kunji ng'haninghaani. Unsiki ughuo jilyale kilo.
31 When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus says, “Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in Him;
UYuda ye ahumile kunji, uYesu akati, “Lino uNguluve ahufisie uvuvaha vwango ne Mwana ghwa Muunhu, ghwope uNguluve uvuvaha vwake vuvonike kukilila une.
32 if God was glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself; indeed, He will immediately glorify Him.
Nave Unguluve uvuvaha vwake vuvonike kukilila une, ghwope uNguluve kyaihufia uvuvaha vwango kisila kudiila.
33 Little children, yet a little [while] am I with you; you will seek Me, and according as I said to the Jews, I also say to you now: To where I go away, you are not able to come.
“Mwe vanango, nili numue unsiki n'debe vuvule, kyamukundonda, neke lino nikuvavuula ndavule nikavavulile aVayahudi kuuti, “Une kuno niluta umue namungafike. “Lino nikuvavuula na jumue.
34 A new command I give to you, that you love one another; according as I loved you, that you also love one another;
Lino nikuvapeela ululaghilo ulupia kuuti, 'Mughananaghe, ndavule une vule nivaghanile umue najumue mughananaghe.
35 in this will all know that you are My disciples, if you may have love one to another.”
Nave mughanana, avaanhu vooni vikagula kuuti umue muli vavulanisivua vango.”
36 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, to where do You go away?” Jesus answered him, “To where I go away, you are not able now to follow Me, but afterward you will follow Me.”
USimoni uPeteli akamposia akati, “Ghwe Mutwa, ghuluta kuughi?” UYesu akamwamula akati, “Kuno niluta nungam'bingilile lino, looli ghulikumbingilila pambele.
37 Peter says to Him, “Lord, why am I not able to follow You now? I will lay down my life for You”;
UPeteli akati, “Ghwe Mutwa, kiki naningakuvingilile lino? Une nitavwile vwimila uve, nambe kuuve kwe kufua.”
38 Jesus answered him, “You will lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you may deny Me three times.”
UYesu akamwamula akati, “Ghutavwile vwimila une, nambe kuuve kwe kufua? Kyang'haani nikukuvuula, ing'hongove ye jikyale kuvika, ghuuva ung'hanile katatu.
