John 13
1 And before the Celebration of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour has come, that He may depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who [are] in the world—to the end He loved them.
逾越節慶日前，耶穌知道他離此世歸父的時辰已到，他既然愛了世上屬於自己的人，就愛他們到底。
2 And dinner having come, the Devil already having put [it] into the heart of Judas of Simon, Iscariot, that he may deliver Him up,
正吃晚餐的時候──魔鬼已使依斯加略人西滿的兒子猶達斯決意出賣耶穌─
3 Jesus knowing that all things the Father has given to Him—into [His] hands, and that He came forth from God, and He goes to God,
耶穌因知道父把一切已交在他手中，也知道自己是從天主來的，又要往天主那裡去，
4 rises from the dinner, and lays down His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded Himself;
就從席日間起來，脫上外衣，拿起一條手巾束在腰間，
5 afterward He puts water into the basin, and began to wash the feet of His disciples, and to wipe with the towel with which He was being girded.
然後把水倒在盆裏，開始洗門徒的腳，用束著的手巾擦乾。
6 He comes, therefore, to Simon Peter, and that one says to Him, “Lord, You—do You wash my feet?”
及至來到西滿伯多祿跟前，伯多祿對他說: 「主! 你給我腳嗎？」
7 Jesus answered and said to him, “That which I do you have not known now, but you will know after these things”;
耶穌回答說: 「我所做的你現在不明白，以後你會明白。」
8 Peter says to Him, “You may not wash my feet—throughout the age.” Jesus answered him, “If I may not wash you, you have no part with Me”; (aiōn g165)
伯多祿對他說：「不，你永遠不可給我洗腳！」耶穌回答說: 「我若不洗你，你就與我無分。」 (aiōn g165)
9 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, not my feet only, but also the hands and the head.”
西滿伯多祿遂說：「主! 不但我的腳，而且連手帶頭，都給我洗罷! 」
10 Jesus says to him, “He who has been bathed has no need except to wash his feet, but he is clean altogether; and you are clean, but not all”;
耶穌向他說：「沐浴過的人，已全身清潔，只需洗腳就夠了。你們原是潔淨的，但不都是。」
11 for He knew him who is delivering Him up; because of this He said, “You are not all clean.”
原來，耶穌知道誰要出賣他，為此說: 你們不都是潔淨的。
12 When, therefore, He washed their feet, and took His garments, having reclined again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?
及至耶穌洗完了他們的腳，穿上外衣，又去坐下，對他們說: 「你們明白我給你們所做的嗎？
13 You call Me the Teacher and the LORD, and you say well, for I am;
你們稱我「師傅」、「主子」，說得正對：我原來是。
14 if then I washed your feet—the LORD and the Teacher—you also ought to wash one another’s feet.
若我為主子，為師傅的話，給你們洗腳，你們也該彼此洗腳；
15 For I gave to you an example, that, according as I did to you, you also may do;
我給你們立了榜樣，叫你們也照我給你們所做的去做。
16 truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his lord, nor an apostle greater than he who sent him;
我實實在在告訴你們: 沒有僕人大過主人的，也沒有奉使的大過派遣他的。
17 if you have known these things, you are blessed if you may do them;
你們既知道了這些事，如果實行，便是有福的。
18 I do not speak concerning you all; I have known whom I chose for Myself; but that the Writing may be fulfilled: He who is eating the bread with Me, lifted up his heel against Me.
我不是說你們全體，我認識我所揀選的；但經上所記載的必須應驗：『吃過我飯的人，也舉腳踢我。』
19 From this time I tell you, before its coming to pass, that, when it may come to pass, you may believe that I AM;
就在現在，事未發生以前，我告訴你們，好叫事發生以後，你們相信我就是那一位。
20 truly, truly, I say to you, he who is receiving whomsoever I may send, receives Me; and he who is receiving Me, receives Him who sent Me.”
