< John 13 >

1 And before the Celebration of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour has come, that He may depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who [are] in the world—to the end He loved them.
Kalkân kût khohoi rang ni motontet ahong ni zoia. Jisua'n hi rammuol hih mâkin Pa kôm a se rang zora atung zoi ti a rieta. Ama ta ngei lelê, hi rammuola om, a lungkham ngâi ngei hah among ni dênin a lungkham ngei tita.
2 And dinner having come, the Devil already having put [it] into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver Him up,
Jisua le a ruoisingei jânbu an nêk han. Diabol'n Simon Iscariot nâipasal Judas mulungrîla Jisua minsûr rangin mindonna a lei dar chien zoia.
3 Jesus knowing that all things the Father has given to Him—into [His] hands, and that He came forth from God, and He goes to God,
Jisua hah, Pa'n rachamneina murdi a pêk, ti le Pathien renga juong ania, Pathien kôm se nôk rang ani ti a rieta.
4 rises from the dinner, and lays down His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded Himself;
Masikin bukhalâi otna dosâng kung renga ânthoia, a chunghak kâncholi a kheka, male inhûinapuon a lâka, a kong a khita.
5 afterward He puts water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of His disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which He was being girded.
Hanchu dabôra tui a sunga, ruoisingei kengei a rusûk phut zoia, a konga puon lehan a hûi pe ngeia.
6 He comes, therefore, to Simon Peter, and that one says to Him, “Lord, You—do You wash my feet?”
Simon Peter kôm a honga, ama han, “Pumapa nangman ke kengei nursûk rang mo?” a tia.
7 Jesus answered and said to him, “That which I do you have not known now, but you will know after these things”;
Jisua'n a kôm, “Ki sintho hi atûn chu la riet mak che, hannirese nangkana chu la riet ni tih,” tiin a thuona.
8 Peter says to Him, “You may not wash my feet—throughout the age.” Jesus answered him, “If I may not wash you, you have no part with Me”; (aiōn g165)
Peter'n a kôm, “Nangman chu khotiklâi khom ka kengei rusûk tet no ti nih!” a tia. Jisua'n a kôm, “Ne kengei kursûk nônchu ku ruoisi ni khâi no tinih,” a tia. (aiōn g165)
9 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.”
Simon Peter'n a kôm, “Pumapa, nônchu ke kengei vai rusûk nônla, ku kutngei le ku lu khom rusûk sa roh!” tiin a thuona.
10 Jesus says to him, “He who has been bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and you are clean, but not all”;
Jisua'n a tia, “Tukhom tui ânbuol sai chu asâi zoi ani, a kengei tilloiin chu adang arsûk rang nâng khâi maka. Nin lâia mi inkhat tiloiin chu nin rêngin nin sâivar zoi.”
11 for He knew him who is delivering Him up; because of this He said, “You are not all clean.”
(Jisua'n a minsûr rangpu ha a riet chien sai ani; sikin, “Nin lâia mi inkhat, tiloiin chu, nin rêngin nin sâivar zoi,” a ti ani)
12 When, therefore, He washed their feet, and took His garments, having reclined again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
Jisua'n an kengei arsûk suole chu a chunghak kâncholi a haka male a mun nanâka dosâng tieng a kîr nôka. “Nin chunga ki sintho hih nin riet thei mo?” tiin a rekel ngeia.
13 You call Me the Teacher and the LORD, and you say well, for I am;
“Nangnin Minchupu le Pumapa mi nin tia, nin ti mindik ani, asikchu ni khom ki ni tatak ani.
14 if then I washed your feet—the LORD and the Teacher—you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
Keima, nin Pumapa le Minchupu'n luo nin kengei ku rusûk ani, Ma anghan, nangni khom nin kengei nin rusûk inlôm rang ani.
15 For I gave to you an example, that, according as I did to you, you also may do;
Nin chunga ko tho anghin nangni khomin nin tho theina rangin nangni ki min mu ani.
16 truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;
Chongdiktak nangni ki ril: suokngei hih an pu nêkin lien mak ngeia, thangtheipungei khom a tîrpu nêkin lien mak ngei.
17 if you have known these things, you are blessed if you may do them;
Atûn chu ma chongdik hah nin riet zoi, nin jômin chu nin râisân tatak atih!
18 I do not speak concerning you all; I have known whom I chose for Myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with Me, lifted up his heel against Me.
“Nin renga nin thurchi misîr mu-ung, ka thang ngei chu keiman ki riet. Hannirese Pathien Lekhabu'n, ‘Ku bu nêkpu han mi doi zoi,’ a ti ha ahong dik ngêt anâng ani.
19 From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, you may believe that I AM;
Masikin mahi atûn ahongtung mân nangni ke lei ril ani, ahongtung tika khom ‘Ama ha Keima hi Ki Ni,’ tiin mi nin iem theina rangin.
20 truly, truly, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, receives Me; and he who is receiving Me, receives Him who sent Me.”
Chongdiktak nangni ki ril: tukhom ki mi tîr lei pom chu keima khom mi pom sa ania; male tukhom mi pom chu mi tîrpu khom a pom ani,” a tia.
21 Having said these things, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you will deliver Me up”;
Jisua'n ma chong hah a ti suole chu a mulung dûk a min tonga, “Chongdiktak nangni ki ril: nin lâia mi inkhatin mi minsûr atih,” tiin ânlangiemin a phuonga.
22 the disciples were looking, therefore, at one another, doubting concerning of whom He speaks.
Ruoisingei han tu lelê mo a tina tak an riet loi sikin jâminzal takin annîn en inlôma.
23 And there was one of His disciples reclining in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;
Ruoisingei lâia mi inkhat Jisua'n a lungkham ngâipu hah Jisua kôla ânsunga.
24 Simon Peter, then, beckons to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom He speaks,
Hapa kôm han Simon Peter'n, “Tutak mo a ti, rekel ta,” tiin kut leh tônin a chongpuia.
25 and that one having leaned back on the breast of Jesus, responds to Him, “Lord, who is it?”
Masikin ama ha Jisua tieng ân thîna, “Pumapa, tu lelê mo ani?” tiin a rekela.
26 Jesus answers, “It is that one to whom I, having dipped the morsel, will give it”; and having dipped the morsel, He gives [it] to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.
Jisua'n a kôm, “Vâipôl hârte michie ka ta, ke pêk tak hah ning atih,” tiin a thuona. Masikin vâipôl hârte a lâka, a michie-a, Simon Iscariot nâipasal Judas kôm a pêk zoi.
27 And after the morsel, then Satan entered into that one. Jesus, therefore, says to him, “What you do—do quickly”;
Judas'n vâipôl hârte ha a lâk suo, harenghan a sûnga han Soitan alût kelen zoi. Jisua'n a kôm, “No tho rang tak hih tholai roh!” a tipea.
28 and none of those reclining to eat knew for what intent He said this to him,
Dosâng rihîla om adangngei han tutên ithomo ma anghan Jisua'n a tipe riet mak ngei.
29 for certain [of them] were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus says to him, “Buy what we have need of for the celebration”; or that he may give something to the poor;
Ruoisingei senkhatin chu Judas han sum a kol sikin, Jisua'n khohoia mang rang neinun ânsam rochôk roh a tipe mini, aninônchu inrieng ngei imini pêk roh a tipe mini tiin an bôka.
30 having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.
Judas han vâipôl hâr hah a lâka, a rotpat kelen zoi, ma zora hah jân ani.
31 When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus says, “Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in Him;
Judas a rotpat suole chu Jisua'n an kôm a tia, “Atûn chu Miriem Nâipasal roiinpuina ânlang zoia, ama sikin Pathien roiinpuina khom ânlang zoi ani.
32 if God was glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself; indeed, He will immediately glorify Him.
Male ama renga Pathien roiinpuina ânlangin chu, Pathien khomin ama renga han Miriem Nâipasal roiipuina minlang atih, male ama'n voikhat rengin tho kelen atih.
33 Little children, yet a little [while] am I with you; you will seek Me, and according as I said to the Jews, I also say to you now: To where I go away, you are not able to come.
Ka nâingei, nin lâia zora sôt om khâi no ning. Mi en nin ta; aniatachu Juda rachamneipungei ki tipe ngei anghan nangni ki tipe ani, ‘Ke sena ranga se thei no tunui.’
34 A new command I give to you, that you love one another; according as I loved you, that you also love one another;
Male atûn hin chongpêk athar nangni ke pêk ani: inkhat le inkhat inlungkham inlôm roi. Nangni ku lungkham anghan nin inlungkham ngêt rang ani.
35 in this will all know that you are My disciples, if you may have love one to another.”
Inkhat le inkhat nin inlungkham inlômin chu ku ruoisingei nin ni tiin mi murdi'n riet an tih,” a tia.
36 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, to where do You go away?” Jesus answered him, “To where I go away, you are not able now to follow Me, but afterward you will follow Me.”
Simon Peter'n, “Pumapa, khotieng mo ne se rang?” tiin a rekela. “Ke sena ranga atûn chu mi la jûi thei no tunui,” aniatachu, “nakana chu mi la jûi nin tih,” tiin a thuona.
37 Peter says to Him, “Lord, why am I not able to follow You now? I will lay down my life for You”;
Peter'n, “Pumapa, ithomo atûn hin chu nang ku jûi thei loi rang?” tiin a rekela, “Nangma rang sikin chu ki ringna khom pêk ki tih!” a tia.
38 Jesus answered him, “You will lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you may deny Me three times.”
Jisua'n a kôm, “Keima rang sikin ni ringna ne pêk tatak rang na? Chongdiktak nang ki ril: ârkhuong mân voithum, ama hih riet ngâi mu-ung, ni ti rang ani,” tiin a thuona.