我實實在在告訴你們：凡接待我所派遣的，就是接待我；接待我的，就是接待那派遣我來的。」
21 Having said these things, Jesus was troubled in the spirit, and testified and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you that one of you will deliver Me up”;
耶穌說了這些話，心神煩亂，就明明地說: 「我實實在在告訴你們: 你們中有一個要出賣我。」
22 the disciples were looking, therefore, at one another, doubting concerning of whom He speaks.
門徒便互相觀望，猜疑他說的是誰。
23 And there was one of His disciples reclining in the bosom of Jesus, whom Jesus was loving;
他門徒中有一個是耶穌所愛的，他那時斜倚在耶穌的懷裏，
24 Simon Peter, then, beckons to this one, to inquire who he may be concerning whom He speaks,
西滿伯多祿就向他示意說: 「你問他說的是誰？」
25 and that one having leaned back on the breast of Jesus, responds to Him, “Lord, who is it?”
那位就緊靠在耶穌的胸膛上，問他說: 「主！是誰？」
26 Jesus answers, “It is that one to whom I, having dipped the morsel, will give it”; and having dipped the morsel, He gives [it] to Judas of Simon, Iscariot.
耶穌答覆說: 「我蘸這片餅遞給誰，誰就是。」耶穌就蘸了一片餅，遞給依斯加略人西滿的兒子猶達斯。
27 And after the morsel, then Satan entered into that one. Jesus, therefore, says to him, “What you do—do quickly”;
隨著那片餅，撒殫進入了他的心，於是耶穌對他說: 「你所要做的，你快去做罷！」
28 and none of those reclining to eat knew for what intent He said this to him,
同席的人誰也沒有明白耶穌為什麼向他說了這話。
29 for certain [of them] were thinking, since Judas had the bag, that Jesus says to him, “Buy what we have need of for the celebration”; or that he may give something to the poor;
不過，有人因為猶達斯掌管錢囊，以為耶穌是給他說: 「你去買我們過節所需要的」，或者，要他給窮人施捨一些東西。
30 having received, therefore, the morsel, that one immediately went forth, and it was night.
猶達斯一吃了那一片餅，就立時出去了；那時，正是黑夜。
31 When, therefore, he went forth, Jesus says, “Now was the Son of Man glorified, and God was glorified in Him;
猶達斯出去以後，耶穌就說：「現在人子受到了光榮，天主也在人子身上受到了光榮。
32 if God was glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself; indeed, He will immediately glorify Him.
天主既然在人子身上得到了光榮，天主也要在自己內使人子得到光榮，並且立時就要光榮他。
33 Little children, yet a little [while] am I with you; you will seek Me, and according as I said to the Jews, I also say to you now: To where I go away, you are not able to come.
孩子們！我同你們在一起的時候不多了；以後你們要尋找我，就如我曾向猶太人說過：我所去的地方，你們不能去；現在我也給你們說。
34 A new command I give to you, that you love one another; according as I loved you, that you also love one another;
我給你們一條新命令: 你們該彼此相愛如同我愛了你們，你們也該照樣彼此相愛。
35 in this will all know that you are My disciples, if you may have love one to another.”
如果你們之間彼此相親相愛，世人因此就可認出你們是我的門徒。」
36 Simon Peter says to Him, “Lord, to where do You go away?” Jesus answered him, “To where I go away, you are not able now to follow Me, but afterward you will follow Me.”
西滿伯多祿問耶穌說: 「主! 你往那裡去？」耶穌回答說: 「我所去的地方，你如今不能跟我去，但後來卻要跟我去。」
37 Peter says to Him, “Lord, why am I not able to follow You now? I will lay down my life for You”;
伯多祿向他說: 「主! 為什麼現在我不能跟你去？我要為你捨掉我的性命! 」
38 Jesus answered him, “You will lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you may deny Me three times.”
耶穌答覆說: 「你要為我捨掉你的性命嗎？我實實在在告訴你: 雞未叫以前，你要三次不認我。」
